I've been going to this Dentistry for my entire life growing up and I have received nothing but amazing care and hospitality from the Dr., staff, and nurses. I recently came in for a cleaning and Melinda, Sarah, and Leigha were all nice and caring to me and took care of my teeth, and did a fantastic job from getting me signed in to getting me in a chair to so the cleaning, and out in no time.

I would like to shout to the rooftops!!! This Peds dental Office is AMAZING!!! We just relocated here from Tampa FL, and I have a 9,3, and 2 year old. From the very FIRST phone call to the office, They had EXCELLENT customer service!!Polite. One employee Named KYLE was beyond AMAZING my daughter (9) has severe dental anxiety (past nightmare) He was so kind and patient with her, the same with my 3 and 2 year old, all the way to the BOSS!! Mr Perdue DDS, Was very knowledgeable and great with my children, MEANS a lot just relocating here and receiving that kind of outstanding treatment not only from Kyle however the whole office, Definitely HIGHLY recommend this Dental office. they treat you like Family,, Just an outstanding AMAZING TEAM!!!

When Doctor Perdue informed me that my 5 year old had two cavities I was shocked. Since the birth of my son, I have worked very hard to maintain excellent oral hygiene for him. When I asked Dr. Perdue what could have caused this, his response was cavalier and dismissive. He simply told me that "most kids get cavities and that I shouldn't worry about it". He made me feel like I was being ridiculous for even asking questions about it. He hurried me up front where they had already drafted a "treatment plan" which included a cost estimate of $381.00. Since I was already questioning how my son could possibly have two cavities, I told them I would think about it and get back with them. I then proceeded to visit two additional pediatric dentists (both of whom are very reputable in the area). Without telling them about my son's dental history or supposed cavities, they both examined him and one did the panoramic x-rays of his mouth. Both dentists said he did not have ANY cavities and that his mouth looked very healthy. Needless to say, I have found a new pediatric dentist. She doesn't make me feel silly for asking questions and the best part is that I feel like I can trust her. I won't be back to see Dr. Perdue.

I want to thank Dr. Purdue, and especially Lacy. My special needs daughter does not like the dentist (or doctor's) office. Lacy was patient and worked to get my daughter's teeth cleaned as efficiently and quickly as possible. Lacy, you rock! thanks so much for making a difficult experience less so. Dr. Perdue's entire staff is wonderful! Our 13 year old son has severe Autism and we are always very impressed with the care and compassion shown to him and us at every visit. We live almost 3 hours away from Dr. Perdue's office, but choose to travel there to get the best care possible for our son. If you or anyone you know has a child with special needs who is looking for a top notch dentist, give Dr. Perdue a visit. You won't be sorry!

DO NOT TAKE CHILDREN HERE! I personally went here when I was younger. This is a horrible dentistry establishment. He tries to get as much money from your insurance company as possible. The last time I visited, they told me I had 7 cavities that need to be fixed, my grandmother and I then went to a different dentist which continued to tell me I only had 2 cavities that needed small fillings.

I have been taking my children to Dr. Perdue for 14 years. I have always found him to be a "straight shooter". My kids love going to see him. They enjoy the video games in the game room and love watching movies while they get their teeth cleaned. He is a very nice guy and I would recommend him. His staff is really nice as well.

They are all so welcoming...recently my nieces visited the office and for one it was her first time Melinda handled her x-rays and cleaning... my niece was very calm and now has no fears about the dentist...Leigha helped with all the new patient paperwork in a timely and very friendly manner....Melody was very helpful with getting both nieces scheduled for the Vanderbilt appointments and helped to coordinate both appointments so that it would be more convenient.

The staff is friendly and I appreciate how they try to schedule my kids' cleanings together so I'm not running to the dentist 4 separate times. Everyone here is so extremely nice, friendly, and helpful with everything! Most kids dread going to the dentist, but my son loves it thanks to the staff and Dr. Perdue. We drive 40 min every time and they always let me know if there’s any issue with my son or if any additional work needs to be done, (always very thorough when explaining what they’ll be doing) and they’re very patient with working with us around our schedule to make sure we never miss an appointment. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a pediatric dentist.

In my opinion "Dr." Perdue's only concern is how much he can bill ones insurance for. Even if it's at the cost of your children's oral health. There is a reason why every Friday he's at Vanderbilt hospital putting CHILDREN to sleep and performing unnecessary procedures on them. Which he did with both of my children. He claims that it has to be done, and like most con artist's, he is convincing. But after his shoddy work started to show after only 6 months, he suggested that he put my 5 year old daughter under for a SECOND time. Thats when we finally pulled our heads out of our behinds and came to the realization that he's not interested in our kids welfare whatsoever, only the money that he can make by exploiting them. The pied piper of pediatric dentistry who lures your children into his lair with Xbox and play station at the ready for them. On top of everything else, he and almost every person that works for him, are just downright rude and act they are better than you. Not only that, his work sucks. He has no talent or skill that one could excuse or overlook his condescending attitude for. DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS TO SEE THIS MAN. You will almost certainly regret it as I am. Think about this, a single dentist practice? That's almost unheard of. Especially when it's a pediatric dentist whose workload in a such a family oriented community has to be through the roof. That suggests to me that he's simply greedy. Please heed my advice and drive a little further if you have to. Just avoid him at all cost.

I would not take my dog here! They tried to tell me my 3 yr old needed sedation dental work. After 2 second opinion by 2 totally different dentists, NOTHING IS WRONG WITH MY SONS TEETH! Thankfully I trusted my gut instinct! Awful place!! ***Then for the dentist to respond and say that they give a honest plan for each patient is completely ridiculous. I work in a dental office and luckily the dentist that I work for would never recommend work for a three-year-old that was not needed. Dr Perdue is a Medicaid Tenncare mill and trying his best to milk it for all it's worth.

I have three children, and we have been seeing Dr. Perdue for 8 years. My oldest two children have Sensory Processing Disorder, and my youngest has autism. Going to the dentist is DIFFICULT for all of my children, and Dr. Perdue and his staff have gone above and beyond, taking the time my children need to have a positive experience. I especially appreciate that Dr. Perdue has high standards but takes our special needs into account when helping me make decisions about my children’s dental care. I trust that Dr. Perdue will give me a thorough explanation of our options and an honest opinion about what course he recommends. We have utilized the “quiet room” for first dentist visits so that the experience is less overwhelming, and the hygienists are always so good to let my kids know what is going to happen, how it will feel, and when it will be over. Today I was nervous when I realized that our regular hygienists were out, but Melinda and Leigha did a fantastic job. And both girls did great. We have also utilized sedation for dental procedures, and while it is still hard, I can see how it has helped my child avoid being fearful of the dentist. I also appreciate the support staff at the office. We have an unusual insurance situation, and Melody has always been so diligent in figuring out how to help us access our benefits. She never seems frustrated or impatient with the atypical process our insurance sometimes requires. I highly recommend Dr. Perdue and his practice.

I have been bringing my son here for years, and Dr. Perdue and staff have successfully helped us raise a child who is not afraid of the dentist. I have always been terrified of any kind of dental procedure, and am so grateful that my child does not have this same fear. We started seeing Dr. Perdue when my son was a toddler, and they took the extra time to build my son's trust in them. Now that he's a teen and in braces, they continue to take the time to answer all of his questions to ensure he's comfortable with every procedure. This was my 1 year old daughter's first dental visit and it went great! They wanted her 1st experience to be welcoming and they made her as comfortable as possible. Along side of my 1 yr old, this was my 10 year old Autistic son's 1st visit with Dr Perdue. In comparison to his previous Dentist, Dr. Perdue superceded his previous experiences! Melissa, the dental hygienist, made him feel super comfortable without me having to go back with him, and they were able to get everything done in a timely manner. I am really happy I learned about Dr. Perdue's practice at the Autism Walk last October. I definently feel our family made the best choice with our new dentistry family!

My children have been with this dentist for almost 3 years. The first year was great, after that.. Everything has changed. A couple times with two of my other kids, we missed due to certain circumstances. Their policy has change sometime at the end of '14 or the beginning the year '15, mainly to get more money from you with their 24 hour window or 48 hour. My husband was also very concerned about sedating our 5 year old 3 different times now just to fix a cracked baby tooth that is actually healthy from what the other dentist said. Just chipped at the bottom. But my main rant is that, we recently received a letter from them telling us that they are no longer able to come to their office anymore over me canceling at the last min appointment. One of my children has caught streptococcal pharyngitis from school. The next day was the appointment. All of my children appointments were canceled and it states a certain part "due to missed appointments without proper 48 hour notification? I thought the 48 hour was mainly for sedation. The one that got sick was only going in that day for a cleaning, which that one is a 24 hour notice. "so which one is it?". The only silly snarky thing I can say about that is, I should of let em' went and got sick on everyone huh? Never again will any of my children go there! And anyone I know, I will tell them to never go there! Two out of a few other staffs there are very rude and terrible towards parents, including me.

Every person I met was very nice and talk to my son and play with him to make him feel comfortable he love the TVs that you can watch why you get your teeth done and the toys in the waiting room. I've been to three dentist so far and this was the best one with the best service.
