My first time at Dental Care of Hampton today and my experience was great. I'm not a big fan of going to Dentist but they eased my mind. I can tell after just meeting them once that they will be patient with me.

The dentist is in the business of making a lot of money , instead of helping someone who recently lost they job and trying to get back on they feet,,, I needed a cavity fill and a filling back in my tooth... instead of it getting fixed , I paid 180.00 today to walk out with a temporary filling , and to come back for ANOTHER EXAM to see how she can fix my WHOLE MOUTH ... mind you , the rest of my mouth isn’t bothering me.... it’s sad ... instead of helping one another , it’s come down to ... HOW CAN I AS THE DENTIST MAKE THE MOST MONEY OFF THIS PATIENT!!!

Thank you for this opportunity to express my thoughts regarding my experience as a patient at Dental Care of Virginia. I am a fairly new patient at the clinic, and so far I have seen Dr. Christian Meyer for a preliminary exam this spring, and I had a full radiological series completed before she examined me. I felt that Dr. Meyer was very professional, personable and that I was impressed with how thorough she was. She understood my issues as an elderly person, and as a veteran with a medical history that includes two traumatic brain injuries with epilepsy, some memory loss and a diagnosis of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. She was sensitive and respectful, which put me at ease. I am optimistic that my dental care will be an improvement over former experiences at the Veterans’ Administration, although I admired my dentist at the VA and I’m grateful to him and his staff. This afternoon, Lauren did an excellent job of cleaning my teeth, and she also has impressed me with her professionalism, expertise, and personable and courteous manner. The receptionists are very nice, also very kind and professional! The atmosphere is clean, attractive, and comfortable. Thank you again for this opportunity to express myself! Dr Daniel Williams has been my dentist for about 30 years. He's been my daughter dentist since she was 4 or 5 and now she's 27. His work is A+ in my book. Be side cleanings, I've had crowns, bridge work, and caps. He done excellent work on all of this. He will give you good advice on your issue. And he doesn't take long on what he has to do. Everyone in the office is very friendly. Keep up the good work Dr. Williams!!!

I was already nervous upon arrival, because a phobia of needles. Went in for a filling, unfortunately the tooth couldn't be saved and had to be extracted. Ashlyn did a superb job in calming me, and the dentist did this shaky thing with the cotton ball to where I didn't feel the needle as bad. I can't say I enjoyed my visit, who does? But what I can say is they were great, no less than perfect....Dr.Meyers and Ashlyn were perfect, Ashlyn was with me the whole time, she really made me feel relaxed and for that I thank you both....You two make a great team!! My visit from start to finish was TOP SHELF. Hats off to all of you....

If you are looking for a great dental team, go here!! The receptionist is a very kind and helpful person. She helped me get my x-rays from my previous dentist, she remembered me by name from the phone call, and she was just super nice! When they were having trouble getting my x-rays from the other dentist they were even going to just give me some for free (which ended up not being needed). The dental hygienist was very knowledgeable. She gave me great tips and explained everything very thoroughly which I appreciated. They didn't hurt me at all during my dental cleaning. The dentist herself was also very nice and knowledgeable. She also explained everything thoroughly. She also gave me an oral cancer screening which I have never gotten done or been offered before. This is a great dental office with great staff and I highly recommend it!!

Dr. Williams again saved the day by modifying my bridge which was always coming unglued and then it had to be taken out. Right there at my appointment he took the original bridge and cut it in two sections; thereby alleviating the rocking between front and back teeth which allowed me to use the same bridge and not having to purchase a new one. Great dental practice. Staff greets you with a smile. Dentists take time to explain procedures and answer your questions. I have seldom had to wait more than a few minutes beyond my scheduled appointment time. Today was my first day coming to dental care of Hampton. I was a little skeptical walking in. As soon as I reach their suite I had amazing service! Reception was nice and friendly. I went to this clinic because of great reviews. Met the staff and they are so pleasant and has that welcoming vibe. Dr Williams was very pleasant and respectfully. He will recommend the best options for you unlike other dentist that will only suggest the most expensive treatment plan. Plus they do the claim for you (tricare prime insurance holder). I couldn't be any happier...will definitely recommend to friends & military families
