I have a phobia about hearing drills,even hearing them on TV. I walked into the office before I made an appointment to see what the office was like. Staff was very friendly and understanding and still is! I was put at ease and made aware of the nitrous to relax me and it works. I now see a dentist regularly even though I still cringe if I'm in the waiting room and he is using the drill.

I recently started going to Dr. Hudimac. He is out of my network but the care I get there is fantastic! They have a genuine interest on how I feel while I'm there and make sure I'm completely satisfied when I leave. I just had 8 "fillings" completed at one time (at my own request.) I was there for almost 3 hours and between each Novocain shot I was asked if I wanted to walk around to stretch my legs. I've never experienced this service while being at a dentist. It's usually a "get them in and get them out" service. When it comes to my teeth I'd prefer not to have that mindset with my dentist! I highly recommend Dr. Scott Hudimac. You'll feel like your best interests are in their hearts.

Dr. Hudimac is the best, most educated dentist I've ever gone too. He's right on top of the latest information and the newest dental techniques, yet that doesn't override the entire office's dedication to the patients. They are good with all patients, but especially people that haven't been to the dentist office for a while.

I've been afraid of going to the dentist all my life...and my teeth and health suffered for it. By chance I found Dr. Hudimac, and that changed my entire outlook. Dr. H is very gentle, but very thorough. He gave me the complete plan to save what could be saved with a full explanation, and we went ahead with it. The Doc made me a wonderful upper denture that always fits without any denture adhesive, and a lower partial that is just great. So comfortable, and I can eat anything! It's been a long time. Add to my happiness over finding a great dentist, Dr. Hudimac and his wife, Lorrie, have a real knack in hiring staff. I've never been so comfortable in an office, and that's due to Lorrie, Mary, Deb, Caitlin, Nicole, and Danielle (I hope I haven't forgotten anyone). Each one is so professional, but so supportive, that I look forward to seeing each of them. I couldn't be more happy with my dentist, his staff, or his office. It's just like home...well, almost! I would recommend this dental office to anyone, whatever their dental needs.

I found Dr. Hudimac after 8 years, again. I was in desperate need of a dentist for an Emergency 2nd opinion. Dr. Hudimac's office got me in the next day after I called and him and his team figured out what was wrong with one of my teeth right away. The other dentist I had seen the day before did nothing and sent me on my way. My tooth ended up needing a root canal, but I opted for a pull. I am now a full-time patient at his office and have been there several times since my tooth pull a few weeks ago. From the time you walk in until you leave, you are made comfortable and they don't pressure you. From Dr. Hudimac down to the office staff...they ARE ALL wonderful! I will continue to see Dr. Hudimac for all my dental work and now I take my family there.

I've been going here since I moved to Latrobe years ago, and now that I'm moving to the other side of Greensburg...I'll still be coming here. Everyone on staff is kind, knowledgeable, and helpful, from the ladies at the desk to the hygienists to the doc himself. I've never had a bad experience here (well, one that wasn't my doing, anyway -- I don't think even the greatest environment could make a root canal pleasant, merely less awful). I've always been made to genuinely feel they care and would help me in any way I needed. They also don't waste time; rarely have I ever waited more than a few minutes for a scheduled appointment once I arrived. I guess what I'm saying here is that I like them a lot. I doubt you'll be disappointed.

I heard of Dr. Hudimac from a friend who referred him to me. I have had the same dentist for 15 years and have been satisfied with his care. However, on Christmas Eve I broke my tooth on a candy cane and I needed an appt sooner than later. After not being able to get in touch with my dentist for several days, I was disappointed and thought I may have to deal with the pain until we’ll after New Years. Upon calling Dr. Hudimacs office, I was delighted to be able to get an appt. the next day! Every minute of my visit was aimed at keeping me comfortable. First, I was offered a bottled water by the friendly receptionist. Next, the assistant met with me and made it clear that it was Dr. Hudimac’s goal to make sure I felt as little discomfort as possible, and that he did. Before starting my crown procedure, staff made sure I was warm enough- even offering me a blanket. When the Dr. numbed me, he made sure I had enough nococaine to ensure I felt NOTHING while he drilled away my tooth. I am very anxious about dental care... even after 45 years. I can say that I will have to hesitations about visiting this office again.

I went for a free consultation using the card she gave me and I looked forward to returning the second time (for a cleaning) today. It's a great dental office full of even better people!

Overpriced. Poor poor billing practices. Awful customer service. Quick to take to court - but unable to present bill for what they are charging until after court hearing. JUST AWFUL! If you want to save your pocketbook, smile, and much more DONT GO HERE!

I have been going to Dr. Hudimac ever since he took over the practice from Dr. Hauser. His staff has provided excellent service and he has done excellent work. He is very considerate of the patient and gives options for treatment of different problems. A member of the staff will call a day or so after a procedure to see how you are doing. He keeps up to date on the latest equipment and procedures.

I recently moved to Latrobe and was in need of a dentist because I was experiencing discomfort in one of my teeth. Initially I visited another dentist who told me I needed 2 root canals and quoted me at $2,900 out of pocket (after insurance). I went to Dr. Hudimac for a second opinion. His staff were so helpful, patient and kind. I learned that I actually only needed an old filling replaced! That was a huge relief except I have terrible anxiety about needles and doctors in general. I was given the option for nitrous oxide, which I accepted, and this helped me get through the procedure incredibly well. Brenda, the hygienist who assisted, was very comforting as I received the novocaine shot. They were done quickly and if it weren't for their hands in my mouth I probably wouldn't have even known they were drilling into my tooth! I highly recommend coming here!

I have experienced major complications with some dental work done by two previous dentists. I had to find another dentist, but I felt a lot of mistrust for any dentist. I was experiencing anxiety knowing I had to get some dental work done. I began searching for another dentist and an acquaintance mentioned Dr. Hudimac. I reviewed his webpage and read his patients' reviews. Based on the positive profile and feedback, I arranged for a pre-patient consultation. Upon meeting, I explained to him my fear of dental work because of my past experiences. He assured me that he could work with me. In the past two months, I have had bridge work done as well as a tooth filling replaced. I must first report his patience with me as I tried to overcome my initial dental-chair anxiety. After completing the bridge-prep procedure, I am pleased to report that his approach was less aggressive than any previous dental work I have experienced in the past. In addition, I did not experience any pain for days afterward as I had experienced with other dentists. Dr. Hudimac's staff is also patient and caring. They have worked with me with my problem with pre-dental work anxiety. Overall, all of my visits at Dr. Hudimac's office have turned out to be positive experiences. Thus, I am very pleased with his services, and I highly recommend Dr. Hudimac and his team for your dental work.
