Hidden charges for visits are never a good thing. They will run tests and not even you warning and then your left with a fee that they will try to collect and if you dont pay well guess what you go into collections. Dr Lombard and Damra have both done this to me now. Not happy.

This location is below any expectation, constantly messing up my billing, have to talk to supervisor to even get them to try to correct it. They take no walk-ins for sick kids. They are always 10-15 minutes late, plus it takes doctor another 20-30 min to get in the room (this is based on last few appointments). Nurses and doctors are nice and knowledgeable once they are there. Scottsdale location is so much better (at least used to be couple years ago when i was visiting it).

Finding someone you trust to care for your newborn baby can be overwhelming. I knew right away that I was in good hands with Dr. Agarwal and his staff at Agave Pediatrics. Our little girl had a tongue and lip tie, diagnosed at birth by my midwife. Being a nurse I was surprised to have never even heard of this condition. I hesitated to have it surgically treated but after encountering some trouble with breast feeding we determined it would be best. Dr Agarwal and his staff were incredibly accommodating, the procedure was quick and easy, and the results were just as we had hoped, our feeding troubles resolved almost immediately. If your baby is tongue tied, you'll be in great hands with Dr. Agarwal. No pressure, just an honest evaluation and recommendations. We're overall very pleased with our experience at Agave Pediatrics and with Dr Agarwal. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for pediatric care. You can have peace of mind knowing you're in good hands.

My 3 kids are current patients here and im am very unhappy with my experience with the administrative/front office people i had to fill out new patient paperwork 3 seperate times because they kept losing the papers which had very sensitive information socials, address, insurance info etc. Besides just the paperwork they put in the wrong billing address for all three kids i never recieved a bill i spoke to a lady at the front desk she corrected the address for one child and not others i called billing to see why i havent recieved bills and asked to check the address and it was incorrect for two of my kids the lady than told me i will get a final notice and than my bills will be sent to collections when i never recieved notice of what the bills are. I will be finding a new doctors office who knows how to file their paperwork correctly and accurately.

The doctors are kind. However, the billing and scheduling departments are incompetent. They schedule you wrong so they can bill you more. They also do not take walk ins. So if you have a sick baby you have to make an appointment. They do not have an answering service so if you have a concern outside of business hours you cannot get your doctors advice. So you have to take your kid to urgent care or wait until you can get an appointment. Worst experience I’ve ever had with a pediatric office.

Been going to Agave for 4 years, since the day my daughter was born. Everything from lip and tongue tie procedures to well visits for both of my children. My daughter has been really sick so we scheduled an appointment for her. After waking my children from a nap, loading them up, and driving all the way to the deer valley location we were informed upon check in that the will not see her. Apparently there was a mix up with insurance and they decided the entire balance was due (even though they had already sent me to collections and insurance covered it). They REFUSED to see a sick child and sent us away. The urgent care was over a two hour wait and we couldn't get in. So now i have a sick 4 year old. WORST DOCTOR OFFICE EVER!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Money seems to be of more importance than the health of children. Durring the short time i was there i also witnessed someone getting turned away for some BS reason. AVOID THIS PLACE, THEY DO NOT CARE!!

We have had nothing but great experiences at Agave Pediatrics. The front office staff is kind and welcoming, but the real icing on the cake is Dr. Agarwal! Not only is he kind and caring, but he is also extremely professional and knowledgeable. I cannot recommend him enough! On a side note... the Deer Valley location has a beautifully decorated office that is fun and inviting. The detail they have put into their decor is exquisite, and our child looks forward to seeing it every time.

I took my kids here twice when the office first opened. Both experiences were terrible. From incompassionate staff and lack of service to being billed for services that were never provided. There are too many other pediatricians in this area to have to settle for this place.

Wondering why I hadn’t switched my kids to Agave sooner. I’ve always heard so many great things. The entire staff is FRIENDLY seems like they family. One lady called to confirm my son’s appointment and my boyfriend said “now you can tell she loves her job!” I finally got to meet Dr. Argawal when he performed the tongue tie procedure on my 2 month old and he was the most friendly doctor I’ve ever met! This place makes me feel very comfortable to take my kids for care. The only thing I don’t like is it seems to be a very popular busy place so appointment slots are VERY limited and they ran out of the shots my 2 month old son needed. (Took like 2 weeks for them to get them in) so my son was long overdue on his shots and had to start daycare without them. But overall the practice is much better here than Phoenix Pediatrics where I was taking them before.

I have a 3 month old son. Dr. Melissa Jones has been amazing!She listens to our concerns/questions and helps us get to the root of issues. She's also very sweet and thorough. Dr. Lombard performed my son's circumcision. She was super informative andd to earth. She helped us to feel confident in our decision and how to take care of our son after the procedure. We recently saw Damara V and she was great as well. She was very thorough in answering any concerns we had. She gave us great direction in how to handle the issues we've been having. The front staff always greets us with a smile and the MAs are nice and caring. It so hard to find a pediatric office where we're comfortable and feel like we're not another number. I love that we found everything we've been looking for in this office. Everyone has been amazing!

We have been going here since my daughter was born and I won't ever go anywhere else. We typically see Dr Lombard but have seen multiple providers and have really liked them all. Whenever my girly is sick they can always get her in same day. Whenever I call with questions I either am transferred to an MA or Dr Lombard calls me back the same day. I fully trust them and have been very pleased with the care my daughter receives here.

The guy at the front desk is extremely rude and very dismissive. I tried to ask 2 question and was interrupted twice by him. We arrived 30 mins early for paperwork and then had to wait 20 passed our appointment time to get called back. When asked if they would take the height in weight for my son(who had an appointment to get shots) they told me no. Very disappointed. Will probably fine a new pediatrician

Beautiful office, friendly staff and Dr Lombard is amazing. Such a laid back atmosphere and caring people. Its always concerning trying to fine the right office to take ones children and recently having moved to the west valley I thought it would be difficult but I chose to stick to Agave because if it aint broke why fix it. It would be great if they opened up an Avondale office so that I would be a bit closer but definitely worth the drive. Would recommend to all my friends.

Adorable office and friendly staff. Dr Jones and her assistant Tameka are just great! The girls in the front are all super sweet. The one draw back is they are extremely busy and had a bit of a wait but the waiting room is seperated by sick and well so not too much cross contamination. Love this place.

I called in to schedule my child as a new patient 4/5/19@4:28pm. After a lengthy hold, the lady on phone, she spoke to me like I was dumb for knowing anything about the business. If you look at the website, the offer many different services. Then said she would put me on brief hold. However after a lengthy hold I forward to the voicemail. I can’t believe the customer service! I only called this business because of the positive reviews recently left. Did I miss something!!!

My children have been patients here for about a year. The front office situation is appalling. You can't leave a message so you MUST call during business hours only or during a slow time when you might get someone on the phone. Due to an insurance mix up we got a random $22 bill that was apparently unpaid already threatening to send us to collections (seriously... a phone call would clear that up in a second. The wait times when we've had appointments have been awful (Cuz who doesn't like to wait 45 minutes for a scheduled appointment with a baby and a toddler. Basically I only go if absolutely necessary. Dr. Lombard is terrible so we ask to see whoever else might be there.

As a first time mom, I began researching pediatricians before my baby was even born. To be honest, I was turned off by the previous reviews and almost did not give Agave a chance based on the reviews I read. Around my 30th week of pregnancy I went to a meet and greet at Agave and met Dr. Agarwal. I have never even considered another pediatrician since then. I am completely in love with this practice. My daughter has been seen by nearly every physician, we have attended multiple locations and my daughter received a tongue tie revision as well. I even took advantage of their breastfeeding support classes. I would recommend any physician at Agave, at any location, with any procedure; from a well visit to a tongue tie and beyond. I know that my daughter receives the best care and I know that I am going to get the most honest and informed opinions from staff. They do not push medications or procedures that are unnecessary and their advice for my first few months of motherhood was completely invaluable. They build relationships with the whole family, parent and child, and I know my daughter is receiving the best care. Even my friends who chose other physicians saw Dr. Agarwal for their child’s tongue ties and immediately wanted to change pediatricians. It’s a shame that only those who are upset leave a review because this place is amazing. Don’t make the mistake of not giving Agave a call!

Very nice office. I was able to get my baby scheduled same day due to jaundice issues and my husband and I couldn't be happier. This place was able to work with my schedule as I had a c-section with some complications and have a few appointments of my own to go to. So grateful I found this place. The front desk girls were sweet and patient. I'm 100% sure I made the right choice coming here.

I had called to schedule a new patient appointment for my 17 year old special needs son. I had worked alongside these physicians when they were doing rounds at a local hospital and I felt that they were extremely competent to take my son. His former pediatrician was retiring and I wasn’t too thrilled with the other physicians in the practice, so I made the switch. During his first and only visit, I found out that they would not see him past the age of 18 (9 months away). Dr. Jones was the practitioner that saw him and she was completely unfamiliar with Down Syndrome, it was as if she was afraid or unsure of herself. It was an extremely awkward visit. While going through what labs to order, I had requested to have a test for a genetic mutation called MTHFR some as I and two of his 3 brothers were positive for some sort of variant and his father is deceased with an unknown status. This mutation affects how a body detoxifies itself and how it metabolizes vitamins, specifically B12 and folate. She stated it would be irresponsible of her as a GP to order such a test and he would need to see a geneticist (for a blood test). I told her I totally understood her stance, but what point is it to see a geneticist if he may be negative. Why couldn’t we do the test, and then refer out if positive? When my son was diagnosed with Down Syndrome post-natally at 4 months, his previous pediatrician tested him and then sent us to a geneticist. Dr. Jones appeared to be agitated and dismissed my plea. As a mother of 5 sons, one with Down Syndrome and one with autism, I would tell parents that are seeking a pediatric provider to completely avoid Dr. Jones at all cost; not only is she awkward and uncomfortable with a special needs child, she doesn’t listen to valid and realistic concerns of the parents to these children. One visit. No more. And I regret wasting my time, my son’s time and the resources (gas, money, my breath) on this provider. Do your due diligence parents!

I love this place I really do. Its not your regular doctors office its laid back and the staff and doctors are so nice and friendly. There's a new guy up front I've never seen before at the checking in area and he is a great addition to your office. The guy was so attentive and extremely friendly and clearly knew what he was doing. The girls up front are sweet and the nurses are the best. Dr Lombard is AMAZING she listens to all of my concerns and never rushes me out of any visit. I couldn't ask for a better place to take my child.

As I read all the reviews I understand that not everyone is going to have the same experience so I'm glad to share mine. First of all the office is super busy which I expect in pediatrics but I never have an issue getting in and seen in a timely manner. The last couple times I've been there I've dealt with the gentleman with the salt and pepper beard up front and he is probably the most delightful person I have met there. He is engaging and talks to parents like human beings and not just another person walking in the door. I have seen Damara and Dr Jones and they are amazing my two kids love her and I wouldn't have it any other way. I myself work in the medical field and read these reviews and it saddens me that 99% of people will review the bad and not the good so Agave Pediatrics you keep on doing whats best for our kids and people will continue to come to you. Great Job!!!

Our little one has had some issues since he was born. From a long labor, to jaundice, to a tongue tie, he's had a rough go so far. We're so grateful to the wonderful staff and doctors at Agave for their help and ability to get us in quickly. We highly recommend them, especially for tongue tie procedures because our little is already doing so much better and we're not even 24 hours post procedure yet.

This place is very nice. The reception staff is very sweet and the nurses are as well. I forgot my diaper bag and they have emergency mommy supplies (im a mom of a newborn and scatterbrained) It seems like its a very busy place but I didn't have to wait too long to be seen and all my questions were answered. I scheduled my next appointment and I was on my way. I wish my doctors office was this efficient. Overall I would definitely recommend this place to people. Definitely worth giving a try to Agave.

We just moved from Denver. I went to another pediatrician and I left crying. When we came here the whole office made us feel at home and comfortable. Dr. Lombard was amazing with my children! So glad we found this place.

Let me begin by saying how much I valued the customer service and patience with this office. We were initially scheduled with Dr. A to do my son's circumcision but he had to last minute travel out of town. Dr. Lombard does not like to circumcise patients who haven't been established in the office previously, but we were scheduled in error to see her in place of Dr. A. Rather than referring us out, Rueben was very understanding of the situation and they were able to get us in with a new patient appointment and circumcision all in the same day. Everyone was nice and understanding and they even wait after his procedure, for baby to have a poopy/wet diaper so they can show you how to properly change his diaper after the circumcision, before sending you home. I look forward to seeing this office in the future especially Dr. Lombard. She did a beautiful job and we finally feel we have received the service we deserve as new parents (considering the 2 precious pediatricians we saw we were not pleased with). We even had another mom waiting in the office with us attest to the service she received, which confirmed our decision in sticking with them as our sons provider. They are the absolute worst pediatricians I have ever seen. They are everything that is wrong with medicine--condescending, paternalistic, and incompetent. They don't listent to parents, they don't seem to respect children, and they make mistakes (they didn't know which immunizations to give a five year old). We are never ever going back.
