My daughter had an emergency visit with Dr. Ta today. We live in New Jersey and have been visiting family here in Texas. Today my 2 yr old daughter fell onto her two front teeth. Her teeth were visibly chipped and she needed medical attention. My home dentist in nj told me to find a pediatric dentist today to take my daughter to see. I luckily found Dr. Ta's number from a local Google search. The front desk staff was amazing and told me to come right away. We were seen quickly and Dr. Ta did an extraordinary job of explaining what he will be looking for. He took his time and thoroughly examined my daughter. He answered all of my questions and made me feel as if my daughter was a lifelong patient of his. He even went so far as to give me his personal phone number in case I needed to speak with him before our flight home. I am so grateful to him and his office staff for taking such good care of us. This was a pretty traumatic experience- being halfway across the country from where we live and having this accident happen -but this office was amazing and really took care of both of us. Thank you!!

Dr. Ta is so kind hearted. He is very conservative with his treatments. When we showed up today, he was out in the rain bringing a balloon animal to a patient that forgot it. Then as we went inside he brought out an umbrella for another patient. That's the kind of man he is. He always has a smile on his face and talks to me and my girls. I know he has their best interest in mind and isn't all about getting as much money as he can. Believe me, my little one is a huge grinder and he could get a small fortune out of us if he wanted. If you want a great pediatric dentist, I highly recommend Dr. Ta!

I really cannot say enough good things about Dr. Taa. I was very hesitant to putting my son under anesthesia with his medical history for all of his dental work needed. But after visiting three different dentists for him, I went with Dr. Taa. He explained all of the x-rays to me and the treatment plan, in detail multiple times, which I appreciated after not receiving the same from other pediatric dentists. Also, the anesthesiologist that he uses, Dr Kim, is equally as patient and thorough as he is. My son's dental work was done without any issues, and I will return with my younger son. Great pediatric dental office!

My 4 year old had a cavity to fill. Dr. Ta explained everything putting me at ease, and he and his staff put my son at ease so well I don't even think he knew what was happening. He smiled the whole time and loved his balloon animal from the nurse at the end. They even made one for his 2 year old brother so there wouldn't be any fighting! I'd recommend Dr. Ta to any parent.

Dr. Taa and his staff are simply amazing. He has done extensive dental work on my two boys and he goes above and beyond at every visit. He always takes the time to explain everything and even follows-up with text messages and phone calls, making himself available any time in crisis. He even helped me on the weekend one time when one of my sons had a major tooth issue. I only wish I could reach his level of care, competence, and customer service as a professional! Maybe he doesn’t sleep. I rarely write reviews, but I just love him and his practice so much. His expertise and attention to detail is so great that I’ve written two reviews for him and owe him much, much more! Thanks so much to Dr. Taa and all of his staff for taking such great care of the Ryon kiddos. We will be life-long patients (as in my kids might actually still try to go to him when they are adults).

We love this dentist office! The staff has been great and so has Dr. Ta. They were able to recommend a great orthodontist where my son got his braces. My son was completely relaxed during his first filling he ever had while awake despite being very nervous before arriving for his appointment. They also showed so much patience and gentleness with my very strong willed five year old. Never did we feel like they were in a rush to move on to the next patient. Dr. Ta and his staff explained everything in detail and was willing to take the time to answer any of our questions. We recommend this office all the way around!

My older son went her when Dr. Pace was here and he loved it. They sold it and stopped taking his insurance so we moved to another place. They now take his insurance again so him and my younger son have started back. We were told at the another dentist my 2year old needed to be put under for a cavity I came here for a second opinion. They informed me it's not a cavity and that it is nothing to worry about how to care for it. My son also always freaks out brushing his teeth and they did great with him getting him to calm down. I'm so glad we got to come back here!

This was my 3.5 year old daughters first real experience at a dentist office and it couldn't have gone any better. The facility was very clean and kid friendly. The dental assistants/hygienists were very patient and accommodating. They earned our trust very quickly and the dentist was thoughtful, funny, and compassionate. He took the time to listen to my concerns and thoroughly explained all the options. There was no pressure to add upgraded services and no surprises at the end of the appointment at the payment counter. I will be bringing my daughter here every time and recommend it to all my friends and anyone reading this review.

Dr. Ta and the rest of the staff were amazing with our 3 year old daughter. The office squeezed us in last minute as we were looking for a second opinion with our daughter needing crowns on 2 of her molars. Dr. Ta was amazing and even though he was unable to schedule her an appointment at his office, he went out of his way and called around for us to find us somebody who could squeeze her in for a procedure in the next 2 days. Grateful for Dr. Ta and the office staff for being so helpful in such a stressful situation!

Not For Us. They do NOT allow parents to go back with their kids. I had 3 kids in the back including a 3 year old and I was not allowed to go back. I understand kids will behave better without mom, & I generally "take a phone call" if my kids are acting up and let staff do what they need to do. But this was just weird. Parents watch through a 1-way window. Kids stare at a TV with headphones on and get their cleanings - not sure how they are going to learn about dental care or how the parent is supposed to know if there was an area that is not being brushed well. At the end, the Dentist will show you the XRays. Dentist recommended 2 fillings and a root canal by an Endodontist. Went to general "old school" family dentist & he recommended 1 filing and fixed the other tooth in 3 minutes. Two stars because they were otherwise friendly and had exact insurance information ready for me on arrival. Kids got balloons which they liked, but they left without any information about their teeth. I like the kids to learn to listen to and respect professionals - they will not get that type of experience here.

I just took my 16 month old in for his first visit and could not have been more pleased! The receptionist was very kind and even got a smile out if my shy boy. The waiting room is bright and has age appropriate toys. The dental assistant and Dr. Loria were absolutely wonderful. There were some tears but they did a great job of trying to calm my son by singing and talking to him. They even took a cute picture for his scrapbook. Dr. Loria was very thorough and took time to answer all of my questions, as a first time mom I had a lot! I highly recommend this office!

Fantastic staff and doctor! If you are looking for a pediatric dentist who is great with more sensitive children I highly recommend this office. I initially went for a second opinion on a very extensive treatment plan I had been given for my 6 yr old who has enamel hypoplasia. He saved her from the trauma of unneeded dental work and additional risk of anesthesia. I can't say enough good things about him.

We have a really hard time feeling like there’s a dentist who cares, will take good care of you, and doesn’t just try to convince to do the maximum amount of work he can possibly get away with. So if you’re as skeptical of dentists as I am, you’ll be pleased to meet the staff in this office. Dr. Tuong has been the only dentist of my 2 girls he has earn the trust of my daughters and myself. When my husband and I first met him it was an instant connection the girls are difficult to trust anyone but as soon as they met Dr. Ta they felt the same as we did. This is the best pediatric dentist we found after doing extensive research! He made the visit for my anxious 2 year old possible. We were told in other pediatric dental offices that our 2 year old might need oral anesthetic or other type of anesthetic depending on her cooperation level. No 2 year old will ever cooperate during dental procedure. I was not happy with the thought of giving her such strong anesthetic for just chipped tooth. Dr. Ta was incredible! He was able to fill in her chipped tooth in under 2 minutes without use of any anesthetic. Other dentists wanted to use suction tubes and spray water in her mouth as well that terrified my child. He did not have to use any of it. He has some amazing tricks up his sleeve to make it work with such young child. Our 2 year old was still scared of course during the 2 minute procedure but it was completely painless and done very fast. What I am most happy is that we avoided the need of anesthetic and got it done quickly! I am beyond grateful for Dr. Ta and his assistant skills to work with such young children! He will be our pediatric dentist for sure and I already recommended him to all of my friends with children!

I can not recommend highly enough Dr. Ta of Pediatric Dentistry of Colleyville! We drive 40 minutes each way to take our 1 year old son to him. Dr. Ta and his entire staff are all so friendly and kind. He works hard to make your child feel comfortable and safe. We have never had to wait more than 5 minutes because they never overbook appointments. Each child gets a take home bag with a new toothbrush, a small toy, and stickers. Older kids get balloon animals. The waiting room is comfortable and filled with toys and books for the kids while they play Disney movies on a high definition TV. If you are less than absolutely thrilled with your child's dentist, I highly recommend giving the numerous award winning Dr. Ta a call! Your child will be in the absolute best of hands!

This place has a 5 star review and it earns it! They saw my daughters almost the second I walked through the door. The dentist is amazing with kids. I saw a different pediatric dentist that wanted to give my daughter 7 crowns for 6900$ out of pocket yikes! This dentist didn't say anything about crowns and said he was going to do fillings for 800$. I like a less invasive approach also.

We switched to Dr. Ta after a not so positive experience with another dentist. I wish I would have switched my girls to Dr. Ta sooner! They loved going to the dentist today. My son had a wire poking him in the cheek from his braces. Our orthodontist is quite a distance from our house, so we checked to see if Dr. Ta could clip it for us. My son who is 4 was complaining about his back tooth for a couple of days before we realized it was chipped. We called his previous dentist and they said they weren't able to help because they weren't a Pediatric Dentist. Mind you we have been going there for a couple years now and they never said he needed to see anyone else. So we called Dr. Ta office and they were able to get us in the same day. Dr. Ta was very helpful and educated us on what was going on with my son's tooth. We went in today for his tooth procedure. He was very fast and I was able to watch it from a iPad they provided. My son was a wiggle worm but Dr. Ta and he's staff did an excellent job! I LOVED this office. I highly recommend this pediatric dentist to anyone. I will be coming here from now on. Very pleased on how professional everyone is. Loved how Dr. Ta was really outgoing with my son.!!! I wish I was able to give more than 5 stars!!!

We switched pediatric dental offices a couple years ago when of one of our good friends, also patients of Dr. Ta, insisted that we do so. We were leery at first, but it turned out to be one of the best decisions we ever made. From our first interaction on day 1, to each visit afterwards, Dr. Ta and his staff have treated us like family. I love that my son always asks when he gets to come back, haha. For me, I also appreciate how thorough Dr. Ta is with his recommendations but efficient at the same time. It is clear Dr. Ta and his staff genuinely care about their patients. He is very knowledgeable and detail orientated and has a knack at communicating in a way I can understand. He truly has a natural talent with kids, evident from his excellent bedside manner. I hesitate to write this review as I really want to keep Dr. Ta all to myself! As the mother of 4 children 9 and under, one of whom has serious dental issues, finding a good pediatric dentist is critical. We recently moved to the area and I was persuaded by the Yelp reviews as well as Dr. Ta's credentials to give his office a try. I am extremely glad I did. We have been to many pediatric dentists through the years as we move frequently, and I can say without hesitation Dr. Ta is the most hands on, diligent, knowledgable and thorough dentist I have had the pleasure to work with. We have now had 3 visits to his office and each one has been a delight, as much as a dental visit can be. Our initial visit to this office was with all 4 of my children, ages 3, 5, 7, and 9. We were greeted by a friendly receptionist who genuinely seemed glad to see us. (4 kids - genuinely glad - that says a lot!) Each child had their name on a tooth on the board, and they were excited to see their names. The reception area is beautifully decorated while managing to be child friendly without tons of childish decor you find in some child centered offices. It felt appropriate and comfortable. There are books and toys to be found easily, as well as a TV with child friendly movies playing. My children needed to do schoolwork so the receptionist kindly turned of the TV since there were no other children there at the time. It is a small practice making personalized service paramount, as we have experienced each time we have visited. Dr. Ta personally gave me a tour of the office while his staff entertained my children, and he took me back with the 3 year old and showed me exactly how to take care of the kiddos' teeth. When it came time to discuss treatment options, I was walked through each child's needs thoroughly while, again, the staff took care of my kids so that I could fully concentrate on what was being discussed. I never felt rushed or uncomfortable, I knew where my children were at all times (it is a small office), and I felt very informed when I left. My 7 year old had extensive work done yesterday and it was as painless as possible. He was happy to go to see Dr. Ta, he was happy when he left, and I was particularly happy when I received a phone call from Dr. Ta personally today checking to see how my little guy was doing. An excellent experience with an excellent dentist. I couldn't be happier and I really appreciate the smaller, personalized practice.

Highly Recommend Dr. Ta! Today was Jaxson first day and he did so good. Dr. Ta was very interactive and kind even wiped my son's boogies lol. Great clean atmosphere staff was very nice!

I took my 4 year old to Dr. Ta's office a few weeks ago and he had a great visit! Dr. Ta took the time to explain everything I need to know about my son's dental issues. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. And it was the first time I saw my son so relaxed during the visit! He had a great experience! When we got home that day, he was so excited to brush his teeth and even more conscious about having clean teeth! I am so glad we are able to find Dr. Ta's office. Now, I don't have to worry about my son not comfortable seeing a dentist! I highly recommend Dr. Ta!

Dr. Ta is absolutely wonderful. I took my 4 yr old for his 2nd visit and could not be more pleased! I thought he was going to give them a hard time like the first visit, but not at all. We have had 4 appointments here so far and we love it! My daughter has had fillings and other extensive work done. Dr. Ta and staff are amazing to work with. Dr. Ta always talks to me about his recommendations and explains why. He is so patient answering my millions of questions. My daughter who had the work done, always knew what was going on and was always treated with care and compassion from the entire staff. While doing the procedures they even painted her nails! It is a way to get her mind off things. I also got to watch the procedure via an iPad. She loves going there! Thank you so much Dr. Ta and staff for taking the time and making each one of our visits amazing! We will not be going anywhere else! <3

Dr. Ta is amazing. He explained everything in detail to us. Not only once, but twice. His anesthesiologist Dr Kim was also amazing. Made us feel at ease and also went above and beyond to help keep our son comfortable. They both exceeded my expectations by calling and texting me to check up on my son that evening. My daughter loves Dr Ta and the staff at the office. They are all very sweet and attentive with her. I feel confident that my daughter is getting great care and trust completely Dr Ta recommendations. He is very knowledgeable, kind and you can see he takes pride of his work and loves working with kids. My 12 year old needed a tooth pulled and was so scared that her regular dentist referred us over to this office for her tooth to be pulled. It was was great experience. She left smiling. I never knew why somebody would bring their child to a pediatric dentist instead of just the regular dentist, but now I know. They were so much more equipped to deal with her (over dramatic and scared) feelings. They gave my husband an ipad to watch in the front office and he said that it was a great experience. Highly recommend this office.

We took our son to Dr Ta because he was recommended the best. We never spoke about removing my sons teeth. My son is disabled and had a hard time handling things. We made him aware of this. At his dr office my son got RSV from a toy and got pneumonia. He spent two weeks in hospital recovering. I’m sure they do not clean the toys. He ended up calling me after my son was already asleep in survey telling me we had to pull due to his grinding it his teeth. He insured me he would send him home with pain meds and he would handle it fine. My son aspirated during this surgery. Took him home that night and he was in a lot of pain. Called the next day and he never returned my call/ not the office when I informed him of the pain and high fever of 105.4. Took him into the ER. He couldn’t breath and the pneumonia spread so bad all over his whole chest. My son was then placed on life support. We are still in the hospital a month later and they have yet to even ask how he is knowing he aspirated. Be very careful. This happened to my child from him and could easily happen to yours. After pulling 4 teeth and NO meds, no call back was inexcusable. They didn’t think my son was going to live and he is still struggling to breath. 4 Doctors have said it was due to this surgery. Think wife before letting him do any procedure on your child.
