Before my appointment I received a friendly call and a friendly text the day after the call to remind me. - Had a warm welcome from Brandy at the front desk! - Staff, Dental Hygienist, and Dr. Sullivan were all extremely professional, encouraging, personable, efficient, knowledgeable and informative when caring for my teeth and time! - The biggest thing to me- they were all SUPER THOROUGH!!! They recommended how to improve day-to-day cleaning, a toothbrush that would be way more helpful (which I got to test out), and when I thought I knew everything necessary to cleaning my teeth, helped me learn/correct misconceptions I had about flossing, brushing gums, and plaque!!! At the end, they sent me home with a gift! Best in town for sure and I will be back!!

Dr. Pace, Jr., is outstanding. I have been a patient for over three years and all of his work has stood the test of time--no problems once the procedure is finished and no need for subsequent repairs. I moved to Murfreesboro several years ago, but I still happily make the trek to Nashville when I need dental work. I have a longstanding fear of dental pain, but I also hate the numb feeling after leaving the dentist. Dr. Pace, Jr., is always sensitive to both of these. Today, I had a procedure and expressed concern over numbness lasting the rest of the day and requested a product to deal with that. Instead of charging me for the product, Dr. Pace simply altered his treatment plan (at not cost to me) so that I would remain numb during the procedure but would return to normal sensation much more quickly afterward. The staff at Belle Meade are outstanding, and I have never been charged more than the price I was initially quoted. They are also quite quick. I had a scheduled appointment at 10:30 for two fillings. I was sitting in my car ready to leave (having had the procedure, paid, and walked out) at 10:49. I cannot recommend Dr. Pace, Jr., and the folks at Belle Meade highly enough.

Each hygienist I've had for a regular cleaning has been great. Dr. Sullivan was super patient and professional and even personally calls to check on you after a procedure. Although BMFD can be a bit more pricey than others, I'm willing to pay to feel comfortable, be treated well, and able to trust them for exceptional care.

I bought a dental appliance here that made me look terrible. The office made me pay for it and every other dentist and surgeon that I showed it to agreed that it was awful. Dr Pace's son even said that it was bad. I never received a refund and I left the office. He thought that it looked fine when he put it into my mouth originally. No attention to detail. A waste of time, money, and emotion.

Dr. Pace Jr. restored several teeth with a crown and also performed a root canal. He also referred me to Dr Heeren for 3 more root canals. Dr. Heeren is also a skilled and kind endodontist and Dr. Pace is an awsome dentist. I have had very positive dental care experiences from Dr Pace Jr., Dana, and other staff at Belle Meade Dental. Dr Pace and Dana explain everything before they go forward. He included me in his plans and encouraged my participation i.e. Showed X-rays or pictures to me before proceeding. They both check in often to see how I was doing. Dana anticipatesd my needs and is in synch with Dr. Pace. This builds trust and decreases stress. I had bad Dental experiences when I first moved to Nashville 2 years ago but Dr. Heeren diagnosed and fixed my jaw pain that I had experienced for 6 months from a crown that was not done properly. So I am grateful for Dr Pace's excellent care and referral and that I found a Dental home!

I was referred to Belle Meade Family Dentistry after a bad experience with another local dentist. Dr. Sullivan came into the office early on a Monday morning just to fit me into the schedule. The staff is professional, friendly, and punctual. I had a general cleaning and went back a week later for 2 fillings. Dr. Sullivan was gentle and fast; in and out in under an hour. Going to the dentist is never fun, but at least here you can be confident that your experience will be quick and relatively painless, all things considered.

This is a wonderful practice with a friendly staff. Dr. Pace Jr. is extremely knowledgable and is a gifted dentist. I highly recommend them.

They did not disclose all cost upfront after being asked too prior to receiving any work. Do not appreciate being blindsided by a high bill.I have never had to pay for a cleaning/xrays after insurance at ANY dentist. This place is extremely expensive for mediocre work. Will NEVER return, will never recommend.

I loved Tara my dental hygienist, by Dr. Pace Jr continues to disappoint. For the last two years I have wanted to leave this office, but come back because the hygienists are great. Dr Pace Jr is rude, uninterested etc. The front desk staff is rude and has no idea what is going on. Also I kept getting told to do extra stuff at my appointment because “it was free with insurance” while actually it was not because not only are they out of my network and didn’t say anything, they were premier so can charge what they want. I am extremely disappointed and probably will not return for services.

Great dental assistants clean your teeth with care, precision, and perseverance for those teeth full of stains or plaque. While the Dentist (Sullivan) has big, strong hands, they are as gentle and skilled as any dentist's hands I've ever had working on my teeth! Dr. Sullivan has replaced several fillings and a crown or two and I've never had any discomfort during the procedure or follow up problems. I highly recommend Pace and Sullivan at Belle Meade Dentists.

The worst dentistry ever!!!! Dr. Sullivan is the worst dentist. They do not care about you or your teeth, they just make money on you. During my visit there I felt like I am nothing. Dr. Sullivan did not even try to talk to me to explain my case, he was always in hurry for other patients which leads to less time for you and worse quality of his job with your teeth. I would not recommend this dentistry.

I am SO SO SO GLAD I CHOSE TO COME HERE!! I highly recommend this dentistry!! I was so wary of the dentist because of the last dentist I saw .... they listened to me and my concerns about my anxiety with dental work and talked me through the X-rays, exam and cleaning. I think it’s awesome that they show you your teeth on the monitor in the exam room instead of you never really knowing what they’re actually talking about regarding your teeth whether it’s cavities or existing fillings etc . I was seen by L. Temp Sullivan, DDS he was awesome . My hygienist was Tara and she was great also !! Very friendly personable staff. I was so full of anxiety about my appointment and I was quickly calmed and comfortable being in their care . I’m so relieved I found a great dentist here !
