I honestly wasn't impressed with the service of the staff and the dentist. Amanda at the desk was great and super nice, but other than that they were very rude and unprofessional. Not only that it took almost 3 months to get an appointment with them after calling & telling them I had a chipped tooth and was in pain. I was there for 5 minutes tops and charged $260+ for them to tell me it was chipped (obviously) and that I would need a root canal and a crown. I was suppose to have a cleaning but they didn't do it, even after I told them I scheduled them together. Overall I wouldn't recommend this place.

I know it can be hard to believe when a place gets a lot of five star reviews, but Cloudland Dental really deserves the rating. I've been a patient here for 2 years, having both fillings and teeth cleaned. I have always received excellent dental care here. The staff is friendly and courteous, and my dentist takes time to explain the health of my teeth and what I need to have done to maintain them. Everyone really cares here. My dental hygienist is gentle and thorough. She's encouraging. There are a lot of children coming to this practice as well as adults. A great family dental office!

I just moved to Crossville 4 months ago and was fearful of seeking dental care here because my fear of going to the dentist is so strong that my former dentist took on the responsibility of cleaning my teeth and would use Nitrous Oxide while cleaning my teeth or performing any other dental procedures. I have never had such a caring and understanding team of dedicated individuals work with me and assisting me from the start all the way to the finish of my visit. I went Nitrous free and Nicole the Dental Hygienist as well as the dental assistant took the time to explain everything they were about to do to me. I truly felt like I had someone holding my hand every step of the way. Their professionalism, friendliness of staff and the Dentist are unmatched in my book. I would recommend Cloudland Dental to everyone who arelooking for exceptional dental services a friendly, kind caring staff.

They did a horrible job they made my son's teeth look bigger and overlapped! They did x-rays on mine they were very rude and I'm not racist but the Oriental dentist was so rude she started raising her voice loud for everyone to hear when I got upset because she kept poking my cheek she poked my left side and she poked my right side repeatedly with pressure knowing that I was having pain due to an infection I moved her arm away to stop her from doing it and she pushed through my arm so I asked her is there a reason you are repeatedly poking my face and she said well I'm just trying to point out the problem well I was so angry and nothing was done I will never go back there neither will my boys

I really really really liked my dentist. But the office manager I believe she is I know she's the one who deals with insurance did not do her job correctly resulting in me getting a $500 bill that I should have never gotten. And then she would not take care of it I was forced to call my insurance company it took me three days and about 7 hours worth of phone calls to remedy the situation and I have fired this practice now because of her not doing her job correctly to begin with and then refusing to fix the problem that she created to begin with. I don't get paid to call my insurance company and that was a very stressful thing for me it's her job she gets paid and no I no longer will go to the practice because she won't do her job so if you're paying out of pocket the dentist are great if you're paying with insurance just be careful and make sure that she doesn't does her job correctly. I'm very sad that I had to fire this practice because it was closer to my home then my new dentist and I really did like my dentist it's really sad that people in the offices don't want to work because it's not just my dentist office either is everybody.

Avoid the Cloudland Dental Office...1 star is only for the Dental Assistance. The receptionist makes you sign forms saying you receive a disclosure, but no disclosure was received therefore, I refused to sign it and pointed that out to her. Her response in the most unfriendly and unprofessional manner "YOU HAVE TO SIGN IT" ..WHich of course I refused. Than after my daughter's cleaning Dr. Sophia Kang walked in and sat right down and starting looking into my daughter's mouth failing to great and identify herself to my daughter and myself(parent), and proceeded to say out loud cavity, cavity, cavity, cavity. I was floored considering my daughter has her teeth cleaned every 6 months ritually and also has a Orthodontist. (WE ONLY WENT TO THIS DENTIST OFFICE BECAUSE WE WERE NEW TO STATE OF TN) There is no way I explained that in a course of 6 months my daughter had gotten 4 cavities. I explained to them I would get a second opinion ;and I did ! AND guess what? NO 4 cavities. especially when the cavities do not show on x-rays. It is my belief and opinion that they were looking into over treating my minor child because of monterey insurance claims funds. PROCEED WITH CAUTION AND GET A SECOND OPINION IS MY ADVICE...and ALWAYS BE AN ADVOCATE WHEN IT COMES TO YOUR CHILDREN(S) HEALTHCARE...ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY USE A GAS TO PUT YOUR CHILD UNDER FOR CAVITIES(AS I WAS TOLD)***************

I don't usually do these sort of things but after today I am very discouraged and feel that the staff of cloud-land truly let us down. Lets sum this morning up: Last week I made an appointment for my son that has to have something pretty serious done with a dentist there AFTER being sent somewhere else then BACK to Cloud-land.. No big deal- things happen.. SO-again I made an appointment last week for this Friday (today) and it was the FIRST appointment of the day. Get there 30 minutes early to be efficient only to find out they don't open until 8.. Not a problem. Sit & wait.. They open the doors right at 8 and we go and sit and wait. A crowd of children come in and even though we were first checked in we weren't called first but we were called at 8:10. We get back in the room where Amanda comes in and starts to take some x-rays of my sons mouth for the Dr. She couldn't get them done alone so she went and found someone else to help. They come back and take 3 pictures and we then wait on the Dr to come in. Meanwhile, she is telling us that he will have to examine the x-rays and decide if the root is closed etc. Dr comes in and examines the x-rays for a few minutes and says that the roots are closed and he is able to do the procedure. Amanda then goes into explanation to my 8 year old of what all they will need to do to him. Which in turn causes him to be anxious, like ANYONE would be knowing the things they are doing during a ROOT CANAL. My son begins to cry and then I am trying to discuss with him the only way to heal the pain is to have this done. Amanda and the Dr decide at that point they cant help him and the Dr then gets up and WALKS OUT . After I can talk with my child, my son then decides he can swallow the fear and get this taken care of because the pain hes been in is bigger than his fear. So Amanda sits there and discusses things a bit further as I explain how badly we need this taken care of. I explain he is ready and willing and she states it is TOO LATE to have anything done... THE TIME AT THIS POINT IS 8:30! I am sooo confused and frustrated with her at this point I get up and walk to the front desk. I walk up to Ashley and ask her to schedule me a NEW appointment ASAP that the Dr would have enough time to do what he needed without all the discussion with my son. She has to go ask a few questions so she walks to the back and Amanda comes up and starts discussing this in front of everyone and belittling my son because of his fear and tells us that its HIS FAULT for not cooperating. I get even more upset and say "I JUST NEED TO SCHEDULE A NEW APPT IN WHICH THE DR HAS ENOUGH TIME TO DO WHAT HE NEEDS". Katie then stands up and very loudly tells me "I can sit out there in the waiting room and if anything becomes available then they will see him if not I can leave!" I tell her all I want to do is schedule an appt where my son can have enough time to have his work done and not have Amanda in there discussing in detail what all they have to do! THANKFULLY a very sweet lady named Jessie walks up and very patiently answers my concerns and offers to call around to get the help I need if they cannot see him again until NEXT FRIDAY! She offers antibiotics and offers to personally call the other DRs in the area to see what the options are. Honestly- I am disgusted with the people in that office that treated me the way they did. I am SO VERY THANKFUL for Jessie doing what she could to help and shutting the other careless people out long enough to respect my concerns. She kept in contact with me all day and has reached out to multiple other places that could get him in sooner. SHE IS AN ANGEL & I hope that Ms. Ashley Thomas is aware that Amanda and Katie are beyond disrespectful and completely out of line! After speaking with 4 other moms from my mom group I have discovered that this is not Amanda's first time treating Parents this way! She has quite the reputation in this town for her careless actions there @ Cloud land.

I had mentioned that my daughter had been previously traumatized at another facility and is very scared of the dentist, so our assistant went above and beyond to include her in the process ,and explained everything to her. I had 2 fillings last year at Cloudland Dental. The first was to replace a previous filling from another dentist that I had years ago. Never had a problem with it but the doctor at Cloudland Dental indicated a new filling was needed so I had it done. During that filling, part of the tooth broke off and Cloudland Dental wanted to put a crown on it. My insurance company has indicated that a crown is not needed at this time and they will not cover the procedure. My second filling from last year was fine but during my recent visit this year a different doctor at Cloudland Dental indicated that part of the previous filling broke off and that a new filling is needed for that same tooth. Not impressed.

On my first visit I got a cleaning and x-rays. My cleaner Liz was very nice and seemed to know her stuff. I came back to get a crown replaced and Dr. May seemed pretty nice, but on the third dose of novocaine, a sharp pain shot across my bottom lip. I've never had that before. I felt they were rushing. At the same time an infant was screaming its head off in another room. I wasn't happy that they put a trainee in charge of my temporary. The doctor didn't check her work. I think it's a little high, and has some rough edges that make it hard to floss. It's really a kid's dentist.

Cloudland recently offered free dental exams, cleaning and dental work for veterans and their spouses. They did a fantastic job cleaning my teeth and filling a couple of cavities.
