This place rips you off. This is the only dentist office where I've ever had to pay above what is covered by my insurance during a cleaning visit. Due to this, I decided to leave this dentist and go to another one. I had let Pecan Park know that I no longer was going to be a patient, and they claimed that I didn't show up for a visit (after I changed dentists). I told them that I would never just not show up and that I did in fact let their office know I was leaving, but they insist I pay a $70 "no-show" charge. I strongly recommend you do not go here.

The staff is polite and even though I'm only there 2x a year they remember me and are happy to chat. When they get me in that dentist chair I never feel like I'm in the danger zone. From the moment I walked into this practice I felt like I was in the best place for my dental care. The office is beautiful: clean, spacious and comfortable. I was greeted warmly and my wait time was minimal (less than 5 minutes). The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and they took their time with me. The hygienist D’ann was efficient and explained everything she was doing all while making me feel I was chatting with my best friend. Dr. Schoening was professional, thorough and friendly. The Hygienist Kim was awesome. I hate the dentist and dread going, but the staff here is very pleasant. The front staffers Marie and Kendra were very sweet. One of the assistants Dominic came in while I was getting my teeth cleaned and started joking with me which made the experience more personal. The dentist, Dr Bangs, came in and was to the point which I appreciated that way I could get about my day. After leaving my teeth feel great and clean. 10/10 would recommend.

This office has a bunch of old, dried up hags (the dentist and the office staff) I sent my daughter there and she has been having problems with her teeth and gums. These hags made fun of her in her face-damaged her self esteem further. What kind of business is this?!!! DONT GO HERE!!!! They are TERRIBLE!!! I wish I could report bad behavior and rudness to the State board!!!. I will never go back there. Especially that office manager Cheryl, she is the worst. She lied to my face and said she didn't say anything! You were the main one. At least own up to it. They also violate HIPPA practices. They told me personal information about another patient. Unprofessional.

Pecan Park Dental is the best dental office I have ever been to! Even though we moved farther away my husband and I still drive to this office because we love it so much. Who enjoys going to the dentist anyway?! I do! The office is in a very nice, new building and it all feels very clean. The waiting room has a separate area for kids and they even have toys in there. They have plenty of magazines to look at and complimentary coffee and tea from a Keurig. The ladies at the front desk are very engaging and remember my kids and other things I've talked with them about. They are also great at communicating - I love that they confirm appointments via email. It is very convenient for me. The office was closed due to icy roads and they promptly called me early the next morning to reschedule me. It made me feel like I wasn't just forgotten.They also do a great job helping me understand my insurance. I actually had a claim denied by my insurance and when I went in for my appointment the ladies at the front desk handed me a copy of the denial letter as well as a letter they sent in to my insurance company for me to appeal. I ended up winning the appeal and getting the services covered by my insurance. You don't find that kind of customer service anywhere! They didn't have to do that. I've had a pleasant experience with the dental hygienists when I get my teeth cleaned - they are very kind and explain everything they're doing. Dr. Schoening is very professional, yet very personable. She has given great guidance on several issues I've had with fillings, crowns, and having the crown on implants replaced. She's given a referral to two different specialists that she works with and they have both been great as well. I can't explain how nice it is to have a dentist I feel like I can trust. I've had several bad experiences in the past. I would recommend this office to anyone. They go above and beyond!

I've not been to Pecan Park Dental but was a patient of Dr. Bangs when she was with another office. My front teeth were broken and they told me verniers where the best way to go and they were guaranteed for 10 years (which was not true). I had one break in 1 month and they fixed it but told me that if it happen again that it would not be replaced. I really wish I would of gone to another office and got a second opinion, I've been told several times since that verniers should not have been a option because they are not strong enough and well they definitely are not and keep breaking. To make matters worse they where not sized right to begin with, this has also caused a lot of stress cracking and breaking. To sum it all up, I've paid thousands of dollars for a lot of hassle and a terrible smile I'm ashamed of. Yes she nice and her staff is nice but get a second opinion and save yourself a lot of time and money!

My root canal was absolutely painless and it only lasted about 25 minutes and I was back on my feet and on the road to recovery.
