Absolutely do not go here. They don't even file their own insurance claims. So, if you need a procedure done, you must pay the amount in full and file the claim yourself. Also, if your child gets scared while in the chair, they will cancel your appointment and bill you $200 for absolutely nothing. If I could give zero stars on this place, I would.

The only place anyone should go for their dental needs. Wonderful staff and wonderful doctors. The office is very clean , up to date on the latest technology, and amazing work. The hygienists are wonderful and do a great job. You feel like you are having a massage on your gums, it is so relaxing. The office provides snacks in the waiting room , if you are hungry while waiting. They sure seem like family to me as I feel very comfortable being there having my dental work done. They provide nitrous just to make your time go by faster. Not many dental offices have this for their patients. Go there, you sure won't be disappointed.

Last year my life changed after a visit to Newport Family Dental Care in Newport, TN. For many years I smiled without showing my teeth. I also struggled with my bite. A friend told me about this dental practice; I decided to make an appointment. Everyone was so friendly, professional and genuine in their concern for my dental care and in my hope of having a wonderful cheery smile! The front desk staff, dental assistants, hygienists and doctors were thorough in explaining a treatment plan; there aren’t enough words to convey my positive experience! As of December 2018 I began sharing my happy smile with others! Family and friends noticed the change & I couldn’t have been more pleased! For years I’ve used a C-pap machine & now that my bite is improved I sleep much better! There was no dread or fear as I returned to Newport Family Dental Care Practice today for my 6 month check-up! I had my wisdom teeth removed here. At first I was a little freaked out because I was only going under laughing gas and anesthetic. Dr. Sutton and nurse Frita made me so comfortable! Mrs. Frita calmed me down a lot. She held my hand, talked to me, and even went along with my drugged up rambling. When Dr. Sutton came to give me shots he was very supportive, realizing that I was terrified he was quick, and also talked me through it. He is very professional and had all 4 of my wisdom teethout within a hour and a half. I was pleasantly surprised with how wonderfully supportive they all were. I definitely give this place 5 stars! Wonderful staff. Even the lady up front talked me through my pre-operation anxiety. Love my "Momma Frita" and Dr. Sutton!

I've been seeing Dr. Sutton for about 20 years. Prior to seeing him I was terrified of going to the dentist and had the horrible gray fillings in my teeth that had been done by another dentist. Dr Sutton and his staff knew I was terrified but they never belittled me in any way. They were kind and patient and aware of my fear. I've had a lot of work done on my teeth by Dr. Sutton and his staff and now have all pretty white fillings. Thanks to Dr. Sutton I have all of my teeth except 2 wisdom teeth that Dr. Sutton was able to take care of in his office. He is a wonderful dentist and thanks to him the only thing I have to go for now are the cleanings twice a year. Both Dr. Sutton, Dr; Joseph and the entire staff are wonderful to their patients. I highly recommend Dr. Sutton and his entire staff and be sure and ask about the Smile Saver Plan. Dr; Sutton truly has the best of interest and dental care for his patients. A wonderful place for all your dental needs.

Going to the dentist is one of the most scariest things for me I have a phobia due to a traumatic experience as a child. I have to say that Miss Tammy and dr. We travel over from Asheville, NC to have all our dental care because we have found a dental care office that has the best philosophy and best interests of their patients in all their dental care to both my husband and I. My husband found Dr. Sutton when he needed some major dental care and he will tell you that he has never had better dental care. We are part of the Dental Savers Plan and just had our appointments and we both made the comment that we have never been to a dental office that everyone seems happy to be working there. Everyone at this office is super sweet and amazing!! I have to admit I was super frustrated because we had to put down our family dog of 15 years (which they were sympathetic to) this morning and the process to get my teeth done was lengthy but it was done right and carefully. Let me start by saying everyone is very pleasant including the doctors. I saw Dr Sutton 3 years ago and he was amazing. HOWEVER, when it comes to the financial aspect this office is very vague so ask questions. If you have insurance be aware that the amount they are telling you you have to pay is not your contracted percentage. It is the percentage the doctors are telling the staff you are responsible for. At least this is what I was told. I have good insurance that we pay a hefty penny for and I should pay a 50.00 ded and 20% of the contracted rate because they are a contracted provider. I was given a treatment plan that just did not add up for my portion and upon further questioning found out that the "dr" was saying I needed to pay 80% of the contracted rate. This is against what the contract that they signed with my insurance states they can do. They are supposed to collect my percentage/copay not what the insurance company should pay. I verified this with Delta Dental. I requested that they do a treatment plan and was told if they submitted the paperwork they would charge me 60.00 but I could come and get the paperwork and mail it myself. Wait WHAT....they are across the street from the post office and I have to pay 60.00 for them to mail. Keep in mind they would have to print everything regardless if I mail it or they do. Again Delta Dental advised me this is breaking the contract that they signed when they became a contracted provider. The girl at the desk told me that a treatment plan states it is not a guarantee of payment, of course it isnt because it is not a claim it is a PREdetermination of cost. She said even with this from Delta Dental I would be forced to pay what the dr says and not my percentage from my benefits. This is a form of insurance fraud and they are pulling this off without patients knowing any better. I have worked in the dental insurance field for 10 years and know this isnt right. Their argument is that well you signed the paperwork giving consent before being seen. This paperwork states that if insurance does not pay you are responsible and you have 30 days to pay. That is what I agreed to, not paying 80% when I should have to pay 20% . This saddens me because Dr Sutton was wonderful when I saw him last and he did amazing work. I am sorry that they have had people not pay their bills and feel it is ok to punish every patient that has insurance. This is not good practice. I will not go back and hope that this can explain how their financial part of the practice works. This is a form of insurance fraud and is not allowed if they have signed a contract with a dental company agreeing to accept the contracted rate and the patient benefits. My review is not based off of the doctors work or the staff but of how they manipulate the system in their favor. And to add to this they claim in previous post that rarely do insurance companies pay their full portion of the bill....they do if the claims are submitted properly with all of the proper documentation. This is speaking from experience and filing dental insurance and claims for 10 years. Rarely had an issue with insurance not paying what they were supposed to or timely payment if all of the process if done accurately.
