Waste of my time today.I’ve spent thousands at this place without insurance,then when I had insurance my $2500 root canal and cap (which fell out) they wanted to charge me a fee today to glue it back in?! You did the work I already paid is glue that much money?? Now if I ever get insurance you accept, my family and I will never come back!!!! Only thing that mattered today was money and no manners from anyone I dealt with.......disappointed is an understatement if zero was an option that would be my rating

I went for a routine cleaning. They wanted to extract (2) teeth, and were very pushy about it. I refused. Dr. Evanish came in to discuss it. The conversation changed into him telling me about his Shelby Mustang and other high end expensive cars, how expensive they were, and how he had to ship one out west to have work done on it. I couldn't care less about his cars. I left. That was 5 years ago. I have since been to another dentist who couldn't find anything wrong with my teeth? I still have them, and still don't have any issues with them. I'm glad that I refused their "treatment". They are immoral, and take advantage of innocent people. I work locally and have heard similar stories from many people who have been there. STAY AWAY!!! BAD BUSINESS!!! There are many other good, reputable, local dentists to choose from.

Went there concerned about my gums and my gum only!! Said I would need fillings, one of my tooth needed to be removed and my wisdom teeth removed so my husband got a rediculous loan for those and 4 deep cleanings for my gums. First, they tried to give me a root canal for that tooth that needed to be removed. I refused because that would have been a lot more money and my husband already paid thousands!! I wanted them to pull it because it was bad and I didn't want future problems with it. They filled it instead. They assured my husband that all of this was taken care of with the loan. I go in for my second deep clean that was no different than a basic cleaning that they charged so much for. Then I was told I needed to give then another $150 on top of all the money they already got!!! They didn't explain this in the least!! After spending over $4000 on fillings and 2 cleans because I couldn't afford the other 2 my teeth are going to fall out anyway!!!! Everybody please do your research and choose wisely when it comes to dentist. This place is a rip off and only care about money!!

This is an incredibly well-run office. The staff combine a welcoming spirit with impeccable professionalism. We have been patients for over 14 years and have never been disappointed. Even my husband, who hates going to the dentist, happily keeps his appointments and follows their suggestions. Miracle workers!

My 24 year old son had a filling fall out. He went here to correct it. They charged him $160 for an Xray and they said that he needed a root canal and a crown all for $2,800. He went to another dentist who said that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the tooth, filled it and the bill came to $135. I waited 9 months to post this to be sure the new filling was fine. still perfect and no problems.

************BUYER BEWARE*********** ********** VERY OVERPRICED ********* *Wish I read reviews prior to my visit a few weeks gap. Several had the same experience I did. Read other reviews below mine. This place is trained as a staff to systematically, rip you off, all in my opinion. Stay far away. They are charging 4x the rate for a root canal and crown. They claimed a filling that came out, now needs root canal, and a crown. A relative oral surgeon said, it needs a small filling. No pain or anything, but they wanted close to 3,000 for a procedure not needed. Had it filled for $25 with insurance with another dentist, who also gave same opinion as the oral surgeon. This place reminds me of a place you see on the nightly news, in my opinion. They have an in house discount plan to further the scheme. By charging $99 for a discounted plan . Office visits, xrays, cleanings, flouride, 100% . However 20% off anything major, like route canal and crown, etc. The problem is, they dont tell you that the prices are 4x the national average. You can ask all you want, they will not tell you general pricing until after they see you. Its all a part of the scheme, in my opinion.This makes the discount non existent. In fact the 20% discount only means your being ripped off 20% less, all in my opinion, and your paying $99 to be ripped of 20% less, or $150 for your family to be ripped off 20% less. **Buyer Beware** this place runs a factory racket, and it all starts with the front desk, all in my opinion. I was nearly duped for nearly $3,000.

all i have to say is a picture says one million words,notice the picture of all there staff members when you first log in,well all those people in that picture are coming home with a salary and dentists are going home with triple there salary,guess where that money comes from ,BINGO yes for our pockets,the biggest ripoffs i ever meet,they wanted to charge me for work that didnt need to get done,they go with the most expensive route ,and hammer you over the head with crazy numbers,they are all about the old mighty dollar all im going to say is keep the money in your pocket and find yourself a different dentist.the money is better in your pocket than theirs.amen

I have been a patient of Horizon Dental now for several years. I started going there because I am not comfortable with going to the dentist. When I saw they had a very caring, gentle, patient approach I knew I didn't have to avoid the dentist anymore and would always go to Horizon for my care. The staff if so patient and never pushy. Would recommend to anyone. Especially if you have been avoiding going to a dentist because of nervousness. Thank you for the great care!

My son went here to repair a fallen out filling. They charged $160 for an XRay, and then wanted $2,800 for a root canal,and crown. He went to another local dentist who said that the tooth was fine and re-filled it....all for $135.

Robert Davis Got me in very next day after breaking a tooth! 1/2 hr repair with digital x-ray and UV reacted ceramic, everything!!! Of course, they are very nice and cleanmy teeth every 3 months so I can keep my originals!!!

I thought they were very good, took care of things I needed right then and there. I love the fact that I was seen very quickly. I hate making several appointments when I'm already there. i can see how that might overwhelm some people, but for me I'd rather get it all done at once. I had to get a crown, I was told by another dentist that I needed this crown so i wasn't surprised. I was called back the next day t see how I was doing, a very nice touch.

Going to find a new dentist. We have gone to Horizon for several years now, and it has consistently gotten worse. The last straw was a couple weeks ago when my husband went in to have his cap put on after a root canal and they tried to charge him more money. Luckily, I had the receipt from the prior appt stating we were paid in full for the root canal and crown. After informing them that we were indeed paid up, the charges magically disappeared and the acct was paid in full. Then for the last 2 or 3 appts, they have called 3 or 4 times for confirmation. After informing the last 3 that I did in fact confirm the appt with the first rep, they finally quit calling. They are notorious for scheduling follow-ups and future appts without informing you..you won't know until you get those infamous confirmation calls. They always tell me they note the fact that I want to be present with my children in the files, and somehow I always have to fight with them about having my appt last so I can be with my kids. The doctor and ladies who do the cleanings are always very nice, I just think the people that run the show are severely lacking organizational skills. And.. They will rip you off if you don't stay on top of it!! Always ask questions about what you are paying for, what the insurance covers, and always keep receipts!!

I would never recommend this dental office. It was the worst dental experience of my life. I went in for a checkup and was told my wisdom tooth had a small cavity. The dentist offered me to either have it filled or extraction. He said that because it was a wisdom tooth he recommends extraction. I listen to his advice and my extraction took almost 5 hours. They had two different dentist trying to take a root out for almost 5 hours. Had stitches done twice that day and now a week after my mouth is not feeling right and I have a possible nerve damage.

Don’t go here if you need a crown done, it will fall out shorty after & you’ll get charged for a recement. My crown fell out a few times within 1 year. Absolutely horrible dental experience. One star is being generous

was told i needed a root canal and a cap on a tooth. My other dentist said that was ridiculous. It needed a small filling. I would never go back there. It's a tag team. they have one person after another coming in trying to sell you something. Not on your first visit - that's when they gain your trust. Never again

I love it there, I've only been twice, several visits more between now & probably Christmas as I'm getting dentures. The staff is very nice as are the doctors and dental assistants. It's Easy to find, waiting time is very short. I'm usually very nervous with anything dental, but these folks made me very comfortable. I'd recommend Horizon to everyone!!!

This is a dentist office that has their act together! On my initial consultation their deportment was very professional and courteous. Since I had missed a couple of years of dental maintenance, I needed some deep cleaning. Dr. James Rinehimer gave me about six needles and I didn't feel one. This was my best experience at a dentist office. Great job Horizon Dental! You have my recommendation with 5 stars.

I’ve been going to Horizon for over 12 years now. Most recently for full extractions and dentures! Only into it for a little over a week but I can tell you that they are pros! Compassionate, empathetic, and very good at what they do. I’m 70 and have had problems of all kinds with my teeth. I’ve also been to and tried other dentist offices. And while they may be a touch more expensive, it has been so worth it to me. They just seem to want to make everything good and right for me! I’m a very satisfied customer and I’m not usually one to make recommendations! These people are what make this office. I give it a thumbs up!
