My husband and I have both been patients of Dr. Terrery for years. Although hubby has been blessed with good teeth, Dr. Terrery has diagnosed a needed root canal, constructed a new bridge for a missing tooth, and installed porcelain veneers for me. I am very happy with my smile and the service we receive. All of the assistants are patient and kind and we have received excellent care of the years. I would highly recommend his office!

This is a very strange doctor, he refused to accept my child, only because I asked him a question. Before the procedure, I asked the doctor which of my daughter's teeth needed a filling? He jabbed at the screen, shouted 'im done, im done' and ran out of the room, and refused to do the fillings. At the desk, the nurse said that it is important for the doctor to feel comfortable in order for them to work on a client. Since when can you not ask a doctor a question, especially when they are about to work on your kid? All of this is very strange. Honestly, I'm shocked.

Went for crown consultation, but Dr Terrery found 3 cavities that he suggested to get filled. The staff never called my insurance to check for X Ray eligibility and did the Xray anyway, insurance declined, and I received the bill from the office for $160. I had bargain with Dr Terrery to not have to pay. On the next visit, he filled all 3 cavities in 30 min. He said during the process that he had to drill one deeper then normal. These teeth did not bother me before, but after the fillings were put in, they are all sensitive and the one that he had to "drill deeper" now hurts and I need medication to cope. I will need a root canal now b/c of my visit at the office. The office manager is very unpleasant. She told me that doctor does not call patients back when I asked to speak with the Doc. The dental assistants are very nice on the other hand.

I give Terrery Dental zero stars. I only hit one star cos you cannot post without giving a star. I am reading the reviews and I have those very experiences. Went for a filling and Dr. Terrery spent maybe seven to ten minutes to DRILL WAY TOO DEEP into my tooth and left there needing a root canal which his nurse told me he does not do. I was told that he does not speak with patients by the nurse who was ROTTEN TO THE CHORE. She made false allegations in an unsigned, undated letter she sent to my home. I could go on and on but STAY AWAY FROM THIS DENTISTRY!! I am still in pain since 7/14/17!

We were referred to Dr. Terrery’s office by a family friend years ago, and have been going to him ever since. Dr. Tererry, along with his office staff and hygienists, have been nothing short of professional, kind, helpful and friendly. The office is immaculate. There is never a wait, and any time we have had an issue that needed to be addressed in the office, Dr. Terrery’s office staff has accommodated us immediately, getting us appointments right away. I could not ask for anything more from this office~

I had to find a dentist on a saturday. I had a difficult extraction with another dentist which left a lot of painful bone fragments under my gums and some protruding through them. Not only did he and his staff listen to my concerns, Dr. Tererry charged me an extremely reason rate. He gave a $97 discount since I paid cash for this visit considering I was new there and wasn't a current patient. I'll be going back to him from now on.

I have had nothing but good experiences with this office. Having been a dental assistant, I have seen dentists that push unnecessary work or do inferior work, Dr. Terrery has done neither to me. He is fast, efficient and sticks to his schedule. No sitting in waiting room for long periods of time. Staff is very pleasant . I highly recommend Terrery Dental.

I’ve been going to Dr. Terrey for years and have had several procedures done. The office staff is pleasant and professional and I never wait past my appointment time. It’s definitely worth the drive from Dunmore to Bartonsville for my dental care needs. I highly recommend!

My first visit with Terry Dental was no problem. I came in for just a routine cleaning. It had been sometime and some hundreds of packs of cigarettes - so when the dental hygienist told me I needed a more extensive cleaning I wasn't surprised. It wasn't until they started to fill cavities that I began to have issues. 3 weeks ago, I had the upper right side of my mouth worked on - 2 weeks ago the left bottom half. Today I was supposed to get more work done - but I was still in such extreme pain that I switched the nature of my appointment and just wanted the doctor to look at me. After I explained to the assistant that EVERYTHING hurts my mouth - that I can’t even eat - I can’t sleep at night - it causing me ear pain - it is extremely sensitive to the point where everything I eat or drink hurts - she went and told the doctor. The doctor STILL didn't come to look at me - and had the nerve to say that it was NORMAL. I can assure you – I’ve had cavities filled before, I’ve had my wisdom teeth extracted – I’ve had a root canal done - and I’ve never been left in this much pain for this long. I will never ever return to Terry Dental - and I will do anything in my power to steer people away from his office. Not only is he the most uncompassionate doctor I've ever seen he is also very unprofessional. He would talk down to all the assistants I’ve seen in there. I heard the assistant tell him that ALL of my teeth hurt and I can’t pin point just one and he told her that isn’t possible and to do a better job. SHE WAS RIGHT. I’m so unhappy with this doctor. All the other staff was super friendly but he is NOT GOOD. I wonder how many assistants he goes through ........

The staff was great! Very friendly and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Terrery on the other hand was not personable and didn't care in the slightest bit that I was a little nervous. I got shots in my upper and lower sides of my mouth, and when he went to work on my cavities I flinched. He dropped his tool on the tray and said that's it. He left the room. I tried to talk to his assistant to continue the process because at this point my face was already numb. He refused and referred me to a sedation dentistry that doesn't accept my insurance! I left in tears. He had no patience! I guess I'll have to find a different dentist.

As a person who works 12 hours a day, Monday thru Friday 6am-6pm, I really appreciate the fact that Dr Terrery has Saturday hours. Very convenient. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and Dr Terrery is great. My only complaint would be that I have to go back multiple times instead of getting everything done in one visit. Multiple copays etc. Other than that Terrery Dental is great.

Went to have a crown cemented back in because it came out while eating. While I knew from the beginning it needed to be properly done I don't have the 2-3k cash to drop on this kind of work. After he initially took a look he started spewing out all this work we would have to do and I could hear the cash registers dinging in my head.. I said no I can't afford it right now can you just cement it back in? After he begrudgingly agreed he was pretty rough and just shoved it in not even bothering to clean around the current post. Then he did not even clean off the remainder of the cement. So I have cement on other teeth around it and in between my two front teeth there is cement.. making me unable to floss. He's a cosmetic dentist who really wants your money. I would avoid. Try Dr. Wert in Tannersville.

His staff NEVER pressures you when they call or send a msg to remind you of your appointment that you made. Courtesy and professional is an understatement.... Hygienists were great (only reason I gave 2 stars instead of one), but always felt like a number with Dr. Terrery. If you are looking for a personable dentist look elsewhere. When I finally took the initiative to go to another dentist, it reinforced my decision as I learned new things about the health of my teeth. They actually took the time to explain things. Glad I decided to LEAVE Terrery Dental. Would NOT recommend.

Dr. Terrery is great at what he does without a doubt. He’s just lacking customer service in my opinion. He walks into the room, does his job (A GREAT JOB) and is gone with the wind. I’m sure he can become drained, frustrated or tired running his business as he is only human. However, being a little personable with a genuine friendly “hello” and “have a good day,” would be greatly appreciated with each visit. On the other hand, his staff is very caring, professional and helpful and for that I don’t mind having this office as the go to place for my family. In addition, his office is very clean and there is very minimal wait time if any.
