Very impressed with staff and Dr. Darnell . My first office visit today . all treatment is very well explained and presented. I worked in Dental offices for 15 years . I have enough knowledge to be able say if a dentist has your best dental care interest put first. Not just out to make money off of patients.I know a lot of patients are concerned about this. I received a root canal from Dr. Darnell years ago in Albuquerque when he first opened his practice. It turns out that he did not fill in one of the roots in my tooth during the root canal. For years after it bothered me and would ache every now and again. My new dentist finally had me go in to an endodontist where we discovered the root canal was done wrong and had caused massive decay in my jaw bone. The resulting surgery cost me $2,000 out of pocket (insurance wouldn't cover it). I'll forever regret going to Dr. Darnell.

Dr. Darnell is not only a dentist, but a magician ! I can not believe that I had a dental implant (large molar) and I never had any pain whatsoever. I was prepared to take pain medications, but never even had to take Tylenol. The implant went so well that I could not tell that I had any work done except for the fact that there was a small piece of string from the stiches from the surgery. I am traveling to Southlake from Ohio to have Dr. Darnell work on my teeth this summer. I can't imagine going to another dentist.

Exceeded my expectations from the moment I walked in! For my milestone birthday my sister surprised me with a Glo-Pro Teeth Whitening pack. I was greeted with warm smiles as if they had known me for years. Although they knew I lived in Canada and would probably only see me once, they still gave me a questionnaire to get to know me better. They were incredibly thorough before getting started with the procedure; I even got a check up and thumbs up from Dr. Darnell. To top off the phenomenal results , Dr. Darnell's wife Veronica has taken care of me all the way back to Canada, making sure that my Glo-Pro gels are topped up since I can't get them here. I wish I could transplant the whole practice North. :)

This review is long over due, I think about writing one every time I am here. Dr. Darnell and his team are so special, unique, professional, hospitable, and accomodating! They have been instrumental in bringing my teeth and smile back to good health! They genuinely care about you and you feel it when you are there! I am a bit of a wuss when it comes to needles and drills, but my anxiety goes away when I know I am in the care of Dr. Darnell and his team! Even when I was stuck in Mexico in the worst situation ever with my teeth, they were there for me! I really could go on and on about how my experiences are bar none! Thank you for everything!

The dental hygienist explained everything to me since I have issues when it comes to having x-rays done and it went very smoothly. Dr. Darnell is a life saver!! My wife had an emergency and Dr. Darnell re-arranged his schedule to fit her in for an emergency appointment. Due to the negligence of another dentist, my wife had a failing implant that was about to fall out. He had a 3d x-ray taken of her entire jaw in seconds and properly diagnosed the problem. He also took the time to explain to her what was happening in very a caring, easy to understand manner. He was able to extract the implant and restore my wife's jaw bone to allow for a new implant in the future. Not only was she pain-free after the procedure, but the positive outcome was more than we could have ever hoped for. Thank you Dr. Darnell and team!!!

We moved to Southlake in November. In between getting our kids situated in school, unpacking boxes and getting ready for the holidays, I had a major dental issue arise and needed help as soon as possible. I found Dr. Darnell's name and called them.His staff was able to promptly get me in the following day. Dr. Darnell immediately identified the problem and explained in detail what the problem was. I was going to need 2.5 hours of dental work done and I was pretty nervous. I have "TMJ", which only further complicates doing any dental work on me. I am only able to keep my mouth open for short periods of time because my jaw will begin to hurt. Dr. Darnell was very concerned about how well I would tolerate it and wanted to make sure I was comfortable the whole time. His assistant was extremely kind too! She even rubbed my jaw when I couldn't bare to keep my mouth open any longer. Our 4 children have been to see Dr. Darnell as well. Our kids say that they don't even feel like they are at the dentist when they are there. Dr. Darnell shows real interest in them and what they have going on in their lives. He's pretty funny too! Thank you Dr. Darnell and staff. I am so happy that I stumbled upon you.
