Unfortunately I was unable to have my children seen here. I work full time and even with me getting off work at 2:30 pm and needing an appointment after 3:30 pm (so I had enough time to pick my kids up and bring them in) they wouldn't budge. I was even willing to wait months out for this to be possible. Nope. Sorry but I'll take my kids to an office with more appreciation and understanding of the lifestyle of a working mother. Thanks kalyee for trying so hard to help me. Psych!

I do not recommend this office. We were excited to actually like the doctor we saw multiple times after having been booted from our previous ped due to insurance change. The rest of the staff, however, is less than competent. My 4 month old baby was given a flu shot by staff members (plural due to the amount of negligence on multiple parties) - when the CDC does not recommend it until after 6 months of age. When the mistake was finally realized (weeks later) we were simply told to shake it off and bring him in after 6 months for a booster. After I brought the INSANE oversight to their attention, only then did I receive communication from an operations manager. Apparently, it's an "isolated incident" but if something like administering medication with a needle can be slighted, I definitely don't trust the staff with ANYTHING else. Please consider this before bringing your children here for care - they very obviously and carelessly treat their patients like numbers with a revolving door. Personal care was so lacking, that they could not be bothered to know how old my infant was and whether his health would be affected adversely by their negligence.

I origanlly started with Dr. Spiekerman whom of which I absolutely love. He unfortunately moved to their anthem office when it opened which I was really upset about. I have seen a few other Dr.s in this office and 2 stand out Lisa Ring and I believe it is Mishra or something to that effect. One I would say steer clear of but I don't care to remember him so I don't. It starts with a B that's all I remember and I wouldn't take my son to him if he were the last Dr. On this planet. The office and staff are always friendly and if you're running late as long as you call them and let them know it usually isn't a problem.

I’m absolutely disgusted by DVPeds recent “strict policy.” I’ve been coming to this location for well over two years, and today I was told I can no longer come here due to my religious belief against vaccines. My two year old does not have all of his vaccines up to date and we have never had an issue coming here. We only had an issue today when I took my daughter in for her two month check up, and I was told by Dr. Amajadi we are no longer welcome. I asked her why I as not the informed of this policy sooner as my children have been there several times without vaccines. She then told me “because they thought I could convince you.” This is absolutely unprofessional behavior on your part for turning my children away. If this is the case, I should’ve been turned away sooner in a more professional manner.

We’ve been taking both of our kids to Desert Valley Pediatrics since they were newborns. We absolutely love the staff and haven’t had a doctor we didn’t love. They listen, ease your concerns, and truly want to partner with you in providing the best care for your children. We love Dr. Leathers the most and always try to see her for our kids’ well checks. I’ve recommended many friends to their practice and none of been disappointed. I just can’t say enough good things!

My youngest daughter was seeing Dr. Bernardo Tan since she was born. She then started having sezuires. Dr. Tan did not run any test on her to find out the source of her sezuires, so we decided to get a second opinion. I was given the name of Dr. Mishra and Dr. Spiekerman. The first visit my husband and I explained to Dr. Mishra what was going on. She immediatly ordered test and went above and beyond to help us find some answers. Dr. Spiekerman and Dr. Mishra work side by side and Dr. Spiekerman always treats my daughters as if there were his own child. Both doctors have met my expectations and I wouldnt take my kids anywhere else.

I have ZERO complaints. Amazed from the time we stepped in, and we were very nerve wrecked with our daughters first doctors appointment. But everything was perfect from first sight!

This place is a joke, my daughter and son started going here about 6 months ago. Their staff are INCOMPETENT do not take your children here. They couldn't even make a simple diagnosis. She was ill for a month and a half and these doctors (which you see a new one each time you go there) tell you it's strep throat but can't give the proper medication to help the child. I am telling you I have been in there 3 times in the past month and I still am dealing with the same sickness. Lack of medical skills, I don't know. Then talking to the office manager Annie and she complaining about me getting upset when I sat on the phone today calling all day to see what I can do about the medication that was making her severely sick, all she says it to stop yelling at her. REALLY REALLY when I sat all day calling back and fourth on the phone and no answer still at 5:57 p.m. My child has been sick for a long time and this is the service they give you. By the way the Medical Assistants that call you back don't even know why you called the office even though you left the messages with the triage nurse when you originally called. Explaining to have them leave a detailed message so I know what to do, then the manager says they can't do that but the triage nurse says I will have them do that, so which one is it, seriously. Your better off taking your children to a free health care place and wait in line. I have good insurance through my employer so maybe that is why I have to keep taking her back so they can bill the heck out of my insurance. No regards to your children well-being its all about the money. I am concerned that she might have something else going on and here the manager hangs up the phone and nothing was completed, I should call the attorney generals office and complain about your office and the lack of care it provides to their patients. Now I have to find a new doctor and my daughter whom is ill has to deal with this sickness for longer because their staff and manager don't have a clue what they are doing. I would stay away from this place, if you really care for your children.

After reading through the reviews. I am totally disgusted with the experiences some of these children parents had to deal with. Religion and personal beliefs of these families and the discrimination they experienced is totally unprofessional!

My son has been a patient at Desert Valley Pediatrics since birth. He is now going to be five years old. I have always loved how in depth they have been in explaining every part of his development. I have been absolutely pleased with their great level of customer service. I just recently switched over my teenage children from their pediatric office since birth, over to DVP due to the excellent care my younger child has received.

I went there when I was little and now my daughter goes. LOVE the staff! So nice!

My grandson came in because he wasn't feeling well. They needed to cath him to get a urine sample. The ma named James or Brandon , whichever it is. He has a jerry curl and he is Mexican. Pulled my grandsons foreskin on his private down so hard it got stuck!!! Had to call the doctor to release it. It was turning purple!! My grandson is 2. He passed out from the pain. These people are horrible. If you take your kids there watch out for the jerry curl guy. He is evil.

Been there with my kids since they were 1yo, so 9years ago and Dr Amjadi is amazing

Staff and doctors are good but the billing sucks and so do the hours. I doubt it would be a problem for most parents but makes it really hard for me being a single parent.

I don't like this office i feel the staff here is not very helpful

I've been taking my son to see Dr. Mishra for 3 years, and I have nothing but great things to say! They really offer everything you could want in general pediatric care and attention for your child. My son has several health issues, and Brandy always gets referrals done super fast. All the office staff and nurses/assistants are courteous, professional, and try to make your child feel comfortable when going to the doctor.

Poor service female doctor was passive aggressive and didn't seem to have my childs well being at heart . no vaccination no service policy now , nobody needs this location we have options. 1 star for subpar service over many years .

I share many thoughts with the parents below. We love Dr. Leathers but have recently had issues with her nurse, who was super cold and shut off (that makes it hard for a toddler who is getting multiple shots). The front office staff is rarely helpful and the office scheduling policy is one of the worst I've ever come across. The last conversation I had with scheduling was very unhelpful. They directed me to the patient portal and I wasn't able to schedule a check-up appointment or learn anything about the flu shots like they said I would be able to.

Dr. Coit is awesome

Desert Valley Pediatrics is amazing. We have been taking my 1 year old there since he was born and I couldn't be happier with them. Dr. Mishra is great! Very knowledgeable, friendly, and answers all your questions in a kindly manner and without rushing. I almost feel like I am talking to a good friend and not only my child's doctor. Any time my baby has gotten sick and needs to be seen right away they are quick to respond and schedule us the same day depending on the urgency. The on call doctors are great as well. Customer service has been very good from the start. The wait time at the office is usually no more than 10 minutes. Only issue I had once had to do with billing and they fixed it right away. We are very happy with our experiences at Desert Valley Pediatrics and highly recommend it to everyone.
