Really great office and staff, super clean as well! I was really impressed with the Doctor, very friendly and understanding Dentist. His assistants also go above and beyond to make your experience a great one and to make you feel comfortable when you are nervous. They offer 3rd party finance options , like care credit, which is great. (BUT if your credit SUCKS, well that’s really YOUR problem you can’t blame them for your bad life decisions.) They explained everything so well and let me ask as many questions as I wanted. I liked how they went over all the treatment I needed but let me start little by little. I am very happy with the work I have received! Thank you Aspen!

Was easy to get appt. And they called to see if I wanted a earlier appointment since someone had cancelled. When I got there it was nice and clean. And the staff was great and the dentist told me what I needed done. Teeth are in bad shape but wasn't disrespected for that anyways came up with a treatment plan it was out of my budget but they was trying to help save my teeth. Anyways we talked and done some adding and subtracting till I finally got the price I could afford and the treatment i needed. Great experience. Would recommend to anyone March 10 2017

I have alot of dental issues right now. When i went for my first appointment that everyone was so supportive and caring. Great place to go. They diffently will work with billing unfortunately right now I still have to save for what I need done but will go no where else:)
I am writing this for my stepson. He lost a filling Friday night and was in pain. He called Aspen Dental and he wanted to make a appt asap. Since he hadn't been seen since 2015 they said he would need a full set of x rays. And the soonest they could get him in was in 10 days. I have never in my life had a dentist make you wait a full 10 days to be seen when you have lost a filling that they did and your in pain. He won't be going back to them. They are also rather pricey. They also said they DO NOT do emergency visits. Hmmm the main web site says they do emergency visits.
Broke a tooth & needed an emergency appt, they were able to get me in the same day. They did a complete exam, x-rays & evaluation. I was very impressed with the entire staffs efficiency, knowledge, kindness & concern during the entire process. Thank you Aspen Dental.
DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE REVIEWS! They are for Aspen Dental (the franchise) - not just this Prattville location. The people who make the appointments are in a separate location, despite the fact that only one number for the place is listed. So I was quoted the WRONG price over the phone. I don't have dental insurance. I find it cheaper just to pay cash for preventive care. So whenever I make an appointment I always ask for the cash price, so that I know what I'm going to pay. I was told my son's appointment would cost $60. After the appointment I was told to pay $260. I asked for a print out of the costs. After a lot of back and forth, they called their appointment line and found that I had been told the wrong price. But they still didn't charge me the quoted price they just charged me $125. NEVER GOING BACK. Very unprofessional establishment!

This morning I went there as a new customer. The front desk receptionist is a joke. Phones rang approximately 25 times straight, just to have it finally hang up and repeat 2 more times. So about 75 times the phone rang, while I stood at the counter. She was busy in the back doing who knows what. My appointment was at 8. I arrived at 7:40. Wasn’t even spoken to till about 5 after 8, only to be told to have a seat, and she would be with me soon. Finally get my paperwork filled out and turned in...it’s now like 8:15. So 35 minutes to check in. Then two people come in after me......and after 8 am, and they took them back first. Hello....my appointment was at 8 I left this joke of a dental clinic and went to Affordable Dental in Montgomery. I received terrific service there and my denture cost less than half for the plus dentures, vs what I was going to pay for the cheap ones at Aspen. Save yourself the trouble.....avoid Aspen Dental. They suck.

The staff was very professional and helpful in my teeth issues. How ever I did feel a bit over sold on everything. But I do know that they are only trying to help me get my teeth in better shape, just unable to spend the money right now.

First visit to Aspen exceeded every expectation I could have imagined for dental care. The entire staff was both thoughtful and efficient. They both listened and gave advice in a balanced way that I greatly appreciated. Was expecting to wait weeks for a treatment plan and not only got it same day but we were able to get started and map out future appointments. Highly recommended!

I went in for tooth pain and I was given a treatment plan for things I didn't even agree with. My tooth wasn't fixed at time of my appointment since the bill was well over 6 grand in which they recommended. I was told I could apply for financial help but 6 grand for everything was ridiculous. I went to another dentist same day for a 2nd opinion and turns out I didn't have half of the issues they recommended on me for treatment. I also had my tooth fixed that same appointment unlike at Aspen dental. They state they are affordable but who has 6 grand to drop on treatment. They tried to shove Invisalign down my throat multiple times as well when I stated I didn't have 4 grand for treatment for that. They still kept pressing it which really made me a bit aggravated. So they gave me a 6 grand bill plus the additional treatment for Invisalign which was about 10 grand and they acted like I'd agree to everything and tried pushing me to sign the paper work. After leaving I was dissatisfied and went elsewhere as stated. My treatment was more than half the cost for treatment and guess what it was fixed! Instead of a 6-10 grand bill I paid 200 dollars. I would not rec. This place at all they r money hungry individuals and will try to rob you for every penny you have. Oh and not to mention if u ask for your records to be sent else where u have to call multiple times and it still may not get sent.
I went wanying my teeth clraned. Took a thousand xrays. Had a hygienist look at my teeth, then the dentist. Then talked about the issues, and then the cost. I JUSY WANTED MY TEETH CLEANED! I left and didn't have them cleaned, it was consultation. When i called to make my appointment, no one said that is what it would be, i went thinking my teeth would be atleast cleaned, and then would talk about the possible issues found.

It's an okay place. The staff is great and really want to make you feel comfortable. Sadly they are way too expensive. The work I would need done and the dental coverage I have I would still have a lot of money to pay out of pocket. I left in tears knowing I would never be able to have a perfect smile again. I left knowing that I will never have enough money and never be comfortable with my mouth again. I hate that dental is the most expensive thing. Sadly I would never be able to pay 10 grand for work.

We liked the staff but were charged for Fluoride that we were not asked if we wanted. When we checked out we were told the Fluoride was extra. I want to know upfront what I'm being charged! Not coming back.

My first visit I was there for over 3 hours. The dentist started looking in my mouth and told me I had a spot that may form a cavity and suggested I get it filled. So I got it filled. Days later it began hurting really bad. I called them and they told me to give it a couple more days. The pain didn’t go away so I called them back and scheduled an appointment. She took a look and said nothing was wrong. And if it keeps hurting to come back. The pain never went away and it got very sensitive. Needless to say, I will NOT be going back. They are just trying to make money and not care for the patients!

Well I have gingivitis so I have to go frequently for cleaning and Nicole is very thorough and caring she explains everything that needs to be done and how to do it.
They recommended a deep cleaning, and the cost is $2,964.00. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. And, when I mentioned that I would take the regular cleaning, (that my insurance covered) they denied me.
The dental hygienist was both gentle and very professional. Best one I've ever seen. I recommend to anyone who wants a painless and pleasent experience to go here!

I came because free exam and X-rays plus a cleaning. The staff was very friendly but 2 things. 1) it was 1 1/2-2hrs just for X-rays and exam. After the exam they have you talk to a fininace person for how much your treatment will be. 2) might get exam/cleaning free but it seemed expensive with unnecessary treatments. For my cleaning plus other treatment was 3x what I have paid at other dentists. One of there suggested treatments I never heard of so I called another dentist and asked about it and they never heard of such a thing! I am going elsewhere for my cleaning and get a second opinion.

Although I did have to spend several hours in the office due to a very short staff, I was very pleased with the dentist . I believe it was Dr.Emmons. He was the only dentist on staff that day and was really juggling a heavy patient volume. My tooth extraction was a very difficult one but Dr. Emmons was steadfast in his efforts. I was pleased. Office staff was average for a medical office.
I am not a person who is always comfortable going to the dentist, but I will say that Aspen Dental changed that, I was very impressed with the staff....especially Ms. Nikki, she is was very sweet and made me feel very comfortable, answered all my questions that I had, and definitely made the visit more bearable. Dr. Emmons was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail so I could understand. Thank you so much Aspen for changing my whole outlook on going to the dentist.

They didn’t give me the service plan that was original quoted. They wanted me to get a tooth extracted and I refused because it not giving me no problem. They agreed to do the bottom and I have one needs a filling and the service plan was to fill that tooth before they do the partial and they disputed that. I know what they told me.

Horrible experience at the Montgomery Eastchase location. I would not recommend this location to anyone. I get there 15mins early as requested, the receptionist sits there 25mins making personal calls you could hear her conversation in the lobby.She didn’t acknowledge me or other guest in the lobby not even to say I’ll be with you in a moment. The technician taking the X-rays was horrible I have cuts in the bottom of my mouth from the force she used to jam the equipment into my swollen mouth. They hygienist was great not very personable but did her job well. I went in on Thursday due to an abscess, after seeing the dentist I HAD TO ASK for antibiotics, I was not given anything for pain or at least given an anti inflammatory to help reduce the swelling. If that wasn’t enough the office manger who was suppose to go over treatments, payments, schedule next visit ect had left for the day. I was informed that I would be contacted by phone on Monday. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Love the staff; very friendly and accommodating. I am completely satisfied with the experience, personal concern for my needs, and work being done by my dentist Dr. Burt. My one complaint is the time it takes to get crowns done. Aspen Dental contracts with a lab that is out of state and consequently it takes weeks to get crown work completed.

The staff are very professional, clean, and very nice. I have tons of anxiety about the dentist but they were so accommodating to my needs and emotions, best experience with a dentist yet.
Enjoyed your people. The dentist was nice and professional as were the assistants. Where I decided not to use you was when I received an estimate for cleaning my teeth and a diagnosis of having gingivitis(spelling). I have been going to the dentist on a regular basis for the last 40 years. The cost to clean my teeth has always been between $75 and $125. None of the dentists have ever found gingivitis or any other disease in my teeth. Let alone wanting to charge $525 to clean them. I will not be returning to your practice.

After getting 3 fillings my 15 yr old son texted me while he was still in the dentist chair "def the best dental experience so far" - Hallelujah! The last place we went to (a children's dentist in the same city) didn't numb him when "fixing" his cavity(s). My only gripe is... they don't advertise their business hours correctly. You have to find the true open dates and hours out by calling - and their true days and hours aren't as convenient as advertised. Marketing area could use a boost of integrity.

My Third experience was more positive. Staff seemed friendlier this time, well at least they looked up at you when you approached the desk. The doctor seemed more focused on me and listened and even explained the adjustments will take several attempts before the permanent denture. I didnt know that you could come in without an appointment if the denture is uncomfortable. That was told to me by the doctor and a patient in the waiting room AWESOME!!
Unacceptable service. I have pain in two teeth and scheduled an appointment for an initial exam. When I showed up for the appointment, I was told that it had been canceled because I never responded to the text message the day before confirming the date and time. My phone number was correct in their system, but I never got the message. They would not fit me in that same day at all. How nice of them to give me some notice ahead of time that this was the practice...or work with me after to get my issues taken care of...so glad I burned vacation time to get absolutely nothing done to relieve my pain.

Tried to overcharge me $400 on cleaning teeth, lower, and 3 cavities. Called Delta Dental and they made me aware. $900 was the up front cash payment for service rendered. $500 is a great plenty to clean 1/2 my teeth(top is denture) and fill 3 cavities.

Came in because of tooth pain and all they did was look at my teeth and do the most painful X-rays that caused serious sores in my mouth all while reminding me that if I wanted the free exam I had to do the X-rays. The tech doing my X-rays kept gagging me then looked like she was completely shocked when I swore because of how badly it hurt. NEVER coming back here again.

I love this dentist! All the staff are great workers and have amazing attitudes! Gutierrez is seriously the best dentist in town! I got a tooth pulled at a different dentist and even with laughing gas, 2 numbing treatments the pain was awful I was almost in tears because it took almost 30 minutes to pull. So when I had to get another tooth pulled I thought it was the end of the world especially since aspen dental didn't have laughing gas. They assured me it would be OK and I braced my for horrible pain. It didn't even take Gutierrez 2 minutes to pull the tooth! I didn't even know it was out until they started sitting me up and I asked if there was a problem or something. Nope! He was just that good no pain no tears no crunching noise from the tooth being pulled out. Even after the numbing wore off it was a little discomforting but nothung to bad! Thank you aspen dental! I will ALWAYS refer my friends and family to you!

Over all my experience with Aspen was VERY pleasant. I could not have asked for them to have been any nicer. They were very friendly and personable. They answered any questions that I had without hesitation. All of the employees were very knowledgeable about anything I asked about. Heck, they even gave me a discount on my new dentures. The only problem I had was that I wanted my new dentures quicker. I was actually hoping to get them the same day but they explained that they wanted to make sure the fit was EXACT, so that I wouldn't have any problems with them. I only wish the last place I went had done that. I highly recommend Aspen Dental to anyone who needs new dentures or ANY sort of dental work.
Im writing this review for my sister- who asked her name not be mentioned because after a year she is still trying to get her teeth fixed- She is very displeased with the Office manager Ciarra, who has been very unprofessional- rude, and not very bright! My sister has had a horrible experience since she started last year, her dentures and implants have never fit properly- her first set looked like horse teeth- which they tried to convince her that they were the right ones- and they were horrible - all the mistakes and she was confronted recently after her 5th visit in the last two months that she was not charged enough money, and that she owed more money if she wanted to continue to see the dentist to try and fix the issues that were caused by Aspen Dental - she has paid them over $5000. cash so far- and she is still not able to wear her teeth, because they do not fit properly - If you want awesome service and beautiful teeth in a short time- see Three Lakes Dental and Oral Surgeon in ALex City- Do not ever got to Aspen Dental in Prattville
The entire staff was very friendly and welcoming. They explained everything step by step so I knew what was going on and about to happen. The dentist was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. My teeth were in bad shape and not once did they treat me like I was a terrible person for that. I was never blamed for how my teeth were nor did I get lectured for it. Will definitely be going back and will highly recommend them to family and friends!

Went in as a new patient. You know the "FREE" X-RAYS, EXAM" WHAT A JOKE!!!!! They made a dental plan up. $100 for electric toothbrush!!!!LOL Here is the kicker, they sent me a bill for $71. for the " free x-rays and exam". Don't fall for it.
I was treated with respect and kindness. As I am still undergoing the treatment plan its a little early to rate the success or effectiveness but every attempt was made to minimize any pain and there was very little. The dentist and the everyone else took time to answer my questions. I would recommend this office to others who are in need of dental care.
Don't go to this dentist!!! At my first appointment they said I needed two cleanings and six fillings. At my first cleaning the hygienist told me I needed a prescription mouthwash, which I bought. At my second cleaning I told the hygienist that the mouthwash had stained my teeth and she tried to sell me an expensive whitening treatment. When I went for some of my fillings the dentist told me that I needed on $2000 root canal on one of my cavities instead of a filling. At that point I sought a second opinion, and not only was a root canal not necessary, my new dentist said I only needed two fillings! These people are only concerned about making money.
Everyone was very friendly and professional. When I became emotional they were very patient and did everything they could to help me calm down. They listen to my concerns and made sure I understood and was comfortable with all that had to be done to my mouth to ensure I had a healthy mouth and beautiful smile.

AVOID- new patients wait over an hour just to be seen, and my whole first experience took almost 4 HOURS and they did NOTHING other then waste my time. I was shopping around for a new dentist so I asked a few questions via phone calls. Apparently that's a problem with this place because the clerk wrote on my chart "asks a lot of questions may be a problem patient". Very unprofessional. Awful place.

The staff was friendly and got seen in a timely manner for being an emergency work-in. The only problem I have is, I broke a tooth off at work Thursday, got the emergency appointment on Friday and then was told after I got there they wouldn't do anything to my tooth until Monday. Roots are exposed and it is right up front. Was told they were closing early and they couldn't work me in to have it done. That just seems a little like they didn't care about my situation. So now, I'm going through the weekend without any relief and have to go back Monday for a fix to the tooth. One would think that they would have stayed and worked me in since my roots were exposed and it was causing me pain. Edit: Got seen on the 24th and everything went good. Staff was still super friendly and the dentist was very good. Did a root canal and temporary crown and I was done in about an hour and a half. Very satisfied with the work

The only negative I have is that I wasn't told it would take almost 2 hours for my first visit. Wonderful "spa like" atmosphere helps with jitters too!

I was really at my wits end with my teeth and the expense of on going work that would take the rest of my life getting them fixed! Just looked in the yellow pages and called Aspen. I felt like they really cared about my situation ♡ When I decided exactly which direction I wanted to go then they wasted no time helping me get financing and scheduled for the work. The people were very nice. They answered any questions that I had. I didn't have insurance so they mentioned a dentist in town who takes medicaid for extractions. The exam and xrays were free and they they told me what I needed to do.

They said I needed a crown, in hindsight I did not, and after having them do the crown 3 different times, it's still not right. My first appt with a different dentist they did x-rays and noticed a ledge/hole from my crown not being placed correctly. My husband has had the same experience. They filled one cavity of his and he went back once to get it fixed because they did it wrong. The second time it was still wrong and he can't eat on that side. They make you pay before anything is done to your teeth and don't tell you what your paying for.
There is no payment plan. That does not help those living paycheck to paycheck. When you need dentures in order to eat you guys don't help at all. The doctor was good but he did not pull my tooth that broke in half and that is why I went there. I will not be going back even if my life depended on it.

Had a REALLY GREAT experience yesterday (Tuesday), from the front desk receptionists (Kennedy & Rebecca), the x-ray technician (Veronica), dental hygienist (Nikki), doctor (Dr Gutierrez), & office manager (Brandy) had me at ease. Was treated with respect & answered all questions. Able to have prescribed treatments started today (Wednesday). Will have the last treatment tomorrow (Thursday).
They explained everything and helped in any way they could. They did more then I thought they would. My first visit was for an exam and they checked every inch of my teeth and letting me know wat can be done. Staff is really nice and helpful.

The dental insurance plan my work offers is ridiculous so that wasn't an option but I haven't gone to a dentist in a longer time than I'd like to admit.. and I knew it was way past my time! Aspen dental seemed like the best option for someone witbour insurance considering the first appt being free . First, the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the billing lady made me feel like she was duping me and I had some major concerns with how the fees felt rather sneaky.. I needed my visit to be financed and before showing me the detailed report of how much everything was, the lady ran my credit and got my financed for WAY MORE than I needed/wanted including a $135 toothbrush!!!! I was livid. However, Dr. Vemaraju redeemed Aspsn tenfold!! I have always been terrified of the dentist despite being in the healthcare field, but she has completely changed my outlook. She was kind, patient, explained everything thoroughly and took the time for me. I highly suggest going here if you, like me, have taken too long to get back to the denfisd because of a fear. Just double check your bill before paying or bejnf financed. Thanks Doc!!

Everyone at the Idaho Falls office were wonderful. I was pretty scared and they made me feel at ease. Dr. Gutierrez was skillful, gentle and easy on the eyes. ;) lol His hygienist was very knowledgeable and so nice. I highly recommend everybody that works in the Idaho Falls office to any of my friends and family. Thank you for a pleasant visit.
They poked my gums until they bled and told me I had gingivitis. They also said I needed two crowns and four fillings. I just had been to my own dentist and had no cavities. I just went in for an upper partial.

I had a great experience at Aspen Dental with some serious old age teeth issues. I was able to schedule and get in on the same day. The staff was kind and efficient. I was given a thorough examination with state of the art x-rays and all my options were explained to me in much detail. I hope to have the work needed done soon.
I really did love this office until Collin Grendham from the Montgomery office came to cover for the office management. It is totally unacceptable for you all to even allow someone as mediocre to manage anything let alone a professional office. He is rude, nonchalant, inconsiderate, and just what you should not have to deal with when you do business with a company. You all need to be careful with who you all decide to bring into the office because this 1 bad apple has ruined the entire bunch!
I went to Aspen after seeing a different dentist in the area. The first dentist only gave me 2 options. Both being more than I could afford even with financing. When I came to Aspen they knew my financing problem and together we made a decision that we both could agree on. Not only did they have empathy they also were able to get me right in. I knew what they were doing how much it cost and walked out felt better! The staff is super fun, nice and professional! I'm so glad I went even though someone else had a bad experienceand told me not to go. I tried for myself and couldn't be happier!

I will say everyone was sweet as pie,,,they treated me with respect,,my only complaint was I told them I had not a lot of money to spend and yet they had me come in telling me they could help me,,,they wanted me to pay $130. A month for5yrs for uppers,,really,,I told u we r retired and I am on disability and I don't have5yrs of payments,,,there is a place in NJ, affordable dentures,,,they have 3 prices $350. Or$650 or $950...they pull them and do them the same day,,,now that is helping seniors and poor people ,.oh and they tell u on the phone they don't waist ur time bringing u in to cry all the way home because they just made u feel even poorer,,,if ur poor like us don't go here,,,,if u have money no problem,,,,just my delima,,,tks

Managed to get an emergency appt, and everyone was awesome. The staff was very friendly, very helpful, and patient. I personally have severe anxiety when it comes to dentist due to several bad experiences. But when I went here every one was so understanding and made sure I was ok the whole time. This was the first time in 10 years I didnt have an anxiety attack while sitting in a dentist office in 10 years. I also appreciated how up front they were about the care needed, the many options to my care plan, and all the financial aspects about it.

Aspen dental is amazing. Staff is very patient and professional. The Drs are amazing. I got my wisdom teeth pulled all four at once & I admit I was scared but they walked me through it all, I healed pretty quick and even with pain here & there, they got me an appointment to be seen quickly. Apsen Dental was not only fast, super convenient, and everyone’s bedside manner was exceptional but also I was educated about my mouth and in every step of what the Denstist and Hygienist were doing. It was a unique experience, bar none! I left informed, comfortable, with several options to choose from and a step by step plan for my mouth treatment. It was an amazing experience and nice to see an office in this town that has embraced technology and progressive ideas to an archaic And dated industry. Aspen Dental is a must go!!!
I won't trust this place!! They tried to charge for a $135 toothbrush without my wife's consent. Fortunately, she asked for a breakdown before making the payment. On top of that, they charged $103 dollars out of pocket for a cleanup!! There are definitely places that offer the same level of service for a SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper price.

I am so pleased with Aspen Dental Elktom, MD location. Everyone from the hygienist to the dentist to the office manager was amazing. They truly care about their patients amd give you the best treatment plan available and they even care about price!! It’s very hard to find dental offices willing to work with you price wise, but their team made it work for me. I can’t wait to get my new teeth in a couple weeks. I can’t say enough great things about aspen dental.

All the staff was excellent. They were thorough even though the waiting room was full. The only complaint I have is the lady at the front desk. I was told they were giving me a special mouth wash before I left. I came back to get it, asked the lady about it she said no I couldn’t have it bc I didn’t have a procedure. I asked her if she would ask the dr. Or could I speak with someone else. She rudely shook her head and said “absolutely not” it’s a shame bc everyone was so caring but the one bad apple spoiled my whole experience. Overall staff was great except the greeter

Though this was my 1st visit to Aspen Dental in MD, the office in FL was exceptional which is why I chose to visit this practice. I was able to get an immediate appointment as well as have a thorough exam and all the financial responsibilities explained in detail. The office was very clean and the staff was so warm you felt comfortable from the receptionist to your exit. I’m glad this office proved just as exceptional as the office in FL.
My daughter Holly went to the Prattville office to have her wisdom teeth out. She also needs a crown and some fillings. The deductable quote was close to $1100 dollars which was paid by credit card promptly. We go in there yesterday for them to do a treatment associated with her cleaning and they say her bill will be an extra $700 because they codes it wrong and they will NOT do any more work until it is paid. WHAT?!?! Basically they are holding the additional funds hostage until more $ is taken out of pocket. It's their mistake, they should make it right. They also are VERY hard to get hold of by phone and change appointments without talking to a person( the supposed voicemail that was left was nonexistent. Her dad lives out of state but they SAID they called him to make her appointment earlier for her wisdom teeth when they had her number!) Very very bad business practices and shady insurance claims. I do not recommend this office. Only reason I'm leaving one star is you cant go any lower!! Someone at Aspen Dental cooperate needs to make this right or I'll post a negative review everyplace I can find to leave a review. The insurance holder is Allan Ogden of Frankfort Ky and the patient is his daughter Holly. Since they are NOT a member of the BBB I cant make a claim with them but the state insurance office is my go to Monday.
I work at a contact center which is what I told them before even coming to my appt , I read the bad reviews but due to my serious tooth pain and me already missing four days of work I still proceeded with my appt due to the urgency now I was tardy for my appt which was my fault but I tried to confirm my appt time and was put on hold when calling to confirm I got no email confirmation nor text so when I had to wait for not a long time I was fine ..... so I get my X-rays Which was a difficult experience in it self but I pushed through ..... the Hygienist came to To look at my mouth which I was also fine with she asked the normal questions and kept repeating were going to need about three more appts to take care of your full needs I replied okay but Today I’m just here for my dental Pain ....... the dentist came in there and asked me Repeats question and then checked my teeth ..... by checking I mean Tapping each tooth, when I said it wasn’t painful at the moment he said ..... “I’ll refer you to a orthodontist” I was ANGRY THE moment he made the statement ... you have to do what ? He got loud with me and said I might’ve cut my gums With some Chips or sharped food I was eating .... And this causes pain for a week ???? It was BullCRAP this dentistry office is Sad Unprofessional and does not care for patients I wasn’t needy rude or Rushing either I was patient open minded and was tolerating my pain I’ve missed $400 being in pain I’m not faking anything or taking a Darn referral I left in tears With Nothing Else To Say to them

I had 21teeth removed the first time and she lacked the strength or knowledge on how to remove the last 2 and sent me home with nothing for pain just antibiotics. Had to go bk in about a month to have the last 2 removed and 2 months later I'm still having bits and pcs of teeth coming out. Now as far as dentures go...they fly out of your mouth every time you speak unless you use half a tube of fix a dent.

I loved my time at aspen dental. I'm new to the area and this was my first initial appointment. They were very informative and friendly (I had my 2 and 3 year old daughters with me). The only con is that it takes pretty long. My appointment was at 10:45am. I was aboutt 10min late and did not leave until around 1pm. However I find that to be worth it.

Waste of time. I scheduled an emergency service appointment for a filling or tooth extraction which was over a week away. When contacted to confirm appointment days later and still a week away I was told no emergency service would be provided. I was told by 5 operator's that on my emergency appointment day I would be examined and then would be rescheduled for the emergency service.
Going to the dentist has always been crazy and kinda confusing. Aspen Dental didn't even give me a chance to ask a silly question. I was was literally wiped away with a whole new experience. This dentist appointment was fun and jumpy if you will. There staff most definitely made sure I was comfortable. It didn't hurt that this office was full of attractive women.

I went in with a bad tooth ache and it took forever to get anything done. I didn't have insurance and they treated me like trash. When they figured out what was wrong they sent me to the finance person. Didn't try to give me anything for pain all they wanted was about 3000 for fixing it. Very uncaring place would not go to this place for nothing. Very costly and treat people like not important.

I was very pleased with my first visit to see about getting my dentures relined. The doctor look mouth and the x-rays for the bone denisty and looked my dentures over very carefully. Then said that could be relined. He wants to make a mold of them to show his office how dentures should look like.

The office staff was kind and the office was nice but when I went for a new patient visit it took entirely too long and they tried to send me out the door without even doing a cleaning. Before they would even agree to a cleaning on my teeth, they made me talk with there financial consultant...all I wanted were things 100% covered by insurance! My husband also went for an appointment (who does have some significant dental issues) and they refused to even touch his teeth unless he agreed to a $1,800 treatment plan (after insurance benefits) which he just did 1 yr ago. They won’t even clean his teeth to help with his gum swelling... seems to me that is very neglectful! And I felt like the company in general is just about making a profit off of us. Needless to say I won’t be returning and will definitely be getting a second opinion on the treatment plan... patients have a right to make their own healthcare decisions and I can’t believe that proper treatment in this case would be no care at all...

I have had the worst experience I've ever had after i paid for and received my dentures from aspen Dential Prattville, al. I purchased THE BEST dentures they offer and i have teeth fall out of them and now i have a mess. The one tooth will not stay in, keeps falling out, front tooth at that, now my wife dropped them off for me because I'm in a wheel chair and couldn't go and try wouldn't take them because the technician was at lunch, this was the only time she could go and I'm going in the hospital for a week now i want be able to eat. I told the office manager this and she told me that was not HER PROBLEM. I've got a mess.....

My son had to go to the emergency room because of a infected tooth he was in the most incredible pain, broke my heart to watch him literally screaming in agony. I called aspen and they fit him immediately. I'm so grateful to that doctor for making the time for him. Thank you for caring
Went in for an appointment at 7:00 that morning to see about getting a temporary crown placed until I could get to my primary dentist because my permanent had broken, was signed in and told to wait. After sitting in the lobby an hour I went back to the front desk and asked when I would be seen the lady at the front desk checked and said it should be soon now. Sat in the lobby another 45 min before being called back. Was told I had all types of things wrong with my mouth ($1300 dollars worth) that my dentist hadn’t caught. This was ironic because I have a very good respected dentist and have been seeing him for the last 10 years faithfully and he wouldn’t have missed all that. Anyways, I was going to go ahead with the service that they described but wanted to know what my payments through financing would be just in case I wanted to switch dentist. They said they couldn’t tell me unless I actually signed up for the financing and they said they could cancel it before a certain time frame without me having to pay anything should I change my mind about seeing them. WRONG!!!!! I ended up getting a bill even though I canceled the appointments I had before hand and got charged $30 for oral cancer screening (which I knew about)on top of $17 in finance charges that I wasn’t aware I would be charged. I wasn’t even told I would get a bill through this third party service comenity. It’s not even worth going back to they office to explain this because I know they will not give me my $17 back it would be a waste of time, but for anyone reading this that not sure they want service here do not sign any financing papers until your absolutely sure or you will be stuck paying financing charges on services you didn’t even have!!!!

I was a first time patient with a very painful broken tooth with abcess. From the moment i walked in i was treated with kindness and understanding. The exam was very thorough and the staff was so knowledgeable with every question i had. The dentist was so gentle and i felt very comfortable. They also really worked with me for the cost of my procedure and I'm very satisfied. I highly recomend Aspen dental to anyone. I am a truly pleased patient!
Let me start out by saying that I do NOT do the dentist until I can't handle the pain anymore, due to a very traumatic dental experience when I was younger. With that being said, on Wednesday Dec. 5th I went to Aspen Dental in Elkton, MD. I had never been there before and was a ball of nerves, clammy hands, high blood pressure, the whole 9 yards. Everyone there, from the front desk on was just AMAZING! Very soft spoken, very polite, PATIENT & UNDERSTANDING! I did not expect to get emotional while explaining my phobia and dental issues with the Dr, yet I did. She and the tech were extremely patient and caring. They told me to take my time, asked if I needed a few mins to myself etc. There was no judgement here, no rushing to get me out the door and a new patient in the seat.. I wasn't just a number to them. I was a person with feelings and fears, and they did everything they could to make me feel comfortable. They went over all my options with me and the process, gave me an extensive breakdown of all the costs involved. It was a GREAT experience for me and I am very thankful that I chose that office. I would highly recommend them to anyone that needed dental work done.
This office can screw up both the dental work and the billing better than any dentist office I have ever seen. Dental work is unpleasant enough without this kind of ineptness.

10:00 appointment wasn't seen until 12:00, f the didn't leave until 3:00 Overpriced!!! Told me they were in network with my insurance provider but quoted me completely wrong coverage. Feel like they are money hungry and try to rip people off. My friend and I both left and will go somewhere else.
When I made my fiance's apt the woman misspelled his name and when I spelled out my fiance's first and last name 3 times she finally got the spelling correct on the 3rd time. Which was frustrating. I did like that was able to start an account and fill out the paper on line. I was shocked when we got to the office I had to fill the papers out again. I explained that I did it online and the front desk clerk stated it did not take, which did not make sense but ok. I realized the papers had my fiance's name misspelled and listed him as a female. So after spelling his first and last name 3 times was waste of my time bc it was still entered wrong. After waiting for 45 min after the apt time my fiance was finally called back. I did explain to the front desk bc of the name mix up he will have 2 accounts and the clerk looked at me like I 2 heads and kept on saying oh I fixed it. After explaining twice that I started an account with the correct spelling the night before and the clerk changing the wrong spelling to the correct spelling that is 2 accounts. I finally asked her to take a look and what do you know there are 2 accounts. After 2 hours of being in that office my fiance finally came out and said "NOT AGAIN" the office manager was trying to get to buy a night gaurd and an oral toothbrush that all together cost almost 400 when we can to Walmart and get it cheaper. He said it felt he was a cow being tagged, being shuffled to one area to another.This place is not for us. The 3 stars is for the place looked clean and neat.

A Great Choice for Dental Health Care ... On my initial visit this week to Prattville's Aspen Dental (for an annual exam and accompanying x-rays) I was, first of all, favorably impressed with the brightness and cleanliness of this facility, as well as with the modern equipment and technology in use there. Even more important, everyone who worked with me, from the patient service representatives to the hygienist to the dental assistant to the office manager to the dentist himself was friendly, courteous, communicative, patient and above-all 100% professional. I feel I've found the right place!
Went to the Idaho Falls location for the first time yesterday and every single person in the office was so nice, reassuring and answered any and all questions I had. (Which was a lot as my anxiety was through the roof). I haven't been to the dentist in 5 years and almost cancelled even though I was in so much pain because I am so scared of the dentist. I am so glad I didn't! Going to get my teeth taken care of and their financial lady was amazing too as I was freaking out with all the work I need done with no insurance.
Although it was clean and the staff were very nice I left feeling very overwhelmed by what they said needed to be done. Upon getting a second opinion I discovered most of the things I was told that needed to be done in fact were just fine the way they are.
I recently had a tooth pulled and they were very quick and gentle about it. The staff is great and friendly taking the time to make sure I was ok. My mouth doesn't hurt anymore thanks Aspen Dental!

The only good part was the experienced and friendly technician. The prices they promised were double what they actually wanted to charge. You can't even book an appointment without a down payment, and if you don't have the money for the treatment, they have a "great" payment plan that will reject you because your credit isn't perfect.
Ever wonder why there is a problem with Aspen Dental? Research the Frontline Investigation which was broadcast on PBS in 2012. The Idaho Falls office dropped the ball. When transparency isn't the office's priority-then the patient suffers the consequences; "Your mouth-our mission," should be "Your wallet-our mission." Since when does an office manager withhold a detailed billing statement/"Treatment Plan" from a patient outlining costs and then provide one after the patient requests it- one which shows an amount close to twice as much as the original agreed upon amount? The office manager demonstrated a classic Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde syndrome when approached about several issues, not to mention misrepresentation of an "Agreed Treatment Plan" and its costs. Additionally, the ADA recommends an average time to do root planing and scaling per quadrant is approximately 45 minutes-how then does the hygienist complete 4 quadrants of 4+ teeth in an hour and 40 minutes, which included the time to anesthetize the mouth and several breaks due to patient fatigue and difficulty swallowing? Could it be that the entire process was unnecessary, or incomplete? ""Time spent' may be a requirement. Many carriers will pay a better benefit for a one- - or, at the most - a two-quadrant procedure performed at one appointment. A lower benefit is paid toward a full-mouth or four-quadrant procedure accomplished in one day. If a patient requires a full-mouth, four-quadrant treatment for whatever reason, the office should provide a written narrative indicating the amount of time spent on each quadrant. (Insurance carriers usually expect a minimum of 45-50 minutes per quadrant.)" (Takavek, Carol RDH. "Scaling and Root Planing," Dental Economics, Electronic version.) What about the generic patient instructions after deep cleaning? When Atridox (a local antibiotic) is placed subgingival in several regions, and brand labeling states that the patient should be instructed NOT to brush or floss the affected regions for 7 days, but the generic instructions state to do the opposite-it means the patient has just paid for a drain cleaner costing hundreds of dollars. What about when the patient specifically instructs the hygienist not to perform a procedure if it costs any money-and the hygienist states that it doesn't and does it anyway? Finally, due to safety reasons and ADA guidelines, it isn't standard of practice for hygienists to use injectable local anesthetic on the entire mouth; it can cause swallowing difficulties, loss of mandibular function, and inadvertent tissue injury, because the patient can't feel anything! "The dental hygienist should avoid administering local anesthetics to both the mandibular right and left quadrants during a single treatment to prevent the inability of the patient to control his or her mandible; thus the use of quadrant or half-mouth procedures is usually recommended (see Figure 2). Clinicians report that patients have a hard time swallowing, and replacement of any removable prosthetics or eating soon after can cause gagging. Also, when designing the dental hygiene care plan, the dental hygienist must consider the amount of anesthetic needed to complete the procedure so that they are always staying within the patient's MRD (see earlier question on dosage). In addition, administering bilateral inferior alveolar nerve blocks also increases the possibility of the patient causing self-mutilation of their soft tissue." (Fehrenbach, M.J., RDH, MS, and Logothetis, D. D., RDH, MS. "Local Anesthesia Options During Dental Hygiene Care". 25 June 2014. RDH Electronic Version.). So what happened, the hygienist did just that, compromised patient safety and anesthetized the entire mouth. After filing a report with the State Attorney General, the state closed the case because the Idaho Falls branch never responded- did you get that? They ignored two letters sent to them by a state attorney general's office.
I brought my son to Aspen Dental to have 3 baby teeth pulled. We had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and the doctor was great! We will definitely be coming back!

For a very long time I couldnt trust a dentist due to a really bad experience, nervous and ready to flee Aspen dental did everything to comfort me. I am so grateful for all of what they've done for me, for several years I have lost my smile and now thanks to Aspen Dental I'll finally have my smile back, and I am so grateful to the receptionist who helped me greatly by making this possible by doing everything in her power to make it to where I could afford this procedure that I need done thank you soooo much you don't truly know how much this truly means to me.
My husband got his dentures in mid 2016... Since with in that time frame he has gone back 4 times to get his upper denture fixed for cracks in the same place... The last time was on a Tuesday and early the next morning it cracked again in the same place which he was chewing a bologna sandwich... What's going??? To make matter worst they tell me my warranty has expired... Fixed them right the first time and I would have to worry about the warranty.... I guess if I pay them it may get right...

I am in the process of having extensive dental procedures. I am so blessed to have this wonderful group at Aspen Dental in Prattville, Alabama work on me. They are so kind and their work is very professional! I can't Thank them enough for giving me my smile back!
Terrible service. Arrived at 1:45 (15 minutes prior to appointment). Didn't get called back until 3:20!! Had to wait 30 minutes for the doctor to come in to verify that I have gum disease (surprise!!), and didn't get to leave until 4:15!!!!! Heard several other patient being told they had gum disease. At over $1,000/patient for the treatment, I'm starting to think this is their standard diagnosis. Not to mention the doctor was incredibly rude to my friend for not wanting to get $10,000 worth of root canals!!! A 20 year old who sees his orthodontist regularly with braces needs 6 root canals that he didn't know about?!!! I'm thinking SCAM!!!!

Office manager very rude and unprofessional. Aspen uses deceptive practices to sell unneeded services or procedures. Does not honor warranty or there policy to make the customer satisfied. Deceptive,unprofessional, get it in writing and even then record any conversations with staff. Never again would I recommend them to anyone.

My frist visit was not good,.....I called to make an appointment to get a broken tooth/cavity....repaired ,on my confirmation texted, my appt would be 45mins, ...more like 3+ hours......did not get tooth fixed.......but instead......I GOT THE COST TO FIX EVERYTHING IN MY MOUTH........not the tooth that I originally made the appt for ......$2,200+I didn't even get a new patient Cleaning

The assistant was not very good. She kept doing things wrong. Dr. G had to keep correcting her as he was working. My mouth kept filling up with whatever water and such and she didn’t suck it out! Dr. G while he is a very good and nice he wasn’t very gentle. My initial visit I was very pleased with the entire staff but with this procedure I was not very impressed.
The staff was so nice. They helped me with every step of my visit. Told me exactly what they were doing so I wasn't nervous. Were very honest about what they thought would be best, becouse they cared, not for how much money they could make from me. They actually told me they could save me about a thousand dollars to go to a certain dentist to have my teeth pulled then come back for the dentures which are the same price I had researched at, but the wonderful owner of Aspen Dental gaurentees that I will be extremely happy with my dentures or I get my money back. No games, gimmicks or lies like I've always had to deal with. It's so nice to see this kind of respect and loyalty like I've always heard about in the stories from my parents and grandparents. A friend needed a bridge put back in..they got them in the next day. Fast curtious service..
I went in and had my initial consultation with Dr. G. I was horrified when they told me I'd need 4 crowns, 2 root canals, and 4 fillings, including one in my front tooth and totalling over $8,000! I got a second and third opinion (just to be sure! And 2 different offices, totally unrelated to eachother) and sure enough, I only needed 1 crown and 1 small filling. Both other dentists agreed that the treatment plan I was given at Aspen Dental was TOTALLY unnecessary and completely unethical. Both dentists compared Aspen Dental xrays with the treatment plan, then also took their own xrays and it just didn't add up. Neither could believe that this dentist wanted to mess with so many teeth, it would have been devastating, both financially, and more importantly to my teeth if I would have gone through with it. And he wanted to do a filling on a front tooth!! When it was only just a little decalcification, not decay. They prescribed me a special cleaning plan that cost like $150 because of plaque and tartar buildup, they said a normal cleaning just wouldn't do. After personal examination, both consulting dentists wondered if they were even looking at the same patient that the records from Aspen Dental described, as I didn't have any tartar and plaque build up. Both dentists took a second and third look at xrays and my teeth and tried to see what this dentist was describing, but they couldn't, even with using their imaginations. Seriously beware of this dental office! They caused way too much unneeded anxiety and stress and its appalling that they are allowed to practice this way!

Staff was friendly and courteous. I already have Dentures from a different Dental Care which I've been unhappy with for close to 3 years. They claim there was nothing else more they can do. Aspen made me more comfortable that they could give me better Dentures with a better fit and if necessary anchors on my upper dentures. I really wished I would have went to Aspen first before the other dentist but I won't know for sure for a short period of time if I'm happy with these newer dentures.
I did my homework and researched Aspen Dental. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. There was no long wait time and the receptionist was very kind and professional. The whole staff treated me with respect. The only problem I have is with myself. I m upset that I did not take better care of my teeth. Now I will have all my teeth pulled out the whole 11 left.lol. I have nothing negative to say about Aspen Dental in Elkton Maryland.. I will most definitely have an idiot dentures put in until my permanent ones will be made. I like that process.

Me an my wife stayed in the lobby for almost a 1hr37min an there were people coming in after us who had got to be seen before us an beside I missed work an the woman at the front desk Brandy said she couldn't write a excuse for me bringing my wife nor atleast put my name on the excuse stating that was even here for my job to use a excuse for me missing work....ive been to several other dentist office an they were able to,so I'm definetly misunderstanding a point here.

Worst place to ever go they are nice to you to get you in, never get your dentures correct . If you do need more done to correct what was not done correctly the first time , well they tend to get loud and mouthy and instead of blaming themselves they BLAME THE CUSTOMER. Trust me on this one. I refuse to go back there.
