All including the entire staff are wonderful caring people. We recently relocated to Mechanicsville but the 35 mile drive is worth the time.

I go to doctor Lynn and she provides an absolutely wonderful service! She's a very caring person, always on your side! She also watches your back money wise! There's lot of different things to be done in my mouth, and she put together a very reasonable plan of treatment with all the prices according to my insurance plan and with all of the procedures divided into groups "emergency", "later" and "can wait", which also makes a lot of sense from the financial standpoint. But the most important for me is that she's just a very gentle and caring person, and it makes this whole pretty scary process go as easy as possible! I won't go to any other doctor but her!

I’m not quite sure about this private sector of dentistry... I will write a review more precise when my daughters full treatment has been completed. So far, Christy seemed annoyed with me , when I inquired about the treatment costs of my daughters treatments, which goes into the thousands, (we have no insurance, we pay every cent) When I inquired about a discount if i pay her bill in advance, in full, she said NO. I do understand most dentist offers a discount for those that are not fortunate enough to have insurance, as they pay far more than the “negotiated insurance claims” of those that have insurance. Therefore, so far, not that pleased with the “extreme costs” in my opinion. I just hope that the quality of their price is equal. I shall post again after the dental plan is complete.

Setting up a new patient appointment was quick and easy, the ladies at the front desk were welcoming and incredibly helpful! I hadn’t been to the dentist in years due to anxiety, but the staff were fantastic and constantly checking to make sure I was doing okay. Dr. Steve took great care, was kind, gentle and patient with my extractions. And Kristy, my hygienist, was friendly, warm and very helpful keeping me comfortable through my whole procedure. All are very professional and knowledgeable. The office atmosphere is warm, kind and caring. It seems like a great place to work and even greater place to get your dental care and work done. I highly recommend Penterson and Booth especially if you are apprehensive or phobic about dentists. They will take great care of you!

I can't say enough good things about this office. I am visiting family when my temporary crown cracks five days before I am due to return home. This happens on a Thursday night. I called the emergency number and after explaining what happened Dr. Booth said I should call the office in the morning and they will get me in to be looked at. I call on Friday morning when the office opens and they ask if I can come right in which I did. The staff was so kind and understanding that I needed to finish quickly so I could take my grandson to the circus that morning. They built a new temporary crown for me on the spot and within 50 minutes I was on my way.

My daughter started out at VCU Dentistry. They pulled 9 teeth when she was 6. Needless to say, not a good start. The staff made her feel comfortable even though she was nervous about trusting them.
