Wonderful experience! As a first time patient they looked at my insurance beforehand, and I did all my paperwork online! When I got there for the first time, they gave me a tour, and explained all the things they can do there. Everyone I saw or talked to was very friendly and professional, and I received great care! They asked me a bunch of questions at the beginning about my goals and any hesitations I might have, which was really nice and I haven't seen anywhere else.

I have been to a lot of dentist over the years. Good experience and bad experiences. They were very welcoming and friendly. Very nice establishment with a welcome brochure on anything you would like to help make your stay and wait comfortable. Once called back Brandy Introduced herself and was very friendly. She showed the whole facility to me. She showed me where they clean and sterilized there equipment in and open room. She went into detail each area. She was very open and polite. Doctor Matt Hofrichter was very professional and friendly. He went over step by step the process he was going to do and my dental plan. He took my concerns and questions into consideration and worked with me. Excellent experience and definitely not afraid to go back. Once it was time to check out, Brenna Evancheo was very helpful. She went over the dental plan and costs and also gave me brochures on different payment options available and we were able to set everything into motion. Love it. Will definitely be back and also enrolling my kids here as well.

If going to the dentist had always been like going to Real Life Dental, I would be trying to find reasons to go to the dentist. Before I came here I was quite traumatized by dental experiences, so much that I had let things get out of hand. Even calling to make the appointment was difficult. Then I walked into Real Life Dental. Everyone was so incredibly nice and welcoming without being obsequious. Everything is clean and comfortable; even the amenities are remarkable. Dr Hofrichter really listens, is kind, clear and pragmatic about options. Ashley, Savannah and the other professional staff are very knowledgeable and go to great lengths to be sure everyone feels comfortable and is in good hands. I'm completely alright with everything that has been done. We are thankful that we found this place and wish everyone had a place like this to go to for their dental care.

They got me in as soon as their next availability was which was the next business day, after being told be several other dentists I’d have to see an oral surgeon and the dentist here did it in under an hour with no complications. I haven't been to a dentist in 5 years because of horrible customer care at the last place I went. This place was a world of difference! When you walk in the place looks like a day spa or coffee shop, not a dentist's office. They put you at ease right away. I can't say the cleaning was totally painless but they do everything they can to minimize it. They are totally upfront with their billing so you get no unpleasant surprises when you check out. I highly recommend this place!

I had the opportunity to have Tammy and Dr. Thompson work on my teeth that needed a lot of repair and was very embarrassed to go to a dentist. The front staff took care of all the insurance issues, which i appreciated because I don't really like dealing with it. I received a tour of the facility which was impeccable. I've not had a regular dentist in a while, I believe I do now!! Also I really enjoyed the classical take on 70's classic rock music piping thru, VERY relaxing. Honestly this whole office & staff felt like home.

We recently moved here from Southern California where we had an amazing relationship with our dentist. I was certain we would not be able to recreate that experience but Real LIfe Dental exceeded our expectations. I really appreciated that they explained everything in detail, were not rushed, showed us pictures of every claim they made, and were just generally happy to be around! We all left the dentist feeling great, which isn't necessarily a normal reaction after having your teeth cleaned! I don't usually write reviews, but this dental office is absolutely amazing. I chipped half of my front tooth off and they were able to get me an appointment less than 24 hours later. On top of that, I was able to get my filling done in just an hour. They had state of the art technology that made the visit much more comfortable than other experiences that I have had at other dentists' offices. Every person I interacted with was so nice and friendly. I can't believe I'm saying this, but this dental office makes me actually look forward to going to the dentist!

I was a bit skeptical at first since I’m not fond of dentists but my tooth was in pain and my roommate had recommended this place, so I made an appointment for the same afternoon - I was so glad I did. The staff was incredibly patient and answered every question I had in regards to financing. Everyone was really nice and friendly, and did whatever possible to make me feel comfortable and less nervous. I absolutely loved my hygienist, Melissa, who made sure I was comfortable and that I was informed about what was happening and what she was doing throughout the appointment. It was easily the best dentist appointment I’ve had. Plus, I got two goodie bags - one welcome gift as a first timer and one with oral care stuff. Definitely recommend!

Very professional and also personable! Amber Nicole and Dr. Thompson both took the time to get to know me and answer any and all questions that I had. They have really gone above and beyond in developing professionalism in the workplace while also still maintaining personal client relations. What to expect, and what makes their practice great: -Website is easy to use and you know which hygienist you will see when you book the appointment. -They will follow up immediately with you once you book an appointment with directions to get there and where to park, etc. (They cover the parking fee!) -Waiting area is very nice and modern, and they give you the forms to sign right when you come in. -Prompt with getting you in exactly at your appointment time. -The hygienist (shout out to Amber Nicole!) will give you a tour of the office with all the cool new stuff they have. -The hygienist will get to know you a bit and what is most important to you in terms of your dental care, and provide advice on any concerns that you have. -When the dentist comes in the hygienist will actually give them a brief pep talk about how cool you are (above and beyond - right?!). -The dentist will then do their thing and address any concerns that you have. -You get a welcome gift (A nice water bottle) if it's your first time, and you get the typical dentist goodies plus chapstick and mouthwash. -They talk you through all your options and provide price points and what would be the most bang for your buck based on your priorities. The ONLY thing that I would mention to them that could be fixed is that there are some typos on the laminated sheet that they give you with all the privacy info (I know, nobody reads the terms and conditions these days, but my mom brought me up old school). Seriously best dentist appointment I have ever had. If you're reading this, go ahead and treat yourself to this dental spa. Do it.

This was a wonderful experience for me. The dentist Dr. Hofrichter and the assistance Brandy. Were the nicest and friendliest dentist that I have ever went to. They were equipped to scan my teeth to give me a partial. unlike the other Dentist that I went to. They put this awful tasting stuff like clay in my mouth to make an impression. And I have acid reflux and I am allergic to chemicals. And I would recommend Real Life Dentist to anyone that needs dental service. For they are simply the best and more prepared to help give you special assistance. This also applies to the other Dr. that works there to help scan my teeth. Thank you very much.

I took my eight year old daughter there to get a cavity checked. The office is nice and clean. The staff is kind and polite. The dentist took the time to explain to me what the problem was and what needed to be done. My only complaint is my daughter is anxious about the dentist anyway (which I noted on the online pre-registration). She was obviously anxious when she walked in and while the hygienist checked her. Before the dentist even came in, the hygienist told me he would likely refer me to a pediatric dentist since she was nervous. The dentist came in, informed us she needed three cavities filled, and my daughter (who has never had a cavity filled) teared up. Didn't boohoo or freak out, but her eyes understandably filled with tears. He didn't even offer to fix it, but immediately said he needed to refer us to a pediatric dentist since she was so nervous and a pediatric dentist could sedate her. He then referred us to a pediatric dentist who does not take any form of insurance or sedate children. None of the six pediatric dentists we contacted will sedate. I believe that they simply did not want to take the extra time to service an anxious kid. I also wish they had looked at the form, told me they wouldn't fill a cavity for an eight year old with dentist anxiety, and I could have gone somewhere else to begin with. I am now stuck trying to find a dentist who takes my insurance and repair my daughter's cavities. Meanwhile she is in so much pain it's difficult for her to eat. I went ahead and gave three stars because I am sure they are fine for adults, but I don't know that I would take my child there.

Best experience I have ever had at a dentist. Called just to see if they accepted new patients and they were even able to get me in the same day for a cleaning. Then a next day appointment to fix the things my teeth needed. My hygienist Michelle was wonderful and showed me around and explained every thing she was going to do. It is a beautiful office, very calming. I have never had an experience like this one. They gave me a full tour of the office, all the hygienist pods, the equipment they use, even the sterilization process that occurs on all their tools, and a machine that makes a crown. You can have a crown made and placed in a two hour visit. Both my hygienist, Melissa and Dr. Matt were very impressive, full explanation of the services needed. They didn't rush me through, they treated me like they had all day to answer my questions. Trust me this is not your grandmother's dentist experience!

When my last dentist told me that they were too busy to allow me to reschedule my appointment around my holiday travel, I was forced to find a new dentist. A friend recommended Real Life Dental, and they managed to schedule me for a cleaning the very next day. They sent me the paperwork right away to fill out at my convenience. When I arrived, I was pleasantly greeted at the front counter, and then taken back for my appointment immediately without waiting at all. My dental hygienist, Chelsa, was extremely friendly and thoughtful. She gave me a tour of the office and made sure I was comfortable and informed throughout the entire appointment. And if that wasn't enough, they gave me a nice gift for being a new patient. Frankly, I have never been more impressed with a dental office and I highly recommend Real Life Dental.

I suffer from severe dental anxiety. So much so, I put off going to the dentist until something is painfully wrong. I received a flyer in the mail and decided it was time for me to bite the bullet and go (I also had a toothache). I called and got an appointment right away. The phone receptionist was super nice and ended the call with "let me be first to welcome you" she gave me directions and emailed me the necessary paperwork. When I arrived to the office, it was not an ordinary dentist office. The lighting, office decor, refreshment bar (yes...they had a Keurig and bottled water for patients in the beautiful seating area) was a nice bonus. The receptionist quickly checked me in, asked if she could take my picture so they would know me the next time I came in. She directed me to the seating area and told me she would bring me the necessary paperwork. Never have I ever been in a medical office with such positive energy. The front desk staff were all dressed alike and very personable and professional. Everyone is happy there. Shortly after finishing my paperwork, I was called back. The dental assistant/hygienist was very energetic, nice, and welcoming. She gave me a tour of the office and explained everything in great detail. I've never experienced anything like it. Once we got into the room, she thanked me for coming and gave me a "welcome gift". She sat down beside me and asked me about myself before jumping right in. Very nice way to ease the anxiety. I told her my concerns and she told me she would let the Dentist know. When Dr. Thompson came in, he introduced himself and shook my hand and also Welcomed me. We talked a bit and I shared my concerns/fears. He listened and assured me despite my past dental experience, this would be different. He really took time to go over everything we would do and didn't overwhelm me with a dental plan or lecture me. For the first time ever, I felt hopeful about the things I needed to do. First impressions are lasting ones. From the plush beautiful seating in the waiting area, the soothing lighting, the drink bar, the kind staff and Dentist's Real Life Dental is AMAZING!!! I have never experienced anything like it and for the first time in my life, I am looking forward to going to the Dentist and feel confident about my care.

Went in for an emergency filling replacement. My first impression was that everyone was very friendly and I even got a present for my first visit. Very informative in showing me the dentist's credentials and a tour of the place impressed me at that time. Then with stars in my eyes they told me that my insurance didn't cover fillings and that I can pay for it out of my pocket. Couldn't afford that so I went home and called my insurance company only to find out that I am covered for fillings and that the dentist I saw wasn't in my network even though the other 3 dentists that also worked there was and I should of seen one of them and should of been told that she wasn't and would I like to change dentist. Representative from my insurance company said that they should have known this and by law was supposed to tell me. I called them back to inform them what my insurance company told me and they kept saying I wasn't covered for fillings. No thanks I'll go to another dentist since you can't be honest with me.

Chelsa was awesome and even asked me if I wanted lots of info or would rather not know, but since I'm someone who loves to know what they're actually seeing when they're poking around and scratching at my teeth it was awesome to have her explain what she was seeing and doing as she looked at my teeth. My daughter went there and presented her insurance card, which was taken, copied, filed, whatever the process is, and a deductable was discussed and a price list given. After the work was done and after a followup visit because it was not done right the first time, she is presented with a bill and told they are out-of-network for her insurance. That is something your "friendly staff" should lead with. She is a working college student who is being told that she owes you more money than she is already paid (very little of which she should have paid with her current insurance plan to begin with). I'm going to call you in the morning and give you the option to make this right. The details as described to me border on deceptive (which seems to be a common theme in these reviews) or at a minimum incompetence. Not happy - never recommending anyone go there at this point.

They were very friendly and the fact that they remembered details about my schooling and hometown that I told them in my previous visit was very impressive. The procedure went as smoothly as it could for wisdom teeth extraction. All 4 teeth were erupted so Dr. Le was able to pull them out without incisions. I have always had an excellent experience at Real Life Dental! I have been a patient since 2012 and every visit is always first class. The new location is so much more modern and spacious than the old office. They are both in the same building, though the new office is on the 2nd floor. When you first visit, you wonder if you are in the right place - The decor looks more like a high end coffee shop than a dentists office! The best place to park when you visit is the Kent Square parking garage. Though there is a cost, Real Life will comp your parking! I have recommended Real Life to a number of people, including my Wife who is very fussy about health care providers. She loves it!
