Smiles 4 Keeps is wonderful Pediatric Dental clinic. I called on the 4 of February and they got my child in within 24 hours. Not to mention, my daughter has very bad anxiety about dentists due to her last one. At the end of my daughter's visit she told me that she trust her new dentist...and that made me feel amazingly comfortable and safe with our decision to choose Smiles 4 Keeps for my children. I highly recommend them. They were warm and friendly and they took very good care of my child.

Staff is very friendly. They explain what's going on with my child. Ask if I have questions or concerns. Wait time is amazingly fast. My child gets nervous before dentist visit, but honestly who doesn't. My child doesn't have any complaints or issues with staff.

3 kids with 12 noon appointments and we were back in the car at 12:40. 2 kids had dentist and hygienist visits with me in small room. 3 rd kid had appointed separate. All left happy, even after some first time X-rays on a four year old. They even found me a kindergarten form the older kid needs for the fall when he starts kindergarten that I forgot to bring.

I love coming here with my son for his Dental care. The staff is very kind and caring. The only complaint I have is the dirty socks smell in the waiting area. It's a nice place where kids can play while waiting but the smell was not so pleasant to me. As soon as I walked inside the waiting area it was like a slap in my face. The air conditioner was on but it couldn't help it. Something must be done to fix that problem.

Love love love this place. Front desk lady Kathy always pleasant and never makes you wait if she doesn't have to. Doc's, hygienist and assistants are amazing. Never received better care for my kids in a dental office. Use to go to Bethlehem pediatric dentistry and the front desk was always nasty. Even to thier other staff that worked the back. It was always tension. Glad we made the switch. Best choice ever.

So yesterday was my first time going to Smiles 4 keeps. The place was nice nd clean big play area to keep the kids entertained with all of the toys. My daughter was having bad tooth pain. I was at work looking for a dentist for her to go to. I called smile for keeps to see if thy had an opening that same day. The young lady I spoke with was so nice she made me a same day appointment. I was shocked bc normally I call other dentist nd there's nvr any same day appointments. All of the staff were very professional and caring. I would highly recommend this dentist. You get 100+ Stars from us.

I have to say for as busy as this place gets they do a really great job getting everyone seen as quickly as possible. They are very friendly and welcoming. Yes, appointments when dental surgery is needed are going to be longer then just a checkup! Just be prepared and keep snacks and drinks in the car.

I have been going to Dr. Wezmar with my children since before the name changed and new location. I had seen a dentist who suggested a certain type of work for my youngest (at the time) and saw him and he gave a different work suggestion. His suggestion was much less invasive and more smile friendly. We moved out of state for 2 years and came back but living an hour away from where we were living. We then had to take our newest "youngest" to see a dentist and he gave a pretty extreme work up for her. We prayed and prayed and decided drive the hour to Dr. Wezmar. Once more he had a much less invasive and more smile/child friendly plan for her teeth. We have been driving the hour ever since. The staff is always so wonderful and comforting. They really work with me to help make sure we are doing the best possible thing for our childrens teeth. Dr. Wezmar is absolutely amazing and I couldnt speak more highly of him. And Dr. Anna is super sweet. She was very patient with my more, hm, difficult child. I have read a lot of really bad things lately about this practice, and a lot of my friends give me flack for continuing to go, but honestly I couldnt imagine going anywhere else. I respect them and they respect me and there is a mutual understanding that we all want what is best for my children.

Only complaint would be that we waited 40 min past our appointment time but I guess they can only go so fast when working with kids so you get backed up.

This place is wonderful, the staff is spectacular, my grand daughter was always scared when she went to the doctors and even the Wic office so I just knew we was going to have a problem at the DENTIST office , but to my surprise we got there and it was like somebody took my grand daughter and switch her with another person who looked like her because she went with the nurses like you’ll was her family with no problem at all and by her self, so to you’ll THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

My 19 month old son fell and broke his front tooth and knocked it loose a week ago. The people at Smiles 4 Keeps helped my boy to feel very relaxed and comfortable. They were informative and easy to speak with, and they made what could have been a very scary early dental experience pleasant for him.

I am so happy I found this place! My son had an infection in his tooth and needed to be seen ASAP. I called them on Wednesday and they saw us the next day!! On the phone I had only scheduled an appointment for my 5 year old with the infection. Upon walking in the building I was greeted by the loveliest receptionist who told me that all 3 of my kids could get seen and get cleanings done!!! How wonderful is that? Literally never had that happen before ever. Once the cleaning was done my 5 year old had a ton of work that needed to be done. They scheduled him for June because that was the earliest they had available. I asked them to please put me on the move up list just Incase any sooner appointments opened up. They called me May 7th with an open slot for May 9th!! These people are super fast and I am so grateful to have found such an amazing dentist team! On top of it all they have a giant play room filled with toys to keep your kids occupied! This place is a 10/10!!! I highly highly recommend it to EVERYONE!

Absolutely love this dentist office. Today my little boy(4) went in the big room all by himself! His best friend had an appt today right before ours and they allowed the kids to go back together and both of them did so well that way! Highly accommodating, friendly, professional and amazing with children! If your child is very young, and not ready to go back by themselves, there are several private rooms for them to stay with the parent or guardian. Huge play room as a waiting room with plenty of toys, TVs, tablets and other kids to play with every time you come :)

As far as the dentistry goes this place does a very good job. I do have an issue with the threatening letter Bc I missed the checkup appt about calling cps on me. However I do understand that dental care and tooth decay are problems in our area. BUT you do not threaten that on our children. I also do not like the fact that they strap smaller children down and have left marks on a child I know. ..Traumatized her .. and the fact that they do not let parents in the back with small children Is also an issue. I believe it is common Bc my child used to go to Casey dental in Pittston and they did the same things to my child. Pediatric dentistry needs to rethink the way they handle the small children. Maybe if they fixed this ... people wouldn’t be so afraid of dentists and smile 4keeps wouldn’t have such a bad reputation Bc honestly their work is done well. If I were on staff there I would demand a change or quit. I couldn’t see kids being treated that way .. hurt... traumatized... parents threatened ... and parents also traumatized by what their children may be going through in the back.

Had to give one star rating wouldn’t allow 0! Do not put your children through what I witnessed first hand. Our first visit we checked in sat in waiting room were called back to a 2 foot closet area barley able to sit for child’s exam. *****VERY IMPORTANT*****While waiting I was looking for a rest room and stumbled into a room where I heard what sounded like air machines, as I turned the corner I first hand witnessed child after child (some looked as young as 2 or 3) alone all with masks on them asleep! There’s a reason they do not alone parents to go back there with there children people. Child after child came out obliterated and confused. Reconsider your parenting efforts if you dare make your child endure this. We left immediately and found a safe reliable dentist for our children. You can too! When we left my husband and I said its going to take a death of a child for them to change~don’t let it be your child!

When they steadfastly refused to allow me to accompany my children to the exam room, we left. There is no reasonable reason not to allow parents to accompany their children for a dental exam... truly makes me wonder what kind of shady business is going on in the back. I would like to start off by saying if you care about your child do not bring your child to this dentist or other locations of smiles 4 keeps. This dentist office and Wilkes barre location both have rude workers and are not welcoming. First off be ready to leave your child with strangers they will not allow you to go in the room with your child when they are working on your Childs teeth. That policy I believe is the WORST policy ever as a parent who will allow someone to take their child and do work without you being present and being able to comfort your OWN child. That is ridiculous. Secondly they tell you WHAT THEY WANT to do with your child and not what they recommend or work with you and come up with a plan B if you do not like plan A. The hygienist at the bartonsville location is a young rude girl who speaks in a nasty way to you and doesn't make you feel comfortable. The doctor was so rude and nasty and instead of being helpful because I did not agree they pull my Childs teeth out he told me I could go somewhere else. If you care about your Child plz do not go to this dentist find somewhere else.

We unfortunately had a terrible experience here. I was very uncomfortable with the fact that I never once met dentist that supposedly examined my child’s mouth. ( you’re not allowed to go back with your child) We were brought into a tiny closet with a staff member who went down the list of the work that needed to be done. She was extremely pushy on trying to get me to sign off on the work (which was a crazy amount of work and money) I told her I was going to go to a different dentist to seek a second opinion first. A few months later ( after we have already found a new pediatric dentist) they sent me a letter basically stating that if I didn’t bring my child back to their office they were going to report me for child neglect. What a strategy to try and get patients to come back. It really baffles me that you would think a parent would bring their child back to actually have work done after receiving such a negative letter. *** I would like to say ... the receptionist who answered my phone call about the letter was polite and patient. She seemed understanding of my concern of why i would be treated that way. She was the only positive part of our experience.

Horrible place. Say your kids need work when your second opinion say they have no cavities. They want money up front before they even preform the work(in which the kids dont even need). They say you cant go back with a 3 year old because of a law that isnt even true. And when I asked them about all the negetive things I've heard about the place they completely ignored the questions and when I addressed my concerns about not wanting to send my kids back alone they quoted the fake law as to why. Shame shame on this place. I found a really great pediatric dentist (which if they ever need work I will be allowed to accompany them) and will never ever return to this place!!! Shady business, save your kids and don't ever come here!

My youngest daughter fractured her 2 front teeth which lead me to Smiles 4 Keeps because her current dentist didn’t feel comfortable doing dental work on a 2 yr old. (He was ok with dental cleaning only). The staff is very friendly and the waiting room is fun for kids. I know the practice typically doesn’t allow you to go back with your child but that’s not always true! I was able to go back with my 2 year old while she had both front teeth bonded! She was too tiny to be sedated and she actually did really well. I was happy they checked her weight and didn’t do anything that would jeopardize my child. They did a great job too. Edit: my daughter now had to have one of her front teeth removed because it finally died from the injury. I was given the choice to go back with her during the extraction. I opted not to go back because I didn’t want to see it. They took great care of my daughter and ever step was gone over very carefully with me. I’m very surprised there are so many bad reviews.

I am not too happy about this place being a pediatric dentist and not having weekend hours. The majority of the patients are school aged and making an appointment which doesn’t conflict with the hours of school seems impossible.

These people sent a letter THREATENING TO CALL CPS and have me charged with NEGLECT if I did not make an appointment for my child thru their office. Needless to say I will NEVER use them again. I don't take kindly to THREATS. I doubt ANY of your patients will.
