My boys are always comfortable in a friendly environment, and his new office in Fairfax is even better. My son has seen Dr. Han for the past 5 years. He has soft teeth and has had several cavities. I was so worried about him having fillings when he was so young but the staff were very helpful in talking through my concerns and making him feel comfortable. Dr. Han engages my son so he knows what is happening during the appointments. As a busy parent I appreciate that we are seen promptly upon arrival. I recommend you to have a second opinion if you went to this dental care for the first time. You may find out your kids don’t have any decay(Dr. Han told us 7 teeth need to be fixed which it costs more than $2000) but some stains. (We figured it out those brown spots are just stains after we went to see a highly recommended dentist.)

Did not like this office. Brought my 3-year-old son there for his 1st checkup. I was not impressed with their lack of patience with him. I was told he had a cavity (without xrays), and needed to be fully sedated to have it filled. That required a $300 deposit prior to the appointment. Also, I was not allowed in the room for such a procedure. I canceled before the tooth was to be filled. I went to another dentist, who DID take xrays. They were wonderful. Turns out, he had no cavities. My son had a wonderful experience. Going back there in 6 months.

You won't get better results, advice and experience anywhere else. We've been taking our children to Pediatric Dental Care of years and they're fantastic. All of the doctors and staff are great; they are sincerely interested in making sure children get good care and have a good experience. On top of that, their new facilities are nice and modern. If I could give another star I would.

I took my son for the consultation and met Dr. Han and his staff.The office was big and clean. They were very friendly and professional. Dr. Han was very kind and gentle. My son didn’t like the X-Ray at his previous dentist office but in this office the staff was very patient with my son so he let them took X/Ray for him. Overall, I would recommend this place if you are looking for the dentist for your children . This is the right place.

My 8 year old son was nervous about his cleaning and subsequent small filling he needed. Sophia, the dental hygienist, was outstanding in reassuring him and caring for him without rushing. Dr. Hong was great at explaining and showing me the x-ray results and clinical findings & the rationale for being proactive with getting the filling. Nancy was excellent with the insurance estimates. Pediatric Dental Care in Fairfax, VA is a great place to bring your kids. My kids have been coming here since age 3. They are patient, gentle & eases the minds of fears. We live oversea. We came to the US on our break and my two kids had their dental appointments with Dr. Han. Wow!!! The office looks so nice. The best service we have ever had. I love their dental assistants. They were all pleasant and courteous. Having bilingual staff helps greatly. If you are looking for a pediatric dentist we highly recommend this one. Brand new office that is clean and beautiful. Staff and dentist were wonderful. We went on a school holiday so it was quite busy but they were still on time and Dr. Han still took time to explain to me what was going on with my son's teeth. We had a great experience here.

We took our daughter with multiple dental issues and milk caries. She hated getting the xrays at her previous dentist office. Dr Han and everyone here were exceptional and now my little one has all her teeth fixed. we went back when one of her fillings fell off and they fixed it immediately. Highly recommend to anyone, specially if your kids need extra care beyond regular cleanup.

Being pediatric dentists they should have the latest technology in place like laser treatment for cavities not anesthetic shots and regular drilling for young children. My 4.5 years old daughter was diagnosed with 4 cavities and thank God i spoke with my friends about it, and they recommended a dentist who uses laser for cavities. We went there instead and they did 4 cavities in 45 mins and my daughter felt great during and after the procedure. Also, it took me several phone calls to get my daughter's x-rays to be e-mailed to me and when i asked for her dentist to let me know more about the cavities, she never called me back. Later on, the receptionist reported to me that the dentist left me a message and since i did not receive any messages, i was told by the receptionist that maybe some of the cavities can be treated with laser but definitely there has to be some drilling with anesthesia done as well. There was none of that necessary and i am so glad i found out about the laser. I would not recommend these dentists. They should be on top of the latest technology and informing parents about other ways to treat cavities even though they do not do it, not me doing the research.

Always friendly and patient with our THREE BOYS!! They are a handful but the staff knows them the minute they enter the door. Our kids love coming here and look forward to picking a prize and watching TV and playing video games. I'm just glad they are gentle with my boys!!!

We have been coming to PDC for 8 years, when my oldest child was 1. Since then we have had two more children and they have started going here as well. We have seen all of the doctors and no one is better than the other. The staff is great and always willing to go the extra mile to help with everything from scheduling appointments to meet your scheduling needs to making sure you have all of your questions answered before leaving the office. There is no other dentists office I will take my children to and when anyone asks, I always say my kids see Pediatric Dental Care and we love them!

Our kids are regular patients of Dr. Han since they were toddlers, so it's now been over 10 years. Their checkups have always gone smoothly, and Dr. Han has always recommended the best course of action for procedures such teeth extraction or cavities, although there hasn't been a need for cavity fillings for a number of years. Dr. Han has always made our kids feel comfortable even if they needed a tooth pulled. We used to go his office in Springfield, but since we've moved,we go to his new office in Fairfax. The offices are always well organized and clean. And the staff is friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend Dr. Han.

Dr. Fontes (our dentist) and Dr. Fleming (our orthodontist) gave our children excellent and friendly care, while Brandon Walker (the office manager) sailed us smoothly through billing and insurance issues. Judith and the other front desk staff were always warm and welcoming. The whole team worked with us to ensure a smooth transition to a new orthodontist when our military orders necessitated a move. Great place, great people! I can't recommend them highly enough.

Who knew to take your kid to a 'pediatric' dentist? I figured my family dentist would see myself and my child. But after all my friends had taken their kids to see Dr. Han, then I figured maybe I should go see a pediatric dentist. I guess it only made sense. I take my child to a great group of pediatricians in Fairfax, so why not take my child to see a pediatric dentist. I was little late to the game since my child is THE youngest out of all my friends kids. And honestly he is not cooperative at home when it comes to brushing. so I knew he wouldn't cooperate at the dentist office. Quite honestly, I wasn't sure if he would be ready or more importantly, cooperative enough. Regardless, after hearing how so many of my friends kids had so many cavities, I got a little worried myself. But since they had no issues in getting their cavities fixed and recommended Dr. Han, I gave it a go. Thank Goodness he had no cavities (for now)! Dr. Han was very nice, easy going, spent time to explain everything and things I didn't even consider such as flossing my child's teeth (never crossed my mind). He put me at ease. I can see why my friends take all their kids to see him. I definitely recommend Dr. Han.

This was my first time coming to this facility and I felt very comfortable and relaxed. I was given helpful and nice advice and even a recommendation for the orthodontist that I should see. I am extremely disappointed with their unprofessional attitude towards my son's orthodontist needs. On June 4th I took him in for molds and x-rays. I was told in a week to 10 days I would have a contract for the braces and once I signed he could get them on. Two weeks later I get the bill for the molds and x-rays but no contract. When I called I was told again that I would have a contract "soon" in the mail. I called today June 29th and they told me that the earliest I would have a contract would be JULY 10th. The office manager then rudely told me "I can pack up the molds and you can take them wherever you want." He had no interest in keeping my business, having a plan to get my son his necessary medical care, or trying to take responsibility for this poor customer service. I'm picking the molds up today and leaving the practice all together.

My daughter came in for her first tooth extraction today. The staff are excellent and fit us right into the schedule. Dr. Fontes and her assistants were amazing. Explained everything and very nurturing. Made this a very positive experience for my six year old. I recommend this practice highly. The best pediatric dental practice we have been to.

We had a couple of bad experiences with other doctors before we were lucky to find Dr. Han. From the first time he saw my daughter, I felt comfortable with him and the way he talked with her. He has his way to make her feel relaxed and calm, unlike the other doctors we have seen in the past. He even makes her (and me) smile with his nice and witty comments. We feel very happy and confident that she has the best treatment with Dr. Han and will definitely keep recommending him to our family members and friends.

DO NOT GO THERE! Very unhappy with this practice. My son had to get his filling redone twice in 8 mos because it kept falling! We changed plans and when I called to schedule the kids regular cleaning and give them our new insurance info the staff DID NOT notify me that it is out of network and will be out of pocket for the cleaning. I have never spoken to a medical office that did not provide this information out of curtesy to the patient upfront, their answer was very dismissive and basically told me deal with it its not our job!!!! Dr. Han is rude to the kids and has no bedside manor. AWEFUL place!!!
