My older son suffers from an anxiety disorder and they have been great with him every time he goes! Both my boys are always excited to go when it's their time. Very friendly staff and hygienists and I can't say enough about the Dr! We just love them all! We also just recently got to meet Dr Scott and she is great too! Sure glad to have another great doctor on staff!!

We LOVE Tender Care. The front desk, hygienists, doctor and entire staff are all so sweet with kids and great with the parents as well. Everything about this practice goes above and beyond all of my expectations. I just cannot say enough wonderful things about this office.

I wish I had been able to go to a dentist like this when I was a kid. Heck, I'm 30-something and wish I could go there now, lol! The staff are very friendly and helpful. Its a whimsicle atmosphere. Not intimidating or scary at all. My kids never whine when I tell them they have to go to a dentist appt. now.

Originally I liked this place, boy did that change! I have 4 children and 2 always have dental problems. They take FOREVER to get an appointment even when my 2 year old daughter was in pain and couldn't eat we had to wait almost 2 months to get her in to get her teeth fixed!!!! Then when I missed 2 appointments in 2 YEARS they dismissed my whole family! THEY DID NOT EVEN NOTIFY ME until I called to make an appointment! What a joke!! If you like waiting FOREVER to get an appointment and the wait FOREVER in the waiting room go ahead go here, but I highly suggest not wasting your time!!!

Liked at first but not so much now. I'm fairly upset with this office. They have a no-show/co-call policy that if you don't show for an appointment, they stop taking your child. Understandable. However, when I tried to reschedule an appointment for my daughter I was told that because they didn't show up for a cleaning earlier in the month (I forgot, I admit) and because they missed one 6 months prior, they couldn't come back. The one six months prior was on THEM. We called to let them know our child had a cold, and the Dr. decided that it should be rescheduled and her staff were to call us back to let us know....they NEVER called. This was a pattern. If we would call the office with a question we wouldn't get a call back for a few days or not at all. They very often would reschedule on us out of the blue and we were expected to comply. I have four kids. They would never schedule all at once, even though one is 16. They aren't little kids who misbehave. My husband and I both work, so taking time out of work to take 2 kids here and 2 kids there isn't as easy as they think it should be. If Dr. Beatrice needed time out for her plastic surgery, they would drop or reschedule us. Which brings me to my next point...if you have plastic surgery...maybe not do dental work on my kids while your incisions are still bloody and your stitches are still there...just saying. Communication from the staff was flat out terrible. TWICE I was told at one appointment that they would "watch" a certain tooth and the next time would not be told that my child was having an extraction until she was in the chair. This happened two different times to two different daughters. The care, overall was fine. The office staff....need better trained. If you live nearby then this place may be convenient but overall, I would not recommend, at least if you are a busy person and have more than one or two children.

My son has loved this office since his first visit. His prior dentist he would scream and cry but here they are so on the kid level it has made it so much better for him.

This is a wonderful office. Outside huge animals loom over the building. Once you enter the waiting room it's like an underwater adventure! More sculpted animals are in the office, teddy bears surfing, fish, dolphins, and surfers enchant you...also a huge TV where you can find Spongebob and Patrick running a muck. There are touch screen games and video games to keep the kids busy while you wait. The office also has Ginger the therapy cat. You can find her dressed in festive outfits for all occassions. We love all the girls in the office...everyone from the receptionists to Dr. Bea herself. The rooms are all decorated too in the same sea adventure scheme. We have known Julie and Jackie for about 6 years...they truly care about the kids they take care of...it's a great office! Wish there were dentist offices like this when I was a kid!!!

Honestly don't know where some of these reviews are coming from. I had an amazing experience. My son being only 2 years old was able to enjoy his whole visit from the waiting room to checking out. I look to further visits with this practice.

Idiotic, rude dentist. Would not take my dog here to be put down. Dentist tried to kill my child by over prescribing antibiotics. 1000mg of Augmentin daily for a 7 year old kid? Pharmacist will be getting a 5 star review for catching this dentist's mistake.

I would not recommend this pediatric dentist to anyone!! Besides the look of everything and the extra kid friendly things provided, its horrible!! I had my daughters teeth filled bc she had 2 cavities. They didnt drill out the decay. Just placed a filling on top. After having some pain months later. It took us 2 months to get it to be seen. At that time we were running late because of road construction. At which I called 15 min before my scheduled appointment to warn them. As we live in Latrobe and the office is in Mt. Pleasant. When we got there we were to late and turned away. At the time I started crying and demanding her files bc she was in pain and I was no longer going to be a patient there (yes I know about appointments but I cant control what happened and had already been 2 months out on a waiting list) Suddenly a spot opened up an hour and a half later that we got into. When we got back to the office after going to the nearest plaza to hang out, we were rushed and pushed through. Xrays, the doctor coming in and saying the tooth is now infected and needs to be removed without explanation and pushed out the door. I instantly called Miracle Dental. Best decision ever!! I was in within a week. They were so helpful and understanding. Also very very caring!! By far the best office to take your children. While my daughter did have to get sedated to have the tooth removed from the infection. They also had to remove the other filling tender care placed to remove the decay they didnt even take out and just cover up!! Take your children elsewhere!! They do not care about their patients

For those who say "I don't understand the negative comments" let me just tell you the place looks very nice and kids do love the atmosphere, HOWEVER, DO NOT let your children get colored fillings here!! My kids got colored fillings on baby teeth and when our insurance changed and we had to get a new dentist he was....and I quote...HORRIFIED at their dental work. He told me that colored fillings are terrible and cause the teeth to worsen meaning more money for the dentist when you have to go back constantly and for several teeth the xrays showed that the entire cavity was not removed prior to putting in the filling. Our new dentist does lectures for student dentists and actually asked my permission to use the kids dental xrays to show what not to do and why! I am totally mortified because I like everyone else really thought this place was great for so long!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD HERE! The only thing nice I have to say about the place is the staff are friendly and the place itself is very kid friendly and looks very nice inside. BUT they had my child do an X-ray and could not get the angle right so took 30 minutes for my kid to sit there biting on the stick because they could not get it right. My child is 3 years old and was an angel and did everything they asked her to do.. turn head this way, bite down now, etc. took two people 30 minutes to get a correct x Ray.. then, when they looked at her mouth and told me she needed work I took her to children’s dental for a second opinion since they gave me a bad vibe. At children’s I found out she actually has an extra tooth in her mouth and tender care didn’t even notice it! If you can’t see that my 3 year old has a whole extra tooth in her mouth do I really want to trust you putting her under and doing dental work? I don’t think so, children’s dental went over everything and even cleaned her teeth for her at her first visit. Take the extra drive go to children’s dental.. these people do not know what they are doing!!!

Not happy with the they wanted too put my son under to pulled his teeth all at once! Went to DMD Keith in Greensburg and just used laughing gas to pull one tooth at a time so much cheaper and much safer!!!

I know of 3 children who had cavities filled by them just to end up having abscess teeth and need them pulled within a couple months. Everyone is so nice and seams genuine but they are just cashing insurance checks left & right. Kids in the waiting room begging they moms not to have another tooth extraction. It’s awful. My child got a tooth pulled because of their negligence practice and I still get a bill, which is paid only bc I want to put this place behind me and never look back. Be ware. Get second opinions. They are good with cleanings but I’d go elsewhere for anything more. It’s worth the out of pocket expense.

Very kid friendly place and people. Accomadating staff. They made my daughters visit very relaxing. However the doctor appeared on several occasions to be a little judgemental on parenting styles. Sometimes making sneer comments. She is overall good at her job.

Terrible service. Our child was scared for his first filling but they only allowed one parent back with him. He ended up being so terrified they had to hold him down. There was another boy screaming in terror, I can only assume they were filming SAW 9 in that room. The cat is the best employee there. Highly not recommended unless you want the opposite of tender care.

I promise you if your child has any work done you will end up having to have it fixed again by another dentist. Poor, horrible, and awful work! Such a horrible thing that she is still in practice! These poor children have to endure the work to begin with and the quality that she performs is less than par. She left several decay areas under 2 caps for my daughter, which resulted in infections on both. We couldn’t figure out why the problems continued after the work was completed. We brush twice a day, floss, and use mouth wash. Well the problem was not with us, it was with the poor work done by Dr. Larouche. I promise you something will go wrong! Please do not take your child here!

WORST DENIST EVER. The lady denist is very in professional and rude. My child got teeth filled in 2017 and he was 4. When my child was done, in the recovery room, he was still out cold on the little bed they have in the recovery rooms. He started waking up crying, so I picked my child up and sat down with him on the bench in there with me to calm him down. She came in, ripped my child from my arms and Rhee him back on the table, screamed at them then went out to another worker in there and pointing at me screaming, while my child is screaming on the table for me. NEVER AGAIN. I'm not the first to have horrible problems with her.

I wish I could give 0! They have falsified my records. Saying they updated my info for contacting me but never did I even wrote it down. Also said they mailed out letters I never received. Also they rush you through because they have too many patience. If you want the best for your children don't take them here had too many issues and know too many people who won't go back

I have taken my daughter there where she was in school. She needed braces. Tender care did her braces. Then the orthodontist quit. After all said and done one if the brackets broke off. Called this place and was told she no longer can come her because she is an adult! Ok I get that! Call and try too get her another orthodontist nope ins. Wont cover it now. Then i make my grandson an appt 9 months ago. Take him in on his appt day. Just to sit there for 50 minutes too tell me that they cant take him because i dont have a notarized paper stating that i have custody BUT Tgey papers i do have I used to sign him up for preschool and doctors appt AND Just took him to the eye dr that morning!! Every where i took my grandson too accepted the papers!! Very VERY unprofessional place and the office staff have NO idea what there doing!!!

1st and 2nd appt was good. The 3rd appt I made was because my son lost his cap. Took him in, he was in tears screaming crying as they shoved another cap in and was bleeding. How do I know? Because I was the one holding him down. Their answering service is rude and disrespectful, they hung up on me TWICE in the middle of me talking. Really rethinking about taking my son else where.

We recently just moved to the area so I had to reach out via the Facebook swap shops to get recommendations on a pediatric dentist. From the very first phone call I knew that this office would be amazing. My middle son has major fears and anxiety about the Dentist due to a horrible experience with his very first dentist appointment back in Florida. He was so happy today at this dentist office that it was unbelievable. Between the awesome game where they get to stomp on things that are projected onto the floor to the extremely friendly nurses who helped us all along the way. The office staff is extremely friendl he was so happy today at this dentist office that it was unbelievable. The office staff is very quick and efficient as well as goes to great links to make sure you understand what procedure your child will be having done. For me it was about 40 minutes out of the way but I will continue to drive there for all three of my kids dentist needs.
