We love Dr Allen she is great with both of my kids. However, you can’t get anyone to answer the phone. I was on hold for 10 minutes today trying to make an appointment and that was my third time calling. I had to hang up for being on hold for so long!

The phone traffic Is TERRIBLE. They are TERRIBLE at communication. I was on hold for 47 minutes today only to be told that they would call me back. I was awaiting results for 3 WEEKS after they said they would notify me within the first week. Communication at this place is TERRIBLE.

Hold times are horrible, they gave our baby a vaccination shot but never put it on her record. The place was clean and the staff was nice. But this place just wasn't a good fit for us.

I absolutely loved this pediatric clinic and adore the staff, Nurses and Dr. Mekeisha Pickens! They’re amazing, very patient and can really help make their patients feel welcome which is a wonderful quality to when it comes to your child(ren). the clinic is very clean and organized. They completely made my daughter’s first doctor’s appointment in Alabama such an amazing and more personal experience for her than any of her visits at her pediatricians in San Diego. Back in CA most of her appointments seemed like a business transaction rather than a personal interaction, most of my questions were always answered vaguely and we always felt rushed out of there (except her last visit she had before we moved). Plus each clinic there were real filthy. So to have a sanitized clinic, and an outstanding doctor for my daughter to go to who offer so much more than guidance and information for my daughter’s needs is such a relief. I highly recommend to those who are from out of state or live near Bessemer, researching or looking for a new pediatrician for their child(ren) to try this location nd Dr. Pickens.

We love Children’s Pediatrics West in Mcadory. Best place ever. You always get in and out fast. When my kids are sick they always see them right away. We love Dr. Allen but all the other ones we have seen and they are all amazing. They all truly are good at what they do and passion for pediatric medicine. I have never seen pediatricians more thorough. I wish a Tuscaloosa had a pediatrics place as great as here for my friends down there.

Dr Abby Allen is amazing g the hole team is great when we need them for our kids they won't stop our daughter youngest they won't stop until she is back to normal even with her seizure recommend them to all kids they are a blessing and very nice and know what they r doing easy to talk to also and my kids love them leave dr office with smiles everyone
