I am in the process of getting dental work done on me and my children. Allied managed to get my youngest son with the most troubled teeth, to comply and 95% of his work. I am pleased. However, on my end my 2nd appointment was met with a couple of challenges due to a misunderstanding. I caught a flat, had to switch from a suit and tie to jeans and a t-shirt, it was 90+ outside and I had to cancel my appointment because I could only afford to pay for my son. The manager and I conversed and found a solution. I have a couple more sessions before I can 5 star Allied but as for now regarding my son 5*****'S. Dealing with a new facility is a learning experience, once trust is established then it gets better. I have Dr.Taylor and I have to commend him for his professionalism. Erica was the first person I met in the facility and she is indeed an asset to Allied. Overall we have work to do. Next up...deep gum treatment. AKC

WORST dentist ever ! The front desk staff is very unorganized. I came in for a root canal on November 20th I was suppose to come back in for a follow up to do my crown procedure a week later but they told me that they forgot to send out my X-rays!! HOW DOES A COMPANY "FORGET TO SEND OUT X-RAYS". It is now December 23rd and I haven't received any phone calls from the office regarding to my root canal procedure. They don't call you for follow ups or to let you know anything YOU have to call. I came in to finally do my crown for the root canal on Dec 23rd over a month ago and now they said I have to do two follow up appointments and knowing that my insurance expires at the end of December said I can't have the appointment done unless I pay $527 plus additional fees out of pocket!!! So, due to their mistake of not sending out X-rays it made the procedure even longer. ALSO by them not contacting me and always telling me to call back made it even worst. I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone there is a reason why there not rated 5 stars not even half!

I had an appointment for 2:00 and I got to the place at 1:45, initially I was told I'll be taken in as soon as I am done with my paperwork and the lady up front( Vanessa) is done scanning it. I waited for 40 minutes before Vanessa rudely told me I had to reschedule because something came up on their end. So I cancelled my appointment and walked out. I have never had a worse experience with a dentists office. Unless you have a lot of time on your hands, I would recommend not going here.

Never again will I come to this establishment. First off, I was scheduled for a wisdom tooth extraction because I was in so much pain. They scheduled me TWO weeks after my visit. I couldn’t wait, so I kindly asked if there were any closer dates due to the pain. They said yes, come in on Monday. So I decided to take the week off of work to do the procedure and recover. When I got there on Monday they told me o couldn’t get my teeth removed because mondays aren’t the day the surgeon is available. So I’m asking why would you give me that date now. The receptionist told me “well it was a miscommunication. If u need this done u can wait until Friday or find somewhere else to go”. I walked straight out of this place and will never return! Such unprofessional, inconsiderate people.

I've been coming here for the last 10 years and I live at least 30 minutes away but its worth the drive! My son had a lot of issues with his teeth, from caps, to fillings, to braces and they have done an excellent job with him. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Dr. Moon is great! Very professional and friendly staff. I hated dental work and was never a fan since I was a kid (who actually does like it though?). But Dr. Moon and staff are very accommodating and answered all my questions. I recently had to have an implant done for my front tooth (worst tooth to ever have an issue with) due to a childhood injury, and i was of course very nervous. I was well taken care of and the procedure went well. My smile looks great now! Waiting room wait can be a bit long but it’s worth it. I recommend friends and co workers with the same insurance there all the time.

First things first stay away!! I came into this office Thursday night and was greeted by one of the rudest women I’ve ever met in my life. First of all she didn’t even say hello she greeted me with “name?” Then when she try to find my appointment by my last name (she had a hard time finding it). I stood there awkwardly for a while while she tried to find my appointment while texting on her phone at the same time!!! I was RIGHT THERE. Seriously?!? I felt necessary to ask her if she had found it yet where she then told me “I’m new Lady you need you to calm it down” all as if my attitude was not justified. The front office looked like an all-around free-for-all. Every employee on their phones. the waiting room had kfc bags all over the place. The only good thing about this place is Dr. Taylor and his staff. But even thats not worth it! To top it off as I’m walking away to sit down on the chair I hear her saying “what a rude “B****” “” as she closes her little glass door which frankly she’s lucky was there. This place is beyond despicable it’s beyond fixing it beyond improvement, there’s very little this office could do to redeem themselves. They squeeze you in like animals, literally curse at you, and the only thing this office cares about is making more money. sorry guys NOTHING u do will bring me and my family back. I try to talk to a manager myself with no luck on the phone and no email listed on the site! looks like your own office gave me no choice but to post publicly. Stay away!!

Caring, Professional and A+++ Experience I recently moved to NJ from Atlanta. Had extreme tooth pain and Allied was listed as a provider on my insurance plan. That's all I knew, I had no idea what to expect other than I needed pain relief. Dr Taylor was compassionate, kind and fit me in his packed schedule. He was extremely professional and gave me 2 root canals. I must say (I have had a couple other root canals in the past that were terrible) and the entire experience with Dr Taylor was without pain and he made sure I was comfortable the entire process. His assistant, Sayonara Olive was a complete joy. She understood the painful situation and was on top of things. She made me feel I was in great hands as she was knowledgeable and professional as well. She has such a nice demeanor / aura that she actually made me smile and laugh a couple of times; easing the situation. I highly recommend Dr Taylor and the practice. This is my new dental care provider as I establish my new home in Jersey!

I have been visiting this office for the past 6 months for a root canal treatment. The process was not easy but Dr. Taylor did a fantastic job, hes very friendly and has a great sense of humor. He is also very professional and makes sure his patients are not in pain. The scheduling at this office is very inflexible for those that have a 9-5 job which was the most frustrating part the most about the experience, the assistants at the front are not understanding of that at all.

Make sure you talk them beforehand about what you want done and what you're signing. They had me pay more for a routine cleaning and exam without tell me they were going to charge me more because of my condition. Will not be going back. They made some extra money off me today but lost a customer.

After being told I needed to see an endodontist, by my primary dentist, I called around, and was told that Allied Dental took my insurance. I verified that they had an endodontist that took my dental insurance, to which they confirmed. Made the appointment, telling them I needed a consult regarding a root canal. Arrived at the office, filled out my paperwork, was called in fairly quickly only to be told I needed to see an specialist ( basically that I need to see an endodontist). On the plus side,.. the staff seemed friendly.

I had a minor surgery scheduled 3weeks ago finally the time arrived I set in the office for hour and a half I asked what's going on they said another 5 minutes I set for a another 20minutes some people start complaining to! Overscheduling is reducing customers!!! I never go back there again!

Do NOT trust these monsters! They destroyed my teeth and gums intentionally bc I called them out on insurance scams. They drilled a heart in my tooth, drilled my gums away, drilled the enamel off my teeth, she filled 6 teeth that did not have cavities and filled them incorrectly so that they now have cavities that can’t be seen on X-ray. Do NOT trust them with your teeth or health. They will destroy your teeth without thinking twice. They think they are untouchable, and Dr Zimnes has absolutely no moral compass. She literally removed my gums and dug gouges in my teeth laughing and smiling with the dental assistant. She has no care about losing her license. I’ve talked to multiple people who she did things to. Neglecting to put posts In Peoples teeth so the tooth falls out. Filling teeth incorrectly so you need a rootcanal. Be careful there are so many criminal dentists, and she is The Head DEMON!!!! Be smart stay far away from Dr. Demon Zimnes, and all the rest of their dentists are the same. They will break up your appointments one tooth at a time just to bill insurance and they absolutely ruin Medicaid people on purpose. Look up Moral Compass on Facebook.

I have been to one other of the Allied Dental Offices & I had no issues there, although from my first phone call to the Allied Dental of Old Bridge, to my first visit, and the list goes on I found a level of professionalism that all offices should have. They always have room for emergency appointments, as well as the Doctors have actually gotten on the phone when necessary, which is not as common as years gone by. I highly recommend this office!

I have had a problem with my tooth for a while and Dr. Taylor of Allied Dental was extremely helpful. My tooth was in a very bad condition and Dr. Taylor saved it. I have never had such a great experience with a dentist before. Dr. Taylor is extremely professional and courteous. I was thoroughly impressed as he listened to me in detail with everything I had to say as well as answering all of my questions. I strongly recommend you to visit him! Normally I don't write reviews but I am so angry I had too. Made an appointment with this dental office for 11:00 am. Received a call from the office the night before stating they were confirming my 12:45 pm appointment. I explained to female on the phone when my appointment was and all she could do is schedule it for 12:15pm. That was strike one. Then I got there at 11:55 am had to wait till 12:30. Not to long of a wait but still pass my appointment time. Strike two. Once in, I received x-ray's and nothing. No cleaning, no nothing. But still stuck paying the whole $80 bucks for x-ray's and cleaning. Was told I might need a deep cleaning, which was double the price of any other dentist I've ever gone to. Left there very angry having to pay for nothing. Normally I take my daughter there with no problems. Lets just say her and I will never be setting foot there again.

I had recently taken my 9 year old to this Dentist, lesson learned. I will not take her there again. The Dentist spent a couple of minutes with us after making us wait for an hour. (5 minutes tops) The overall experience was disappointing. - the appointment for a different day, when we got there we were not in the calendar - the girl who received us was impatient and for lack of a better word somewhat confused - the rescheduled appointment we had to wait for the Dentist to take a peak and say everything was good - no suggestion of sealant or the fact that my daughter's teeth was crooked was addressed or that my concern given ample explanations. - the associates who had contacted my provider advised me that a full work up was already done on my daughter, this confused me because as i had indicated to them this was a new insurance provider for us. They had advised us to contact them and settle this ourselves. When we contacted our provider, they had advised us that no inquiry was made and that our records is clean. All in all this experience was something i will never repeat.

I was told I had a small cavity..was given a shot in my gum for the pain that dripped down my throat and made my entire mouth numb. After the filling was completed and the numbness wore off..I was in the worst pain ever experienced by a dental visit in my life. When I called her back, she told me "I guess I went too deep...you will probably need a root canal" The pain was like I was punched in the face. I refuse to go back there...obviously ! I had no pain whatsoever...went to the dentist and actally paid to have PAIN ! My tooth is not only super sensitive to hot,cold and any kind of air...but is now loose as well. After I have a REAL dentist evaluate the damage....They will be hearing from my attorney !

they are completely unprofessional and rude. as soon as they don’t like something they let it be know. They have rescheduled my appointment with the oral surgeon 4 times already because he keeps calling out. This has been one of favorite visits ever to a dentist!!!!! First, I had one of the coolest techs! Cindy held my hand while what i thought was going to be painful shots......to my surprise Dr. Moon was able to make that i didnt even feel the shots!!!!! Great job guys!!! Had appt for 12noon, it was my first time there so went at 11.45. Both the receptionist at the desk were so busy on phone. So, waited, then one of them gave me the paper work, filled it and gave it back.After 30minutes wait and seeing that everyone who came after us were already taken in. Appt was for my 7yr old, also had my 2yr old with me. Went and asked, the lady was so rude, she said, I came in late and took 20mins to fill the forms..... unacceptable behavior. Will never go there again.

I had a couple of root canals performed by Dr Taylor and his staff over several months. They were very professional and my discomfort was minimal. They took me in on time and I was very pleased with the length of time each procedure took. I was very impressed overall,and now my teenage son is a client too. I will definitely go back to them in the future if I ever need more dental work.

Allied Dental is the name, negligence is their game. If i could give zero stars i would. Listen to everybody else. Do not go to this place. They will do a terrible job, neglect you, and you will pay a fortune fixing it. A lot of better places near by. Stay away from allied dental. Had a root canal done there (2 teeth) with Dr. Taylor. Not even 1 week later, the new tooth got loose and a serious infection started to build over the course of the next couple months. Every time i went back, i got prescribed antibiotics and pain killers and that was it. His suggestion to fix the problem was going to cost me 2k out of pocket even though the root canal, that he screwed up, was cover by insurance. 2 years later im still dealing with this and im 5k deep in trying to fix this issue. The infection ate through my bone and gums. I had to rebuild the bone and now in the process of finalizing the new implants (by another dentist). To top this off, i went back just the other day because the temporary tooth (just composite filling the gap temporarily) fell and all i needed was to have it put back. I told him this is only a temporary thing and the implant was being done in 2 weeks. He comes in saying "we can't" "I can't" "i dont know" and then suggested a $1,500.00 solution. HOW COULD YOU SUGGEST A $1,500 SOLUTION THAT WILL ONLY BE USED FOR 2 WEEKS. Went home after that and my sister put it back in place, all it took was some effort. Officially never going back and will continue to let everyone know not to go there and especially not go see Dr. Taylor. Btw the sad part is I didn't head the warnings from a freind whose daughter went there to get her wisdom teeth taken out and they accidentally cut her tonsils. They tried covering it up and told her it was normal. The woman was taken to the ER and treated for this. Allied Dental is the name, neglagence is their game.

Horrible place. They make you wait. The front desk people are very rude. First time they did not even had my appointment properly and had to reschedule. Second time, too. They just took X-ray and sent back. Third time, they did not have our appointment on list even though every time, we got phone confirmation and made us wait for 1 hour. It's high time management changes their front desk people and put people who know the job. Very bad experience. Never going back again. Would not give even one star.

I have been going to allied Dental for about 3 years and I have always been very happy with the service provided by the Dentist and their x-ray Technicians. I've had some issues Allied Dental but nothing major. For Example, once I received a payment from my insurance company directly. I then gave the receptionist the check when I went in for an appointment. I received a call 3-4 weeks later inquiring about the check. The person on the phone from the billing department said she could not locate the check and ask that I call the insurance company to get a replacement check. I was annoyed but I did it. I had to call the insurance company and of course there was a long wait before I was able to speak to someone. The insurance company agreed to issue the check again, since the first one had not been cashed. Months later I got another call from the Dentist office because they had not received the check and I had to call the insurance company again. However, today I witness something that has me outraged. A customer came in with her son and while handing in the paperwork apparently she forgot to answer a question. The receptionist directs her question to the child and says do you speak English? Tell your mother she needs to answer this question or you will not be seen today. Then she proceeds to very loudly give the mother a lecture, telling her that this is why she must bring somebody who speaks English with her since she could be signing anything! The receptionist says" I told you this when you made the appointment! The whole time the lady did have somebody with her to translate standing right next to her. The receptionist was so loud that everyone in the waiting room was now paying attention to the scene instead of the TV. For the rest of her interaction with the receptionist we were all listening, that patient not only did not have privacy but was subjected to a vicious attack by an unprofessional receptionist, in my opinion. When I went in for my appointment I asked if there was anyone in the office who could have been called to help. I was told no, there is no one who speaks Spanish there. The Doctor said there is someone who speaks Spanish but Spanish is not her first language. I proceeded to tell her what I saw in the reception area and I was told she understood and would pass on my message to the Office Manager. She said, " we serve a lot of different ethnic groups such as Indian and Arabic and we are not able to provide service in their language which is why we tell them when they make the appointments that they must bring somebody who speaks English". As I come out of the examination room and I walk to the reception area, I hear everyone in the office laughing (including another patient, her young son and a woman who I later realized was the office Manager) as the Receptionist from earlier is saying something about how the patient must peak English! My appoint was at 4:30, I came out of the examination room at 5 and they were still talking about it. I turned and I saw the doctor who nodded indicating she was waiting to speak to the Office Manager. While I am still waiting, the Office Manager finished speaking with the Doctor and I hear her say Bravo probably in response to the Doctor telling me they just can't provide service in everyone's own language which I understand. However that is no excuse for acting like bullies and embarrassing a person they way the receptionist in this office did. The larger problem seems to be that this seems to be the general attitude of this office. As I said the Office Manager was present when everyone in the office, in front of patients was laughing and making fun of another patient. Also I was still there when the office manager finished her conversation with the Doctor and the Office manager did not talk to me to express her discontent with that kind of behavior or about taking any kind of action to correct it, which is why I am choosing to make my complaint public.

My kids and I had an appointment for dentures consultation and cavity. • I was told one price for consultation, which I paid in the office, but then I start receiving additional bill for the same thing. Apparently they didn't confirm the price with insurance, so it is actually twice higher than I was initially told. If I knew I wouldn't do consultation. • I had a cavity, so I needed a filling. Previously I had a lot of metal fillings which, over years, I almost replaced with normal ones. But in this office, without telling me, the doctor filled the cavity with one more. Since metal fillings aren't considered dangerous (even though they are as they contain mercury) not office or insurance will deal with it.

The office is very good but Debbieis not that good because I need the mouthwash and she told me over the phone that I don't need it when I need up and using them over for a while and she refused to give me a refill she's very terrible person she don't cares about the patients oh she cares about is her paycheck and that's it because of her I have to wait until April with no mouthwash this is ridiculous somebody has to do something about this because of DebbieI can't get the mouthwash that i need and also because of her my mouth is sore because she didnt give me appointment to go see the I want for my appointment in living in the first time in a month was they all lie to me there are a whole bunch of liars jamie it's the worst hygienist that I've ever met she said that I kind of get the mouthwash because the rain are your teeth and I don't have gone to see that I really need it she said but she don't know what she's talking about in this office everybody do what they want because the manager doesn't know anything about the people that manager doesn't care if you mad or sad or anything she okay with his the money her paycheck or she cares about the paycheck she gets and that's it she don't care about people or health either

While I'm normally very well cared for by allied dental, their wait policy has caused an issue for me recently. I had an appointment for 11:30AM but wasn't seen for well over an hour and I wasn't allowed to leave to get a breath of fresh air. I get very anxious going to the dentist and the fact that I couldn't leave without "losing my spot" as the front desk person put it, is unacceptable. The dentists, hygenists, and oral surgeons are very accommodating but I'm really upset with the front staff. I literally asked to go next door because I was feeling cramped in because of my anxiety. Zero accommodation. It would really suck if I had to find a new dentist because of poor front desk policy.

I don’t understand how they could take people that came after me and they didn’t even wait for 10minutes.. when I went up to ask the staff how much longer I had to wait , she told me about an hour. Very poor service. First I’ve been trying to get a claim resolved through my insurance and this office had no record of paper work which was mailed to them 3 times. I had to walk over and hand it over to the front desk assistant. Second , had a filling done over a year ago and apparently Dr..... didn’t not do a good job, the filling is gone and now I have to get a root canal , which by the way the second doctor claimed he didn’t feel comfortable doing a root canal ( you went to school for this )! Just unreal , I guess he’s lazy and didn’t want the challenge. Then he prescribed antibiotics which will not help with the toothache and referred me another clinic that doesn’t NOT take my insurance . I’ll NOT recommend this dental office to anyone !

Dr Taylor and his staff mistreated my son saying it was just soreness and we ended up at another dentist because of a massive infection that they never caught . They were unprofessional on the phone when my son was begging to be helped . This office is a meat market and has no patience when they make a mistake in which caused us great anguish and Pain that wasn't necessary!!

HORRENDOUS. I've unfortunately had to go here recently. Their wait times are upwards of 40 minutes- and thats even before you get into the exam rooms! From there, they make you wait anytime from 30 minutes to AN HOUR before a Dr. comes to see you. When they finally come in, the Dr. spends barely 5 minutes with you before running out of the room- not even waiting to see if you have any questions or even telling you anything about your current dental health. EXAMPLE: I had an appointment in the morning today. I got there 10 minutes early. They didnt call me in until 50 MINUTES LATER. 10 MINUTES AWAY FROM IT BEING AN HOUR. People who came in 20+ minutes after me went in for their appointments before me. When I went up to the front desk to ask them why it was taking so long, it turned out that the receptionist hadn't even gotten my folder out yet!

Management team is awful, in a medical field the management team need to be more careful and professional unfortunately in this office isn't. My Appointment was scheduled 6 months before, but 2 hours before the app they called and asked me, that my primary Dr. Supposed to update that unprofessional stuff...at the last hour. They need to do thier homework on time, check note in computer. This is the second time last time they did a mistake in bill. Dr.(s) and Operation stuff are nice and good. If the owner need approval, I have it.

Though the staff is very friendly, the wait time for appointments is way too long. Every time I come I have to wait at least 45 minutes to be seen. Once I waited 2 whole hours. Why set appointments you can't keep?!

I went in February had an infection. They gave me antibiotics and scheduled me with the oral sergeon for april. I got a call one week prior, they cancelled the tooth extraction. I reshedule the appointment for July only to find out the day of, when i call to ensure everthing is okay, that they would like to schedule me for Friday. I said are you kidding me? The Dentist is a joke he doesnt want to pull my tooth period. Four visits no extraction. Very unprofessional... If you dont have great insurance dont bother, they will put you off for someone who brings more money in. Dr Jake Moon (The Snake) just wants that $$$$$$$$$$$Thanks

I made an appt at 4:00pm i arrived 15 minutes early to take care of any paper work as it was my first time. and wasnt attended to till 6:00pm. I tried being as patient and as nice I possibly could be. I was a few seconds of getting up and leaving. My tooth extraction took less than 10minutes. Theres no way I would ever step foot in this office again. And its ashame because only had they know I need $3000 worth of implants that I am ready to spend on.

I have been a customer for a while, ups and down, went today, had an appointment with dr Haleem, a young lady who is new to the office, very very good, did a couple of fillings, fast, Professional, didn’t even feel the Novocain, that’s how good doctor Haleem is. By far the worst experience I've had with someone who claims to be a medical professional. I should have read the horrendous reviews before going to this poor excuse of a dental facility. I appreciate the kindness of the front desk ladies, however Doctor Taylor is lazy and does bad work. I should have talked to my father before going, who got a crown done by him that fell off after only two years! Typically an insurance company will not cover another crown until after five, but so many people complained about Dr. Taylor already they covered the price of another dentist fixing Dr. Taylor's bad work. As for me, I went in with a dental emergency, in pain with a broken tooth sensitive and aching to the gum. Even after discussing coverage for an emergency filling with my insurance company (they cover it), Dr. Taylor still refused to alleviate my pain, due to nothing besides his own LAZINESS. I went to a different Doctor the same day, who had no issue fixing my tooth and making me not completely lose hope in dentists after my terrible experience with Dr. Taylor. Funniest part of it all, his exact words for why he wouldn't help me were, "that'll take me too much time" DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE, unless you want an inconsiderate Dr. who tries to fool you about what your insurance will cover, and will take the fastest easiest way out with not an ounce of care for what's best for you. If you must go here, see ANYONE BUT DOCTOR MICHAEL TAYLOR.

Went in to get fillings done. ended up with all 3 of my back teeth bonded together. cant floss any of those teeth. the filling wasnt sculpted around my tooth even so theres hard dry pieces hanging off the edges of my teeth cutting my mouth for some time now. pieces of it break off and its miserable. never had a filling done so sloppy. and never the less it took 45 minutes for such a horrible filling. Dr.Taylor seems to be very careless in his work. Seems like he is all about the money! he said i needed a root canal, and yet there is no medical need for one. so NO THANK YOU, you will not break and damage my teeth just so i can come back and give you more money. really sad on his part! UPDATE 7/29 : this is my second time seeing Dr.Moon and i must say he is absolutely WONDERFUL! i got a filling from him as well as a fix from previous dentist and he did a fabulous job. my previous fillings i was in pain for about 4 weeks (from previous dentist). with Dr.Moon i was able to eat like normal in 2 hours without ANY discomfort. incredible. i HIGHLY highly recommend him! Super quick & painless. i was in and out in no time. I am very pleased and look forward to his work. i rate him 5 stars! great office!

I had went to this dentist when I was younger and stopped going for a while because my fear got the best of me. When I went back I was still very scared. Dr. Moon and Ashley his assistant turned that right around and made me feel at ease. I needed a root canal done and I was amazed at how fast he was done. It was the best root canal I have gotten done since I wasn't in pain afterwards. He is the best dentist I have ever been to and I am so happy I have found him. The girls up front are very accommodating and nice as well. I am very happy I made the decision to come back to this dentist.
