First of all, Dr Nogueira saved me from a bad experience that I had from a previous dentist in Dartmouth MA. A root canal that went bad. I experienced great deal of pain from my root canal and a terrible infection. He was able to get me out of pain and fix & saved my tooth. Also, his assistant Citalisa who I I can't say enough about she & dr Nogueira are a great team. My second experience, is when I had a implant ( crown) done. DR N directed me to a oral surgeon that he works closely with. And Dr N completed the crown. The results are perfect! I have now recommended many clients to Dr N's practice ( Aquidneck Dental) And only recieved great feedback. Last note, is this office is equipped with state of the art technology. Which many practices don't have. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My time at Aquidneck Dental was fantastic. Beautiful building, friendly staff and I was in and out for a bridge without a hitch. Dr. Nogueira made time to see me and explained things as he went along in a very professional, friendly, and calm manner. If I could give six stars, I would!

I requested a consultation for veneers as a more permanent solution to 2 bonded teeth. At first the receptionist insisted that I have a cleaning with them even though I recently had one at my own family dentist, she finally relented & made an appointment. I saw Dr. Gus Nogueira. During my consultation with him, he told me at least 4 times that my insurance would not cover the work & was I aware of the cost of the veneers. I felt like he was insinuating that I may not be able to afford them even though I had researched the cost & could obviously afford them or wouldn't be wasting their time or mine. He quoted $1200 for each veneer, then insisted I needed a nighttime mouth guard for several hundred more dollars because he could tell from the "wear" on my teeth that I grind them at night. I have never been told by any other dentist that I grind my teeth or needed a mouth guard. I felt like he was trying to get me to buy an unnecessary item, (which is weird since he acted like I couldn't afford the veneers). If you want to feel judged, made to feel poor & not good enough to be in his office, then go see Dr. Nogueira. If not, do yourself a favor & stay away from this place. I ended up going to another cosmetic dentist on the island. They made me feel welcome & I got my veneers for $900 each & I am very happy with the work. They also said I didn't need a nighttime mouth guard!

Willing to travel across two bridges to see Dr Nogueira. Not a big fan of going to the dentist, Dr Nogueira and his staff really help take the anxiety out of the visit.Recently had a broken tooth had to call for an emergency visit.The procedure was very quick and painless. i will continue to do what i can to be able to see Dr. Nogueria and his Hygienists.
