I was seen here for a general dentist appointment. And to get information on a crown placement. I was advised that I needed to have a few teeth filled. Got the fill and a few weeks later filling came out without any hard/sticky food or eating habits. Followed up with a different dentist and advised him of what happened. He than told me that the xrays/fillings I had received from Mint did not need to happen. And it appeared that they just wanted to practice on me/get paid. I have not been back and currently have a lawyer not pursuing this case.

I would recommend Mint Dentistry to any and everyone. The staff are professional, courteous and helpful. The young lady that worked with me helping me to decide what was the best action for me to take in getting the work done to my mouth was exceptional. She was so patient and knowledgeable. She presented different options to me to get it all done working within the scope of my insurance. This I appreciate greatly. But that's not where it ends. The most impressive part of my visit was talking to my dentist, Dr Markavitch. Please forgive me if I misspelled your name. I was greatly concerned about work being done in my mouth that was not necessary. Dr. Markavitch reassured me that the dentists at Mint Dentistry are not paid based on production which would incentivize some dentists to perform unnecessary procedures. Quite the contrary at Mint Dentistry. I was very apprehensive before but very reassured after. I made the right choice by going to Mint Dentistry. THANK YOU!!!

You guys are just awesome all the way around. Before I came to Mint I had seen the same dentist for 30 years so I was nervous to say the least. Every time since my first appt with you the service has gotten better and better. The payment plans are amazing, the dentists are friendly and thorough and the hygienists are gentle and caring and you can tell that everyone enjoys working for you...and who doesn't like a massage chair! I tell everyone I know to come see you!

Do NOT go to Mint Dentistry. I thought it was super gimmicky and figured there was probably a catch, but there’s one right next to my office and it got decent reviews, so I decided to give them a try last month for a routine six month cleaning. First of all, they spent close to an hour on x-rays alone. Before they even began cleaning, the dentist came in and told me I had FOUR cavities, including one so severe I would need a root canal. She kept pointing to different areas of my mouth and saying, “Don’t you have pain there?” And she was very upset that my honest answer was NO. I went to my old dentist six months ago and had no signs of cavities forming. And I brush my teeth at least twice per day. So I didn’t understand how this could be happening. THEN a “financial specialist” came out and gave me a price quote. Would be close to $1000 out of pocket, even with my BCBS dental insurance, to repair all of my issues. They did the cleaning and I left, very upset about this stupid financial burden I suddenly had to worry about. Once I got back to work, I realized something didn’t add up. I called Mint and had them send over my x-rays, which I promptly sent to my old dentist for review. Three of the so-called cavities were not cavities at all. One might need a filling, but definitely not a root canal. And Mint acted like these were all extremely urgent. My old dentist said I could easily wait until next year (when insurance resets) and have no issues. It’s a scam. 100%. They lure you in with free cleaning and whitening and “you can watch Netflix while we clean” and this is how they make their money back.

I had my first patient visit today! I loved it from the moment I walked in. The ladies upfront stood to greet me(Jessica and Celina). The dental assistant Mary was so wonderful. Hygienist and Dentist were great as well. Also a plus getting to watch friends through my whole visit.

First visit: Extremely high pitched sound from within my room. I expressed discomfort from the sound. I was sent back to the lobby. Then reseated in the same room. The sound had been fixed by running what appears to be some kind of extension cord. Not re assuring. Signed up for the monthly payment program and was told that I could have my teeth fixed for a $50 visit. Second visit: I was under the assumption that this visit would fix all my issues. Shortly after paying and being seating in my chair I was made aware that I need five more sessions. It felt underhanded, whether intentional or not. Midway through my filling their air compressors broke down. Apparently “this usually happens when all the rooms are going at the same time”...?? Becoming more and more un easy as time goes by. Eventually they patch the compressor and rush to finish what they can. 1: No one seems to be on the same page. 2: The light that hovers over you while in the chair looked to be cleaned with a filthy rag (both visits separate rooms) 3: At certain times there are no less than 3 people in the room all looking for some tool. I tried twice but I can not go back or recommend this place. Should have stuck with my gut after the first visit.

So I made an appointment at this place specifically for wisdom extractions. Got there my daughter got examined, cleaned and given a whitening kit. Throughout the process I kept asking so how much for the extraction? When will the extraction be? Once they finished with her I was told they would give me a call regarding the extraction... WTH?? So I never got a call... We came here for this only...? Not what I requested and stated online & in office. So lets fast forward 4 months i'm sitting in Monarch getting my daughter's teeth extracted and i'm told I have to pay for her exam, because I already used my allotted number for the year... WOW really??? That's some BS. I should've been told from the jump that this location does NOT do extraction and use another dentist. Not waste our time and money... I'll never visit this place again!!!

Today I went to Mint for the first time after not going to a dentist or over 2 years & they are FANTASTIC!! Diego was awesome from start to finish, talking to me, making sure I had music or Netflix. Also Dr. Margavitch was absolutely AMAZING!! I had a bad experience in the past which I was nervous about because my bottom teeth were very painful, but she was great & made sure to numb me & check ever couple minutes to make sure I was perfectly comfortable! Wasted my time coming there because after I arrived there gave my Id’s for while filling out the form. A person from their staff walks up to me to me with my cards in hand stating we do not accept federal Blue cross. Which is fine but they could of told me a month ago. When I called and set up the appointment. One I gave my insurance when I set up the appointment on the phone. So they could of callled or text me especially since they text you constantly reminding you of the appointment and threatening of a $50 cancellation fee if you do not inform them ahead of time. Well the same should go for us customers because I wasted gas and time coming to their office and was told just “ I’m sorry “. Basically to bad to sad you wasted your time, Next!!! I went today all the staff was amazing until the dentist came in she wad so mean to me she belittled me and mad me cry. I have several dental issued stemming from any abusive and neglectful childhood. I've never feel so horrible and I've never been treated so ugly she made me feel like trash Like I wasn't even worthy of getting my teeth fixed. Everyone else was absolutely amazing. The dentist was absolutely the worst. Literally made me feel like totally dehumanized. So terribly sad she is supposed to help people not make them contemplate suicide.

The service I received was not not acceptable, and they couldn’t do a basic procedure that was had previously been done by my dentist in her office. They wasted my time and I will not be returning.

My husband was originally scheduled at the legacy office and then the day prior we received a call saying they no longer had an in network provider. I spent two hours on the phone with mint dentistry and our insurance to find a solution and it ended with us scheduling an appointment at this office with dr margavitch who is listed as in network. My husband is active duty and took time off work to get to his appointment to be told they refused to see him because he didnt have prove of insurance and when he told them that's his id card they said it wasn't. Then when I called the office manager she kept saying they dont take tricare. I explained over and over how my husband is united concordia and approved for remote locations and her dentist is on the in network list. She then said it doesnt matter our corporation will not see active duty.

Hands down, one of the best dental offices I’ve been to in the DFW area. The staff is amazing, and made me feel at home the minute I stepped in the door. Went in today for my cleaning and new patient check out and my hygienist Madison was absolutely amazing and cleaning and explaining everything didn’t hurt one bit and not a single once of discomfort which is always good at a dentist. Dr. M checked me out and gave wonderful news ... my teeth weren’t that bad which I though they would be horrible!!!!! Amazing crew here in Plano.

I've been going to Mint Dentistry for 3 years now and I wouldn't have it any other way. I recently had a problem experiencing tooth pain. They got me in and Diego was very informative on what my very mild pain rooted from. He then told me that he would get my permanent crown expedited and he did just that. This happened Tuesday and here I am sitting in the chair Friday. Thank you Dr. And Diego! You guys are awesome!!!

Very nice staff and I called to set up an appointment and was able to get in an hour later. I would highly recommend this dentist. Everyone there was cool and very knowledgeable. I have always disliked going to the dentist, but they made me feel very comfortable so it was a much better experience compared to past dentists I have gone to. I was also allowed to pick the music i wanted so I was jamming hard rock the whole time. The chairs are also massage chairs which was nice and something I had never experienced at any other dentist.

Very upset that this office wants to decide what they want to do with my teeth. If I want a tooth pulled I should be able to do just that. I don't like that they demand I have cleaning done first and then return for extraction considering the first time I went they chose to do a deep cleaning which ate up all of my insurance. Sad that I have to take my business elsewhere instead of the completing x rays and pulling the tooth.
