Spectacular job by all staff members! Dr. Mara is exceptional. The only criticism is I scheduled as a first timer with one Dr. & saw another, the switch was also not discussed in the office however, the treatment redeemed the change.

The new dentist here (2017ish) is really great. They've had some churn with their dentists, I've had 3 in about 3 years, but the most recent, Dr. Herman, is really great and she tells me she plans on staying there for a long time. I hope that's the case. The hygienists Kathryn Smith and Jenna are really great too. I just took my 4 year old here for his first dentist appointment and they really worked well with him and made him feel very comfortable with everything. I was super nervous about his first dentist appointment, so I was relieved that everything went so smoothly.

Since having braces as a teenager, I have never liked going to the dentist. I'm so glad I stopped in to schedule an appointment here. They have an amazing new patient special, especially for those of us without insurance, even a really awesome gift!! I was impressed from the moment I scheduled my appointment (with Crystal?, I think that is her name) all the way through my appointment today. As I left, I said, "Well I'd say this was fun, but it wasn't...however, you guys made it as enjoyable as it could have been." Dr. Bulsara was amazing and I felt she genuinely cared about me as a patient, and as a person. She listened first and then treated. Huge appreciation to her. Diana, my dental assistant, did a great job with x-rays, molds of my teeth, and general conversation that was enjoyable and memorable. Tyler, the office manager, was kind and understanding when discussing payment options and made the dentist not feel like it was an "office". And Kathy, my hygienist, she got down to the nitty gritty, but she was amazing and made me feel as comfortable as possible for my procedures. I loved chatting with her and finding out she was familiar with my old home state! The office is extremely clean, they have goodies for you, including a Keuring while you wait, and everything seems very well organized. Everyone here was amazing, and provided I am in the area, this will be MY dentist. Thank you!!!! =)

I'm really happy I chose to come here. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Dr Laughlin-Mobley is excellent! She was compassionate and listened to my concerns. I felt like I was in good hands. At one point during my extraction I needed a break. I asked Dr Laughlin-Mobley if I could have a few minutes to rest my jaw. She said of course. No one made me feel like they were in a hurry to get me out. They also had a great pricing/ payment plan. Definitely gonna recommend this place to my family and friends.

This place sucks. I was told I needed two crowns and an $1100 dollar cleaning . I did not need any crowns. The lady who cleaned my teeth was rude and made my gums bleed more than they needed too. RUN FROM THIS PLACE . IT IS A TOTAL RIP OFF

I went in for a routine cleaning. This was my first visit here so of course I had to go through the normal x-rays and preliminary things that they do for first time visits. After seeing both the hygienist and the doctor they recommended all this stuff I needed for over $2500 (with insurance) that entailed a deep cleaning for $373. I'm like ok well I can't do what you recommended because I didn't come prepared for any of that today. Well the lady from the front desk who explains all the cost was like ok and she proceeded to take everything off and at this point I am totally confused because I still had not gotten my teeth clean. I said well I still want my teeth cleaned. She responds with well it doesn't make since for us to do a regular cleaning if you're not going to do the recommended deep cleaning and proceeded to usher me out the door. I thought a recommendation was just that, a recommendation and is optional, apparently it was not.It was the worst dental experience I have ever had. If you're not prepared financially for the "recommendations" that they give you, please don't waist your time.

Dr. Herman and her staff is by far one of the most knowledgeable, professional and kind group of people I have been treated by. Dr. Herman always takes her time to explain procedures and the pros and cons of them and I never feel confused or unheard when I leave my appts. Definitely recommend coming here!

Dr. Madson left -- they claim I needed a mouth guard and I paid $250 for it, However, the work that was done was not the best job and caused jaw problems. I returned the mouthguard months ago and I have tried multiple times to get the refund. They continue to ignore and not send the funds. I don't trust them at all. Also the work they did on a crown caused an infection and then caused me to need a root canal. I will never go back -- I still don't have the refund and now will dispute it with my bank -- stay away finally -- I got the credit

Excellent experience. The front desk Mary and Amanda are super knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. Dr. Laughlin-Mobley is amazing! The hygienist and xray tech know their stuff. Great experience, convenient location and I felt comfortable coming in for my checkup and getting a filling. She even did an adjustment for a previous crown that was bothering my bite. So helpful. I also got a dental plan that is affordable and good for our family. Such a relief! Thank you Dr. Laughlin-Mobley and team for creating a nice environment and place to feel comfortable.

I have had really good experiences so far and even though my tooth removal was painful, the dentist and oral surgeon were top notch, very caring and professional and answered all my questions. I highly recommend them.

I have been going to Northwest Austin Dentists for several years. Best dental practice in Austin- from the front desk staff to the hygienists, to the dentists, this place is fantastic. They explain everything, give you options, and do a very thorough job. Highly recommend!

I choose Northwest Austin Dentists because it came highly rated through my insurance website. Upon going into Northwest Austin Dentists I found out that the dentist who was highly rated was not who I would be seeing. This was not made clear when I made the appointment. During the appointment it was clear that my dental health was not as important as getting as many patients in as possible. It's a complete patient factory. Despite my bad feeling about the place I went back to have two cavities filled since I had started treatment there. When I got back I was seen by a different doctor who was not acquainted with the specifics of my treatment plan. She then gave me so much Novocaine that my EYE went numb and my mouth stayed numb for 8 hours. While filling my cavity the dentist talked about what she learned in dental school which is when I realized it was quite possible I was her first patient.... ever. She did not know what materials were available for fillings at the office and deferred a lot of decisions to the hygienist who was working with her. It took 90 minutes to fill two cavities. I could also hear her and the hygienist talking about hitting my nerve in front of me but not to me while drilling inside my mouth. It wasn't until I whimpered that the dentist spoke to me about what was going on in my mouth. I now suffer from SEVERE sensitivity in the two molars that were filled. I am not confident in the treatment I received and I am paying extra to have another dentist look at what was done. I would not go here, and if you do, be specific about who you are seeing.

I am so thankful to all the Staff from Northwest Austin Dentist, the Two at the Front desk started off with great CUSTOMER Service and as they heard me in pain they got the Dentist Dilbar Brusara quickly and her Assistant talked me through my pain until the meds kicked in and The Doc was Awesome with the removal of my Tooth . Thank you and I Will Definitely tell people to go to them for all there dental NEEDS. They are Very Sanitary, Helpful and COMPASSIONATE. I GIVE THEM A 10 ACROSS THE BOARD. Staff are friendly. Very nice facility. My only suggestion would to be up front with them and get the prices from this first before any procedure. They have an assortment of additional services they will put you through in anticipation of getting you to pay the tab. I went n for a teeth cleaning and the charges that came back were excessive. Again, good place, but not very open uup front about costs associated with procedures or the will breeze through them which can make it confusing.

I like the staff here but I am really starting to get irritated with finding a suitable insurance company that they will accept. I am not offered coverage through work so all individual PPO plans are kind of crap with long waiting periods and NWDO will not accept anything else. I am also frustrated that when an action plan is created for you, there is not really any follow up from everyone involved with it. I am now having to pay for a more expensive procedure because I was not told that a separate portion should have been done sooner to avoid this. I was under the assumption that step 1 had to be fully completed before proceeding.

I had to switch dentists after 20+ years due to an insurance change. I got approved as a new patient, had my records sent to the office. The office had nothing on file for me. When I tried to make an appointment the front desk person did not understand my frustration in having to provide all information again. Effort, Emotion & Success drive the experience of a person. I couldn't make an appointment without a ten minute phone call & repeating of information. In addition, the front desk person stated I was yelling when I wasn't. I"ve never been to this office & will not be going there given the poor patient service provided by the front desk person. I do not recommend & given the rest of the reviews, it appears most have had a negative patient experience.
