I disagreed with billing about a copay of 35.00.I was seen twice on the same day and the receptionist stated I didn't have to pay again. I have been waiting for a week for the office to get my referral.I even called twice.Friday I called and was told the referral can be done on line with no problem.But,until I settled the outstanding copay I was REFUSED TREATMENT.I NEEDED A STEROID INJECTION FOR A SCIATICA AND I'M IN EXTREME PAIN.I am glad I record my calls because this is not the proper way to treat patients. DR BURGER SHOULD BE PROUD OF HIS STAFF LOOKING OUT FOR HIS BEST INTEREST. DISGUSTING ETHICS. I HOPE HIS REPUTATION WAS WORTH THE 35 BUCKS.

My mother, Helene Bloemer, is a patient of Dr. Burgher. During the visit she felt completely verbally disrespected and harassed. During questioning of her pain management, she was asked if her physical therapist was certified. Dr. Burgher stated for her to not come back next month unless she had proof and not proof from a little old lady who signed a note for her. He continued to push this line of condescending remarks and laughed at her frustration. HIs behavior was completely inappropriate.
