We didn’t really love our dentist, so when we moved across town I decided to switch and chose Dr. Hammond because of his good Google reviews, but does anyone really love the dentist?? That was my state of mind at first.. my kids and I all needed cleanings but my 5 year-old had been complaining of a toothache so I wanted to get her in ASAP. So I called and even as a new patient, they got me in that very day! He looked at her tooth and saw a big cavity. Now, this little girl of mine has MAJOR dentist anxiety and was so stressed to even have him look in her mouth. He was SO kind about it, and after seeing her big cavity and her anxiety, recommended that I take her to a pediatric dentist that he takes his own children to, and didn’t even bill me for the visit — totally free just because he didn’t want to exacerbate her fears and wanted her to learn to love the dentist, even if that dentist wasn’t him! Later that week the rest of us came in for our cleanings and it was such a great experience. My other kids all loved it; the hygienists were so sweet and the kids room put them all at ease. When my 8 year-old found out she didn’t have to come back for 6 months she actually cried from disappointment! Then a couple of weeks later, a spacer that my 8 year-old had put in by our previous dentist started coming loose and was hurting her. Once again Dr. Hammond squeezed us in the same day, popped it off very quickly and didn’t charge us for the visit. Seriously so kind!! A couple of other highlights: beautiful lobby with lots of complimentary snacks (huge hit with my kids), instead of a cheap toothbrush I got a new Sonicare brush head that I will actually USE because I have a Sonicare toothbrush, we’ve been there 4 times now and I have never once had to wait more than a couple minutes for anything at all so it seems like they run a very good schedule! At my old dentist I felt like every step of the process I had to wait 10 minutes which added up to so much of my time wasted and appointments that would take hours. So, when I thought that it wasn’t really possible to love a dentist, that was before I had been to Dr. Hammond. The office is gorgeous, the staff is fantastic, and you can tell that he truly loves his job and his patients. Absolutely floored by the level of service we have received there — we will be patients for life!

I LOVE LOVE love Dr. Hammond and Kelsey my hygienist. My gums have been bothering me for a couple years. Just getting inflamed and receding in spots. I kept asking my previous dentist what was going on. It was so strange because I brush and floss religiously. She suggested surgery and also kind of kept forgetting to address the issue. These guys fixed my gums completely with a cutting edge technique that was easy and no surgery. I am so so super thankful!!! Also was talking to Dr. Hammond about veneers to fix a unique asthetic implant issue. Every other dentist has wanted to rush to placing veneers but Dr Hammond took lots of time and did research to make sure I would be happy with the end result before spending the high cost of veneers. Their office is highly professional, honest, and make you feel like a long time friend. I never felt rushed or like all they cared about is $. They truly want what is best for you and do amazing quality of work. ❤️ Update: we ended up doing two crowns on my implants and they look amazing!!!!! We were debating veneers but he was able to make my teeth look amazing with 2 simple crowns. And one was a huge challenge. I can’t believe how great they turned out. It’s the first time in probably 20 years I haven’t been afraid to laugh, smile and show my teeth! I’m even smiling in pictures again! You don’t even know how amazing that feels!!! Dr. Hammond is thee best. Great bedside manner and really cares about you as a patient. I am unbelievably happy with my new smile!

From the moment I first walked in to Dr Hammond's office, to the preliminary visit through the procedure of having my teeth re-bonded and transformed, this was an office experience above and beyond anything I had ever experienced. His staff from the greeting to the finishing were extremely personable, friendly, compassionate and professional. Dr Hammond did an incredible job taking off old bonding material from several front teeth and replacing, repairing and refinishing them to a much smoother, lighter, and brighter smile while keeping an authentic natural look of my teeth surrounding them. I did a lot of research to find and select Dr. Hammond as a cosmetic dentist for my broken front two teeth. I believed my particular case to be a challenge. I'm not America's next top model, but these front two teeth are extremely important to me. I read accreditation lists. I learned about various dentistry qualifications and what the acronyms mean. I spoke with many people whose opinion I value. I required a dentist who is focused on cosmetic dentistry. I required legitimate case examples with before/after photos. (See Dr. Hammond's photos of beautiful smiles he has created for people who's appearance is part of their career). I wanted a dentist with vast experience, but also a youthful mindset/energy for learning the latest techniques and materials. I wanted someone who teaches cosmetic dentistry and flies around the world keeping up-to-date on everything relevant. I know that the dental lab is of equal importance and I vetted that. And since cosmetic dentistry is an art, I even considered the appearance and layout of his office, including his personal style, dress and personality. (An article I read about selecting a cosmetic dentist suggested that). Honestly I just wanted the best new teeth money can buy. I had huge concern about my underlying teeth and their fragility, but I quickly observed that Dr. Hammond is highly skilled. He worked with me and the dental lab until he and I were both 100% satisfied. He has more attention to detail than I do, and that surprised me. He and his staff created an environment where I was totally comfortable discussing my unfiltered opinions. He is artistic and he is a perfectionist. I am totally excited about the end result. I admit that I wasn't really taking into consideration the staff (I didn't think about that), but this team raised the bar and absolutely floored me to the ground in pieces. They are competent and they are awesome. If I was forced to pick a downside it's that I had to travel pretty far since I don't live in Utah. But I was willing to travel anywhere in the country. I recommend Dr. Hammond for those people out there who are very particular and want a competent, skilled, artistic person to do the job correctly and to the highest possible standard. Thank you Dr. Hammond.

I’ve had lots of dental work, at lots of dentists, over many years. There’s only two dentists in the US that I will go to anymore for any dental services and Dr Hammond is one of those. In the last few years I’ve had an implant break that needed to be repaired, had crowns replaced, and consistent teeth cleaning. Dr Hammond has done all of that work, and is an exceptionally skilled dentist. He and his staff just want to do what’s right, to make your teeth last for the long term. The staff are great, know what they’re doing, and make you feel very comfortable. Go there and your well-being will be looked after better than anybody else.

Beautiful office and skilled staff! The hygienists and assistants know what they're doing and the billing admin is great at helping you figure out your insurance. Really half the battle of going to the dentist for me has been dealing with untrained assistants and admins who mess up your insurance. Dr. Hammond does great work. I have had crowns replaced and fillings done and he matched the color to my other teeth perfectly. Also the office has always been on time which is greatly appreciated.

I originally came to Dr. Hammond to have two old veneers replaced. He understood exactly how I wanted them to look, and he was only happy when they were absolutely perfect. I've also considered other small cosmetic work. Dr. Hammond has walked me through all my options and left the decision completely up to me without any pressure. I've been coming since for my regular cleanings. Dr. Hammond and Kristin always make me feel comfortable (even pampered!) and they do very thorough work. I completely trust their knowledge and skill. All my life I have had one tooth that was smaller than the rest. Although most people didn't notice, it bothered me. I would only take a picture if I was turned to my right side. I was afraid of getting it fixed in fear that it would look like a "fake" tooth and not match the rest of my teeth. Dr. Hammond recommended getting a veneer on this tooth. After a few painless appointments, I now have a smile that I love. It it exactly what I wanted and matches the rest of my teeth perfectly. I would never go anywhere else. Their office is unbelievable and they were always ready for me when I walked in the door. I have never been anywhere that even compares to the service they provide. If I could give 10 stars, I would!

It’s the first time I’ve ever looked forward to coming to the dentist. Dr. Hammond and Julie go out of their way to make me feel comfortable every time I visit—they take the best care of me. They’re so good about getting me to take an active role in my dental health and have always helped me tackle problem areas or concerns with prevention rather than rushing in to do unnecessary fillings. I have been a patient of Dr. Hammond's for over 20 years. All of the wonderful reviews you read about Dr. Hammond and his staff are true. The integrity and kindness of every person that has ever worked in that office down to the relaxing and beautiful environment make it such a pleasure to be there. My children growing up loved going to the dentist! That in itself is a credit to how Dr. Hammond cares about his patients and runs his practice. With that said, even though they are exceptional people and you can't help but consider everyone there your good friend, it's the quality of the work I want to review. With nine in my family, we've seen it all. When anyone had to have any work done other than a routine cleaning checkup, we received a call that evening from someone in the office or from Dr. Hammond himself checking up on them to make sure they were doing alright. We always received excellent quality of work. If there was an emergency Dr. Hammond always made sure we were able to get a hold of him, even if he was out of the country. He would take our call or call us back very quickly. My son was out of the state for two years and received a mouth injury while he was away. The area where he was living wasn't very populated and I was concerned how we would get him into a good dentist. Dr. Hammond went to work to find a qualified dentist for him to go to. Before the day was over my son received the help he needed. VENEER'S- The very best thing I ever had done at that office was have veneer's put on my upper teeth. It made me look a 100 times better! While I was incredibly happy with the results, I knew the work was exceptional when I had a dentist stop me once when I was out of state and ask me if I would please show him my teeth! He was very impressed with my veneers and told me that they were the best work he'd seen. My only regret is that I didn't have them all veneered! You're in the best hands with Dr. Hammond and his wonderful staff. Love them!

Best dentist I have ever been to! Dr. Hammond is very knowledgeable and wants you to have the smile of your dreams. The staff are all lovely, kind and considerate. The office is beautiful, it feels like you are at a spa. They are so good with kids. My children are excited to go to the dentist. There is a massage chair in its own room that you can use if you are waiting for a child to finish an appointment. They send you out the door with snacks and a water to go. I cannot praise the entire experience highly enough!
