I've recommended this dental office to many of my friends! When my husband and I arrived at this office, the staff made my children feel so comfortable. The office is very fun, really geared to creating an experience that is age appropriate and not intimidating. We've all been in those offices where the doctor is too busy and rushes you out the door. I was very impressed with Dr. Henry. Though the office was busy, he took the time to sit and talk with us and lay out a dental plan for my children. I liked how detailed his dental plans were for my children. Personally, I appreciate how my children's dental plans were laid out and explained to me and my husband. It eliminates any surprises in the future. Dr. Henry was accommodating with our financial situation and the cost of our children's dental plans.

My kids loved the play area in the waiting room. And waiting their turn for their cleaning was easy with the ceiling mounted TV's. The dentist was kind, patient and very clear when describing the decay he was/wasn't seeing. He was surprisingly conservative with his suggestions. My four year old son had two cavities in upper molars, and an incipient cavity in a lower molar. Pediatric Dentistry of Wyoming came up with a treatment plan involving 7 (SEVEN) crowns, for the low cost of $3500 (I had a minor heart attack when I saw that number). This included two crowns for incisors, which had nothing wrong with them at all!! They were pushy to quickly arrange a followup and start treatment asap, which made me very suspicious - nothing says 'scam' like trying to prevent you from thinking it over and getting a second opinion. So I went to Children’s Dentistry for a second opinion. There were two cavities that required filling, the incipient cavity hasn't broken through, and we're taking better care of his teeth now, so with a bit of luck that won't require filling, but we'll keep an eye on it. The dentist at Children’s Dentistry also thought that crowns all over were indeed unethical, and also couldn't see anything wrong with my son's incisors, either. I wound up paying 1/10th of the treatment plan that Pediatric Dentistry devised for two cavities all-in, my son's teeth are taken care of, and he isn't going to be spending hours and hours in a dentist's chair. In summary, expect Pediatric Dentistry to come up with a treatment plan that is designed to maximize their profit, with the well-being of their little costumers and the pocketbooks of their guardians assigned no importance whatsoever. In response to the owner's reply: yes, X-rays were taken for the second opinion, as well, and I even got a third opinion (my brother-in-law is a dentist, I sent him the X-rays, in his opinion, one crown might be required, depending on how deep the major cavity had progressed). Your reply still doesn't explain why you wanted to put crowns on his upper two center incisors, which are not affected at all. Thus, I am still of the opinion that your treatment plan is overly aggressive and not warranted by the situation, at all.

My son had such a great experience today! The toys in the waiting room are tons of fun, he loved the obstacle course, slides, and video games offered in the lobby. He got to pick his own movie with headphones and sunglasses and got to pick a prize. All of the staff were friendly and accomodating and also very welcoming as this was our first time at their office. The dentist was very professional and friendly as well. My son needs work done and Dr. Henry already had a plan in place. They also had a welcome board that listed all of the new patients for that day. Overall a very kid friendly and efficient office and a great experience for all.

Pediatric Dentistry in Laramie is AMAZING. My boys love going to the dentist. They have great entertainment that helps make the kids comfortable and distract them from any strange noises with dental equipment. The entire staff is wonderful. We love Carrie, Tiffany, Valli, Dr. Palmer, Dr. Henry. I will always trust them to take great care of my boys and they explain everything very clearly. I have never had a dentist (even my own) be so patient, caring, and understanding. You can tell they care greatly for the children they see and take pride in educating them on dental health.

I took my 2 year old to Pediatric Dentistry after browsing online for places for her. Since this was her first dental appointment I was apprehensive to how she’d react but our experience here was thoroughly enjoyable. First, their lobby/waiting area is great for kids to play and blow off steam before their appointment. They had plenty of things to do for my toddler up to older kids. Second, the appointment itself along with the staff were amazingly professional and patient. Obviously a 2 year old isn’t going to be too thrilled about strangers messing with her teeth but they reassured her and talked her through it while I held her. In the end she had a great first experience and I was a happy mom. I’m definitely sticking with them for our future dental needs.

Both of my children have been patients here since 2008 when we moved to Wyoming. They have had nothing but good experiences here even when we had a reluctant 8 year old who had to have a little encouragement to get in the chair. The staff and Drs go out of their way to make sure we have all the information we need. The kids know what to expect at every step and are made as relaxed and comfortable as possible. I appreciate that they have kept me in the loop on treatment planning from the start of our visits with them. I also love the emails and texts of appointment reminders. I always recommend this office in Laramie when asked about a dentist for children.

I was so amazed by the professionalism and kindness demonstrated to us today. My husband and I have been fretting for a few days about something that looked like tooth decay on the back of our 17 month old’s front tooth. We were able to get a day of appointment, but I was still very concerned with the cost (assuming it was a cavity and needing to get my little one sedated for a filling). Great news! It was just a stubborn stain that was difficult to remove with a toohtbrush. The dentist was amazing with our little girl, and was kind enough not to charge us an office visit, which they could have very well done. We are so lucky to have this group in town!

Both our girls enjoy their trips even if their a little worried about a stranger looking at their teeth. The staff takes their time with the kids and follows our lead as parents. Upon arrival for my daughter's appointment we were directed to one of waiting rooms. We remained there for nearly an hour. When we finally were taken to an exam room, our hygienist was less than friendly. It was obvious that she had many other things on her mind. I understand that people have bad days. I also understand that I have 3 year old who had been waiting an hour to see the dentist. The hygienist then requested that my daughter sit in the exam chair independently. That was not going to happen. I offered to sit in the chair with her on my lap or that my daughter could remain on my lap and they could perform the exam there. I was informed that neither of those would work. Thankfully. Dr. Heney came in and performed the exam while my daughter was on my lap. He was kind and compassionate. Now comes the billing fiasco. I was told when Inleft to disregard any bulling statements I may receive in the next few weeks as our claim would t be submitted to insurance yet. I disregarded the first bill. I have since gotten a second bill. To my surprise the bill does not reflect any insurance adjustments. I stopped by the dentist office to make sense of all of this, but they were closed. Their sign said they are closed from 1-2 for lunch. It was 12:30 and their window was closed. I've since called my insurance and nothing has been submitted. I called Pediatric Dentistry and the clerk told me that it was all submitted. When I questioned her, and told her I had already contacted the insurance, she became very defensive. She "had everything right" in her computer. Now, I wait again. The dentist himself is great. However, based on the people who first greet us and help my child to feel comfortable, we will not be returning.

Only thing I noticed that I have noticed elsewhere was they didn't ask what flavor of flourine she wanted like other dentist offices have. Now that's not a big deal at all so no negatives :-).

They have one person that deals with the Scottsbluff location and demand payment right away even if insurance is provided. Then after you pay them the offee a refund on the funds over paid but make this process as painful as possible. They send the check which takes weeks and do not spell your name correctly on the check so then you have to wait again for another check even after they have all your information on hand in the first place. Dealing with them again and they are asking for me to go through the same process so when I called the one person that can help is ever unavailable and doesn't have a an option to leave a message or voicemail but yet can never be reached. I find that amazing how she can bill the heck out of people but never answer her phone about the billing process or billing in general.

The first step, of polishing her teeth, hurt her gums during and after. One day later, they still hurt. This is the first time, in all her years of going, that this has happened. It was a different hygienist than ever before. The sealants are also causing tooth pain, when she bites down.
