Although I’ve come to loathe doctors because of my many encounters of cold and seemingly indifferent bedside manners, I must say that I have been fully impressed with the doctors at Arkansas Spine and Pain (ASAP). The doctors were not only interested in my challenges but also my lifestyle and worked with me to decide on some holistic procedures (based on my life and not just the theoretical understandings of my pain). The doctors are relatable human beings who take in to context, all of the factors that may be contributing to the ailments that may be troubling a patient. When I left ASAP, I felt empowered and encouraged to discuss my medical options with my husband and my family. For the first time in my life, I am highly recommending a doctor and more specifically, this clinic for anyone dealing with chronic and severe pain. There is hope with the wonderful staff and doctors at Arkansas Spine and Pain clinic.

Sorry excuse for a medical office.

None of the doctors are on the same page nothing to help, they don't even examine you.. The group everyone together in do not consider a person as an individual and their needs

This place is the worst medical center I've ever seen. They violate HIPAA by making you do a urine sample in the waiting room bathroom in front of everyone. They treated me for 8 months with injections and nerve burns for sacriolitis without any pain relief. Then the doctor came in and said that they didn't think it was back pain, but was sacriolitis. I told her that they were suppose to have been treating me for that the whole time. She didn't know anything about any of my treatments that had been done. The nurse that checked me in at office appointments was very incompetent. He didn't know how to take an accurate blood pressure and told me that a blood pressure of 176/98 was a good reading. He also argued with me on several occasions on taking drug screens at every visit, which I didn't need to do. I wasted 8 months trying to alleviate pain and owe them a couple thousand of dollars for nothing because I am still hurting and having trouble working. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The entire operation is slow and unprofessional.

I have been going to Arkansas spine and pain for almost a year. Dr Olaya is the only one I never have problems with. But today I had to see a PR. I am not happy at all. My age has nothing to do with my pain. Switching meds are not safe. So with that being said if I can't see a Doctor I will wait

I was nervous going to a pain clinic as people had mixed reviews on them in general. I can not express how wonderful Dr. Q and his staff are. I'm a young woman with multiple diseases that inflict chronic pain. I felt like he listened and truly wants to help me get in a better place so I can live my life as it is intended. I recommend this clinic to anyone who sits at home in pain and can't see the light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you to ASAP!

My mother has been a patient here for a few years. They have helped her pain (to a certain degree) but their business procedures are infuriating. Don’t expect your appointment time to mean anything. If you have a 6:45am appointment and people whose appointments are scheduled in the 7 o’clock hour beat you there, they will take them first. Plan to arrive as early as possible or be prepared to wait a LONG time, sometimes well over an hour, which is unacceptable when you’re scheduled as the first appointment of the day. If your office manager reads this - I urge you to change your procedures. Having worked in healthcare for 20 years I have to tell you this is not how you should treat your patients. Their time is valuable and it is not ok when you take people out of appointment order as long as they arrived on time. Please don’t tell me you don’t do this - I have witnessed it for certain at least half a dozen times and had confirmation of others’ appointment times.

I have been suffering from back pain for some time now and went to chiropractor after chiropractor with no success. My friend recommended Dr. Q at the Arkansas Spine and Pain Center of Excellence and for the first time in my life I feel pain free. It turns out the chiropractors never diagnosed the problem. They just provided me with temporary relief. Dr. Q. took the time to thoroughly examine me and listen to me. He then was able to properly diagnose my problem. His bedside manner is exceptional. He is friendly and caring. Dr. Q. was able to provide me with long term results for my back pain. Words can’t express how happy I am to finally be pain free. Thanks Dr. Q. for being the best.

Wants to manage pain with the weakest pain medication (tramadol 50 mg) and won't prescribe anything stronger when you ask if there is anything else. It's hard to enjoy your life when your in constant pain. My dad deserves better than the care they have given to him and they treat people like this because they can get away with it because there aren't many options for pain management around. Believe me I will find him something better eventually and leave this place eating my dust.

I've been in pain management for over 27 years and I am discussed with the dea in my opinion doctors have there hands tied my experience with Michele and dr shaq is very pleasant I go to benton and I'm seen very quick and never rushed out I just wish doctors would honour their hippocratic oath and stand up to the dea who seem to care about heroin addicts more than decent people who suffer every second of the day 10 years ago I owned my own business worked 7 days a week because I had enough pain meds to do it now I'm in pain 24 hours a day on disability and have no life basically

Have been sitting in the exam room for an hour and a half waiting to see the Dr. While he is sitting in his office on his personal cell phone talking. Nurse has been telling us we are next but he comes out and goes to another room when we were suppose to be next. Very poor patient care no respect for the patients that have to take medical transport to get to the Dr appointments. Medical transport been waiting for an hour for us to get done

I was recently in here after a car accident, and Dr Q was incredible. He examined me and while he had me get xrays and an MRI, he had a good idea of what my problem was just from seeing where I was in pain. The medication he gave me was adequate but not excessive (I hate taking painkillers, I have an addictive personality), and his general outlook has given me a lot of hope. Outside of his professionalism, he's incredibly friendly and loves his job. You might have to wait a little to see him on what seemed to be (to me) a busy day, but the staff is very competent, and in my view, it was worth it.

I have a unique condition. Dr Q and his staff have gone way way beyond just treating my pain. They are truly concerned about the root cause of pain and fixing that versus pouring on drugs and needless surgeries. I highly respect and recommend this place. I have been to most of the pain "specialists" in the state over the last 20 yrs, NONE compare.

Love this place

samaya golden

They checked my mom in as soon as we got here

Wow this place has got to be the worst place I have ever been. I am looking for a new doctor. Most of their staff don’t speak English as their first language. They violate HIPPA laws by making you wait in waiting room to get your prescriptions then proceed, very loudly, to go over the information in front of everyone!!! They NEVER return phone calls.

Koneshia King

They are horrible. Nothing more nothing less they treated my father like a drug addict and he is not that. I honestly feel sorry for this place cause they so wrapped up in catching user that they don't know the real sick people at all. Sorry place of businesses. Looking into a discrimination lawsuit.

NAKITA PAYTON

This place is trying to make my husband pay for his procedure when thata what insurance is for. How is that? That is illegal and I pray that they are not doing other people like this. I'm so glad my husband does not have to go back here. But I will be contacting my insurance company and my attorney on this cause. And on top of that. They had the nerves to call my mother this morning on this issue because I had the payments to stop. And they doing this behind my insurance companies back. They're not even billing them yet, but making my husband pay for it.. nope not today.

I've had spinal issues since I had a work related injury four years ago. I've struggled with different doctors not being able to address my issues properly. I wasn't given all of the options that were needed to really give me a fighting chance at healing and finally getting some lasting relief for my pain. I was sick of getting treated like a drug seeker and not getting actual rehabilitation, so I left my old doctor six months ago and have never looked back. I have been seeing Dr Amir Qureshi, and he has helped me to take action and has allowed me to advocate for my treatment. We have tried some procedures that have really paid off for me. The staff at Arkansas Spine & Pain is probably the best of any office I've been to for any other ailment. They are kind, pleasant, and I never have to wait too long for my appointments. I think the doctors spend an appropriate amount of time with the patients, which I have heard others in the waiting room say. For reference, my old doctor spent an average of 8 minutes in the exam room with me and wondered why we never got anywhere with my pain. Its nice to feel that your needs are really being addressed. This is an office that cares.

I started going there when the other doctor was not doing there job. And started to go there and I had gotten one injection and I gotten my medicine cut down and I am in server pain but they didn't care. I am looking for someone to understand me not push me aside

i was charged 20,000$ over an 8 day period for a very painful worthless procedure they call the burn. kinda high for quack medicine. i wasnt informed of the existence of the medicaid vans and had a great deal of needless trouble getting people to take wait and return me on quack surgery days mandatory for meds. 1500 to test old people for drugs theyve never heard of was not uncommonn. many people do not get good results with needless harmful surgery. i would look elsewhere. compulsive 10,000 a precedure outpatient sugery to get your meds is not right

A year ago I would have given them a 5☆ however since Dr Halim left the practice unexpectedly in January of this year it seems as though it is falling apart! They didnt bother to notify Dr Halim's patients he had left. I also waited 4 months for a referral ,only to find out after much checking on my part, it had to come from my primary Dr. Dr Q is pretty good but it's almost impossible to get an appt with him now. They always want to schedule you with a Dr you've never heard of or a nurse practioner. And it infuriates me that you cant reach anyone by phone & they will NOT return calls, especially the person who does the referrals! ! I am ready to find new pain mgmt after being with them for 3 years.

My experience has been horrible I wouldn't refer a cat here! They are extremely slow and they try to beat you telling them what's wrong with you ! They are so ready to rush you out when they have had you sitting in the lobby for hours then you have to sit again for a prescription! Terrible

Andy Burks

The staff from front office to the back were awesome. I couldnt expect anymore from them. Dr Q advice was spot on. I have been hurting for 11 years . Now I have the nerve stimulator and has removed the pain. thanks

Gail Massey

Thay we're really nice to me.thay took very good care of me.

rlevns .

Place is worthless, save your money and go elsewhere. all they wanted to give me is Gabapentin and I told them it didn't work. Plus the shots they give you don't work either. the surgical center is way unprofessional, they had loud music going and some were singing loudly using profanity. Place is an insurance bleeder, nothing more.

Love the concern they have for me (as a patient). They also work around my work schedule too. Thank you for helping me with my back problem.

Rebecca Collins

I had my 2nd set of injections Thursday, Dr Olaya was great talked to me during the procedure which I think made it easier for me, The post op nurses were very good they worked together and got stuff done and was very nice about it, Thank You Whitney and Angela.... now its Sunday my back is still hurting lots of pressure

Thomas Powers

This business is very pleasant and really cares about their patients. They take care of patients extremely good.

Darren Morgan

I've honestly never had to demand a co-pay back until I visited this doctor. Like many others commented, this is the WORST pain specialists I've ever visited. They display zero professionalism. My appointment was at 2:30 and they placed me in an exam room until 4pm. I left out several times to ask the nurse when the doctor was coming and I was always told I was next. Seems as if they COMPLETELY Forgot about me because when I left out upset, I was told by the front desk that the doctor already left for the day. Don't waste your time...

Jeana Gray

I have been a patient in the Little Rock office for many years. In reply to those who say they can't get a call back, make sure to get your nurses extension before you leave the office. If you have the right extension you will get called back, if you leave a message with the front desk the nurses don't get the message. I have been seeing Dara Mooney for at least the last 2-3 years and with her knowledge of supplements and nutrition she has helped me more than all the procedures, prescriptions and nerve burns. Unfortunately with Arkansas laws and officials cracking down on opioids and pain meds for people who don't have cancer, things are going to get worse for them and thier patients like me. My nerve burn helped but unfortunately it grew back and my insurance won't authorize another one. I have many different auto-immune, arthritic, chronic pain diseases. I have been in pain every second of my life for almost 19 years now but i do believe if it wasn't for Dr. Q and Dara I would have been in a wheelchair by now. I am barely able to get around now, they give me only enough pain medication to get off the couch. Now because of Arkansas's obsession with opioids I will be getting my pills cut from 15mg down to 10mg. I understand there are some people who abuse their meds or dumb kids who think it's fun to take pain meds and end up dying, but the people who don't get enough pain relief to live a normal life shouldn't have to pay for others people's mistakes. The people who try to do things the right and legal way shouldn't have to go through even more pain and ridicule because of people who don't do things the right way. It's a system that turns people who actually need the help into criminals

Sharon Withers

Please strive to improve your ratings! You are dealing with people in PAIN & every minute can hurt. This includes returning our phone calls about urgent issues.

Lavita Bailey

My treatments have been very effective. If i have not seen best results.. Communication has been extended well after my treatments with follow up phone calls and i am brought right back in or taken care of over phone with my care calls immediately. They are all kind and caring and make sure attention is given to every patient. When they are running behind.. They even let us know in the waiting rooms how long they will be and who is next. Takes away the frustration and anguish when they do. Pleasent and comfortable procedures.. Unlike other pain centers. They also respect my desire to not be on opiods and have gotten me off of what another doctor put me on. I am still on medication. But no longer on hydrocodones. And no longer in intolerable pain at home. For that.. I am blessed to have been placed in care here! Quite happy and pleased so far!
