Extremely professional and comfortable waiting room and atmosphere

Dr. DeSanctis has been my dentist for since Dr. Fehrsing retired. I have some problem teeth and Dr. DeSanctis has managed to keep them in my mouth! He is one of the best dentists I have ever been to. Plus he has a great personality. He makes it fun to come to his office. And Penny, his assistant, is perfect for the job.

This was my first visit to Willard Street Family Dental . I was referred by a family member, and the experience was a good one for me. I have a fear of doctor and dentist visits, especially when seeing a caregiver for the first time. A crown had popped off, so I was forced to seek help. Bottom line: Dr. Keeton was great. He was professional and pleasant, and I plan to go to WSFD for my dental care in the future.

They did such an amazing and efficient job that I may actually make an appointment for myself (I have not been to a dentist in 20 years). I just had my first appointment at Willard St Dental, and it was such a great experience. Everyone was so friendly and competent, and I really felt like I came away with important information about taking care of my teeth that I haven't gotten from other dentists. They are very thorough in the care they provide, and they really take the time to explain things, which I greatly appreciate. The one thing I would recommend is investing in a bike rack! Since the office is so conveniently located in the downtown Burlington area, I'm sure a lot of other patients arrive by bicycle, and would appreciate having a place to safely lock their bikes. All in all, though, probably the best dentist experience I've had.

The staff is super friendly and welcoming, the facility is nice, both of the hygienists did a wonderful job, and the doctor was pleasant and thorough. First experience here and I felt it went well. Chris was my hygienist and Kris was the doc. First impressions - relaxed, friendly, and convenient. I would give 5 stars but they do not have all the fanciest new equipment. That said, you don't need that fancy equipment to do a nice job either. I'll be back in 6 mo. The gals upfront were friendly too.

Quick, yet high quality service with very friendly and informative staff. They have extensive hours that accommodate a variety of work schedules, they seem to always be running on time (I generally wait less than five minutes), both the hygienists and the dentists take time to explain things thoroughly, and they have excellent bill pay options (monthly installments with no interest). I've been very happy with them in the year plus that I have there and would highly recommend them to anyone else.

They offer early morning and late evening appointments that mesh well with work schedules, and they're located in a very accessible location in Burlington. While it may seem like a small thing, their system for sending reminders and updates via email and text has been really helpful -- I wish more businesses operated this way. Overall, I'm really satisfied with my care.

I would suggest, however, that the appointment scheduler on your web site either be made to work or disabled completely, I thought I had made an appointment request and, when the promised follow-up call was not received, called in only to find that you don't make appointments on the web site. I've been coming here for 4 years. Really friendly people, free Wi-Fi, great hours, and I usually only need to wait a few minutes before being seen. What more do you need? I called them yesterday afternoon, as I had just lost a 25-30 year old filling. They had me in that evening, and I was in and out in 15 minutes.

it's my first time with this practice but not my first time here; it warmed my heart to still see dr. fersing's plate on the door. everyone was super nice and the work was done quickly and i really felt i was in good hands. this was my first filling ever even though i can remember the nixon administration, so it could have been scary, but it wasn't. it was just fine. and it's STILL just fine, even though the anesthesia is mostly worn off, so yay!

The staff at Willard Street Family Dental is always amazing and super helpful. Adam has made it a point with each and every visit to let me know that my comfort is his top priority. At no point do I ever get the feeling that if I let him know something hurts, that he'll find it an inconvenience. Don't get me wrong though, I've already gone under the drill a couple times in the last month alone and have yet to feel anything that could resemble any sort of pain. Everyone here also does their utmost best job at not only keeping me comfortable, but educated and informed about the best routes I should go for my dental care. Just an all around great dental practice that I would seriously recommend if you're in the market for a dentist!

Awesome staff very kid friendly and most importantly they are generally on time or even early. It's very rare that you wait long before your being treated. The dr's and staff are very conscious of how valuable your time is and do thier best to give you top notch service and get you back to your day with minimal delays, but they will sit and talk a bit they dont rush you out the door. They are about customer service. They also do crowns in house so no 3 week delay or multiple visits. In my opinion that is a bonus.

Best dentist I've ever been to! My previous dentist and the endodontist they referred me to had repeatedly pressured me into getting a $1,500 root canal on a molar whose roots had apparently died. Dr. Kris Keeton took one look at my x-rays (and then at a subsequent 360 scan) and asked if the tooth hurt or if there'd been an abscess. I said no, the dentist/endodontist had discovered this on the x-rays, but I never had any pain or discomfort. Then he spoke the best seven words I'd ever heard from a dentist: "Nothing needs to be done right now." From my experience, most dentists are much more interested in their bottom line than in the health of their patients. For many years, every time I went to the dentist (two different ones), it was always, "Oh, this is wrong and that is wrong, and you need a crown/filling/what-have-you right now." I always felt like I was being ripped off. I have never heard anyone say, "It's okay, you can wait a while before doing XYZ," or "If you don't have any pain, nothing needs to be done." According to the other dentists, something ALWAYS needed to be done. Dr. Kris also discussed an implant I'm considering but haven't been able to afford, and offered to set up an affordable payment plan. He also mentioned that between setting the post and the abutment, several months would pass, so it would be easier for me to pay it off. Nobody had ever bothered telling me this before! This was my first visit, but I'm sold... this will be the last dentist I'll ever need.

Completely changed my thoughts about going to the dentist. Originally drawn to Willard Street by their late accommodating hours I was beyond impressed with everything else I’ve encountered in my first few appointments. Extremely friendly hygienists made cleanings comfortable and a breeze. As someone who is trying to get their dental work back in check Kris was great with coming up with a plan that wouldn’t break my bank yet get me the work I need in a timely manner. I recently had a root canal done by Kris and his awesome assistant and it went better than I had ever expected in both the process and always checking on my comfort throughout (I had a tougher root canal as well). You could put your dental trust in Willard Street and the team there.

I've been going to Willard street family dental for almost as long as I've been in Vermont, which is 35 years. My most recent visits were with Dr DeSanctis and a new hygenist (to me) as my prior hygenist moved out of state within the last 6 months. My cleaning went well, although this new hygenist is quite a bit more aggressive than the last. In the past I've never felt like I've sacrificed any quality for comfort so we'll see how this goes. And yesterday Dr DeSanctis repaired a small superficial cavity, a first for a very long time. He completed the task, in and out, in 15 minutes with no anesthetic which was fine. His chair side manner is positive and bubbly, but hurried, but he does try hard to make his patients comfortable. Dr Barclay made more of a personal connection to his patients and when going in it was like seeing an old friend. But times change and I'm a happy patient.
