I just had my first visit with Dr. Todd at Taylor Dental. My friend, Dr. Bill Cabiness, retired and Dr. Todd joined the staff to help cover Bill's patients. I was very pleased with Dr. Todd and his work during this visit. He has an outstanding demeanor and was very professional. I can't speak highly enough of Dr. Falke and his staff at Taylor Dental. I have been going there for a few years now. After moving from Elgin to Bastrop recently, I still choose to make the drive to Taylor for my dental needs. On this past Thanksgiving Day, a temporary crown came off putting me into panic mode fearing the pain would come next. Thank goodness it didn't. But, on Thanksgiving Day, I called the dental office explaining my emergency to let them know that I would need to see Dr. Falke as soon as possible after the holiday weekend was over. One of his staff called me back on Thanksgiving Day to follow up with me since they check their office calls even on holidays! An emergency appointment and procedure was scheduled for the following Monday. Dr. Falke and his staff are gracious, attentive folks to their clients' needs. Thank you all for such wonderful service!

I have been a patient of Dr Cabaness for over a year now. I have had some work done and have been very happy with the high quality of care. I even had a veneer come off on the weekend and Dr Cabaness came in on a Sunday morning to make a new one. Speaking of veneers, they make them on site. No more waiting for a couple weeks to get something back from out of town and dealing with a temporary that falls out all the time.

* Office staff bickering with each other regarding computer program and then my insurance coverage in front of myself and my son. Susan was trying to navigate the insurance info, what my balance was and schedule a cleaning for me, all while the other staff beside her was turned watching what she was doing, telling her what to do right before she did it and Susan would snap, “I know”. The other staff (jean maybe? - not Dani) wanted everyone in the building to log out of the program, and said it to Susan also while she was helping me, and Susan seemed rushed and would respond “ok, but I’m trying to finish up with this first”. I felt bad for Susan being scolded and micromanaged in front of a customer, even if the other one is her supervisor or training Susan. * Dentist and assistant were very friendly, but - * My son was in a lot of pain (getting cavities filled) after he was promised it wouldn’t hurt once he was numb. The shots were not able to get him numb even after repeated and numerous injections. I’m not sure he ever was totally numb in the areas being worked on. He complained about something sharp poking his tongue, he thought it was a sharp edge on his tooth. Dentist and assistant both looked into his mouth and said “no no your tooth isn’t sharp” and both noticed a small tip of some tool left behind poking him and reached in with an instrument to take it out and placed the small sharp tip onto the tray and said “there, it’s all smooth now” The nitrous never seemed to help him relax and he was anxious or crying out for much of his time in the chair. We really do love TDA and plan on returning, but I hate that he was in so much pain for so long.

What a pleasure it has been. Haven't seen a dentist in 2yrs. The staff is unbelievable!!!! They welcome you with a smile that makes you say, I made the right choice. Everything is explained in full detail and they welcome and answer any questions that you may have. I had my wisdom teeth removed today and Dr. Falke was phenomenal!!!!! I chose to stay awake. I was offered laughing gas, but didn't need it. Before I knew it, Dr. Falke said...we're all done! I had no heavy bleeding and was not in any pain after the knumbing medication wore off. I would highly recommend Taylor Dental/EZ Braces.

I have been coming to Taylor Denta for well over 20 years. They are professional, but also warm and friendly and you feel that they really care for you as a person. In addition, I trust them not to try and do work which I don't need. Dr. Falke is great and the whole team is up to date with the latest equipment and technology. It's a bit of a drive from Round Rock to Taylor, but it's well worth it.

Everyone in the office, from the doctors to the hygienists to the front desk staff, is amazing and friendly and caring. I didn't have to wait at all when I arrived. The atmosphere is so personal and it really does feel like family. I came for a second opinion after getting a treatment plan from a different dentist, and Dr. Cabaniss and Julie considered that treatment plan and then came up with a more practical and reasonable treatment plan that actually addressed the necessary issues. Very good service. I had a tooth ache. I went to 2 dentists prior to this one. One told me they do not do root canals and wanted to send me to a specialist in another town. The next dentist without even testing my tooth said he saw nothing on the xray and couldnt tell which tooth was bad and said I should go to another town to a specialist. When you are in severe pain the last thing you want or need is to be sent home to make another appt and then travel with this very severe tooth pain. This dentist not only scheduled me but fixed my tooth the same day. In the very kindest manner. I thank them so much for helping me and for having excellent care. Very friendly and campassionate care. A++++ Not only was the dentist but his dental assistant was fantastic as I very scared of dental work. They kept me calm. I appreciate that so much. Thank you.

My mom initially found Taylor Dental years ago, and I, have stuck with them since. They do an excellent job, I've had cleanings, surgery, and braces all applied by the team here. They truly seem to care about their clients, and they do their most to make you feel comfortable. One day in particular sticks out in my mind. I was running approximately 10 mins late for my appointment, I called to inform them, and the woman that was speaking to me ended her side of the conversation with "Okay, be safe, don't rush, we'll see you when you get here. Okay? Drive safely." That is very important to me, she cared for my well being and didn't rush me off the the phone in a rude manner. Once I got there they were able to bring me back immediately. My niece (she's 2) refused to leave my side, and the wonderful ladies let her sit in my lap while they put in my spacers. It's small gestures like that, that'll keep me coming back here to Taylor Dental. Carolyn + Jean thank you ladies for dealing with my wacky schedule. Judy, thank you for educating me more on simple dental hygiene. Jennifer + Betty thank you ladies for dealing with these funky teeth. I was new in town and came in with an emergency with my permanent retainer. They got me in within an hour of calling them. Despite me not getting my retainer with them, there was no pressure to get a full exam or other services. They were patient and advised me on different options to solve my problem. I ordered new retainers through them and am very pleased. I also did a sleep apnea test. Dr. Falke took his time explaining my results and what that meant for me now and in the future. All in all, I had a great experience and have already made an appointment for an exam and cleaning as my primary dental clinic in the future.
