Living in central VA for more than a decade, as a healthcare practitioner, I had the benefit of working with, working for, and being a patient of some world class healthcare practices. Zielinski Family dentistry is on par with those facilities and practitioners. Rare for this area. From the very first moment that I entered this practice, extremely apprehensive from previous bad experiences, the dentist has not been my friend, I was put at ease by the friendly, empathetic and genuine nature of everyone that I encountered, from the girls behind the reception desk to all those working in the back. I’m not going to mention names or titles. I don’t want to forget or misidentify anyone. At my initial meeting with Dr. Henry, I became part of the interdisciplinary treatment team. Interdisciplinary treatment team is a phrase that gets tossed around a lot, but usually doesn’t mean much. It does here. After giving a history and having an exam and x-rays, Dr. Zielinski spoke of some of my options and asked for some time to put together what he felt would be the best treatment plan for me. For me. Not him – me. His staff is free to make suggestions and the final verdict, comes down to the culmination of what I think will work for me. There’s a lot of behind the scenes work that goes into this. And it is work, to formulate a plan that’s best for the patient and then get the patient to understand why. The one thing I want everyone who reads this to take away from it is this: From the time I enter the reception area to the time I leave, each and everyone of the staff make me feel like I’m their only patient. And it’s not an act. It’s very genuine.

I visited doctor zielinski's dentistry office a week ago and it seemed to me that every one of the nurses and the doctor herself were very friendly to me i feel bad because i backed out of getting my chipped tooth pulled because i am very terrified of needles so they went and set me up with a few oral surgeons and also told me if i change my mind then i can always go back to them so i did they called me today on april 24th and told me they had a cancleation and if i wanted to come on to.orrow on the 25th so i said yes i will do that cuz i really need to get this tooth out of my mouth so i would highly reccomend dr. Zielinski to any other person she seems like she knows what she is doing. Thank you dr. Z

I decided to go here because of all the great reviews ( hour+ drive) and I was not let down. The staff is incredibly helpful and kind. I was told by a different dentist I would need 2 possibly 3 teeth pulled and came here to be told theres only one tooth ( that I had broken nearly in half ) that would maybe need to be pulled, they're still going to try to save it. I'd definitely recommend this dentist, they're in it for the patients not the $$$. Update: All the teeth the other dentist recommended to be pulled, had to be pulled. Still giving a 5 star because Dr. Caroline is amazing. She numbs you so you don't feel a thing and is very accommodating.

I have been going here for a year or so. Found out there was an issue with a molar needed to be extracted. Appt was made didnt make it to that filling fell out needed it pulled asap. Got there I was scared to death about it hurting. The nurse and the dr calmed me down, explained everything, and when I did feel something she stopped and gave me more meds. Over an hr later tooth was out , no pain felt and they were right. This place is awesome, friendly, compassionate, cares about their patients. Thank you all so much.

Disgusted with the person that picked up the phone (her name is Kim by the way). i called all morning,its 9:45am and they are still not picking up the phone , so i left a message and then they call me back 10 minutes after and with a attitude telling me that she cant reshedule me,then she tells me,you have to call 24 hours in advance it a broken appointment,reminding you that she talks over the phone to me like i are 5 years old....HELLO,its was labor daythe day before!!! Im sure you were NOT working,and the day before that it was Sunday. Dont go there...WARNING!!,you will be disrespected and there are too many dentist to go to and you will be treated better!
