I haven’t been to the dentist in quite some time, because like a lot of people I had a experience that ruined it for me. After finally searching through reviews of offices in the area I decided to give River Run a try. I’m glad I did. I started the process by submitting the request online, I got an appointment the next day which was super easy, thank you Gabrielle. Becca was my hygienist and has a great bedside demeanor. And finally I was worried I honestly had a few cavities and Dr. Sinclair was the nicest dentist I can honestly say I’ve ever seen. She told me we just needed to watch the areas I was worried about and that it was nothing to fret about right now. I can say I will be returning in 6 months. Thank you for helping change my mind on how a dentist experience can be.

I highly recommend this place to everyone. I had the best experience I ever had at a dental office. Beginning with my first initial call to set up the appointment. The lady on the phone was so helpful and inviting. My needs were time sensitive and she understood that and was able to schedule me that same day. Once I arrived the helpful and inviting atmosphere continued. From the front desk all the way to the financial office, everyone was absolutely amazing! I am extremely pleased with my choice and am thankful to my mother-n-law for recommending this place.

I first heard about River Run Dental on the radio. They described it as River Run Dental Spa and I can say that my experience truly lived up to that word. It was a relaxing environment right from the start with a warm waiting room and calming music playing in the background. They offered complimentary snacks and beverages while you waited and had plenty of comfortable seating. Once inside, I was given a tour of the building before being shown to a room where I sat in a massaging dental chair and read from a complimentary comfort menu with items such as a neck pillow, blanket, or cup of coffee offered to patients. The dental hygienist was very warm and friendly and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. Any fears I had going in vanished quickly. As a mother of two boys, it was nice to have some alone time and feel pampered even when doing something as simple as getting a teeth cleaning. I would certainly recommend this dentist to anyone looking for a bit more from their dentist’s office.

They asked me on my initial paperwork any concerns I had and addressed those from the first step inside. I've been coming to a River Run for 2yrs now. Every experience is great from the check in at the front desk all the way to the accompanied walk out the door. The staff is friendly, and super accommodating and make me feel comfortable, and even remember things about me from prior visits. Lauren was my hygienist . Very friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. Walked through every step she was doing and educated me on my gum and teeth health. At this visit, I had xrays and a gum examination done as well as a cleaning. Cleaning was gentle yet thorough. The gum examination involved a UV light that looks through the internal layers of the gums. Glad to say my gums are healthy! The UV light also picked up the outside parts of my skin around my lip area while she was doing her examination. She mentioned that there are some dark spots around that area and suggested I started using SPF on my skin. She didn’t have to do that, but did! Thankful for this piece of information. Felt like a dental and dermatologist visit all in one! What an all star!

Everyone greets you with a smile and they are very informative in dental health. I especially liked that they explained everything they were doing in detail and why they did each step. I can say hands down river run dental is the best dentist I have been too by far. 1) You walk in, and it’s a beautiful waiting room with relaxing music, a Starbucks coffee bar, la croix, snacks, and always friendly staff 2) A dental hygienist takes you back, and offers you a menu of things to help you relax. :) see these pictures! Nice office but not a fan of the promises. I have called several time about 2 gift cards that are owed to me. it has been over 3 months and still no sign. I have called and ask to pick them up. No response. They have to out source you to orthodontics and surgery centers for oral surgery. Expected more.

Dr. Adler took the time to sit and talk with me and was conservative in a treatment plan (choosing a wait and see approach vs pushing treatment on me). They take my insurance, which is a plus. I can’t leave out the dental staff. Everyone is super nice. During my dental work, everyone went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. They all did an outstanding job. They explained to me exactly what our insurance would or would not cover. With other places, I’ve sometimes been hit with extra bills after the fact. Not here. They knew exactly what we would have to pay out of pocket and it was exactly that amount. I feel very lucky that I found this office. My son had his initial visit last week. He enjoyed the entire experience. My husband (and myself) two weeks before. One suggestion: Do not make the 'tour' obligatory. *Please* ask on the first visit if one would like to do so; offering a patient the chance to bow out. Our son is young and could care less about how long the practice has been established , etc. He was not in the least bit interested. The young lady who did the tour was *extremely* nice. However, it was obvious that it was a script that she is so used to following. She was on auto-pilot the entire time. Also, stay acutely aware of the billing process and what you are being charged for. No additional comment on this. No rant. No rage. Enjoy the experience but remain ever vigilant. Sound advice for *anyone* Thank you!

Came in for a snap filling appointment. Everyone was wonderful, the office itself really does have a "spa" feel to it. The doctor, her assistant, all excellent. I'll change the rating to 5 stars when I'm sure the zinging pain I am experiencing when trying to eat where the filling was placed goes away. I was told there should be little to no discomfort, but this zinging pain is way more than little to none. I sincerely hope I don't have to return and miss more time off work because it was not done right the first time. I'll give it the weekend and change my rating accordingly if it goes away (or if it doesn't)

YES..River run is a nice place!!!!!! they provide snacks,water and coffee..Lovely atmosphere. we usually go for cleaning there. I had bad teeth so they did filling and put crown over it 2 years ago I spent more than 1000 dollars for it. After 2 years pain started on that tooth and other doctor told me that nerve inside the teeth is going bad.This may be because they couldn't put crown very well. As a result I had to do root canal and again paid over 1000 dollars.

Nothing like bribing your patients for Facebook, Google & Yelp likes. 1- Why don't you focus on the quality of your work so people don't have to come back multiple times to have a crown placed then replaced because someone different is working on my teeth each time I come in there that doesn't know what they're doing. 2- Trying to charge the insurance company multiple times for something that was supposed to be complimentary because it was YOUR mistake. 3- Having a 3rd party agency blow my email up over a $17 balance that I shouldn’t have to begin with. When I try calling & speaking with the lady Jewels that accepted my payment & gave me a zero balance receipt she somehow is never available & the other 600 interns you have working there have no idea what’s going on…….. Giving away free gifts, coffee & snacks for positive reviews has obviously made the business grow but the quality & consistency lack.

I have always not enjoyed the dentist due to having a lot of work all at one time at a young age. I made an appointment here after being referred by my colleagues. The blankets, cold eye mask & availability of other comfort items I thought was pretty cool. The hygienist who cleaned my teeth was very nice & kept me informed a long the way. At my initial appointment & cleaning it was found that I had a significant cavity & that the tooth next to it would require a crown. They were able to schedule me for the next day (yeah! also 6:30am appointments, no using PTO :) ). The hygienist & Dr Rusnak were so nice & explained everything as it was happening in a way that made me feel at ease. I very much enjoyed the banter between the two of them as they worked on my teeth. You could tell they were very fond of each other & enjoyed working together. Honestly it is the first time in my adult life I have had to get a filling & at no point felt stressed out during the process. I would definitely recommend this practice for all things dentistry.

The office is beautiful, yes that's true. The clinical staff is experienced in what they do. However, the way I've been treated by this facility's administrative staff is outrageous. This place does not take into consideration the financial needs of some people and caters to those with money to blow. After being recommended to them by people I know, I really regret my decision to be seen here. My first visit was great and they were very accommodating to me, probably because I was a new patient. My second visit I waited an hour and a half to be seen. No one apologized or even acknowledged my wait, and then it took 3 hours to get 2 fillings after my wait. I was quoted how much I would have to pay out of pocket and did so. I was also scheduled for another set of fillings which I attended. Next thing I know I get a bill for over $500 dollars for BOTH visits. I was told someone would contact me in the next week to figure out what was going on and NO ONE DID. I call up there trying to figure it out since no one contacted me and come to find out THEY KNEW my insurance would only cover a partial amount and found this out after my first set of fillings. They allowed me to get a second set of fillings after THEY KNEW they would not be covered as they had said and did not even tell me. Now I owe them almost $1,000 dollars for dental work that I wouldn't have even got if I knew I would have to pay this much. They said they will "work with me" and I can get care credit or split the bill up into 3 payments as if they are doing me a favor...I can't afford either option and wouldn't have even dug myself into this hole if there was clarity or communication between their staff and myself. I was thinking about not even coming back after my second visit due to the way I was treated. Dr. Vincent gave me a good exam too and said I have a healthy mouth. It was a great experience- oh and I loved having the neck pillow and throw - the office is a bit chilly. Good job!!

I was able to request an appointment time online, they got me in quickly, it was easy to complete my online paperwork. The early appointment times are perfect for people who don’t want to take off work. The appointment itself was great. The staff was welcoming, pleasant, my hygienist, Becca, did a great job and Dr. Adler was fantastic.

River Run is not like any dentist office I've ever been to before. They exert a lot of effort to make the experience relaxing, even luxurious. Their waiting room is beautifully decorated and replete with beverages, and the dentist chair has a back massager. The dental hygienists are always friendly and attentive, and coupled with the dentist, the overall care is very professional and thorough.

I love Dr. Rusnak's staff who is very friendly and accommodating. I love Dr. Hernandez who is very observant when it comes to how porcelain crowns are supposed to be made because my 2 crowns came back from the lab, and they were not made properly and didn't fit my bite so she sent them back to the lab in PA with detailed instructions on how they should be made. When the new crowns came, they fit my bite perfectly. Dr. Hernandez always provides excellent service with a beautiful smile whenever I see her. The only thing I'm unhappy about is the lab in PA that the dental office uses because it is not reliable, does not do a great job in making the crowns sometimes, or the crowns come back late. I have had to reschedule my tooth extraction twice due to the delay in having the flipper made at the PA lab. Is it possible to use one of the labs here in Richmond? I'd be a much happier customer if that were the case for future crowns if I ever need them. I would have given a 5-star review if it weren't for the PA lab.

I hated going to the dentist after a bad experience in college. Six years later and I now look forward to my dentist appointments. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. They have an online appointment system that sparks joy in my millennial soul. The customer service is off of the charts! They offer beverages and snacks in the lounge, mouthwash in the restroom, and happy dispositions. The dental chairs are massage chairs, and they offer complementary blankets, pillows, lip balm, etc. They are thorough and very knowledgeable, I felt like they really did their best to ensure my teeth are in tip top shape. I'm sold, and will be returning to this establishment for the foreseeable future.

I had my first appointment today and was blown out the waters surprised at the wonderful experience I had. The office on Shrader Rd was clean with all the latest equipment and a very knowledgeable staff. I received a tour before being seated in my chair. Then I was given chart of complimentary items to make my experience even better. I chose the neck pillow. The chair was massaging as I laid down. High tech X Ray's and a great cleaning. Dr Adler actually sat down to talk to me before my exam. I haven't had this in years!!! Just a wonderful experience all around!!!

River Run is a lovely place! There are snacks, coffee and sparkling water in the waiting room. A menu of no-charge extras like essential oils, kindle or chopsticks while you're in the massaging procedure chair. The customer service level is well above any other place I have ever been. I'll never go to a different practice.

River Run Dental is as close to going to a spa as you can get when going to the dentist. They always run on time...have a really nice staff...they have a starbucks machine in the waiting area❤....and a comfort menu for while you are in the chair...which includes having essential oils put on your "drool cloth" to help keep you relaxed while your having your teeth cleaned....on the massaging chair/bed....JUST GO...its AMAZING

I haven’t been to the dentist in over 3 years because of a bad experience and extreme anxiety. I decided to finally go in for a checkup thanks to a coworkers recommendation. Their staff was amazing at reassuring me and calm my anxiety. I’m beyond thankful I did! There staff also goes above and beyond for their patients. I needed two crowns but due to conflicts in my schedule it don’t look possible. However, they were able to work with me and by the grace of God and amazing staff they were able to find time to make it work. I’ll be moving to Texas but will be flying back to visit friends and get my 6months checkups here. Just another excuse to come back to RVA.
