As of right now I am giving four stars as I believe in giving people many chances. As I know I have needed many in life. I know what it feels like to wait in their office for almost 45 minutes to have the doctor come out and at least acknowledge I was in the room and told I would be taken care of. Finally the receptionist took my application and told someone would call me. After two months I finally called them. But I guess that one was lost some where. Then my doctors letter was lost twice. I have the girls name that PROMISED she was going to call me back as soon as she had it faxed within a week, but that didn’t happen either. I finally called to check after two weeks and they found my application and doctors letter. This has been MANY MANY MANY MONTHS just for them to get this far. I figure I am not high on there priority list because of my insurance but I am still a human being that deserves respect and the ONLY ONE THAT HAS GIVEN IT TO ME IS THE DOCTOR!!! I need this surgery for a few reasons. So I forgive how I have been treated and will smile and cannot wait to meet Dr. Clark. He seems so nice and he comes highly regarded. I have read the reviews and that now gives me hope that I have made the right decision. UPDATES WILL COME ALONG MY JOURNEY: Be blessed

Very annoying receptionist. They could not answer any of my questions and were very vague. She said the seminar is free but the consultation is $400 but said that’s the start of the plan.

I received a gastric sleeve on September 25, 2017. I would like to share some information I found out about Dr. Clark. He is the Chief, Bariatric Services, Providence Cancer Center. The surgical staff at Providence have a very high respect for him stating that his surgical skills are matched by none. The nurses on the Bariatric Ward said they so appreciate his detailed orders and progress notes which makes their job so much easier. I can tell you that during my appointments with Dr. Clark, he explains everything on a level that I can understand, and gives you a lot of material that is very easy to follow. His staff is so helpful and caring plus they love working for Dr. Clark. You can certainly tell he is very passionate about helping each patient have a better life. I am very grateful. Susie Jones

Fast sincere and efficient! Dr. Clark a master of his trade. I was totally scared of even the thought of surgery, tried several ways to talk my way out of it. If it wasn’t for his experience and persistent my condition would have gotten infected, and been in huge mess. Procedure went super smooth, no pain meds needed and my recovery fast enough to make it to moose camp!

BEST decision I've ever made in my life. Anchorage Bariatrics has been wonderful, great support staff dr. Clark is super awesome and very very informative and straightforward. On my operation day I felt that I was in great hands they made me feel comfortable and cared for. I had a speedy recovery with no complications and at my 3-month mark I was down 50 plus pounds with great support along the way.
