Dr. Shuck is a very skilled dentist and I believe is top drawer in his profession. His assistants and hygienists are likewise very professional. I needed extensive work that required crowns, and upper and lower appliances to bring my smile back. I'd say also his prices are quite reasonable.

They are also very timely ...every time I have seen them I haven't even had to sit in the waiting room at all ...they took me back immediately. My schedule is all over the place because I am on call for my job and they have been great about scheduling me. The facility is very nice and I have had a great experience overall.

I have never written a review for a dental office before but I can't let his opportunity pass. What a great experience I had at my new dentist. Quarterpath Dental Center is the best. From the initial phone call to leaving I felt like a friend. Everybody there genuinely cared not only for me but about me. Dr. Shuck took time with me to talk with me in layman's terms regarding the work I needed to have done. I didn't feel rushed to get out. In fact, the entire office set that nice 'even keel' pace even though they were quite busy. How nice to be treated like a person rather than a number.

Dr. Shuck's office is the BEST in Williamsburg. We are an active duty military family and we were fortunate to find Dr. Shuck and his team immediately upon arriving in Williamsburg. I went to multiple dentists and oral surgeons for years trying to find the best option and price regarding my four wisdom teeth coming in all at once. I went to see Dr. Shuck for the first time as a consultation appointment. He explained that he could pull 3 of them, but since one of my wisdoms was so close to the jaw nerve, he wasn't comfortable doing it because of the possibility of nerve damage, and recommended an oral surgeon. I jokingly asked if he could do the other ones today and they responded with yes right away. I was completely flabbergasted with the prompt service I received at this office. With my insurance, 3 teeth extractions cost $150, and that's INCLUDING the laughing gas. I timed the procedure and it literally only took about 10 minutes from the time I had the gas going until I came to. Dr. Shuck is by far my absolute favorite dentist now, including all staff, who were exceptionally friendly and thorough with explanations of payment options and aftercare. They even took the time to sit down with me more to talk about "6 month smile", an alternative to wire braces and invisalign that I was interested in. They gathered the billing information for that as well and sat down in a private room to talk more about everything. GO HERE! You will feel special and well-taken care of.

Be advised: if they tell you they take Delta Dental PPO ( asked, and I know I was specific), they do not. Called, scheduled an appointment, arrived, nope, they don't take it. Because I thought I had an appointment for Friday 4pm, I didn't schedule anywhere else. Now I have to go through the weekend in too much pain to be able to eat. I feel like they should have offered me something more than just I can pay full fare out of pocket knowing I am there for pain and checked the insurance issue in advance.

Dr. Shuck and his staff are great! We are a military family and have visited several dentists in various states of the US and Dr. Shuck is by far the best! He is thorough and considerate. We are able to book all 4 of our appointments for the same date and time which makes it easy for bringing the kids. He offers evening appointments which are perfect for busy family life. He completed a tooth extraction on my son who has dental anxiety, he was patient, kind and understanding. I highly recommend him to everyone I know!

Dr. Shuck's office is absolutely the best! I go there with my four children and they take excellent care of all of us. Alicia, the receptionist is always smiling and she always get appointments that work for us. Dr. Shuck takes the time to communicate exactly what needs to be done and the best options for our care. The hygienists are all warm, friendly, and do great work. I have never had to wait either! They also inform you of what your insurance will cover and what the treatment will cost. I thought finding a good dentist was impossible for years. I had tried numerous dentists and they all just seemed like they wanted my money. Thankfully I found Dr. Shuck's office. Dr. Shuck and his staff are so friendly and helpful in many ways. Quarterpath Dental is by far above and beyond the best dental practice around. They are always very professional, punctual, friendly and knowledgeable about what they do. They are also excellent about letting you know exactly what you will be paying after insurance. My kids love coming to get their teeth cleaned as the staff makes it fun for them; they always leave their check up with a balloon, a toy and a smile on their face. For years, I was not happy with the way a bridge in the front my my mouth looked and was hesitant to have it replaced because of the very painful experience I had at a different practice. Recently, Dr. Shuck replaced my bridge and I absolutely love the results. It looks 100% better and the entire experience was easy and painless. He and his staff did an amazing job! My family moves often and we’ve seen many dentists across different states and countries. Quarterpath Dental sets the bar high above the rest!

I cannot even begin to describe the amazing care I received at Quarterpath Dental. From the time I called to make my initial appointment they were friendly, helpful, and sincere. Upon entering the office you are greeted by the wonderful front desk staff who are attentive and positive. On my first visit I went for a routine cleaning and discovered I needed fillings done as well. They were able to do some of the fillings that day and fit me into the schedule. I had to make a second appointment to have the rest of the work completed. I just returned from that appointment (my mouth is still numb) and once again received incredible care! Having relocated a lot and having had a number of dentists over the years, getting a new dentist in a new city is a trying experience. I cracked a tooth and needed a crown immediately. What a pleasant experience for an unfortunate situation. The whole staff there was amazing! I didn't have an appointment but they fit me in that day for a wisdom tooth extraction. Dr. Mitchell was the main surgeon which later on Dr. Shuck came in to assist due to the stubbornness of my tooth. We are so thrilled with Dr. Shuck as our dentist. Our whole family goes to Quarterpath Dental Center. Both our kids are patients of Dr. Shuck and we have one daughter that was terrified to have any dental work done. Dr. Shuck not only sat down with her and quelled her fears for whatever work she needed but he had her watch as her sister had her own teeth work done to show our hesitant daughter that it was going to be o.k. We literally had to drag our youngest daughter to the dentist before but now when we tell her she has a dental appointment she says "ok". They also went over my treatment plan and all of my options with me and explained it very thoroughly!
