I called on a Monday as I needed some help as soon as possible. I am not a big fan of going to the dentist! When the nice lady answered and I explained what I needed and best thing yet I was on my way to Sioux Falls at 9:00am and she said that there was a opening at 4:00 for a cleaning, checkup and even fixed my tooth problem. From the very start and went up to Check In - she knew I was nervous as I hadn’t been to the dentist for a few years.. the dental hygienist was so super kind and took my anxiety away. No scolding or eye rolling about me not being there or 3 years. So she cleaned my teeth and Dr. Ehlers was very happy that I came in and he told me what was wrong was not that uncommon. No cavities, my issue was fixed and then for the first time in a long time I even set an appointment for 6 months for another checkup!!! It was an excellent experience for someone who really is a chicken when it come to the dentist. Not anymore!! Thank you so much Courtney and Dr. Ehlers and the receptionist. Class act!!

I’ve been going to Dr. Ehlers for years now. This past year, I had an impacted wisdom tooth that got badly infected behind the gums. Dr. Ehlers and his dental assistant took very good care of me on numerous occasions. They cleaned and medicated the problem spot. After calling him and leaving a message at 4am, his office called me back as soon as they opened and got me in asap. They set up an emergency appt for me to get my wisdom teeth out the same day and took care of everything at no cost. It was hands down the BEST service I’ve ever received. After everything, I was one of the unlucky ones to get dry socket. He took good care of me by filling and medicating it at no charge since he knew how much pain I was in. He also help me set up an achievable plan for my dental work that’s affordable. The staff is amazing to work with and I’d highly recommend Dr. Ehlers to anyone looking for a genuine, affordable, caring, and great dentist.

The office staff are friendly but who ever handles billing and insurance claims should be replaced. After cleaning and checkup (which should be covered by my insurance) I would get a bill from park center six months after the appt. A total frustrating mess trying to get paid and once I had to pay because my insurance company said the claim wasn't filed on time. The clincher was dr.ehlers put a crown on. He checked with my insurance and told me it was covered. After the crown I had to pay a deductable ( a surprise to me). Four months later I get a bill for 500.00 more. After a warm and fuzzy conversation with Dr. Ehlers, I was threatened that it would be turned over to collections if I didn't pay. I paid the bill and two days later I got a letter from Dr. Ehlers telling me he didn't want me or my wife as patients any more and to find someone else. What a class act.

I used to love going here. However, over the years they have gotten lazy and have done terrible work. It all started a year ago when I went in for a cleaning. The dental hygienist knocked out my filling which happened to be in the middle of my front teeth (side note this dentist and this office was the one who originally did this filling so they should have known it was there). It left a huge gap and I cried when I smiled in the mirror. To say the least, I was horrified. I understand accidents happen but Dr Jason Ehlers didn't want to apologize or fix it. After some pleading, crying and multiple attempts to repair the filling it was fixed (although looking worse than when I came in). I was treated so poorly after this point. During this same visit I complained about my crown I had put it. It kept getting food stuck in it and I was convinced that it was broken. The dental hygienist argued it wasn't but after Dr Jason Ehlers looked at it he confirmed it was. We scheduled an appointment and I came back in. When I finally got it replaced I was again mortified to see the color of the crown totally off from the rest of my teeth! It wasn't until I seen another dentist who did X-rays to tell me that this crown was done poorly. They were very curious who would had done such a poor job and to take my X-rays back to the office for a refund. It was that bad! My new dentist told me the tooth with the crown had a cavity, the crown was poorly installed, already broken and didn't match my other teeth. When you're new dentist is appalled at how horrible the work of your old dentist is, then you know it's bad. There was also a lot more work that needed to be done (gum issues, cavity) that this dental office missed. So unless you want your teeth messed up and having your mismatched crown replaced every year I'd recommend going somewhere else.
