The front office staff has always been super helpful and informative. I have six kids so sometimes when I go to the doctor's office I'm a little overwhelmed. All of the staff in this office has been super patient with my kids and I. My children see Doctor Baron she is great and always makes my children and I feel like she really cares. I have seen other doctors in this office and they have all been just as sweet as dr. as Doctor Baron.

Gaylynn Doran

We love Desert Shores. I really appreciate how friendly everyone is and how quickly they can get my daughters in for an appointment.

Larissa Martinez

Love this practice! All docs are wonderful, clean and friendly environment.

We absolutely love Desert Shores Pediatrics and the staff! They continuously go above and beyond our needs! We have had nothing but positive experiences at Desert Shores and couldn’t imagine going anywhere else! The front desk is always smiling and ready to help, and the medical professionals are always willing to spend extra time with us to explain things in a way we understand!

Kyleen Pritchett

I love this office. The staff is efficient, friendly, and the doctors are very knowledgeable. They listen to my concerns and answer my questions thoroughly. Definitely recommend this office to others.

Erik Nilson

Two seperate times we waited over a half an hour to be seen by a doctor. Show up early for appointment and get stuck waiting for a half hour. This office has gotten our insurance wrong every time we have come in, some things don't change. Strongly recommend not using this doctors office!!!

Shelby Lea

Shocked at the reviews saying they aren't on time - actually laughing because we always get right in ON TIME! Amazing customer service and we love our doctor! My 15 month old daughter is not the most civil or calm patient and they still treat us with love and help me feel light hearted about the situation rather than stressed. When she cries and acts nuts my sweet doctor said "she's just too smart" :) Nothing boosts a moms confidence like reassurance and kindness. So grateful for this office!

We love Desert Shores! I have been taking my 2 kids to the Chandler office since they were born and have had no issues. My kids actually enjoy going to the doctors. The physicians and staff are amazing. Never had any problems making an appointment and always get right in. Thank you DSP for your awesome services

I've been going to this location for a year now with my son. The staff is friendly, it seems clean, and the location is great for me. One positive is they can always get me in last minute. However, I've had multiple occasions where my appointment time is 20-30 minutes before I'm actually seen by a doctor or aide so I'm sitting in an exam room with no toys and a sick infant! This is by no means atypical of a doctors' office, but you'd think since we're dealing with kids here, they'd be better at not overbooking and being on schedule. I hate being that parent that leaves the exam room to ask when the doctor will be there - I really do.

The staff is wonderful and the doctors are world class. The office is always accommodating with appointments for sick kids or last minute sports physicals. I would recommend Desert Shores Pediatrics to anyone who has children.

The staff has always been friendly, and they have been able to get us in the same day for concerns several times. They are even open on some Saturdays! I called on New years eve morning (a Saturday) and was able to be seen within a couple of hours. The doctors are great too.

We relocated from Florida and around the time of our transition, our son was due for his 9 month shots. Being new parents and not knowing the area we did what any modern person does - Googled reviews of offices. This office was highly rated and I can see why. We’ve been receiving care from Dr. Bhullar at our visits and she’s GREAT! She’s gentle and her bedside manner is great. I love the fact that she’s conversational at the visits and takes the time to listen to our concerns. She was even able to catch why our son was sick recently when both urgent care and the hospital both diagnosed as an ear infection (spots on throat!!!) I would highly recommend the office as the support staff is great, all the nurses are friendly and it’s just a warm and inviting office. They also offer after hours care (I think until 7:00 on some days) which we’ve yet to use, but love that the option is available. Highly recommended and we’ll keep coming back.

They say they treat ADHD. They say they are accepting new patients. Wrong. They are only treating their existing patients with ADHD and they are not accepting any new patients with ADHD even if they have already been receiving successful treatment from their last pediatrician. They told me they could see all my kids except they couldn't treat my one child for ADHD. Total bull&@$!. Well they are going to miss out on thousands in earning potential of all three of my kids as well as any future children I may have. I refuse to go to more than one office because it might be inconvenient for them. Lazy losers. Perhaps they are doing my family a favor, we prefer our doctors to care about all their potential patients not just the ones that are easier to treat.

Holdbrook Macarthur

I posted a negative review for this practice and they sent a letter stating that we need to seek care elsewhere and that after our negative reviews they will not be in the position to serve us. What a joke of a place, your child is just a number in this place you should seek care at a place where they care about your children not about the money they will make of you. This letter was just an affirmation we did the right thing by getting the heck out of this practice. Nancy rabilis/practice manager you should've have saved the piece of paper and the mail stamp we were not planning to set foot on your practice since the day your refused to schedule an appointment for our feverish child because we owed $10 in deductible.

During the yearly check-up and for two years in a row up they told my son that he needed glasses and he should see an ophthalmologist. Both times his eyesight was 20/20. The ophthalmologist told us that these guys do not know what they are doing. UPDATE: two weeks later we received a certified letter saying basically that they do not want us as clients anymore. Also, we received a bill for the hearing test they did (which was also wrong). When we called to ask why they said that the test is not mandatory after five years so it is not covered by the medical insurance. They did not explain that to us when they did the test.

I have been taking my 2 kids her for about 8 years now (since my littlest was a baby!) and I have always had good experiences. We have mostly seen Marion Memmot and Kelli Garland (who treats my son's ADHD). All the providers listen and we never feel rushed. I also love the Saturday hours, and being able to call first thing in the morning for a same-day sick visit if a kid comes down with something quickly!

Melanie Rolon

Maureen Botkin

I brought my grandbabies in and they were simply amazing....timely, friendly and very professional.

Fantastic Pediatrics office!! The staff is always friendly, the Doctors are amazing and I have never had a problem getting in the same day. They offer late and Saturday hours as well. The care my children receive is top-notch and I would highly recommend them. To those that have complained of wait times: there have been a couple occasions where the wait was a little longer than normal but considering the flu season we have seen in valley it was completely understandable.

Desert Shores Pediatrics is sufficient for standard procedures like vaccinations, annual wellness checks and flu shots. If you make an appointment for a consultation, be prepared to make follow up appointments since certain providers offer certain services and you’ll likely not get scheduled with a qualified provider initially. This results in a waste of time and money for parents. If your child requires care outside standard procedures listed above, be prepared to take time off of work as certain services are only offered at certain times of the day. There is no flexibility to this, and the staff does not appreciate questions on this topic. You will be forced to work around their schedule and limitations, or find another provider. When my child required only standard care, I recommend Desert Shores to other parents. I can no longer recommend them.

Only giving one start because my kids were patients for many years and they liked Dr Alred. I was told in July that they are out of network with my insurance. We have had 4 visits since January and I was never told I was out of network. After 2 conversations with billing and 7 weeks later I still have not received a call back from the office manager! Terrible business practice. Not to mention Marion sent my daughter home with a 104.7 fever! We didn't take his advice and went straight to the ER where she was admitted for dehydration. I would absolutely not recommend this office!!

Sobeida Enriques

The staff and the doctors are amazing. They always listen to me as my kids mom and I always recommend them to my family and friends.

Erin Gomez

Staff are great! Dr.'s are experienced with great bedside manner. Place is also beautiful and clean! Been taking my kids here since they were babies.

It seems as though they are not interested in taking new patients? At the very minimum, scheduling doesn’t coordinate well with physicians. I scheduled our first visit to assess the current medications my son is taking for various conditions. We love our current pediatrician but her office is not close to our home. When we arrived, the Dr. did not know the reason for the visit and was initially very rude and flustered but later apologized that it was scheduled incorrectly. She said the family and school needed to complete paperwork in order to assess his meds. I completed the paperwork and they said someone would call me back in a few days to schedule an appt. 11 days later my son is nearly out of meds, I have not heard anything back. I call in to see if I can schedule an appt, and the receptionist said no, it will be a few more weeks. I explained that my son is almost out of medication and she suggested that I see his previous pediatrician for a refill. I asked her if they are still interested in treating my son or if they are no longer accepting new patients? She politely asked me if I would like to cancel the medication review. I explained that I was only trying to follow their process but was having a very difficult time getting a response. She said that she would see if another physician could look at his medical records and they would get back to me in a few weeks. Definitely not getting a warm and fuzzy feeling here. I’m guessing this is probably a great office for children who do not have multiple medical conditions requiring a higher level of care and where a lack of communication and follow through will not be detrimental to the child’s health.

Ciao Bella

My son has a lot of skin problems, for about a year and a half. The doctors Yin and Mullen told me it was a food allergy and excema. Which was true, but it turns out it is just ezcema, and extreme reaction to animal dander. He got a staph infection from scratching and it was a vicious cycle. We treated the infection , then he would get an allergic reaction to the dogs etc. I felt like they blamed us for being neglectiful of him, which was hardly the case. Instead of looking at symptoms of something greater, they told us to use over the counter creams and oatmeal baths. I took a chance with them again, it was like she never saw how bad his skin gets and she said she would call cps if this wasnt better in two weeks bc she was sure she could cure him in a month , if i followed instructions... I felt like the worst parent ever, even though i know how hard I've tried. I wouldn't recommend them if your baby has a skin problem./ infection

I have been in customer service my whole life I would never speak to a patient the way some of the front desk has spoken to me, it is very rude. It is sad because your doctors are very nice and talented. Your nice and honest patients are what make your business go round without us you would not have a business. I was very respectful I would never use bad language. I wish the best for your practice.

Best pediatric office in the valley!

If you want a place where your child is just a number come to this place. With the most annoying stupid rules of any other practice like showing your ID and medical ID card everytime of yiur visit regardless if you have already told them nothing have changed. A place that if you forgot to pay your $10 dollars insurance out of pocket they won't see your child not even put your child on the schedule until you pay it. I'm livid. My son was going to this practice since he was born and I forgot to pay $10 freaking dollars that I thought I could just pay on my next visit. My son is sick and when I call to make an appointment I was greeted with you have a balance of $10.83 and until you pay it I can't schedule an appointment for your son. Are you freaking kidding me?! I will be mailing you your freaking $10.83 but you won't see me or my children in your practice again. I hope it was well worth it.

I am very grateful we found Desert Shores! I called to ask advice on potty training. The doctor personally called me back and talked to me for 10 minutes! Now that’s customer service! Thank you to the doctors at Desert Shores Pediatrics!!

I have been taking my daughter to this location since she was born. Medical care is top quality. Doctors and nurses are friendly and attentive. Even front desk staff is friendly and approachable which isn't always the case at doctor offices. I love that they now have an online portal for parents. I would recommend this pediatrician.

Everytime I've gone, I never wait longer then a few minutes. Also I am a first time mother and every time I call to make an appointmeant they get me in right away, its very reasonable and they really do care.

We have been going to another pediatrician for a long time and I was pretty happy with the doctor (he did a great job figuring out my four year old had appendicitis while my other one had the stomach flu -- saved her life potentially) and my girls were comfortable. Now, hitting puberty my girls want a woman doctor, so we searched for another office. We finally found Desert Shores thanks to two of our friends who also go there and I am SO pleased with the office itself and Dr. Nason.

Thank Heaven for this Practice!! They have taken care of my two children for the past two years. I had been with my previous Pediatrician for 13 years and left after he said nothing was wrong with my son and gave us a card for a Psychiatrist. later to find out that my son had a brain tumor!!! Desert Shores was wonderful and sent us to Phoenix Children s to have the very best surgeons to care for him. Dr. Ciminello and Chantelle Lassak made sure that everything was checked and took time with us. I Love this practice. I have a healthy 15yr son who feels comfortable to talk to his Dr. which means everything. Thank you again!!

Everybody we encountered was beyond friendly and caring. The office was spotless. Over all experience was wonderful.

Dr Ciminello is AMAZING. The office is great about scheduling appointments, they even have weekend sick visits. Dr. Nason’s judgement (she was our primary for about a year) was pretty off and that resulted in a few issues but she’s a good person. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because of the flu shot barriers. I’d rather get my kids the nasal and when I asked the office about it they said “it has to be discussed with the doctor first” which I get, since there are extra exclusions for the nasal version. When I asked if they just go by the standard exclusions list (age above 2, no chronic illness etc etc) she said “you have to discuss it with the provider and then they will decide if they will do the shot”. So... I should have to make an appointment and if they decide that “my child will get the shot” (and therefore my child will leave with nothing) then I’ve completely wasted my time for the day... My husband and I work A LOT and I legitimately don’t have time to play games. They just need to coach their staff better or create a policy where “if there aren’t any contraindications then it’s usually fine” rather than making it sound like it’s up to whatever the provider thinks.

We took our son here for a checkup. The doctor was rude and condescending. Then she tells us we need to be sure to give our kid dairy. Apparently, she is still studying 1950's medicine and does not know the connection of respiratory issues and cancer linked to dairy intake. No wonder she looked so unhealthy herself.

We have been going to this office for almost two years, because Dr. Nason was recommended to us. However, she never saw my son and always the PA would treat him. I switched to another doctor earlier this year, because I was not happy about the PA forgetting some important health-related factors within the family. At the first well-child visit at the new doctor (we had two with Desert Shores Pediatrics the years prior), it came to light that our son has severe amblyopia and is near blind on the right eye. According to the pediatric ophtalmologist this is not a recent development and could (by all means, should) have been noticed at least a year ago. "Lazy Eye" I learn is treatable if diagnosed, however is also the most common cause of monocular blindness (if neglected).
