After seeing the same dentist for close to 20 years, I decided to branch out and locate a more up to date dental office that was privy in current day routine dental care. Dr. Shehadeh and his team of assistants were a welcoming and an automatic fit for me! Not only was I impressed by the state of the art examination rooms and the overall physical environment; but I was mainly convinced this practice was a good fit because of Dr. Shehadeh. He has hands down been one of the best doctor's I have ever seen. Dr. Shehadeh' s overall disposition is patient, calming and genuine, in respecting my concerns about my teeth-- and always doing his best to attend to those areas of concerns. I have seen him for small dental repairs, routine cleanings, and minor cosmetic dental repairs. He has always been informative while completing each procedure and made sure it was to my comfort before I left It has been close to 3 years since I became a patient of Dr. Eric George and Associates. I have recommended numerous family members and friends to this office, Dr.. "S" in specific... with full confidence that they would not be disappointed.

I first came here because it was so close by, but this office is flat out amazing! The staff, hygienists, and doctors here are all wonderful. I'm never shamed for not flossing enough (admit it - you don't do it either), but rather encouraged to do better. I really appreciated being told to not go from 0 to 100, but aim for 2 days a week, then 3, then 5 etc. That level of attention to how a patient is feeling causes me to believe any fear you have of going to the dentist is probably already on their radar, and they'll help you through it.

I really wanted to like this place. The only reason that I came here was because my amazing dentist whom I love no longer took the insurance I had. Had 1 cleaning which was fine. Then I had a filling on my front tooth that was chipped from when I was younger that came out after 2 years & needed to be filled. Went there in November, dentist was a bit arrogant & literally finished it in less than 10 minutes which I thought was fast compared to other times I have had this done. Fast forward to 5 months later it comes out again out of the blue. I thought this was odd, called got in the next day & told them I wasn't paying for this. Basically same guy came in whom I said I didn't want again & basically says its what I'm eating!! Tries to say I should get a veneer instead. Um nope, tries to give me novacaine which I never needed for this since its not near a nerve & to do a xray when I had some done 6 months prior! Way to hijack my insurance company, so naturally I refused the xray & novacaine & again 6 minutes done, fast forward to 1 month later its loose again!! I had it!! Went back to my old dentist since I got Delta back & she even said there was no reason for a veneer, took the time filed & polished it & even placed a small pin to help keep it in longer! Horrible practice I will never go back there, what scam artists & not quality work!

Gently gets the job done and gives great advise without the “upsale” but, makes sure you get the services you’re teeth may need by having a dentist, orthodontist or makes an appointment to see an oral surgeon depending of your personal needs! Dr. G & Associates has the most modern facilities... from the front desk to the equipment used. A very comforting environment! I’ve been a patient since 2000 Cleanings, Invisalign, night guards and retainers!

I am not a dentist person. Much reluctance when going to the dentist. A very bad too ache brought me to Dr George and Associates. Specifically Dr Bashar Shehadeh. This highly skilled dentist put all my worries at ease. Dr Shehadeh knew I needed an immediate root canal. He was booked for the entire day. What he said to me next is why I will never need to go to another dentist. Dr Shehadeh said that he could see in my eyes the pain I was suffering. He gave up his very brief lunch break and took me right then and there. The relief was amazing. The compassion admirable and the skill, Tufts dental school graduate, was the best. He is my dentist from here on. The crown Dr Shehadeh installed was perfect and still is. I have more broken teeth to conquer but it will definitely be with Dr Shehadeh. Absolutely love this dental office and staff. The welcome and respect is noticeable the moment you walk in. The office is very clean and so is the entire building. I've had the pleasure of having a cleaning with hygienist Marie L., she is just wonderful, and makes sure you don't leave until she's sure that your cleaning is complete. On another occasion I had an emergency, I called and the office got me in right away; I was treated by Dr. Dean Trubschenck and his assistant Tia R., and they were awesome. In general, most people are afraid to go to the dentist, but here, at the office of Dr. Eric George and associates, you can truly enjoy going to the dentist. Since my first visit, I've recommended my family and friends and continue to reccomend this office to everyone for their dental needs. So, if you are in need of dental work, I reccomend you to experience this office and the staff, you will truly NOT be disappointed or discouraged from their services.

My son and I had such a great experience at Dr. George and Assoc. I transferred to their practice a few months ago. My previous dentist told me I had 3 cavities and my son had one. This was confirm by my hygienist and Dr. Cornetta at my first cleaning visit. They made me feel at ease and comfortable, I felt no pain during the fillings AND I didn't have to take time out of work because they are open late- which is a BONUS! Keep up the great work.

Dr. Shehadeh and his assistant Kris Ann have given me my quality of life back! Recently I went in to see Dr. Shehadeh and his assistant Kris Ann because I was suffering from a cracked back tooth. I was in terrible pain. Because Dr. Shehadeh is so compassionate and empathetic the first thing that he did when he saw me was to give me a Novocain shot to relieve my pain even before he looked at the tooth. The cracked tooth is only the beginning of my story. Several years ago I was in an auto accident. I have had a persistent and severe headache ever since that accident. I have been to see so many doctors and had so many tests in an effort to get rid of this headache. I have taken meds daily for this ever since the accident but they only make the headache more tolerable and the headache has never gone away completely. I avoid all loud social events. This prevents me from seeing family and friends on many occasions. My husband is an avid motorcyclist and I use to ride with him all the time however since the accident it has been difficult. I have had earplugs professionally made so that I can go for short rides. I avoid loud restaurants, movie theaters and load noise in general. This headache has robbed me of my quality of life, precious time spent with my loved ones and the ability to do things that I enjoy. When Dr. Shehadeh repaired the crack in my tooth my headache released for the first time since the accident! The countless specialists and all of the tests never led to the fact that this could be a dental problem. I hope that if you are reading this and you are in need of a dentist you go to see Dr. Shehadeh and Kris Ann. You will be in the best hands ever. Thank you Dr S. and Kriss Ann!! You and all of the people at Dr George & Associates are amazing at what you do!

Not going back to them after being happy with them for about a year. The dentist I saw said I needed a root canal and crown. After putting in for the work with my insurance we got a rejection letter stating the work was unnecessary. So they brushed it off and submitted an appeal. Again they were rejected for the same reason. So I called to cancel the work until this all got straightened out. I was supposed to hear back and its been over a week and not a single phone call, text or email. Wondering what's going on now and if I should alert the health dept about this situation. It appears there's a number of other reviews claiming billing fraud or problems and unnecessary work so it creates a lot of concern for me. Definitely not letting them near my teeth anymore!!!

Well let me tell you right now I hated going to the dentist but my dental assistant krissann was phenomenal. The doctor was so reassuring. I'm sorry I waited this long. I haven't smiled in a long time and thanks to this office I will be smiling again. So thank you krissann and the dentist for putting a smile back on my face

Office was very clean and cheerful. Was greeted by a very pleasant receptionist. Did not have to wait long. Anne, my hygienist was sweet and professional and did a great job. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because of lack of privacy. Was in the first exam room next to front desk. Was very noisy, could hardly hear hygienist speak not to mention lack of privacy. Otherwise an EXCELLENT experience! *UPDATE * Second visit, not so impressed. Waited for Dentist then felt like procedure was rushed. Not happy with results. Office staff still nice and professional. Dental assistant was just ok. Might go back one more time. Maybe this was an off day?

This place has a few good dentists, bit their billing is shady. They waited until after doing my fillings, to tell me that they are out of network with my insurance. They do not do amalgam fillings, and charged me an additional $200 over what my insurance would cover. I walked out paying nearly $1000 for a cleaning and four fillings. Fillings that my military dentist didn't say I needed. Cancelling all of my appointments and finding a new dentist.

I love it here. Makayla has done my teeth and is good, she’s thorough, gentle, and friendly. I believe she did my son’s teeth last time. This year, Anne did my kids teeth. She was amazing with both kids, explaining everything and gently encouraging good dental hygiene with her soothing voice. The 8 year old said it was even more fun than last time and he wanted to do it again. (Yes he was serious on both counts.) The 2 year old didn’t fuss at all. I highly recommend this place. They are also excellent about explaining costs and work, they don’t hide things.

So my first visit back in November was great the dentists were so nice and accommodating. I chose here for the sedation dentistry. We had a plan to remove the tooth but I found out I was pregnant. Today I call to be seen so I can get some antibiotics for the tooth because the pain has returned. My plan was to go back to them in July after I deliver my daughter so Sedation dentistry would be an option. They tell me today I can't get antibiotics for the infection. They will only see me if I'm going to pull it. So let me get this straight I'm pregnant and they are forcing me to get it pulled and if I choose not to they won't prescribe something for the infection even though any infection in your body is bad for my child. What a great practice. So much for putting the patient first. Will never come back here and will make sure no one I know will come here either. Receptionist was a joke just like the office manager who wants to make choices for me.

Billing is so shady. Never disclosed information to me about charging for fillings, (normally covered by insurance). They use a special filling that cost $50 a piece. After the fact they told me the receptionist should have told me while scheduling the appointment, Liars.

By far, one of the best Dental Practices I have ever been to, I was there a few days ago having a pretty evasive procedure done, I was quite nervous before the procedure, and the Hygienist, Nancy F. and the Dentist went out of their way to make me more comfortable, dimming the lights, reassuring me that the procedure would be quick and painless and simply being extremely patient with me. I had an appointment earlier today with Dr. Shehadeh at Eric George DMD & Associates in Coventry. OMG......I really don’t even have the words to describe how absolutely amazingly beautiful the experience was.....and this was for 2 EXTRACTIONS! Perhaps it’s best to give you, kind readers, a little background on myself and going to the Dentist. Hmmmm, let’s see how I can best and most easily convey my feelings on this particular matter. I can’t stand going to the Dentist as I am afflicted with Dental Phobia or FEAR of going to the Dentist after DECADES of dental procedures. Having this particular phobia has literally ruined me in certain aspects of life. I feel I better not go into the details of how having this fear negatively impacts a person because I don’t want to highlight negativity. Let’s get back to how fantastic my visit was at Dr. Eric George’s and in particular with Dr. Shehadeh. The great experience begins as soon as you enter the establishment and you are greeted by the adorable Ashley or any of the staff that work at Dr. Eric George DMD & Associates. Every single person there is so nice and kind and friendly toward you that you are instantly put at ease. I was given a tour of the entire place of business before filling out the customary paperwork required by insurance companies and dental offices. That was actually a couple days ago (my first visit). Flash forward to today when I had my actual double extraction. I was given medication to calm me down and sedate me and thank the Gods for the discovery of these medications. After receiving a dose of numbing novocaine, Dr. Shehadeh removed my 2 teeth in a matter of SECONDS! I didn’t feel pain during the entire treatment!! I can’t tell you how pleased this makes me after a lifetime of Dentists telling me that I would not feel any pain and then I would

My son went in for a cavity filling on august 31 2017. The process went fine but he must have bitten his mouth overnight in his sleep because he woke up alittle swollen and raw inside his mouth. We have him children's Motrin and he said he felt ok and the swelling went down and he said he wanted to go to school but when he came home the bruise was twice as big and his face was twice as big and his mouth long ten times worse! Called the office and they said to bring him in immediately so they could look at it. Ok sounds good maybe it's they stand by there work and they wanted to make sure he was ok. The dentist proceeds to tell me that it couldn't have happened from the procedure that he had to have fallen or gotten hit and that's what happened but he really needs to go the ER to get stitches and maybe some antibiotics or something. Really, your a dentist and you can't take care of a mouth issue that you caused!!! He didn't fall he didn't get hit he was numb and bit his cheek bad! So i brought him to the walkin up the road which so happens to be where my doctor is and they took him in free of charge and looked at it. Said it was bad but in no way needs stitches just steer clear of irritating foods and to ice and medicate for pain!!! Needless to say we will not be going back to Dr. George and Associates! Oh and the rest of my family that goes quiet frequently for issues say they won't be going back either!

Dr. Shehadeh is fantastic! I'm very anxious at dental appointments however Dr. Shehadeh is compassionate and caring which puts me more at ease. I saw Dr. Shehadeh for a second opinion of a broken tooth on the recommendation of several family members. The dentist I originally saw said the tooth would need to be extracted and I would then need an implant. After x-rays and an exam Dr. Shehadeh told me none of that was necessary; a root canal and crown would be the best option. He performed the root canal that day and saved the tooth! This was about 8 months ago and everything is great; there's no pain and the crown is perfect - there's no way to know there was ever a problem. I've seen Dr. Shehadeh twice since then and each time I've been equally pleased. He truly is the best dentist I've known and is the only dentist I'll see. Dr. Shehadeh is knowledgeable, competent and treats his patients with kindness and respect.

My first appointment was X-rays and making a plan to fix my teeth..they made me feel extremely comfortable right away...fast forward to yesterday....I had my first surgery and it couldn’t have gone better! No pain at all even on day 2 and I could go about my normal routine like nothing ever happened!! They are very welcoming here! I will never go to another dentist after this experience! Toni Ann is absolutely horrible. I called to get into a Pano .and the first time she hung up on me. The 2nd time she argued everything I was telling her as to why I was referred to them for a pano vs regular xray. She was extremely aggressive and argumentative. I have worked in customer service for 25 years and never have I ever been treated so poorly on an initial telephone call when I was seeking new services. Obviously this place is NOT what others have said. Not only will I not be switching here but I will be telling everyone I know how rude Toni Ann is. Maybe you should hire someone with class and personality.

My daughter is a resident of a nursing home. She had a toothache and needed to see a dentist. Dr. George's practice was recommended by the nursing home. After contacting the practice, we were informed that to receive the compassionate and comprehensive care that Dr. George advertises would not apply to my daughter. The reason is unfortunately that she is covered by medicaid and medicare. So all the testimonies and self grandeur assoctiated with Eric George, DMD, FAGD, DICOI, FAAID, DABOI in his TV and print ads do not apply to folks that are saddled with medicare and or medicaid. Only in America!

I've heard MANY stories of their billing antics and I can attest to it as well. I wish they would disclose UP-FRONT and be detailed about it. However all of this is negated due to how terrified I've always been of the dentist and to be honest, they've done such an amazing job that I'm even looking forward to finishing up and going back very soon. The staff(ladies)are ALL very pretty and nice, the office is well cleaned, the location is great. Overall my experience has been great with a few minor issues, that I've addressed and were taken care of. But the billing? Yes, please DO fix your approach on this so that patients are not being hit with unexpected bills.

This office told me I had eight cavities after never having a cavity in my life. Nothing ever hurt in my mouth, so I was surprised to hear that I had all these cavities all of a sudden. After getting a second opinion at another dental office, I had ZERO cavities! They are a mill house, getting you in, and out as soon as possible, doing work that doesn't have to be done. Stay Away!
