When I was looking for a new dentist several years ago, I was looking for very specific expectations. I wanted comfort and care without judgement. Most experiences in the chair at the dentist, were terrifying as a kid. I had spent most of my adult life, absolutely terrified of the dentist. I just got fed up settling. I did research online in my search for a new dentist. I found all I was looking for, at Smiles of Chattanooga with Dr. Gallien and one of his hygentists, Erica. Actually, the whole staff are customer service passionate. They are always invested in the time they are with you, and make it as easy as possible. I will always remain a patient, and I'm not scared to go to the dentist anymore..I highly recommend, if you put your comfort and care first.

Great dental experiences are not in any of my memories of life! That is until I broke a molar and had to have it extracted. That is where Dr. Gallien and his staff at Smiles of Chattanooga came into the picture and changed my opinion of dentists and dentistry in general. Due to my allergies and past neck surgeries....and my "dental anxiety", I am not the dream patient, but the entire experience was really great. The staff made me feel comfortable and acknowledged my hesitance of having a good outlook toward the experience. Dr. Gallien was friendly, polite and professional, not once did anyone try to convince me that I needed extensive or expensive treatment. They gave me the options I had, then accepted my choices. Not only did I barely feel the injections to deaden the tooth, there was no pain during the extraction. One of the things I loved best was he didn't give the shot then leave and stay gone for what seems like to the patient, forever! He deadened the tooth, stayed with me until it took effect, extracted it and was done! Thank you Dr. Gallien and all the staff at Smiles of Chattanooga! Great job!

I am so very glad to have found Smiles of Chattanooga. Dr. Gallien and his staff are the best. I thought professionalism was dead and gone until I walked in walked into their office. Everyone is pleasant and very helpful. Dr. Gallien had to do a bone graft to correct deterioration caused by a procedure gone wrong at another place. Graft healed nicely. I was there just today for the next step, the implant, for my new tooth. Lacy and Amy attending me during my procedure were truly amazing. Lacy made sure I was comfortable and assisted Dr. Gallien throughout the procedure. What a great experience.

Let me start off by saying I'm beyond terrified of the dentist. Today I went to have a cavity looked at and ended up having to have the tooth pulled. This staff was absolutely amazing and comforting through the whole process. Dr. Erin and her hygienist Stacy gave me lots of options to choose from to keep me calm and relaxed, allowed me to talk out my fears with zero judgement and even came in with the price summary before even starting just in case I needed to tweak my care to fit my budget. Things that were a game changer for me were Lois at the front desk answering all of my questions and being sweet and supportive before I even made an appointment, numbing gel before shots even happened and how much they all ACTUALLY care about their patients. I have more that needs to be done and I'll definitely be going back to these amazing ladies.

Understand that while Smiles of Chattanooga states they accept your insurance, they are not a participating provider with any insurer and may not accept your insurer's remittance as payment in full. I just had to pay more than $200 for a preventive exam that would have been covered in full with another provider. They do not make this clear when you call. I would not have gone there otherwise. Services were comprehensive.

Been with this office for many years. Over the years I have seen great employees come and go. The quality of service has really gone down as well, but the prices continue to rise. I needed to replace a bridge that this office installed. They sent me to a endodontic for the root canal that was also needed. Ended up with 2 outrageous bills, one from Smiles and one from the other office. This was even after my expensive top of the line insurance policy paid their portion. After all of this, the new bridge doesn't match the one beside it(also installed by this office)... was told this a temporary and they knew this and was ordering another one, however, when I went in to get new one set, they told me this was the new one.... so now I have spent a small fortune at 2 separate offices and the bridge doesn't match. At first, I didn't think it was noticeable, however, after looking at pictures of myself- I realize just how bad it really looks. I used to smile all the time, but now I am more concerned with these bridges not matching. Very upset and honestly do not know how to fix it...trying to find new dentist...

This is a review of my routine checkup and cleaning. The was for June 28. I am a longtime patient and always have a good experience with each visit. Erica was my hygenest for my last visit and did a great job. Told me what she was doing and was always very professional. She answered all my questions and offered advice for more effective home maintenance. I can’t say enough about all the staff and drs at this office. Always friendly and professional. The make you feel at home every time.

I became Dr. Gallien's patient right after he opened. I was looking for a Holistic Dentist that could work on me without the experience of pain. I have never had to experience pain while having my teeth worked on at Smiles of Chattanooga. In addition to that, he has worked with my Doctor that was helping me detox/cleanse heavy metals out of my body. We discovered that a previous Dentist had left residues of mercury under porcelain 3 porcelain caps. We were able to identify which teeth had mercury under the caps, and Dr., Gallien removed the harmful residue safely; without my experience of pain.

I drive from Cleveland to Smiles. They take extreme care and caution when dealing with amalgam filling removal. They are very friendly and make sure you are comfortable and address any concerns you might have. I went today to have three crowns put on and the color was way off, Taylor noticed immediately and reordered new crowns. I so appreciate her care and concern.

The staff/dentists here are extremely nice and personable. HOWEVER, they were VERY dishonest about prices/billing and many of the procedures they recommend turned out to be completely unnecessary. I’ve never had issues with my teeth and when I went to smiles, every visit, something needed to be fixed. I went to a new dentist and have had no further dental problems. They also give you a discount if you leave a 5 star review, so it’s a little misleading.

Smiles of Chattanooga is one of the friendliest office in town. I have been going for awhile now and every aspect of their office is professional. They remind you of your appointments in a timely manner, the office is extremely clean and modern and the staff friendly. They make you comfortable and ask you questions to make sure you understand your procedures. You don't have to wait a long time to get your work done, they are efficient and provide everything you need so you are not going from one department to another. I would recommend their office for all your dental work. One thing I would like to see is a larger advertising sign at the corner off of Hwy. 58 so the office is more noticeable from the main road. It was a bit difficult to find when I first went there.

I have always hated the dentist. A phobia probably doesn't fully explain it. But this was literally the BEST office I have ever been to. From the moment the receptionist answered the phone all the way to me leaving the office. I called about 20 dentist offices and this was the last one I was willing to try. When the lady answered the phone it was immediately a breath of fresh air. Sweetest woman ever. She squeezed me in and when I got there I was given a gift bag and such a warm welcome. The assistants were fantastic and did everything possible to make me comfortable and not as scared. The dentist was GREAT! He made me feel like I was a priority and that it was ok to be afraid, because he was going to make sure I wasn't in pain and could relax! I have already recommended this place to my father and other people in 2 days. If you are looking for somewhere that will make you comfortable and a dentist that you can trust. THIS IS THE PLACE. I don't ever write reviews, so this isn't me hyping up somewhere just to do it, but this place 100% deserves it. I want anyone like me to not have to search for hours or years looking for a great dentist. I would give 10 stars if it would let me. Have had two visits so far. The first time I came i was in a lot of pain and we realized I had to have a crown and a filling. Even though it was late in the day, Dr. Gallien made time for the procedures! Every time he comes in the room he has a smile on his face. And he doesn't mind to answer all my questions! Today I came back for a hygiene visit & to seat my crown. Brooke & Rebecca were SO gentle & gave me wonderful instructions. Gale explained all of the financial side of my treatment plan. Relaxing atmosphere, no one was making negative comments about how I haven't been to a dentist, etc. They pulled my tooth today and everything was great. I didnt even feel them take it out. You should definitely check them out, especially if you're nervous. They have very neat comfort packages from watching Netflix, headphones, and gas.

My first visit they gave me a tour and got to know me and what was important to me before they even looked at my teeth. I pass a half dozen dentists on my way to Smiles in Harrison. They are a first class operation. The dental assistants are all super friendly and the front desk people are polite and helpful. Both dentists are really good, although I mostly interact with Dr. Erin. The second best part of the experience is the way my kids are treated. While not a 'pediatric' dentist by name, I would not take my kids anywhere else. The best part of the dental experience at Smiles is they have always, always been prompt. They also have snacks in the lobby and creature comforts in the rooms like Netflix and blankets.

I spent a small fortune on front teeth veneers and caps. They were badly designed, curved like fangs and chipped off. I returned to tell the dentist I was very unhappy with the work and the shape of the teeth and errors in the forms. He talked me into keeping them telling me he had ground down his own teeth to have the curved look. Every day I look at them in the mirror and want to cry and don't want to smile. DO NOT allow Smiles of Chattanooga to do your caps or veneers for your front teeth without first demanding they do a mock up test look to let you see what the final shapes will look like. They used an inferior lab that formed curved fangs, left pock holes in the caps and my teeth look terrible after spending all that money.

Dr. Erin has completed a few crowns for me at which were both perfect. Dr. Gallien has installing 2 dental implants which he took extra time ensuring that the setup and execution were precise. The whole surgery/prep took about 45 minutes and the healing process was nearly painless which is amazing as I went in expecting the worse. If I had not done it my teeth were literally wearing away as my front upper teeth were hitting my lower teeth and both were wearing away very rapidly. Dr Gallien has my complete trust.
