I met Dr. Levine a few years ago to get information on getting an implant. I had a problem with a top front tooth needing to be replaced. I was first greeted by his wonderful staff, who immediately, were very warm and friendly. The procedure was explained to me in great detail. All of my questions were answered so that I could easily understand the procedure that I was going to experience. Dr. Levine and his staff are very warm and caring individuals and took the time with me as a patient that I felt I deserved, unlike many Dr.'s today. His calm demeanor and patience put me at ease with the major undertaking I was trusting him with. The surgery went well and he called me the next day to see how I was feeling. I was even given a number to call over the weekend, that directly contacted Dr. Levine if I had any problems or concerns. The long healing process took place and Dr. Levine and his staff remained caring and attentive throughout the entire time. He kept in close contact with my dentist about my progress, as they needed to work together throughout the entire process. Today, I have my permanent tooth and am very pleased with the final outcome. People never ask me if I have a fake tooth in the front when I smile, and my close friends and family have to ask me which one it is. I continue to see Dr. Levine on a maintenance level to have my teeth cleaned, which is alternated with my dentist's office. This procedure was very personal and important to me, and I will always be grateful that I put my faith and trust into such a capable man. He is very knowledgeable in his field and well deserves the recognition that he receives from his peers. I always have a few of his business with me and proudly recommend his office to anyone I meet in need of implants, with no reservations. Dr. Levine is genuine and I respect him greatly as a person and a Doctor. Go and talk to him and his staff, you won't be sorry, and you will see for yourself, that everything I said here is true. My dentist suggested Dr. Levine, and his reputation internationally in this field is well-earned! His billing staff work with you and are willing to attempt to bill medical even when they know it won't be approved simply because I asked. The front desk staff offer appointments that are convenient, and the hygienists are knowledgeable and caring. Things are clearly explained up front so there were no surprises, and that was also much appreciated!

I was planning a trip to Costa Rica in three weeks and had some bothersome, but not terrible, pain from a tooth. My dentist told me that the pain that I was feeling was caused by an infection and that the tooth definitely needed to be extracted and should be replaced by an implant. I said that I wanted to see Dr. Levine because even though his office is a bit of a distance from where I live, my wife had an implant done by him in 2011 and had a great experience. My dentist replied, "Dr. Levine and Dr. Fava are both excellent." When I called their office, the staff was extremely helpful in getting me seen on short notice. Dr. Levine was very attentive and thorough in his examination and in developing a plan for treatment. That plan called for extracting the tooth, building up the bone under it with a bone graft, and doing the implant about three months later. When I asked if the extraction could wait until I returned from Costa Rica, Dr. Levine explained why flying with the infection under the tooth was a VERY bad idea. So the extraction had to be done promptly. Dr. Fava was able to do it the next day. He turned out to be just as thorough and caring as Dr. Levine. And while having a tooth extracted is not my favorite way to spend an afternoon, Dr. Fava and his surgical assistant made it as comfortable for me as possible. Dr. Fava asked if I would like him to describe what he was doing or if I preferred not to hear about it. I chose to have the "play-by-play", and he explained in detail what was happening, which was interesting - although I doubt that it qualifies me to perform the same procedure for a friend who might have a similar problem. I had very few after-effects of the extraction and bone graft. I took a few Tylenol on the next two days, but they were more as a precaution than for any immediate discomfort. It has now been a week since the procedure, and all is well. I will return for a checkup in another week, and we will decide when to schedule the implant. I definitely feel that I have been dealing with the A-Team.

Thanks to genetics I do not have two of my adult upper incisors, which led to two different rounds of braces and the need for implants. Following my engagement last year I knew it was time to give up my retainers with fake teeth so I could eat and smile without embarrassment at my wedding. Other dentists had made me feel pressured into getting my implants before I felt financially or emotionally comfortable, but Dr. Levine's office explained the process and made sure I had plenty of time to think things over before we scheduled the procedure. Dr. L inserted both implants on the same day and the recovery process went smoothly. The office was incredibly patient with all of my questions; proactive when I needed them to reschedule an appointment, contact my other dentist, or had a question about if something was normal or not; and pleasant throughout the entire process. Dr. Levine even gave me his cell number in case I needed anything after hours! Two weeks from now I'm getting married with a full set of teeth and am ever so glad I chose the PA Center for Dental Implants to help me get there.

My dentist said I was in serious need of a Periodontist or I would lose some of my teeth. I interviewed several offices around me and I also did some research on the internet saw that Dr.Levin of Pennsylvania Center for Dental Implants and Periodontics had very positives reviews. I ended driving about 45 minutes further than another office around the corner from me to check him out. I liked his staff, office and Dr.Levin immediately. Dr. Levin was very personable and he explained to me in a manner that I would understand all of my options and also he explained a study that he was doing and how he was able to determine the percentages of the chances I would lose some of my teeth as it had to do with my habits, hereditary and also if I was a diabetic. We optioned for LANAP surgery which they use a laser to get rid of my current infection and also helps regenerate tissue for me around my teeth. Dr.Levin was pretty much sure before hand that I would lose some teeth no matter what, but this surgery would help the rest of my teeth. The Surgery was performed on all four quadrants of my mouth in one session. it took about 2 hours and afterwards it wasn't really painful but with all of the drugs in my mouth I looked like a stroke victim for a day. The only negatives is the diet afterwards that you need(mainly liquids) as to let the your mouth heal. After several follow up visits to Dr.Levin, he even surprised himself by saying that the surgery was very successful and in fact I haven't lost any teeth.. I still have one tooth that is "Guarded" by so far so good after about 6 months. I definitely recommended Dr. Levin and his staff as they are truly good at what they do and try to make you as comfortable as possible. I love this office so much! Everyone that works there are the best, but before I continue to praise them more, I have to tell a story. This story involves one of the biggest yet most painful experiences of my life (and this is not ANY of my dentists' fault; it's just the problems involved were NEVER meant to be a painless journey. Two baby teeth. My vamp canines were two small babies. My baby teeth NEVER fell out, and I was 24 years old at the time. The weirdest part is that there was NOTHING above those two canines. NOTHING AT ALL. Two years ago, my dentist told me that if either of my baby teeth were loose; to tell him ASAP. Both teeth began to loosen, and get looser each day. I told my dentist, and he said that I should speak with an orthodontist because my bite was "unique." That bite was also known as an underbite, which meant my lower jaw is further forward than my upper jaw. Uh oh. I go to the orthodontist, and he tells me that not only do I need to get braces for the second time of my life, but I also need to get a major surgical procedure to correct my jaw. After the braces process, I can get the two baby teeth pulled, and the implant journey would begin. I was due to get the surgery within several months, but only on the orthodontist's OK. I got braces again, and after one year of not being told to get the surgery, I miraculously was able to dodge the possibility at all. It surely was a miracle (THANK YOU RUBBER BANDS; if you have had braces you know what I mean). Before I knew it, my braces were off, my teeth were straight, and I could begin the implant process. I went to my dentist first, and he gave me the number for this office. I made an appointment with Dr Philip Fava. He told me EVERYTHING he was going to do. The baby teeth needed to be pulled (duh), and they were going to DRILL screws for implants into my gums. Sounds painful right? Well, it was maybe a three hour procedure, and I honestly have to say; IT WASN'T BAD AT ALL. With the incredible staff checking on you every step of the way; the undeniable warmth of the surrounding office, and an intelligent dental surgeon; it was everything I needed. Every detail. Every inch. Every little thing was perfectly explained, and they did everything they were going to do. This office is TRUE TO THEIR WORD, and TRUE TO THEIR PATIENTS. They are a welcoming bunch, especially reception. They are all the sweetest group of people you'll ever meet in an office where most people would be afraid. I was one of them. Especially after this entire process, do you think I like going to the dentist? I was seeing three separate specialists for this entire process, but you know what, this entire process made me feel stronger. I've met so many wonderful people in this profession, and in my opinion, THEY JUST WANNA HELP YOU. After the braces process, I knew I wasn't done, and dodging the surgery felt like a miracle for the time being. I still had to do a procedure, but this one felt like a cake walk compared to what was in store for me. I just had to recover for one night, and no eat any chewable or bitable foods for a few days. Not bad at all, honest. The real wonder of this office, is that after the whole process of having braces again and hoping that I wouldn't have to get a brutal surgery; this office made me feel like I was at the finish line. The finish line meaning heaven. I went through hell and back, despite how amazing all of the other specialists were, but in all honesty, this group of dental specialists and hygienists brought the most positive attitude I could ask for. The service, the professionalism, the intelligence, and the treatment is worth every second. Don't fear the dentist, work with this office if you feel indifferent. Now, I am 26, and the dental procedure is OVER. I'm beyond relieved it's over, but so many people to thank for making this happen. Since this review is for the Pennsylvania Center for Dental Implants and Periodontics, I'll thank them with all of my heart. Thank you so much for creating the structures that support my new dentures!

Doctor Levine performed the periodontal laser surgery for me. The result was amazing. I got rid of my bad breath which makes me more confident when talking to people. Also, there is no more bleeding while brushing my teeth. My gum tissue looks pink and my teeth are firmer than before. I am very happy with the result. I was lucky that one of my friends recommended this place. Otherwise, I would have undergone the traditional periodontal treatment which would be more painful, much longer recovery time, and more expensive.
