I am terrified of having any dental procedure done. I have panic attacks and become very overwhelmed. I went to this office and was completely blown away by their knowldege, patience, and compassion. I have never been treated so well. They were professional but more importantly to me they were kind. I feel insecure about my smile and know that I needed to have something done. When I called, I spoke to Kimberly, oh what a breath of fresh air, she was so understanding. She listened to my concerns and was very reassuring. The day of my appointment I met Dr. Majors, he was fabulous too. I have to have crowns done but also needed my teeth cleaned and they are doing it at the same time! I was so relieved. They go above and beyond. I am so blessed to have met them. I know this may sound absurd to some ppl but I believe that God led me to them and I am so grateful!

I have been seeing Dr. Major and his team now for several years and have always been very impressed with him and his staff. I was in just yesterday with Susan Mathews for a routine cleaning and general assessment. She is absolutely the best. Didn't even hurt me too much! Ha-ha! Not at all... really. Dr. Major came by to look over a couple issues which need to be addressed and we had our usual joking around session while getting to the necessary issues at hand. He has always been great! Provides the right solutions and expertise. As for Kimberly at checkout... now there's another story. She is an absolute mess. J/k. Honestly, she does offer some serious wit when you get her going. She's terrific as well. Good doc. Good team. Work thoroughly and proficiently performed. You'll have a great experience!

I have been a patient at this office for the past year where I have gotten several root canals, fillings, an extraction, crowns and a bridge as well as sedation several times. I had one problem with a tooth and was given a huge list of things needed initially. I knew I had several problems due to pregnancy causing my teeth to greatly decline so I agreed to get all the work done. At first everything went fine with my root canals and crowns. I had one tooth that got a root canal on where the temporary crown kept falling off so I went in several times and finally the dentist put in some rods to hold the permanent crown. When the permanent crown came in, the assistant yanked the temporary off so hard that the rods the dentist put in AND parts of the tooth left came off. I am still needing that fixed at this point and was told that I would have to pay out of pocket for that because it was a failed root canal. Also, something was dropped on my lip during one of my sedations and it burned my lip. I had to let it heal and now there is a mark on my lip permanently. The last thing I had done was a bridge which is insanely expensive. The permanent bridge was put in around July 2017 very recent and yesterday IT CAME OFF! Over $3500 of work and they couldn't cement it in well enough so I am dealing with finding someone else who can place this bridge in correctly so hopefully it will be able to be successfully used since I paid a ton for it and I obviously need the crowns there in my mouth. Several of the front office staff are really sweet and I enjoyed chatting with them at different times but I will not be going back due to the crowns/bridges I have not staying in permanently after being placed as well as the scar I now have on my lip. If you are needing extensive work done I would look elsewhere.

I went for a laser procedure on my gums. The laser it self I didn't feel because Ms.Susan numbed TF out my gums. And it was well needed, she also talked me thru everything. If you every need this procedure done I would suggest you get all 4sides done in one day. Be prepared for a couple hours at the office, the staff is very friendly, speedy, and kind.

I found myself with a chipped tooth and lots of pain on a Friday morning. Being new to the area I had not yet found a local dentist. So began my frantic search for an emergency appointment for a new patient. After several phone calls I began to think it was going to be a miserable weekend. No office had anything available on such short notice. Then I made one last call to Chattanooga Dental Care. My call was answered by Kimberly, who took the time to listen to my unfortunate situation. Without hesitation she asked if I could be at the office in the next 45 minutes, which I was so relieved to hear. Upon my arrival I was greeted by Kimberly who gave me a lovely welcome and was then turned over to Stephanie who not only took my x-rays, administered medication but also took the time to chat with me and make me comfortable. I was introduced to Dr. Hernandez who explained the options and procedure and worked me in to his already busy Friday morning. I felt at ease immediately. After a short wait I met Keely who once again made me feel very comfortable and went straight to work assisting Dr. Hernandez. Super professional staff I was so pleased from start to finish, I am certainly a patient for life. Thank you to all of you!

The entire staff knew that my daughter was terrified about a dental procedure and from the time we walked through the front door they were all so kind and understanding. I have never had such compassion and kindness at any physicians or dentist office. They were busy and didn't have to be as patient as they were but my daughter never cried, which is unheard of, due to how great they were with her. I hope to never have to take her anywhere besides Chattanooga Dental Care again. I also bothered Latisha and the office staff a dozen times on the day before and they were so kind and helpful as well. Going to the Dentist, even for just a cleaning, is not one of my favorite things to do. However, I no longer have any anxiety or dread. In fact, I'm really glad to know that I will be taken care of and be better off dental wise at the end of my visit. I'm still not going to make an appointment just to hang out in a dental chair but there is a lot of comfort knowing that so long as I go to Chattanooga Dental Care I will be treated well and have the very best care. My teeth are very important to me.

Dr Major was a good dentist at first. I had insurance for yrs when I th first started going to him. A tooth on my upper side partial broke off. He fixed it when I had insurance. I went through a horrible divorce n was paying out of pocket cuz I was paying out of pocket. It broke again and he fefused to fix it! He said he'd only make me a new partia,l which is thousands of dollars out of pocket! I went to Dr. Calloway in fort oglethorpe (my mom's dentist for 20yrs n he offered to fix the old one or make me a new partial for half the price Dr Major quoted me!!! I'd never go back to Dr Major. If u need a good dentist that's going to give u a good price n does great work, then go see Dr. Galloway in fort oglethorpe!!!!!

If you need regular general dentistry, Chattanooga Dental Care is a comfortable and convenient place for it.
