Love everything about the facility and doctors, especially Dr. McCain. Love them so much that we moved from the BHAM area, but I commute back for appointments.

Usually don’t write reviews but feel this is necessary for other Moms. We switched to Mayfair because of a poor experience with another Peditrician. Dr Fettig is a great doctor and very nice person. She took a lot of time when she would see us. BUT here are the reasons we are changing. 1. Very rude front desk staff. When you call they are so disrespectful and act like it is a bother to set an appointment for your child. 2. Long wait times. And I mean over an hour or two just in the waiting room. Then when you actually get in a room it takes forever. 3. Unclean is an understatement. The bathrooms are disgusting. The rooms are also filthy. And so are the waiting rooms. 4. My child has been misdiagnosed mutiple Times. I was referred to an allergist when I didn’t think that was necessary but went. It was a a waste of time and my 22 month old was not allergic to anything, as I suspected. When she still didn’t get better for 4 months of going non stop to Mayfair I took her to an ENT, even though I was advised that wasn’t necessary. And what do you know- she needs tubes and a sinus surgery. We also ended up at Children’s ER because of issues that could have been taken care of in their office. It is so frustrating as a parent to experience care like this when you have a sick child. I truly hope this practice reads these reviews and takes them seriously.

Horrible experience and I haven't even been seen yet. The first patient repesentive seems to have a adituide and seems to have a problem with doing her job. As well as the front desk. This place is a joke stay away!!!!!

Approximately one year ago, my 80 year old mother received notification, by letter, that Dr. Patterson would no longer have hospital privileges at Saint Vincent's Hospital, for reasons that were not clarified. My mother had been a patient of Dr. Patterson's for over 20 years.

I have called multiple times today for someone to call me back about my daughters condition. They told me someone would call me back no call. The doctors are great but the staff are rude and DO NOT want to help you in anyway.

If you want your child to be seen when they are sick ? Don't bother to come on this office. I have many urgent care visits since I moved in this practice. If they are full they don't accomodate you. Wether your child is obviously very sick. Don't get me wrong Dr. Fettig is amazing but so sad I have to move to a different clinic. Another weird experience on this clinic when I called that morning for appointment and I can only make it to see in the afternoon due to work I was advised to call again @ 11 am to make an appointment instead for giving me an appointment already like I have all my time just to call them. I didn't get the point. Call back from the nurse it will take forever if you will not make a follow up. I don't make reviews normally but I need to voice this out for the other moms out there will not experience like I had. To the people managing this clinic always remember patient comes first!

I love this place. I came to Mayfair when I was a child and when I became pregnant with my first, I knew I wanted to use Mayfair. Now, 5 kids later we are still at Mayfair. Dr. Gilbert and her nurse are incredible and helpful!

This medical group is really great with our kids. We are able to get in when we need, and the care from all of the staff is fantastic. Parking is easy, and they have good hours. After hour calls are handled very professionally. We highly recommend them (especially dr McCain)!

Always a very long wait. The Dr. Is great but it takes a really long time to get in and out. I wouldn't suggest coming here. You may want to check with your provider first.

After what I am sure was a very long day, Dr. McCain was still sure to be just as patient and caring with my daughter and myself at the end of the day. I always feel heard. Yes, there was a bit of a wait, but that's becaue I know she is giving all her patients and their caregivers the individual attention they need. She and her nurses are wonderful.

Can’t say enough great things about Dr. McCain! She is an easy-going, fun doctor that kids love (my 2 year old asks to go see her all the time) and she always takes the time needed to answer questions, etc. Occasionally the wait times get lengthy, but that’s par for the course in pediatrics. We have seen almost every other doctor in the group at times and have been pleased with them all. A great group!

We've been going to Mayfair since my son was born 8 years ago. While I absolutely love the medical staff, dealing with the front office staff is horrendous. Thankfully we rarely have to go, but it's to the point of considering changing practices rather than have to deal with the rudeness of the front office. We are simply trying to get an immunization form for my son to attend summer camp and it's a complete nightmare since Children's took over. I hope the doctors are seeing benefits to the change, because the patients definitely are not.

We love Dr. McCain. The wait can be a bit long, but generally that is when they are doing us a favor and working us in. We couldn't have asked for a better dr. Our experiences with the other doctors have also been good.

Dr. Russell has been our pediatrician for 8 years now. All three of my children love and listen to her because she has built such loving relationships with each of them. Mayfair has consistently provided short wait times and excellent care.

My children will no longer go here due to the disrespect from the front office gremlins. Call and try and get an appointment they are full so go to urgent care and they won't send a referral because they want you to come in. This place has really gone down hill. Never again.

Actual medical staff are great. They appear to be competent, are courteous, and willing to answer any questions you may have. Front desk doesn't really seem to care about anything. Wait times are nigh unto forever. Seriously though, wait in the waiting room, get called back, talk to nurse for 5min, wait in procedure room, and hope that the doctor will remember you're there. Lost a star because I've been well over an hour with about 45min being just waiting and one for the front desk's indifference. Edit: How to train your Dragon was playing on loop. Arrived near the end of the movie and left around the same time. Visit took approximately 138minutes.
