The experience here was perfect. I had a dental emergency and I was hundreds of miles away from home and my dentist office. This was the only place that would take me on short notice. The service was exceptional from information intake over the phone to the unexpected follow up from the dentist himself after my visit. I’m WOWED by the care and customer service. I saw Dr. Picard who was very knowledgeable, he walked me through everything he did and provided suggestions for long term care when I was able to follow up with my own dentist. He was simply phenomenal- I can’t say enough good things about him. He was gentle and extremely patient. He has a very calming sense about him. I’m not particularly fond of dentist visits so this was appreciated. The dental assistant Sarah was equally wonderful. Together they took a personal interest in not only my care but me as a patient. They knew I would probably only visit once but they treated me as if I was long term patient. They made the experience human. Dr. Picard called me after my visit to follow up and give me some tips for care after my procedure. Dr. Picard and staff seem to be genuinely kind and caring people. They turned a standard procedure into a memorable experience. After I left the office I returned for a business card so I could refer them to my sister who lives in the area. They were that good!

I have only been to Picard Dental twice so far but each time has been such a pleasant experience! My first appointment was to meet with Dr. Picard and evaluate my teeth / review my goals for my teeth. He was very pleasant and informative. The whole staff made me feel very comfortable from check in to check out. My second visit was for a cleaning (With Michelle) She was fantastic! She made sure that I was comfortable the entire time and always asked / explained the process before going on to the next step. They also did a few fillings at this appointment (lucky for me there was a cancellation and the doctor offered to do them that day!) I was very cautious about it at first. One of the girls went over all costs and best options for me which I really appreciated. She even called my insurance to see what they would cover!! When it came to the procedure itself Dr.Picard was FANTASTIC! I didn't feel anything! For anyone who is looking for a new dentist I HIGHLY recommend this office. The whole staff is incredible and I can finally feel comfortable getting dentistry!

I've been to Picard Dental recently for a filling replacement, as well as a permanent crown and before that, a temporary crown. I also go there regularly for cleanings. I found the staff extremely friendly and accommodating, as well as using my name when addressing me at all times. Dr. Picard is wonderfully thorough in his explanation of processes and has a gentle way about him while performing his work. It's interesting to hear how he is such a patient teacher to those assistants working with him who are in training. Overall it's a very professionally run office with a nice homey feel. Im really observant by nature, that being said the entire 1st visit was exceptional! The paintings on the walls by one of the family members were gorgeous! The cute married staffer who did my xrays had me in stitches! Not from biting down on tasty plastic razor blades, but from her uncanny sense of wit! Super funny and fun to be with. Thank u for that! She was gentle with the bite downs!! Ugh... Most notably the way that they placed me in the very last corner room for my first visit was extra cordial! Thank u for that also... i could continue but that would just be weird. I don’t usually do these but they were extra sweet too me so here you go! The dentist was just as great- :-)

Picard Dental Associates is a hidden gem in Woonsocket, RI. Dr Joel has been taking care of my family's dental health for my entire adult life and he has been great. He and his staff are top-notch, and the office environment is very warm and comforting. I really appreciate Dr Joel's attention to detail and his knowledge of all the current technologies. He uses the latest tech and techniques to create the best experience possible for his patients. I am pretty particular person, so having someone as detail oriented as Dr Joel is something I seek and respect. He takes the time to explain any upcoming procedure so that you are well informed and can relax. As adults now, our children certainly have the option of choosing another practice, but they are so pleased that they continue to see Dr Joel and his associates for all their dental needs. Everyone in the office - the administrators, the dental assistants, the hygienists - are all extremely competent and very friendly as well. They all make a trip to the dentist a pleasant experience. I have been a patient at Picard Dental Associates for about 3.5 years. I was referred to Dr. Picard by my periodontist. I could sense from the first visit that Dr. Picard and his staff were top notch and I found the right place to handle my case, which was an implant and crown. Throughout the process, the entire office was always friendly and welcoming. One of the things that has always stuck out with me, was that Dr. Picard would always call me the night after any procedure he had done on my case earlier in the day. My father in-law, who was a retired dentist and specialized in crown and bridge cases, often commented throughout the process that he could tell I was in very good hands. Even though the office isn’t that close to our house (Attleboro), my wife and I have since become full time patients for all our dental care at Picard Dental Associates.

I just had implants on my upper teeth and most of my bottom teeth I had caps. Due to my c.p. I move my jaw around creating grinding of my teeth. That make s it very difficult to work on my teeth. Dr. Picard and all of his staff are very understanding, and takes time with me. He explains every thing he does, and makes me feel very at ease. I highly recommend him to anybody. I still have allot of work to be done, but I know I am in the best hands with Dr. Picard and his staff . He knows his stuff!
