These guys are very deserving of their 4.9 star rating. I had a deep cavity that luckily avoided a root canal. Steven Braithwaite filled it, and I think he is probably the most skilled dentist I've ever been to. Numbed me up quickly and painlessly, and was completely done in less than 20 minutes. His assistant was very good too. The office is nice, new, and the office staff are extremely pleasant. On top of it all, it cost less than a cleaning would anywhere else.

My wife and I recently moved to the area and labored (literally) in locating a dentist we would like, one who cared about our dental care as much as we, and one who was not caught up in all the pomp and ceremony frequently seen in doctors and dentists offices today. Remember, someone must to pay for it. On our visit 8/18/2014, Kenzie was my hygenist. I was amazed at the care and time she took to ensure that I was comfortable with her treatment. It was thorough yet efficient. Then Doctor Randy Braithwaite reviewed all that Kenzie had done then did his own work. Everything we desired in a "new" dentist, we found at Elite Dental. And the office, while not opulent, was very nicely appointed, clean, orderly and most of all, EVERYONE CARED ABOUT US. Thanks to all of the staff. We are sold.

I really enjoyed my visit there. I had reminders, they took my insurance, it was clean, and I loved the atmosphere. My visit was quick and everyone including the doctor was extremely friendly. I felt very comfortable there. This was the only other dentist I have gone to besides my childhood dentist who was also a friend of the family. I had no issues what so ever, I didn't have to wait very long at all, just enough time to fill out paper work.

I have been really pleased with Elite Dental. I love how they greet me by name when I walk through the door. They do a good job at cleaning my teeth, and take their time at doing it well. I even started bringing my kids to them because they do such a great job at cleaning. I used to take my kids to a pediatric dentist but felt like they rushed through the cleanings. Elite Dental does great with kids. I also have been pleased with the dentist Steven Braithwaite. He is friendly, honest, and does not seem to rush through things. He takes the time to show me any cavities on the X-rays and tells me if the work is necessary or not.

The Carr family began our relationship with Elite Dental when Steven was just starting out in American Fork. Through the years, we have received excellent care and attention. We had to switch providers briefly during that time and had unpleasant experiences in another office. We changed our insurance back, as quick as we could, to the Braithwaite brothers. The office is warm and inviting. We have always been welcomed with sincerity upon entering the front door. The hygienists are especially good with our children. There is a "no cavity club" board that my children hope to be able to put their names on twice a year. Overall, I can honestly say we have never had a negative experience with Elite Dental. Searched for a dentist on "Google Local" because I needed a dentist that was closer and that was available in the evenings. Elite Dental had some really good reviews online so I decided to give them a shot. I love that I get two dentists in the same office so I have access to two opinions without having to shop around. Both dentists are extremely personable and the staff is genuinely caring and friendly. I also like their in-house insurance/discount plan, which is very competitive. Very pleased all around. :-)

We have been to several different dentist offices. Due to my spouses dental issues he has had terrible experiences with the dentist. Dr. Braithwaite was honest and down to earth about what needed to be done. He has been more than willing to work on our time schedule and has gone out of his way for appointments that fit my spouses hectic work schedule. We also love the office staff and hygenists. They are friendly and informed about their practice. We could ask any of the staff a question and they would either answer it or stay with us until we found the answers we needed. With so many dentists in Utah, I really didn't know how to choose one. I'm so happy I ended up here. I was seen immediately and the hygienist was professional, intelligent, and friendly. Randy, the dentist, took time to show me exactly what was going on with my cavity on the X-ray. No one tried to talk me into unnecessary procedures, something I've had happen in the past. The office staff clearly explained the costs of the filling and all my options. This was probably the best dental experience I have had.

I received an advertisement in the mail for Elite Dental and decided to set up an appointment. I haven't had a dental exam in 2 years so this was going to be an experience. The new patient paperwork was available to print online which made the process easier. The office staff were pleasant and helpful. The hygienist that cleaned my teeth was friendly and talked my through everything she was doing and gave me pointers about how to have healthier teeth. Dr. Braithwaite was also very friendly when he came examine me teeth. I was in and out as a new patient within an hour. They even gave me a new tooth brush and floss. Plus they have TVs on the ceiling above the chairs so that you can have a distraction if you have to have work done. Great experience.

Our family has been going to Dr. Steven Braithwaite for over a decade now, and we've had nothing but good experiences. One Saturday when out little boy fell off his bike and partially knocked out his tooth, Dr. Braithwaite cut short his family's outing to come into the office and fix him up. I don't know many dentists who'd do such a thing. And while I don't recommend knocking out your teeth, if you ever do, you can count on Dr. Braithwaite to help set you aright. I'm new to Utah County. Went to Elite Dental because of a flyer in the mail...very different for me. What an outstanding experience. I went in a couple days early to fill out the paper work and the staff acted like I was a long time patient. Super friendly and seemed interested in Me... The day of the appointment the hygienist was great and kept asking if I was OK. She has soft hands and the high-tech equipment was totally pain free. Steve was the dentist for the check up and he has wonderful chair side manner. He explained everything he did and when I left they handed me a paper of possible follow up procedures and the cost of each. I'm thinking 'are you kidding me' no hidden high cost fees, everything shown up front. Elite Dental will be my source for dental need as long as I live here.

I switched to Elite Dental after several bad experiences with Stonehaven Dental. Elite's team are all really friendly and genuine which I appreciate. I was really impressed with how long they spent on my cleaning and what a good job the hygienist did. For the first time in a long time my teeth felt really thoroughly clean. She was really nice and even gave me some tips on how to prevent stains which she didn't have to do. I was also really impressed with Dr. Braithwaite because he noticed issues with teeth that I didn't even bother mentioning because Stonehaven had replaced fillings on two different teeth 3 times and I just assumed they would hurt forever. He noticed that they were actually crumbling and falling out and they were only a few months old. He fixed them for me even though it was Stonehaven's mistake. So far I really like Elite Dental and have only had positive experiences. Plus they gave me free teeth whitening which was awesome!

I have spent extensive time at other dentists offices in the area and I can honestly say I have never had them remember me personally. Every time I visit Elite, I am asked about my family, my job, etc...... They put the CARE, back in dental care. Any dental office is going to be able to clean teeth and perform procedures, but not every dental office can make you feel at home while you're there and sometimes that makes all the difference. Great dental experience. Having lived in several states and been under the care of many dentists, I have found Drs. Steven and Randy Braithwaite to be superb dentists. They are gentle in their work (I have had a crown and root canal procedure), honest in suggesting what needs to be done, and have great bedside manner. From the office manager to the dental hygienists and assistants, everyone is kind and accommodating. They are quick to schedule when an emergency arises and sensitive to their patients needs. I have been looking for a new dentist for awhile and decided to tryout Elite Dental, because I was dissatisfied with my current dentist . I was impressed with the friendliness of the staff and that both Dr. Randy and Dr. Steven stopped to introduce themselves. I appreciate a practice where they remember who you are and you don't feel like you are on an assembly line and see a new dentist each time you go. He is expert at what he does. The anesthesia is always so quick and expert. Recently I had to have a root canal, and both the anesthesia and work was done so well, I honestly almost fell asleep while he was working! He has also been willing to work with me and adapt the work done to my needs, never pushing solutions on me. All the assistants are great, Kami in particular. Additionally, JoEllen at the front desk is so good at her job, she makes everything run smoothly (and it feels good to have her remember me!). I love Dr. Braithwaite and crew. I have been seeing him now for almost 3 years and every visit has been exceptional. The office is clean and modern. The staff is always friendly and willing to help. I personally love getting emails and text messages reminding me of my visits, because as a mother of small children, I often forget. Dr. Braithwaite is friendly and always addresses my concerns and needs. I highly recommend him.

Both Dr. Steve and Randy have worked on me and I have had no problems with any of the work they have done. Recently I had an emergency root canal done by Randy. It was a hard case and I am so happy to report that after the procedure my tooth has felt perfect ever since. They are highly skilled and use quality materials. I also love that they have a high tech machine that makes your personalized crown IN OFFCE. I don’t have to deal with temporaries anymore. If you want an office who gets things fixed and respects your time, then this is the office for you. Also, free nitrous and bleaching is a great perk.

I have tried a few other dental offices in the area and NONE have come close to the service I received at Elite Dental from Dr Braithwaite and his staff! It had been a few years (yes years) since I had been to a dentist and just knew my test would show cavities. The AWESOME Dental Hygienist took the time to go over my X-Rays with me and explain in detail where my cavities were, what needs to be done and how I can best prevent cavities in the future! She truly was the BEST hygienist I have ever had. The Dr was very kind and let me know what the best way to take care of me teeth was also. The office is very clean and neat. My family moved to American Fork last year and needed to find a new dentist. A friend pointed us to Elite Dental and we are SO glad they did. We have had great experiences every time. The office is clean and new. There are TV's on the sealing. But most importantly the staff is AWESOME! They are always so friendly. They always ask about any sensitive areas and are careful as they work around them. Steve and Randy are also both great guys and do a good job. Unfortunately I have had a couple of cavities, but they have taken care of them as well as I can guess they could be taken care of. They have also fixed a few things with my teeth that have been bugging me for years. If you are not 100% happy with your current dentist, you should really set up an appointment with these guys.

I was amazed at how friendly, attentive, and encouraging they were about my teeth. Other dentists had wanted to just about overhaul everything in my mouth but not here. I was told I needed two root canals on teeth that I wasn't experiencing any pain. I didn't feel like my TMJ symptoms were addressed so I tried a different dentist. The new dentist was very surprised that I was told I needed root canals--he showed me on the film that they were just cavities and not anywhere near the root yet. This saved me lots of money and discomfort. Makes me wonder if the root canal they did on my husband (on a tooth that also had no pain) was unnecessary. The new dentist also had to redo one of the fillings that Elite had done just a couple years prior--not sure if that happens often or is a sign of faulty work, but I wasn't happy about that either. The positive at this office was that I liked how they were very clear about the treatment plans and how much it was going to cost (even if the treatment plan was overly aggressive...) and that there didn't seem to be very long waiting room times the handful of times I went.

Elite Dental is just around the corner from us. I had been looking up reviews for local dentists and while other places had lousy reviews, the Braithwaites were highly recommended. They are not in a big fancy building--but looks are deceiving. The inside is a wonderfully comfortable setting with staff that are very caring and kind. The staff is friendly and works hard to make you feel comfortable, especially for those who have a difficult time going to the dentist due to past traumatic experiences with other dentists. What made me even more impressed was when they referred me to ANOTHER dentist who professionalized in young children. My youngest was having a very difficult time and they felt this other dentist was a better fit for his needs! WOW! That showed me that they put the need of their patients above profit! They’re also VERY honest! I had them put in a crown over a year ago. At my last check up I mentioned I was still experiencing discomfort, so they offered to repair it at their expense! I would recommend Elite Dental to anyone!

I am a person who HATES going to the dentist! I have a lot of drainage in my throat from my allergies so I have to swallow a lot and I know it can be frustrating for a dentisit who needs to ge the job done. My old dentisit got frustrated with me in fact. So for a year I avoided going. Then my daughter who had been treated not so very nice by our dentisit developed some terrible problems with her teeth and I googled to find a new dentisit. I read the ratings for Elite Dental and hoped that they were true. When my daughter came back from her appointment very happy I decided to try for myself. I am extremely impressed! Not only did Dr. Steve Braithwaite listen to my concerns about swallowing before a procedure, he wasn't annoyed as my old dentist would be with my request to allow me to swallow when needed. He worked a little, stopped for me to swallow, and proceeded. The work was done efficiently and he has amazing patience! He was extremely pleasant and friendly and showed genuine care for me. His staff and brother who is also a practicing dentist in the office, made me feel as if I was their new best friend. I have looked for a good dentisit for years and feel happy to have finally found one! I give them 2 thumbs way up!

I had a horrible toothache but wasn’t happy with my last dentist and wanted to find someone new. I looked through the dental mailers I had saved and checked out the reviews on them. I decided on Elite Dental because it seemed like they had the best reviews and I wasn’t disappointed! I assumed that I would have to endure the pain for several days before I could get an appointment. I was shocked when the secretary told me they would work me in that afternoon, even as a brand new patient! I am a nervous patient. Dr. Steven Braithwaite was very friendly, gentle, and patient with me. He wanted to make sure I was as comfortable as possible and talked me through everything he was doing. He started the procedure to get me out of pain before we had even talked about payment. This was such a pleasant surprise. (The last guy I went to did not even want to meet me until after I had made a substantial payment). I felt like Dr. Braithwaite’s first concern was genuinely to help me. After I was numbed up and pain free, his secretary came to discuss the costs involved with treatment. It was great to see everything outlined upfront and I appreciated the discount for uninsured people. Fortunately I had the money to cover my expenses, but it was great to know that there are options for people to make payments if they need to. Dr. Brathwaite’s staff is as nice and helpful as he is! I was happy with everything about my experience and left the office pain free. My only regret is not getting in sooner! I highly recommend Elite Dental!

I have had 3 fillings fall out in less than 3 years all done by Elite Dental. My Grandpa is a dentist and after talking to them he basically told me they aren't preparing the tooth correctly and most likely (obviously he doesn't know for sure since he hasn't seen what they actually use) using the cheapest filling material on the market. I would never go there again to even get them fixed. for me it's worth my money to go somewhere that will actually put a filling in my mouth that will last like it should. Horrible work by Elite dental.

They have a wide selection of movies to choose from while you're work is being done, complimentary tooth care kits with each visit, and even sticks of gum on your way out. All these little things and more make the otherwise dreadful experience of going to the dentist quite pleasant. Both the dentists and the professional staff are always on the ball with reminders, knowing what work needs to be done, and making sure you feel at home. I first went to Elite Dental because it was close to home. Now I still go there even living in a different city because they do such a great job.

Being in my third trimester of pregnancy and needing some dental work done, I was very impressed the accommodations Elite Dental made for me. I was warmly greeted by a competent, kind office manager and front office staff, and promptly taken back to meet with Dr. Steven Braithwaite. He took the time to review the procedures and allowed me time to ask questions. His assistant was very knowledgeable and anticipated the tools, equipment, and processes that needed to happened while working very harmoniously with Dr. Braithwaite. It lead to a very smooth, seamless procedure. There are 2 additional occurrences that made this visit unique and comforting. Throughout the process, I was allowed to take breaks to sit up, walk around, use the restroom and stretch my legs which I greatly appreciated in my pregnant state. Additionally, Dr. Braithwaite not only served as a caring, instructive coach ("lean a little to the right, open a little wider") but also as a cheerleader ("you're doing great, just a few more minutes, you're doing a fantastic job"), making me feel supported and appreciated as a patient. With the in-office technology utilized, I left the office with a new tooth, 2 small cavities filled, a new toothbrush, and a numb smile on my face. I will continue to go back to Elite Dental for all my family's dental needs and will continue to recommend them to all my friends and family. I am a loyal, life-long customer. P.S. No one batted an eye when I brought my own pillow to the appointment. ;)
