My wife and I have been patients at several dentists around Cool Springs. Most of them are corporate dentists and are only concerned with making money. They told us we need over $5000K worth of dental procedures. They also tried pressuring us into getting them done and forced credit programs on us. We thought we would never find a dentist we could trust Dr Avrit is exactly what we are looking for. A small, honest dental practice. Definitely recommend.

Friendly front desk lady, best hygienist and the nicest dentist you could ask for!!! It makes me want to get my teeth cleaned more because it's such a great experience!! I even go during my lunch break to have them cleaned!!

Super courteous staff. On-time appointments. Enjoyable experience even when someone's hands are in your mouth. Haven't had any hassles or mix ups with insurance in my four appointments and one operation. In and out, but never without staff asking if you have questions or concerns. I always look forward to my appointments.

We've been going here for a few years for regular checkups and have always had great experiences. My 11 yo daughter needed to get several teeth extracted recently. Dr. Avrit talked her through the process, was sensitive to her needs, and performed the surgery without incident. While there our regular dental hygienist, Amanda, stopped by to chat and helped my daughter feel more comfortable. Definitely a friendly and professional office.

Dr. Avrit and his staff are amazing! Jodi and the others are so warm and welcoming, and always make me feel comfortable. I really appreciate that they explain everything to you, and go over the cost with you ahead of time. I never have to wait more than 3 or 4 minutes once I arrive. Just a really great dentist, I will not go anywhere else. Definitely 5 plus stars!!

I've been coming here for 1.5 years and I love it! It's a great office full of friendly staff that also aren't super dentist-y. The bad taste left in your mouth from going to the dentist won't happen here!

What a Great Experience!!! McKay's Mill Dental came to my rescue today! I was told by another dentist that my crown that fell out on Friday night, could not be reinserted. I was very dissappointed and upset about this and my husband called McKay's Mill Dental and set an appointment for me today. I went in, everyone was attentive, friendly and completely professional! The dental assistant took the time to clean the crown and test to see if it could be reinserted (Something the other place did not bother to do). She & the Doctor got my crown back in successfully, with NO issues. They warned me that due to the condition of my tooth, that they don't know how long it will last, but they fixed it for the time being and provided an option for a permanent situation, for when I'm able to do so. Thank you, Thank you, Thank You McKay's Mill Dental for helping me today!

I have been a patient of Dr. Avrit and his staff for over a year now, and I have had the most wonderful experiences with them! They treat you with the utmost care and just like you are one of the family. They are reasonably priced and Dr. Avrit will never recommend something that you don't truly need. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable and I have recommended them to many of my co-workers who are now patients of his as well. Being a patient of his has completely changed my fear of "going to the dentist."

I love McKay's Mill Dental! Dr. Avrit is very personable and knowledgeable in all things "teeth" and helped me out tremendously! I was told by another dentist that I needed over $3,000 worth of work done. After seeing Dr. Avrit for a second opinion it turns out I didn't need all that work done. AND what I did need done was at a fraction of the cost of this other dentist! I wish I would have gone to Dr. Avrit first, I would have been able to get everything that I needed done for the same amount that I had ONE thing done at the other dentist! Best dentist and dental hygienists I have ever met! At a previous dentist's office, I was told I had 2 cavities... Since I wasn't having any sensitivity or pain, I got a second opinion. Dr. Avrit looked over my X-rays right next to me, and said he didn't see any areas of concern, even when I told him about the "cavities" that apparently needed to be filled. I really appreciate their honesty, detailed assessment, and friendliness!

My family uses this practice and have been more than pleased each and every visit. Regardless if the visits are for procedures and for routine exams, the team here is excellent. Each and every visit is both professional and friendly. My wife is terrified of dental procedures and they were able to work with her to put her at ease for a procedure. In the past I've had to change appointments, and they're very easy to work with to accommodate my schedule. Highly recommend!!

I'm new to the area and had a veneer come loose. Great, I thought, who is going to take someone not a patient? I checked who was on my insurance and then compared the list against social media. McKay's had the highest rating. Called, explained the situation and they offered next day appointment. I couldn't make that appointment due to work but got in the following day. Office staff is warm and personable, Dr. Matt quick and efficient, my tooth is fixed and I will be going back for my routine care. I am pleased.

First time we walked into the door, we got greeted with attitude by a lady who looks like a rat. Yes we had trouble making our appointment, my wife is pregnant and there are things that come up all the time. We made it to the appointment a bit late and the front desk lady pretty much made us seem like we don't matter. they shouldn't hire people that do not have regard at all. get a job working under a rock and no one will miss your attitude.

Dr. Merrell was highly recommended by the local rabbit rescue as the go to doctor for bunnies in the Nashville area. I cannot overstate just how shocked I was by the compassion shown by her and her staff. Not only does she take the time to review X-rays and walk through all available treatments, but she goes above and beyond with flexibility to meet any working person's schedule. What a gem of a place!

I don’t think that anyone ever LIKES going to the Dentist, but that will change once they visit McKay’s Mill Dental! Dr. Avrit and his wonderful staff possess qualities that are very rare in customer service these days, let alone a medical practice. The entire experience from making an appointment with Ashely, seeing Amanda for dental cleanings, having dental work done by Dr. Avrit and with his assistants Rebecca and Jody to any interaction with Anna, the Office manager has always been very pleasant. When I was young, I experienced a traumatic event in the dental chair and as I got older, I would only go to the dentist if I was in pain. The fear I had was preventing me from taking proper steps to prevent everything from cavities to root canals. Even simple cleanings would have me clawing the chair; sedatives did not even touch the anxiety I felt and I would always break down in tears during the visit. Everyone that works at McKay’s Mill Dental is terrific, and Dr. Avrit has a great team. I’ve been a patient/ client now for over 2 years and received a clean bill of health for the first time ever after my cleaning yesterday with Amanda. I highly recommend them and hope anyone that has been in my shoes will give them a chance, I promise the only regret they will have is not visiting them sooner!
