Dr Flores is one of the most patient dentist I have ever seen. No matter how busy he was he always gave me his full attention. His staff is awesome and quite entertaining. I laughed at every visit. We all need to laugh at a dentist visit !!!! Jill was right by my side through my implant process, always assuring me it was going to be great in the end. She was right !! Missy, the office manager well, she's a story all her own. Lol I always felt at ease. Everyone was professional but at the same time made you feel like their friend. I would tell anyone, if your looking for a dentist, you really need to go see my friends at America's Family Dental !!! You too will have new friends. Thanks guys for my new smile.

I had my teeth cleaned by dental hygienist Jessica and examined by Dr. Flores. Jessica was very thorough on the cleaning and did her job professionally. Afterwards Dr. Flores examined my teeth and while looking at the x-ray dental assistant Tish performed found I had a severe sinus infection. Thank you Dr. Flores, Jessica and the whole dental office team for taking the time to make me comfortable and for doing a thorough examination. I highly recommend this location.

We needed some work done in a pinch. I chose this practice based on all the positive reviews and will NEVER return as a result of the way my daughter was treated. During my 8 yr. old's first time to ever experience an extraction (scary experience for little ones), they kicked my husband out of the room so that she was left alone there with just the dentist and his assistant - and NO PARENT ADVOCATE. My husband told them he would stand outside the room. Then they proceeded to promise my daughter they wouldn't hurt her at all because my husband overheard them...then they they HURT HER TWICE and had to stop each time. A talented dentist I used to go to once told me: NO ONE SHOULD EVER EXPERIENCE PAIN IN THE DENTAL OFFICE, EVER, ESPECIALLY A CHILD. And I never did with him, but he knew what he was doing. When the front desk receptionist called to check on my daughter later, I told her how disappointed I was in this entire experience. I never heard back from them. Not an apology. Not a follow up. Nothing. Although they advertise as a "family" practice, the entire clinic is designed with adults in mind. There is nothing extraordinarily special they have or do for young children. Parents, don't make the mistake my husband did. You DO NOT HAVE to leave your child with them. YOU ARE IN CHARGE and your child's greatest advocate. If ANY dentist bans you from the room, ask yourself why they are adhering to 1970s practices, what they are trying to hide, and go somewhere else. This isn't a heart transplant. If you get the excuse that the room isn't big enough, ask yourself why they designed a room that doesn't fit a parent advocate and then called themselves a "family" practice?? We experienced other issues with them as well. They were supposed to follow up on my dental work and send a few proposed treatment plans, but they never did - even prior to my daughter's experience. My husband found the front desk receptionist unfriendly and indifferent. I experienced this on the phone with her. My husband noticed there were photos of the dentist and her and my husband tried to make small talk while waiting. He asked her if she was related to Dr. Flores. She responded "Uh no, we're just really good friends". Is this why she thinks she can interact with patients so smugly? Not a warm, friendly place for families and especially young children. And just like another reviewer mentioned, I do not trust Dr. Flores' prognosis that I have extensive cavities.

Staff is EXTREMELY rude. Made an appointment for 12PM to get my wisdom tooth extracted. Dentist gave me numbing cream at 12:08PM and didn’t come back in until after 1:00PM to check on me. When I expressed how I felt about it, no one seemed to care, so I left. Please do yourself a favor and do not go to AFD.

Went there as a new patient and told them I don’t remember the last time I had gone to a dentist but it ended up only being 6 months ago. Anyways they end up apparently finding 6 cavities in me. One which was a priority to get a filling soon. Something didn’t feel right since I hadn’t gotten a cavity since I was a small kid I ended up going to another dentist and they checked the x rays and my mouth and they ended up not finding any cavities whatsoever . Even told me there was barely a stain on my teeth. Really disappointed since this place had a lot of good reviews but they really just tried to scam me lol. I’m making sure I don’t go there ever again cause they just want your money honey $$$

I am a Leo. I believe in the truth Finding the perfect dentist is the secret to a good life. American Family Dental is superior because you forget you are at the dentist. No pain. The dentist, Dr. Flores and his assistant, Kitty, are prefect. Dr. Flores is always happy and Kitty keeps me calm and laughing because I can be a difficult patient. After going here for five years, I have had crowns, and two extractions and two bridges All done with no pain whatsoever. Why so much? Because in my YOUTH I did like so many of you skip the dentist. Sakina does the cleaning and constantly reminds me of keeping my appointments, The front desk with Kyle who gives out the treatment plans which fully explain the charges. Her job is hard because patients know our teeth are important but we still get mad, but she remains calm with a smile. My review is long. I am a retired teacher and I love to help people like I helped my students. This dentist office located in a secure part of Sp-ring with lots of parking and convenient access to -45. In addition, Dr. Flores and his staff will take the time to give you other health information that may be related to your dental problem. He has such positive energy that reflects how his office runs. Emergencies are handled immediately. Missy and Lorraine handle the insurance claims. That is important. They mak,e sure the insurance is processing the claims ithat is fair to their patients. n One of the main reasons I return to American Family Dental. Texas is so big with so many different insurance companies. Takes two full time employees to handled this job., American Family Dental is worth every dime I pay.

I came from Cypress to see Dr. Flores specifically after researching the best dentists for veneers. I’m so glad I found him, the girls in the office are an added bonus! They all have beautiful smiles with veneers, and Dr. Flores did them all. They made me feel so comfortable and confident about this expensive procedure. Angela is the absolute best, she has AWESOME energy. Dr. Flores is very knowledgeable and professional. Above all else, I appreciated his transparency and straightforward demeanor. Anyone who is considering getting veneers has to come see these guys first. I love the atmosphere they have and they've always been attentive to my needs or concerns. Having not seen a dentist in over 3 years, they made my first time back comfortable and seamless. Would highly recommend. Oh and you get to pick your choice of movies to watch while you get your teeth cleaned.

I started seeing Dr. Flores many years ago, but when I moved to the inner city, found a dentist closer to home. What a mistake! I have since decided to come back to see him and the fabulous ladies in the office, even though it's a 45 min drive to see them. My first time nack after several years, I noticed that all the same staff was there from years ago - that speaks a million to the environment they have for the staff to still be there. Everyone is always so welcoming and accommodating, and remembers each patient like they are your best friend catching up. I never feel uneasy coming in, and know they always have my best interest in mind and will explain everything with complete and open honesty.

I hadn't been to the dentist in longer than I like to admit. After reading the reviews, I decided to give AFD a shot. From the very beginning my experience was very pleasant. I didn't ever feel shamed or looked down upon for not visiting in ages, though I was very self-conscious. Every detail was discussed financially with tact before any decisions were made. I respected the openness and care. The work was top notch and my experience was overall very positive. Everyone was friendly. I can't say the same for the last dentist I visited. If you want a pleasant experience where you're treated with respect and care, I recommend AFD.

Oh my goodness , I am the biggest chicken in the world when it comes to going to the dentist , and unfortunately I’ve always had issues with my teeth . Finding this office was an enormous blessing in so many ways . They are professional ,gentle , kind , fun and incredibly patient ! I do not do well with pain and I can honestly say that my experiences here regarding pain in anyway is nothing compared to previous establishments. The staff and dentists are amazing , I actually look forward to coming , sometimes ! If you have to go to the dentist and we all do , this ya the only place I will go!

Two years ago I came to this dentist office needing a lot of work done. I had not been to a dentist in quite some time because of my anxiety. Over the last two years I had two molar root canals and multiple fillings. I initially left this office because of multiple instances where the lady in charge of insurance was not kind to me and my wife. She would not find another specialist for my stepdaughter after we went to the original specialist and were told they did not take our insurance. Then she proceeded to argue with me and my wife on separate occasions about the issue saying they did take our insurance. We finally found a specialist but it was too late and two teeth had to be pulled. She's 8 years old and has already had two teeth pulled which may have been avoided if the insurance lady had found us another specialist. Then I had an issue with one of my root canals and the dentist said I could go to a specialist to see if they could fix it, which at the time he thought was doubtful, or pull it. Due to my busy schedule I finally decided to pull it and made an appointment. When I got there they only had me scheduled for a cleaning. I inquired about the tooth pull and was told the dentist was not available to do the work. I asked to speak to the dentist but instead was greeted by the insurance lady. She proceeded to get into an argument, reading my charts, saying that I needed to see a specialist first before pulling my tooth. By this point I had puss coming out of my gums for over a month. After getting up to leave the dental assistant came to the front desk, apologized for the insurance lady's attitude, and proceeded to take me back to have my tooth pulled. After telling the dental assistant about my experiences with the insurance lady, and that I would not be returning, I was told she would speak with her and give me a call later that day. I never received a call. I had to find another dentist because one of my fillings chipped and had to be replaced with a root canal. The new dentist explained the filling failed because one of the crowns done at America's Family Dental was set too low and was putting too much pressure on the filling. Now another one of my crowns on a root canal has chipped and I will need to get it replaced. Over a two year span and thousands of dollars spent I have had a root canal fail causing a molar tooth to be pulled, a filling chip causing a root canal, and a crown chip. I understand that crowns and fillings are not permanent. What I do not understand is the amount of failed work that has occurred in less than two years and how we were treated by the insurance lady. The new dentist also would not perform the root canal herself. She explained a specialist, endodontist, should perform root canals on molars. I was a little confused but after having the procedure done by the specialist I understood. There were multiple things I noticed the specialist did that were not done by my dentist at America's Family Dental. The next day there was no soreness unlike my two previous root canals where the soreness in the area of the root canal and my jaw lasted for multiple days. I was also told during my last visit with America's Family Dental that I still had multiple cavities but the new dentist said I had none even after explaining what I was told during my last visit. It has taken me a long time to gather my thoughts before writing this review. After visiting another dentist, I now understand that America's Family Dental has many issues and I will not be returning even though my chipped crown is still under warranty there. I hope to anyone who takes the time to read this entire review realizes that this is not just based off one moment or one day. This is based off my two years experience at America's Family Dental and after receiving dental work at another dentist. Update:crown placed w/in last 2 years fractured and replacing it is $1,050. Update #2: Another crown fractured and needing to be replaced.

I hated the dentist, due to every dentist I've been to is very rough and is painful. Since I've been going to Dr. Flores (2013), everything has been smooth and easy. Never feel any pain. Rates are not very high. Definitely recommend him to anyone.

NEGATIVE 100% This is the worst dentist I have ever gone to. They left me with a bridge six times lighter than my other teeth. I could not believe it was permanently adhered, without even showing it to me. I complained, and even went back to see what they were going to do, but they did absolutely nothing. The root canal I had done there was so sloppy, part of the pin broke off, and it was not sealed properly. I ended up with a huge abscess and lost the tooth. I wish everyone could see the picture of the X-ray in order to see what a sloppy job it was. I suggest everyone stay as far away from this dental place as possible.
