The Invisalign treatment I received was well done, but I later learned very overpriced. I had 11 trays and finished in less than 6 months, and it cost $4500 plus and additional 700$ for retainers. They give you a discount if you leave a 5 star review on all platforms (yelp/google/etc) so most people leave a 5 star review for the discount. I wanted to be honest about my experience. I felt like the dentists did not pay particular attention to me during the process, and they removed the trays and teeth glue so sloppily that I had to return to have my teeth shaved/the glue removed a second time. The two dentists also argued with each other in front of me throughout my last visit; it was just an uncomfortable experience and I regret getting invisalign through this provider rather than another.

I seriously had the craziest teeth before, I didn't even think they could be fixed. Now, I get compliments on my smile and I've even had a guy ask me "where did you buy your teeth at?" Because they look that good. Lol!! People get confused and think I have veneers but my teeth are just ginormous. I'm happy with my smile and Dr. Darvishian did a great job.

Dr. Darvishian and her ENTIRE staff are the BEST!! I have been struggling with my teeth for years and have had nothing but painful experiences in the past which kept me from taking care of my teeth as I should have. My two front teeth have deteriorated and yellowed over the past 9 years, to the point where I didn't love my smile anymore and rarely did smile. After an initial consultation with Dr. Darvishian on a Tuesday, I was back fully informed and ready to get crowns on my front teeth on Thursday. I was so nervous and anxious that tears welled up and the staff was so understanding and sweet reassuring me that everything would be just fine. And they were right! After a 5 hour process and with much anticipation we were done and when they placed that mirror in my hand I was so nervous but couldn't believe my eyes! There it was, the smile I had loved for so long and had missed was restored! And it was all due to Dr. Darvishian and her staff and their amazing dental artistry! In 2009 I decided to fix the spacing in my teeth and did some research online for cosmetic dentists. I visited 2 other dentists prior to my appointment with Dr. Darvishian. After doing a search online I ended up traveling and hour and a half for my consultation appointment with Dr. D. and from the moment I walked into the office I knew she was the right dentist for my procedure. We discussed many options and finally chose to go with veneers on several of my front teeth to fix the spacing. That day we stared with a teeth whitening and the process started soon after. This decision has changed my life in such a positive way. I can't believe I waited until I was in my 30's to finally make the change. It was the best change in my life and I am so happy with the results. You can feel the passion she and her entire team has for dentistry as it comes out in the calming nature and the beautiful work they do. Everyone in the office is so pleasant they can't help to make you feel like family . Yes I still drive an hour and a half for all my dental work and some people think I'm crazy. But when you have an excellent dentist you will make the trip for perfection. Since getting my veneers I also has additional cosmetic work done using the newest technology they offer in their office including updating my old silver fillings with new ones. I highly recommend Dr. Darvishian for all your dental needs she will give you the results that you will be happy with for years to come. It's so important to not only feel comfortable in the office but to also trust your dentist and that is exactly the service you get with Dr. D. and her staff. Highly recommended.

I called yesterday on the recommendation of a friend. I had tooth pain, and needed a good cleaning. I was greeted by a friendly and helpful attendant, who took my information and insurance. Within 2 hours I was sitting in the chair, and now my teeth are in a much better condition. Dr. Darvishian's and staff are friendly, professional and thorough. All services, and prices were explained up front. One thing I found nice was that though I didn't have my dental insurance card, Dr. D's staff took my information, called my insurance company and got an explanation of my coverage so I'd know exactly how much I had to pay, how much the insurance covered and how much coverage I had left. This level of service was a first. I highly recommend this dentist.

This was my first time at Perfect Smiles of Reston. Dr. Nguyen put in a crown and she was excellent. The office is modern, clean and comfortable. Each of the office looks out to the woods. What I really loved about Perfect Smiles of Reston is that when you are getting a crown, they can do everything within one visit. There's no need to come in for the buildup and then return in another two weeks for the crown. The last time I did that with my previous dentist, when I returned for the crown, my teeth had shifted and they had to modify the crown to get it in. I would definitely recommend Perfect Smiles of Reston!

Please be warned when starting treatment at this facility! I visited this practice for two years for cleanings and Invisalign treatment with no issues whatsoever. Dr. Darvishian saw me throughout the entire time. Out of the blue, they switched me to another dentist there Dr. Nguyen. She immediately decided that I should have my wisdom teeth removed even though they came in straight and dentists hadn't had a problem with them for a decade. Her method of removal is archaic at best. She removes two teeth at a time and only uses Novocaine, so you're awake for the whole procedure. Initially, she doubted she could remove one of my teeth, but later changed her mind saying there was no reason to send me to an oral surgeon. She ended up breaking both root tips off in my jaw and had to leave on in there. The gum was torn open for almost an hour and a half. For days, she told me the extreme pain would fade and everyone's experience is different. Finally, she sent me to an oral specialist for dry socket. After two dry socket treatments, it was revealed that the resultant infection was much more severe, so I had to have surgery and was hospitalized for four days. The office claims that they owe no return as the consent form listed tooth breakage and infection. It did not say that the dentist was allowed to second guess herself and then end up doing a hatchet job on my face. I missed two and a half weeks of work, couldn't eat solid food that entire time, couldn't open my mouth, and lost seven pounds. This is a heartless office that has no understanding of medical responsibility.

Doctor Darvishian's dental practice, Perfect Smiles of Reston is outstanding in every respect. They are extremely responsive and capable, and they use the latest, state of the art equipment and technology. Yesterday morning I called to report loose crown (installed by a previous dentist), and was given an appointment two hours later, and by 2:30 in the afternoon, a new 3-D printed crown was in place in my mouth. Dr. Darvishian and the entire staff at Perfect Smiles of Reston are not only outstandingly capable, but also are extremely pleasant, personable and engaging.

I have been visiting Dr. D for several years and appointments have always been on time. I had very crooked teeth. Being skeptical about how effective Invisalign is on adults (I am 40+), I always declined when Dr. D. offered. Finally in Nov 2015, I said yes! And this is one of the best decisions/investment that I have made in my life. It's been a year and half and my treatment is close to the end. My teeth look GREAT! And Dr. D has always been supportive along the way. I am so pleased with the results. Make sure you research on Invisalign on the internet before your commitment. Yes it is a commitment because you need to wear it 20+ hours every day. Depending on how crooked your teeth are, there will be "buttons" attached to your teeth. And you need to go back to the dentist if the button is missing. (so make sure you find a dentist close to where you work or live). Most likely your teeth will be sore when switching trays (luckily mine was only very sore during the 1st tray) ... ... but after 18 months, I am glad I did it. The only question remains now is why I hadn't done this earlier??!! I highly recommend Dr. D for routine care as well as Invisalign treatment.

It took me a long time to find a dentist that I liked - I don't mind dental procedures in general, but I struggled with finding someone who I appreciated their "chair side manner." I've been going to Perfect Smiles for over three years - and they've seen both of my boys (the youngest since he was 2). They always treat me with kindness and I've rarely waited long in the waiting room. The office itself is very beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. The dentists are fantastic, the front desk is always smiling, and the hygienists are very kind and patient with both myself and my boys. This is a great family dental office. I trust them.

The receptionist in the office is very rude. She will try to force you to make an appointment the moment you call. I told her I would call her back once I found out my schedule and she insisted on calling me everyday. I came for a cleaning and ended up with just a consolation. The dentist seemed really cocky when I told her I was interested in Invisalign and kept raving about that they are ranked. The poor service I received stopped me from coming back. Do not go here!! They are very good salesmen and will try and sell you services and treatments you don't need, I guarantee if you go here they will try and sell you Invisalign. She even has all the accolades up on their front desk area and I am sure this is a huge profit-generator for her. Dr. Darvishian had me in and gave me a check up then used a bait and switch where she passed me on to some amateur named Dr. Lee who was miserable. First of all they said I need 8 fillings which is a lot! In hindsight I am realizing that they probably added more to increase profits. The most suspicious thing is that now I can't chew on anything hard like nuts, candy, etc. on one spot they filled...when it didn't hurt there before at all. So essentially I had a filling done on an area that didn't hurt and now it hurts and has been this way for a month? I went back three times to see chump ass Dr. Lee and she kept giving me this lame excuse about my bite being off and that this was causing inflammation! What a joke, she adjusted my bite a few times and it still hurts...so now I'm going to a real dentist to get this problem fixed and have my X-rays looked at, if I find out they drilled my teeth without cause I will take these snake oil salesmen to court!! Crooks! I'm all about making a buck but don't scam me out of my money and then do a piss poor job. Pathetic excuse for a dentist's office, don't be fooled by their fancy office interior and décor, they are SHADY!

I have seen Dr. Darvishian at least twice and she has always been pleasant, welcoming, and calm. She is gentle. Lydia at the front desk was patient and sweet! Their prices are sky high, however. So for major dental I have to have a good dental savings card to go to Perfect Smiles. At this last visit I needed work done on a tooth which had been giving me a little pain for a few weeks but suddenly became much more painful. Darvishian was not there. Her "associate dentist" (Dr. Jay: slim woman with dark hair, long nose, kind of middle eastern look, kind of Russian accent) met with me. She spoke in a very monotone & somewhat harsh manner. I had never met her before. She walked up barely greeting me & said you were here a year ago your tooth shouldn't have this problem so soon..thats VERY quick..what is your diet like? You have a bad diet? Do you eat a lot of sweets? I told her what she would have known if she LOOKED at my tooth: it was broken open at the side and had been for a while. She said "Ohhh thats why". She got started after about 10 minutes of doing other things some place outside of the room. She had to do AT LEAST 5 different injection sessions (usually multiple shots each time) and the last 2 were directly into the NERVE ITSELF! HORRIBLY PAINFUL! I guess she is new and/or not talented. She was obviously doing a ton of guesswork rather than implementing precise technique. After the 1st & 2nd injections she asked if there was an electric-like pain and if my lip was numb. I told her only my gum line near the outter injection site was numb. After the 2nd or 3rd injection my tongue got moderately numb and my lips & chin were very numb. She said that would be good enough & trusting her judgement I said okay. So she began drilling & the pain was quickly excruciating (~4 seconds in). I noticed she said before starting that she didn't have the correct type of drill head/tip. We went through SEVERAL attempts, with incidents of me flopping around from the EXTREME pain. I've experienced major burns before and this was probably a worse pain but so different that it's hard to really compare them. She didn't move her arm or back off as I yelled out in genuine PAIN!! I had to push her arm (which she still held down hard for a few secs!!) which I NEVER DO with dentists and sharp tools but she wouldn't stop so I had no choice but to try. I guess she has an attitude of deal with the pain (torture-level) since she isn't the once who has to endure it! Astonishing. And you guys she was going at it with lots of heavy-handed pressure not gently seeing how it goes bit by bit, NO. She later poked the nerve itself with a little spiky metal stick a-ma-jig on 2 different occasions (is that standard procedure??) and said yeah that's where the pain is coming from. Then without any pink numbing stuff she injected the super delicate & painful nerve!! After that she drilled again mere seconds later & I still had extreme pain. She was CLEARLY incompetent & my body was shaking, apparently from the level of pain...so I sat up and said I couldn't take anymore and was leaving as I was being given more pain than I arrived with (with no progress in sight). She said "Where are you gunna go? Everywhere is closing now and it's the holiday tomorrow so you're going to be in pain for days and it's still going to be the same situation somewhere else anyway. Now please lay back down and let me finish. This will be the last injection. It has to be the last one" (to not overdose). That last one worked & I had no further pain. I gave a thumbs up signal during drilling. Pain has improved but I see she damaged my gum tissue & drilled off some of the adjacent teeth! Earlier, she and an older Hispanic woman assistant made rude comments and she rolled her eyes & shook her head when I had pain. I appreciate the urgent/emergency payment plan after 70% down but I never want to see Dr. Jay again. Some unsanitary practices! I recommend Darvishian ONLY.

Mason Darvishian does phenomenal work in designing crowns. He designed two of them for me and they look and feel great! OMG!! Just had a tooth (actually just the root because my tooth broke at the gum line) extracted. by Dr. Aboud!! It was totally painless except a little pinch when he first administered the Novacaine!! AMAZING!!!! I was also out of there within a half an hour!!!! Dr. Aboud is an incredible dentist and makes what could be a very unpleasant experience totally (one can ALMOST say) pleasant. He is extremely gentle and tells you along the way what he is doing and what sensations one might experience. I was looking for a good dentist in the Reston area, and I was having trouble finding one that took the insurance plan that I had. Dr. Darvishian was recommended by a friend who had gone to the Perfect Smile office for cleaning and Invisalign. The Invisalign process corrected her life-long problem with teeth that slanted inwards, and it's a great improvement - her teeth are straight and she is very happy! So, I checked into the insurance situation, and they told me that they accepted my plan. I was in some pain when I made my appointment, so they promptly scheduled me for the root canal that I needed for the next day, which was Saturday. When I arrived, the staff went right to work on the root canal that day and finished it the next day. One great thing about their office is that they make the crown right in the office using a hi-tech that makes a ceramic (not metal) crown in a few minutes, based on the x-rays. I was amazed how well it fit - it "snapped" right into place, and I was done before I knew it. I won't go so far as saying that I enjoyed the root canal process itself, but I would say that if you need a root canal, the staff at Perfect Smile will do their best to make it as painless as possible. In my opinion, Perfect Smile is the perfect dentist office, and that's why I give them a five star rating..

Thank you Perfect Smiles of Reston for a wonderful care over the holidays. No other office would answer much less have their doctor actually call back and guide me through an emergency with my back tooth. Dr. Darvishian actually called me back and spend at least 15 minutes on the phone to figure out the seriousness of the situation and was kind enough to prescribe me medication till I was able to get into a open office next day. Dr. Abboud and Dr. Davishian are phenomenal dentists! Their staff are kind, courteous and efficient. I went in as I had a broken tooth and this was a local dentist (I recently moved to the area) that was in my health insurance network. This office is very up to date on the latest technology with dental work. They were able to do a root canal, including the crown it would need, and a crown on the broken tooth all in one day. My new teeth were printed on a 3D printer (see photos) and installed all in one day, one visit, with no follow up visit needed. I was able to save on not having to take multiple days off work, and for multiple visits. The team explained everything to me along the way, answered my questions, let me see the whole printing process, and made sure I was always comfortable. They worked closely with my insurance to make sure I only paid my portion and the insurance would take on the rest. I highly recommend this group. I woke up this morning with no pain, no "feeling of weirdness with my teeth in my mouth" and have already had several cups of hot coffee and cold water. I will definitely go back for the additional work I need done.

Though this will seem an unusual start to a dental review, I can only say the restoration of my dental health AND my smile (still very much a work in progress) is a true renaissance experience. Like the artist/scientist da Vinci and his brilliant artist/sculptor contemporary Michaelangelo, Dr. Darvishian and her partner Dr. Nguyen wield their instruments with extraordinary skill and an artistic eye. Broken teeth brought me in after years of neglect. After a thorough examination and consult, it was determined to restore the health of my savable teeth before putting in implants for the newly broken/missing ones. Five root canals and crowns later, I can say that the results are amazing. However, I felt I couldn't go more weeks with the ugly gap in my front teeth. Understanding my psychological need--especially with important professional and personal events coming soon--they were able to rush an impression of my missing teeth to a local lab and have it returned within two days to coordinate with my most recent appointment. Initial concerns about color and fitting well over a missing tooth with a fragment above the gum line were all addressed with seemingly miraculous speed and skill. All this was dealt with in between the nearly miraculous chair-side computer design of my crowns and their subsequent in-office 3-d printing and firing. Three hours after I walked in I had 3 new perfectly fitting crowns and a flipper or temporary denture for my missing front teeth--all indistinguishable from my real or uncrowned teeth. In addition to the spectacular work of the two dentists, this team effort could not have been accomplished without the work of the entire office staff working in concert. I am grateful and appreciative beyond measure that they made something happen for me on my fourth visit within limiting time constraints. I cannot offer enough accolades. And I actually look forward to the complete restoration of my dental health.

Dr. Darvishian has been my dentist for almost 3 years now. She along with her staff listen to everything I have to say and always make it very comfortble environment. Over the past 11 months I wore invisalign and every couple months Dr. Darvishian and her staff would have me come in for check ups, fittings, etc... They have the latest and greatest technology. I work in IT and can tell you first hand this is 5 star place all the way! After the 11 months of wearing my trays I decided to get the laser white treatment done in office. They came by every 15min to check on me and also gave me a bell to ring if I needed anything. So so nice! All female place and let me say, they are all gorgeous in my book! Very professional and know their stuff inside and out! Never hard to get an appointment and they will call you after hours just to check up on you if anything might of happened during the visit to cause slight discomfort like a root canel, etc... Great place and look forward to my 6 month visits!

Amazing service by amazing folks! I'm visiting NoVA and broke a veneer last Friday. I was able to call Tiffany at perfect smiles and explain that I needed help. She was able to get me an appointment for the very next business day at 850am. I arrived on time, check in was easy and was called to the examination area after just a few minutes. Dr. D assessed the missing veneer and got me ready for a new crown. Mason followed to scan my mouth and design the tooth and then my part was almost done. I waited in the seating area for about a half hour and then my crown was ready. I was taken back to the exam area and Dr D fitted and bonded the crown. The total appointment took a little less than 3 hrs. Done in one visit and for a little less than it would have cost at my regular dentist who would have required me to have 2-3 appointments and wait a month, I wouldn't hesitate to return to this dentist and absolutely recommend them to anyone wanting to have excellent dental care.

I'm psudo-new to the northern Virginia area and after having had all of my dental work provided for me by the military, I was in need of a good provider. Perfect Smiles of Reston not only is in an incredibly convenient location for me but they were able to fit me in based on my schedule and within the week. All the services were done very professionally and the staff is incredibly friendly. Definitely glad to have perfect Smiles of Reston taking care of my pearly whites!

Terrible experience. I had a light pain in my tooth so I went to the doctor to check it out. After the x-ray doctor Arameash said i need a crown as soon as possible. I wasn't sure about it so I decided to visit another dentist. They said a crown should be needed when the tooth has to be damaged at least 80% and my tooth was fine. The new dentist found that I bite my teeth while asleep so they give a protection and problem fix. I'm glad I went to another dentist. This doctor just looking for a expensive treatment.

I had Invisalign treatment done at this place, because they had a promotion going. I had done my shopping around, and even though the promotion was not any better than other places (the retainer is not included in the total price, by the way, but it included other things that I wanted, such as enameloplasty), I liked the friendly atmosphere, the courteous and clean office. I liked their flexibility with scheduling - I was always able to get last-minute appointments. I did not like their 78 hour cancellation policy. The Doctor did a beautiful job shaping my teeth, and my treatment went well. I am very pleased with my results and the service.

I have been seeing Dr. D for 6 years. I have had several crowns, a bridge and many cleanings. All the work has been done with a smile and and in the case of the crowns and bridge - art and speed. The office personnel are all warm and friendly and no matter the reason I visit the office Dr. D always visits with me and does a complete inspection of my smile. She has recommended work to be done in a timely manner and has recommended waiting when it was appropriate. I have been seeing dentists for over 60 years and she and her staff are the best I have ever been with. Even though I have moved some distance from her office, I will continue with her as long as I remain in the DC area.

Love this place and Dr. Darvishian. I went to 3 other dentist/orthodontist inquiring about invisalign treatment...2 of them wanted to pull teeth and the other would only do traditional braces with a price tag of $10K. From the moment I met Dr. Darvishian I knew her priority was me! She made me feel comfortable and gave me a few options. That was almost a year ago and I only have 3 weeks left of my invisalign treatment and could not be happier with the results or her service.

I started Invisalign in Texas before moving to Reston. The trays were always painful to take off. At my first visit with Dr. Darvishian, she pointed out that my previous dentist had not cleaned the composites on my teeth so there was too much and my trays weren't fitting properly. She immediately cleaned them up and the pain went away. I am so happy with the results since moving here. I wish I had started my treatment with Dr. Dravidian. She truly is one of the best for Invisalign.
