I found this place once when they did an opening event and i was very impressed and always kept it in mind I called last week to try to get some understanding about how much it will coast me without having an insurance, so the firs call was a lady that absolutely refused to give any prices other then a check up ($80 or $90) over the phone and was rude this time i said i might had bad experience but will give this place another chance since i really liked it this time a lady answered, refused to say her name and than gave me even more expensive price for a check up - $149.99 and when i asked a range of cavity (which other places easily gave me) she said she cant give it to me because it can be that my child will need a crown.. REALLY??? she was laughing at my questions and was very impatient and constantly talked over me poor customer service, maybe it is for the best not to bring my kids here

Dr. Smith and her staff provided exceptional service. All three of my children were new patients; they were welcomed with a warm smile and all that of them felt comfortable during their cleaning. Dr. Smith took the time to educate me on future treatment plans which I greatly appreciated. The TV's in the waiting rooms and treatment rooms with kid shows playing was a bonus. My 2 children have seen Dr. Smith and her staff several times for cleanings, dealers and fillings. Everyone at her office is very nice and knowledgeable. Dr. Smith takes time to explain to my kids and I exactly what she plans to do and explain what she recommends and why. She is very transparent on costs and has been great to tell us of things that she can do but aren’t necessary at that point to ensure we are informed but not paying for services we do not truly need. My daughter has Cerebral Palsy and has some dental issues. Dr. Smith has been great to explain and recommend care that mitigates some of her issues in an easy and cost-effective manner! We happily recommend Dr. Smith!

From the receptionist to the operation our experience her was welcoming and informative. Dr. Smith and her assistant Henna were very kind. They were accommodating to my daughter as she had to get her tooth extracted. They made her feel comfortable and eased the anxiousness my daughter had before the surgery. First time I went to this place I was really impressed with the way it is well organized for kids, the reception was polite and the service was good. My both boys had cleaning and the result was really good, especially taking in consideration that one of my boys teeth were stained due to medications. But unfortunately on our second appointment I was very disappointed. The dentist seemed to be on a bad day, she saw my eldest first then came to me saying he had food between his teeth, that he was not flossing and he was lucky not to have a cavity. I told her he always has floss next to his toothbrush and I always remind him, but flossing is something new to him and he forgets. I thought it was fair she told me he wasn’t flossing but the way she said ‘he was lucky not to have cavities’ felt a bit unnecessary. When she started on my other boy, she didn’t have a nurse to help her, my son is autistic, has OCD and he takes lots of medications, so his teeth gets stained, she said she would recommend him to have his teeth cleaned every three months, but she wouldn’t be doing it anymore, that I should book with the higieniest on a time she is there ( note the higiniest is there on mornings and my kids will be at school, so I have to book on Saturday mornings). She was talking at me not with me, I felt I didn’t really had a choice. At the end, the cleaning wasn’t great, it felt rushed, and I felt like I was an inconvenience. I booked the review appointment but I am not sure I will be back.

This was my 2 yr old's first dentist appointment. I was nervous about it but Dr.Smith made her feel comfortable and was extremely patient with her. She had went for an exam previously where something I knew was a problem was brushed off. Dr.Smith shared my concern and told me how to treat it for my daughter. So happy to have found her. I called the office last week to schedule an appointment for my grandson. Melinda answered the phone very pleasantly and I expressed my concerns and the reason for my appointment request. Fast forward to my appointment today, the office was clean and very inviting with bright colors and lots of things to do for a 17-month-old. Melinda obviously relayed my concerns to the doctor because as soon as Dr. Smith introduced herself and we were seated in the exam room, she new exactly what I was there for. She addressed my concern, corrected it immediately and we left the office happy. I will be scheduling my granddaughter soon and definitely recommend this office to anybody looking for a pediatric dentist.

We had the worst experience with DR. SMITH. I took my kids to the clinic because of the rating is good last year. And DR. SMITH said one of my kid has a cavity, OK did the filling...Last month my kid said her tooth felt pain and went to see DR. SMITH. She said that's the same tooth to be filled and could not find the reason why. And then gave my kid the medicine for killing the pain. But it kept hurting. She shaped my kid's tooth a little bit down the second visit and medicine. But the pain wouldn't stop. Another week later she recommended us to see a dental specialist in the third visit. OK no choice. When we came to another dentist and told him my kid's symptoms, He said it should be the root canals problem, then took the X-ray, yes exactly. So my kid need to do the root canal treatment. But when he opened my kid's filling , OMG, It's dark inside. He ask me came closer, yes, really dark inside my kid's tooth. He told me because DR. SMITH did NOT clean my kid's tooth thoroughly before filling and let my kid's tooth to be damaged....Then he cleaned it thoroughly and showed me again, very clean no dark anymore, but my kid had to do the root canal with no choice. I talked to DR. SMITH and they edited so many reasons to avoid that's her mistake. So if you want your kid's teeth to be damaged and do the root canal , go to see her... Still denying it's your fault? Can you please tell me why it is dark inside the tooth when another dentist removed the filling? Please be honest, I am not a kid, the worst dentist in PLANO...

Bad experience and total lack of professionalism, I have to start to say is not easy to find a place where they can take kids with special needs so I found this place and made an appointment few weeks back and then I received a call last week to change it since the Doctor that can take care of my son won’t be in town which I understand is around Christmas and offer another doctor and move the appointment so I am on my way this morning and received a call to tell me that sorry they thought will be better idea that original doctor can see my son because of his special needs, not sure where the mistake was but never again with this office.

I really love this place. We used to go to a different dentist who wasn’t too friendly. Dr. Smith really knows what she’s doing, she was recommend to us by our pediatrician and after long extensive research, she was our best option! She’s professional, and knows how to be gentle and kind to children. I give her 5 stars because my son is very difficult and usually gives a lot of trouble, but he seems to do very well with her and her staff.
