My coworker recommended this dental office to me and I’m SO glad she did. I went for the first time last month, after not having gone to the dentist in over 3 years. Dr. Dan and his staff were kind and patient, explaining every single thing they were doing. I had a follow up appointment, and being that I just came back from vacation, I had my Wednesday’s mixed up and came in the wrong day. The front desk staff accommodated me and saw me immediately. They’re a little inconveniently located for me (I live and work in NW) but will gladly go out of my way to continue seeing Dr. Dan.

First impressions: I was referred by a dear friend who highly recommended Dr. Jones and his team. They met and exceeded expectations! All are bi or multi lingual, pleasant, smiled, and actually took the time to speak to me, listened and actually dialogued with me. They did not rush, they even had eye contact! Looked at me and not their computers! From the minute I walked in, until I left, the whole experience conveyed, efficiency, professionalism, confidence, with a calming effect. My senior hygienist/tech, Emeliana, - who is also educated as a Nurse - took the time to explain procedures, and educate. Truly I felt like I should have received a certificate of education credit for how the teeth, gums, bones, tissues and chemistry of the mouth affect the whole human body! After report from Emeliana, and a thorough exam, Dr Jones took a full hour to speak to me about his assessment, a plan and a way forward. The whole 90min visit was perfect! I highly recommend this Smile Beautiful group.....by the way, every single member of the staff, including Dr Jones have beautiful smiles! Ann in DC

I have been seeing Dr. Dan for almost 20 years and before that his father , Dr. "Painless" Paul Jones. Dr. Dan prides himself on being up on the latest dental technology. I believe he was one of the first dentists in the area to use "plastic" fillings. He takes time to explain things and though he does not offer a whiff of laughing gas or a bourbon like his dad (never took him up on either so don't know if he would have followed through) I highly recommend Dr. Dan.

Professional, but expensive. Prepare to get upsold and charged through the nose. I had a long insurance battle with them and they were super slow and way overcharged me. Dental work need to be redone 18 months later. I wish I never went here.

Dr. Dan is the best dentist ever. Most recently I was treated for a gum abscess which led to a root canal on a tooth with a crown and two courses of antibiotics. One week later the abscess is gone, and my tooth is no longer sensitive to hot or cold, crunch or chew, or touch. It feels great, looks great and I could not have asked for a better result. I love Smile Beautiful Dental. The hygienist is great and always gives me great advice on maintaining my dental health. Dr. Dan is one of the best dentists I have ever been to. The appointment staff is great in accommodating my busy schedule. They are always very nice. The only drawback is that Smile Beautiful is a tiny bit on the pricey side. But the prices really reflect super high-quality work. Dr. Dan also has a very nice bedside manner and is very caring.

Office refused to provide me a routine cleaning/checkup unless I also purchased a $192 x-ray ($338 in total for an x-ray and a cleaning). I requested to forgo the x-ray since I do not have dental insurance and have never had a cavity, but they refused. Since I did not receive their dental services, I do not offer this rating to disparage this business, but only to provide helpful information to other potential customers like me who do not like paying for expensive services that I didn't request.

I visited on 1/23/2019 So I hadn't been to the dentist in almost three years, and I was understandably a little anxious about going again. By the time I left my appointment, all of that anxiety had gone away. I had the pleasure of working with Jose and having Emiliana as my hygienist. Both were incredibly friendly as well as professional, and I felt very comfortable with them. Emiliana did an excellent job on my teeth and gums, and was able to walk me through everything they were doing. She gave me advice about what to keep an eye out for, what might improve my situation, and also frequently made sure that I was comfortable. Service-wise, she knew exactly what she was doing at all times and was very knowledgeable. Emiliana was both professionally and personally an excellent hygienist to work with and I look forward to seeing her again :) Dr. Fitzpatrick thoroughly but efficiently examined me and we discussed what services I might need at the present and in the future. Fortunately I did not require any in-depth dental procedures with her as my mouth was relatively healthy, although that means I can't speak further on her service as a dentist. Personally she was courteous and professional, and I had no issues. The rest of the staff, including Layla and those at the front desk, were quick to assist and personable. Well wishes to each of you, and thank you for settling my nerves! Lastly, the office's location, design, and technology are all top-notch. Overall, I highly recommend visiting this location and I was thoroughly impressed.

I broke a tooth (oh, no!) right in front. Called on Monday afternoon, and I was in the office the next morning! Walked away with a new temporary crown (which looks better than my original tooth!) just a few hours later. These guys really have it together. They were professional and fun at the same time. The Assistant (Veronica) never left my side. The Dentist (Dr. Fitz) has a gentle touch, even with some necessarily aggressive techniques. They kept me completely pain-free, and were just so nice!

In all my time going to other dentists, I've had cleanings and the odd filling now and then. Then I moved to the city and chose these guys, since they were right nearby. They tell me even though I have "no signs or symptoms"- they literally said this to me- I have to undergo a costly periodontal treatment, and when I declined, 'Doctor' Fitzpatrick became extremely angry (her hands started shaking holding the tools in my mouth) and kicked me out. Then they charged my insurance for a cleaning they didn't do. Unless you have great insurance, I would avoid these scam artists.

Very friendly staff. Solid convenient service. For example, X-rays, exam, and cleaning all done in same chair. No shuffling from room to room. Everyone very professional and efficient.
