Originally, I came to Dr. NATHAN Ho for a 3rd opinion. I live in Oregon and 2 dentists did exams and both gave two totally different suggestions. I am retired and one of the previous dentists felt I should get braces and do full mouth reconstruction. The other dentist told me I needed one implant and a crown. I did my research and decided I wanted to hear what this dentist suggests. He used a camera and showed me what he saw and explained things very well. I do have some cracks and things to fix but no ridiculous amount of dental treatment was necessary. Hence, my visit with Dr Nathan Ho was an amazing experience. His team made me feel at home and very comfortable. They were funny too!!! Dr Ho really cared about my background, my health, my long term goals and my budget. I appreciate his honest opinion and explanations. Thank you for treating me like a person not a dental appointment. Haha I will be back and thank you for your wonderful, thorough exam. Mahalo

They are a fantastic dentist office! The staff is extremely friendly and everything seems well ran. My dentist is Dr. Ho and he's great. He even called me at the end of the day to see how I was doing and if I was in any pain. All I had done was cavities filled, but he went above and beyond. I feel like that's rare these days. They have TV's in each room on the back wall and ceiling so you have something to watch while they work on you. Between watching TV and interacting with the staff, time just flies. Zero complaints, I have definitely found my permanent dentist.

I just had my six month checkup and cleaning at Affinity Smiles (first visit). I have to say right away that the office is neatly decorated. It almost felt like I was in a high end spa. My hygienist, Jenn did a wonderful job. I had a couple spots with extra ‘build up’ that required some pretty heavy effort on her part. The cool thing was, no pain! Very good technique! The absolute best I’ve seen. She was working with Melissa and both were extremely welcoming and professional. I don’t do well at the dentist and my anxiety is usually off the charts by the time I sit down. Melissa and Jenn were so nice and explained everything they were doing, so I made it through just fine. Dr. Ho was also very nice. I highly recommend Affinity. Good experience!

Affinity Smiles is where my family has all our dental hygiene completed. A friendly relaxed atmosphere helps get past the fear of the dentist. Dr. Ho and his hygienist Linda are the best I've had at combining both gentleness and thoroughness. Linda provided proper oral hygiene instructions and kept asking if I was comfortable throughout my cleaning. It has relieved all the stress of going to the dentist regardless of what the reason was. They definitely make sure you’re comfortable and explain everything. They give you options and take the time out to work out a plan that works best for you. Affinity Smiles is wonderful.

He scams patients with huge treatment plans with unnecessary treatment and commits fraud by billing services that were not rendered Dr. Nathan Ho throws sharp dental instruments across the room at the dental assistant and on the patient's chest. Affinity Smiles reviews and testimonials on the website are fake and from non-existent patients in which Dr. Nathan Ho authored himself. Those 5-star reviews are paid for. The practice operates on patients getting all of their dental work done in 1 visit and do not return. The practice lacks patient retention for obvious reasons. Do not get fooled by Dr. Nathan Ho's fake persona, fake reviews and his fancy office. He creates a hazardous, hostile and unsafe environment. He has high turnover in staff. Dr. Nathan Ho records all calls and has multiple surveillance cameras with audio recording equipped to screen and monitor patients from his desk in his office or remotely with his phone and gains pleasure in doing such. Dr. Nathan Ho is a psychotic mastermind con artist, manipulator, abuser and greedy unethical crook to say the least! He is not to be trusted. It is highly encouraged for anyone to RUN AWAY from this horrendous place and person! Do not be intimidated of his doctor title and report him to the police. Dr. Nathan Ho should get his license to practice revoked and be reported to the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners as well as OSHA.

Overall wonderful service. However, you do have to specify that you're only there for X or Y treatment, otherwise they'll go on and begin performing other treatments as they see fit. That's not to say that they're bad in any way, as I do require some serious care due to my failure to maintain my teeth. However, as my family was still making schedules for certain life events, it was not my calling, and I had to remind them to refrain from treatments outside of what I had checked on the papers prior to the appointment. They were, however, quick to hand me a prescription to aid in healing my teeth and gums, so I would be more prepared for the necessary treatment(s) when I visit again (which I plan to do).

Simply the best. To go in detail, the person performing my deep cleaning was very thorough with the cleaning she did on my teeth. She also ensured I had a way to motion for a stop if I was in too much pain to go on. Post-cleaning they made sure to explain to me what the items were that I was receiving and how to use them, as well as listing a website that could help me further understand what's going on with my teeth. The doctor and his assistant then arrived to give me a filling, and asked if I wished to receive a second one that they had spotted (I accepted). They were quick, efficient, and careful. To add, the doctor had contacted me later in the day to check on how I was fairing after the deep cleaning and cavity filling. These are genuinely good people. I hope they find Roanoke to be as pleasant as they are!

Awesome service, outstanding team members, and highly recommended for families! The waiting area is cozy, but they run on schedule so you’re in and out! Only setback is to ask if services are deemed necessary for dental health, such as night guards, sealants (children), wisdom teeth extraction, braces, etc! It can get overwhelming with all the recommended dental care, but they will work with you to get what is essential and needed if good hygiene is practiced regularly! And there’s flat screens in each room to stay entertained while work goes on!

I recently visited a Dental office that was trying to up sell me on my insurance, all I wanted was an annual cleaning. I was referred from a friend to Affinity Smiles and scheduled an appointment, Rosie was quick to fill me in there busy schedule and was very informative and welcoming as a new patient. She gave me all the proper information and I was given all the necessary documents to get me registered. Upon my visit I was greeted with a welcoming smile and it didn't take long to get me in a dental chair, Sarah was my assistant and she was very thorough with the procedure and it didn't take long for me to meet Dr. Do, he was also very informative and compassionate about my treatment. I was able to get my teeth feeling just like I wanted and already scheduled a revisit. I will definitely tell friends and family about this office.

They explain everything, they educate you on why they are doing things and why I need to do better. I have had very sensitive teeth. They have given me great treatment guidelines to help cut back on my sensitivity and it is working. I have followed their guidelines and seen huge improvement in my teeth and my anxiety levels are nil. I am 52 years old and can proudly say I have been to the dentist these past 3 visits by myself, no anxiety and no tears. This is a great dental office. I was worried about coming and getting dental work done. But Dr. Ho is very good dentist, and Amanda was a wonderful dental assistant. Also Linda was a great dental hygienist. The Dr. showed me several good treatment plans. I felt respected and that I was getting great dental care with some wonderful options for treatment in the future. I've been back twice and look forward to my next visit.

Overall very good. It was my first visit so it took a long time to do pictures, xrays, exam, and cleaning. Dr. Ho was extremely nice and I felt his treatment plan for me was well explained and reasonable.

I love this dentist office! They are the best. The doctors and the staff are very nice. I got some teeth pupull out and it was the easiest procedure I have ever got done.
