Great practice! You can do the paperwork ahead of time on the computer, so there is no need to hold your children/infants while you are trying to write. The staff is very pleasant and the office is clean and modern. They also got my daughter right in for an appt. because she was having pain in her teeth. I've been to several different pediatric dentists in the past (have seven kids, two of which are special needs) and this is the best one by far. Very convenient too and lots of parking. They were also very prompt on taking us in so we didn't wait long at all. I highly recommend them!

I would like to say are you guys take care of my daughter so well. I noticed when she had a cavity and you had to numb her with a needle I noticed the dentist hit it so she wouldn't see it. Paperwork is such a pain to fill out while standing and holding an infant, and if your child actually needs work down they schedule 3-4months out then call right before the appointment they call you at your work number to tell you they can't do it and at some point someone will call you to reschedule! Absolutely ridiculous, worst dentist we have been to in the area!

The staff at Sprout Dental is amazing. They are always kind, caring and compassionate. They are big on the “no fear” factor and honestly make going to the dentist really fun for the kids. My son loves it there. Just recently he’s starting being a little afraid after having to have a tooth pulled and they always handle it well, talking him through everything that’s being done. We never have to wait long to be seen and if we do, it’s honestly not a big deal because it’s so worth the wait!

This morning I called Sprout dental to make an appt. For a first time visit for my 1yr old. The women were friendly and inviting. They actually were able to schedule me an appt for today . Patient info can be done online on their site or send to your email. Another option is you can complete the Info on a iPad at the office .so no trying to fill out paperwork and chase a kid at the same time. We went to our appt and the waiting room was nice they had crayons and coloring pages for the kids ,TV and a few toys. The dental staff were amazing and knew just how to approach a 1yr old who is unfamiliar with the dentist. We got a cleaning and fluoride treatment and were on our way within 35 minutes of walking in .

So we previously left Smiles for Keep because I couldn't stand how they take your children to the back with no parental presence ( and it wasn't made better when my daughter came out with different pants, apparently she had an accident) ANYWHOOO, we just got back from our first visit with Sprout Dental. The waiting room was fresh and clean. The staff were super welcoming AND accommodating to take in ALL four of my children, with mommy and daddy trailing along. Can I add the staff were the sweetest!! They were gentle with my treasures and got them interested in their dental care. My children enjoyed the televisions on the ceiling and the icecream flavored "tooth paste". We later met with Dr. Alesia who went over their findings with us, and Even brought us close to see for ourselves (one of our little's, caps fell off). They gave us print outs of our children's xray (which was really appreciated) and made sure we didn't leave without a proper understanding of what the next visit will consist of and also preplanned our next 6 month visit. After the experience we've had at previous dental offices, this felt like a God-Sent. ThoseGilligans approve and look forward to their dental care that WILL be provided by this office!!

At first, being a new mom, I was insanely happy to find a dedicated pediatric dentist in my area. The first few visits I brought my boys too, I was impressed. Then, my eldest (4 At the time), needed fillings. I was walked through the procedure, including how he would be sedated and how things would be handled. To my horror, I walked in after the procedure to find my child cowering in a corner, clutching his dolls to his chest, red faced and crying. From that point on, he screamed when we went to brush his teeth . I called the office to find out what on earth happened, and was told that a visiting dentist was there that day, and didn't follow procedure. My child had his teeth drilled without proper effective sedation. He was screaming and crying in the procedure room while I was in the waiting room and I was never notified. I had to wait until my 4 year old child could find the words to tell me what happened. The office apologized, and I decided to write it off and move on. Now my second son needs fillings. He too is four. It's January. We've all had strep throat in the past week, and my husband is home with what sounds like could be the flu. He also has a potentially fatal sleeping disorder that we have just begun testing for. It's been stressful. It's been scary and difficult and exhausting. My son was to have his fillings done today. My husband stayed home from work with his illness. We discussed that our son was not to have anything to eat or drink because he had his procedure scheduled for this morning. The boys and my husband were up before me today. My husband forgot the instructions for our child, and gave our son juice. I immediately called the office to tell them. Much to my surprise, Dr Kady got on the phone with me, and said "we do not appreciate the non compliance with the instructions you were given, and we will not be rescheduling your son for sedation in the future." When I explained it was an accident (obviously), she went on to berate me as a parent. She said "if this were my child, I would have done whatever I had to do to make sure he didn't drink anything." Well, Dr Kady, I thought I had. I had no idea that I was the only imperfect parent you've ever met, and that we are the only family in your practice to have an accident and make a mistake. Dr Kady did call to apologize. She said her practice has SO many patients and they are under SO much pressure. She realized she should not have said what she did right after she hung up. Well, Dr Kady.... I warned you after the incident with my eldest. You don't get a third chance. There is no excuse for "mom shaming" me. In fact, by immediately calling you when I found my son had drank something, I was doing MY job as a mom and protecting HIM. MY SON and his well being come before your hectic schedule and before your antsy situation from having so very many patients that it's too difficult for you to handle . But, I'll help you out. You have two less patients to deal with now. Two less innocent children with imperfect parents to make your life so miserable. Hopefully that frees up enough time in your schedule for you to focus on your professionalism and learn how to properly talk to people. And being a woman yourself, you should be ashamed. I don't know if you have kids yourself, but we live in a society that blames mom's for everything. Everything. As women, we should be understanding of one another. Not shame each other for something as innocent as a 4 year old drinking juice because his dad was sick and his mom was exhausted from taking care of every damn thing. Shame on you. And how dare you.

I used to love this place. They would schedule all my 4 kids at the same time. I feel they do unnecessary work. My 5 year old had broken a baby tooth. They decided they needed a crown done. They scheduled the appointment 3 months from the date I took her. I explained my concern about sedation. They called me the night before asking if I had questions. 3 months into this I still have concerns about the sedation... Well I cancelled. The next morning I get a call from children and youth.... Do not go to this dentist. I will be looking for a new pediatric dentist.

This office really goes above and beyond to make the kids and there family's calm and comfortable. My son has some special needs and was so happy when Tracy (who my son called the nice lady all the way home) was able to get him in the next morning she was awsome. He had to be sedated and I was on edge but Tracey really made me feel that I had nothing to worry about. This Pediatric Dentist absolutely exceeded every expectation. The staff is friendly and efficient. Their system to make filing out paperwork is innovative. It cuts down the wait time. Everyone was excellent with my kids. My 2 year old was calm and comfortable. Not to mention it was is first dentist visit. The cleaning were thorough and not abrasive. My husband and I were allowed allowed in the cleaning room with the kids which was very important to me.I drove nearly an hour to reach this location but I absolutely love it. I would tell everyone with children to take the well worth drive.

My step daughter is autistic and after her father gaining custody she finally went to the dentist for the first time, we found out she had some many issues and no one would see her because of the autism. Everyone told us to go to Philly. After calling sprout they brought her in and we're the only dentist that she would even let clean her teeth! They were so amazing with her and within the next month they will do all the work she needs done; we couldn't be more happy with the staff at the honesdale office! They were so great!

Before my son came to live with me, he was on a bottle for much longer than he should have been. This led to decay and discoloration of his front teeth. I have had three experiences with this dental office prior to my last visit but I am leaving a review now because of the last time I went. All three times everyone was extremely polite, including the women at the front counter and especially the one nurse that took my three year old through xrays and cleaning. She was so fantastic! Being a mother of a 7 year old, 3 years old and 4 month old my brain is fried so I can't remember their names for the life of me, which is killing me right now. But the dentist herself took a very short time in the office but was fantastic anyway. This last visit though made me so happy to have my daughter as a patient there. I live an hour and a half away from their office and when I got their my daughter was having a horrible reaction to something. Her eye was swollen up like a balloon, her throats was itchy and her lips were swelling up as well. They said the dr wouldn't see her but told me a few emergency clinics in the area. They saw my insurance and said they probably wouldn't take it though. They actually took the time of their busy schedules to call my daughters doctor and talk them into scheduling her for an emergency appointment that very hour. Those women were absolutely amazing. I can't remember their names but wish I did because I would praise them on every site I could find. It's very very friendly enviroment and they actually care about the children, not just the money.

Upon walking into the office its very colorful and inviting. The receptionists are very pleasant. We only waited a few minutes before they called Brayden in. The last dentist we went to we had a HORRIBLE experience, so because of that my son hadn't been seen in alittle while, we found spout through a friend who suggested them, my son had a cavity, there was no judgement they were just about making us feel very comfortable and taking care of the problem. They dont want kids to fear the dentist so they make sure to make it fun and upbeat. The decor is adorable...Only gripe is one their receptionist is kind of miserable, other than that I absolutely love them!!!

We’ve been here 3 times so far and the experience has been great! Since my daughter (now 22 months) was a newborn I suspected a lip tie but every dr, nurse and lactation consultant we saw dismissed me. When she was about 16 months we came to sprout for a cleaning and was told my daughter does have a lip tie and the laser revision was reccomended. After doing my research we decided to schedule it when we went for her next cleaning. She had the procedure done yesterday. They knew how nervous I was and thoroughly explained the procedure to myself and my husband and we’re very gentle and caring with my daughter. The procedure was super quick and they brought her back out to me right away and she was gone. She even wasn’t laughing a few minutes later. They explained the after care and even showed me how to do the stretches. They were so kind and thorough and very professional. The new Hamlin office is beautiful and all the staff has been beyond wonderful. We will definitely be staying with this office. I feel confident and comfortable with the level of care and professionalism.

Awesome experience here at Sprout Dental. Our son was traumatized by his former pediatric dentist. His fear of the dentist was so bad that I couldn’t even drive past the former dentist office. Here at Sprout they are so kind, patient and wonderful. I love that they allow parents to go back with their children. Our son isn’t afraid of the dentist anymore. I wish we found them sooner.

Absolutely amazing !! My son has a sensory disorder and hates brushing his teeth they gave him all the time he needed to be comfortable with getting his teeth cleaned. Very respectful staff & they have an outdoor gated area for the kids to play when they wait!

I took my 7 year old son for an appointment at Sprout today. he had a referral from another dentist to go somewhere else. even though Sprout is an hour away from me, I chose them because they had such positive reviews. I was NOT disappointed. Holly was the hygenist we saw and Dr.Kady was the doctor. they were absolutely wonderful!!!! they explained everything to me very thoroughly and made my son so comfortable. by the time I left, I felt confident in their treatment plan. the office was so kid friendly and comfortable as well. the front desk staff was also amazing and very friendly. I loved them so much that I wish they could treat me for my dental needs! if I could rate them 10 stars, I would. I will also be taking my baby to this office when he turns one. I will never take my children to another dentist, no matter how far the drive is. thanks again, Sprout! we are looking forward to many more visits. you all are extraordinary people.
